No CC6 apps showing in App Manager

I signed up and received acceptance for the special pricing for existing customers.  I follow all dirs.  When I download, install & run the App Manager, the only applications I see are from the CS grouping. The photoshop app icon tells me I am up to date.  Why am I paying $10 a month for software I already have?

CC version of the applications will be released on June 17 per the annoucement Monday May 6 at the Adobe MAX conference (http://max.adobe.com/sessions/online.html and http://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/huge-announcements-at-max/). Photoshop specific information here http://blogs.adobe.com/photoshopdotcom/2013/05/breaking-from-tradition-photoshop-cc.html.
Currently there is a Creative Cloud member-only update to Photoshop CS6. Details here http://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/photoshop-version-13-1-available-now-for-creative-clo ud-members/.

  • Apps do not show in the app manager, n79

    Hello,
I installed some themes and now my old themes do not show in the app manager, however it shows up in the themes menu... how to solve this, pls help the experts here ...
    regards

    Thanks Mylenium,
I appreciate the response. I was confused because precisely I own the full CS6 Production Premium and Encore is there, I was unaware that it was deprecated in CC. Oh well...also I remember Adobe Story in Creative Cloud last year did show up so I was confused as to why it was not showing up now.
So Adobe Story is only cloud based now? hmmm...not sure how I feel about that one.
Anyway, thanks for the reply and all my best.

  • Uninstalled CS6 apps still show in the CC App manager

Uninstalled CS6 apps still show in the CC App manager; how do I remove them?

I uninstalled Photoshop CS6 and InDesign CS6 using the Control Panel in Windows 8 but the new CC App manger still shows them as being installed. See picture below.

  • Have CC programs installed already, but when I open Creative Cloud app Manager it only shows CS6?

Have CC programs installed already, but when I open Creative Cloud app Manager it only shows CS6?

OK thanks - I tried that, would not let me remove the OPM.db file as in solution 2, i uninstalled CS6 versions, i uninstalled Creative Cloud desktop app and then downloaded latest and installed - however, with continual workload, I am not about to remove all Adobe software as suggested in Solution 4!  Even in the Creative Cloud app where it shows install new apps, there are only CS6 versions showing?
I have just uninstalled creative cloud app manager again - go to download latest version and the message is - we are currently experiencing problems, please try again later.

  • I am an iBooks author. Connect shows book management tools. I need app management tools.

As an iBooks author I already have my iTunes Connect account set up to manage my book content. Now that I'm ready to publish an app for the iPhone, however, I cannot find any app management tools. I have a paid membership to Apple's Developer program, and my Apple ID is linked up to XCode. Help?

Problem solved on the phone with Apple. One Apple ID cannot be associated with both iTunes Connect for iBooks and iTunes Conect for the App Store. They issued a refund on my newly purchased developer membership and had me create a second Apple ID under which to enroll in the App Store side of things. Not perfect, but a quick and easy solution.

  • Lightroom 5 not showing as an available download in my App Manager. Running Mavericks 10.9.2

I have subscribed to a full subscription of Adobe Creative Cloud.
I have downloaded Photoshop fine, but when I go to download Lightroom, it doesn't appear as an available app in my Adobe App Manager.
I am running OX 10.9.2 and have plenty of RAM and memory free.
    Can anyone help?

    Hi isobelmarkusdunworth,
Could you please post the screenshot of the problem.

  • App manager will not let me install photoshop after I put it in trash and emptied?

When I go to the app manager it says "up to date" for photoshop and won't let me install it again. I have read a bit and found a suggestion to look in utilities to properly uninstall it, but there are no photoshop files in the utilities folder and when i search photoshop nothing comes up on my computer. Another suggestion I read was to completely uninstall everything, but I would really rather not have to go through all my ID Muse, and AI files and upload the ones I want to keep to the cloud. Is there a workaround for this problem at all? When I do click the adobe air uninstall thing it just says it will delete Adobe Muse, photoshop doesn't show up. I wish it wasn't so hard to get the program I'm paying for even though I understand I made a mistake uninstalling it incorrectly.
    Thank you

    Thanks Nancy. I followed your advice, but photoshop still does not show up on the cleaner tool. The programs that show up are;
    Creative Suite 6 Design Standard
    Adobe Muse
Adobe InDesign CS6 Application Base Files
    AdobeCreativeCloudDriver
    and Adobe Illustrator CS6 Core
Like I said, since I don't want to impact my ID and AI files I'm not sure if Creative Suite 6 is what I want to uninstall or if that would delete ALL my Adobe files? I'll await a reply or start another thread. Thanks

  • App manager won't add any apps.

I try to add either a packaged or hosted app into app manager on firefox 30. I've verified that the hosted app works on my handset (obviously I have no way of testing that the packaged app works without installing it via app manager, which isn't working). The app then does not show up in the list of apps in app manager (which is empty), nor does firefox display any error messages either as alerts or logs in the console. I went on a hunt for logs around my filesystem, but I couldn't find anything. I am on OSX 10.9.

With the last Firefox upgrade, some plugins are no longer
    enabled until you enable it.
    Open the Add-ons Manager.
Press the '''<Alt>''' or '''<F10>''' key to bring up the tool bar.
    Followed by;
    Windows; '''Tools'''
    Linux; '''Edit'''
    Mac; ''application name''
    Then '''Add-ons. '''
    Hot key; '''<Control> ''(Mac: <Command>)'' <Shift> A)'''
On the left side of the page, select Plugins.
BTW; At the top right is a link to check your plugins.

  • Some programs missing from app manager

I downloaded the CS6 programs on the desktop with no problem. And I also knew that I could download them on one more computer so I did. But when I opened the app manager I noticed it didn't give "all" of the programs that I got from the other time like After Effects and Premier. Is this because I downloaded them on the desktop before?

These software need 64 bit operating system , so if you don't meet the minimum system requirement they will not show up in AAM.
Same goes for the Lightroom and all the Video software.

  • CC App manager installed Lightroom 5.2 on wrong drive, NOT the one specified in preferences.

I installe Lightroom 5.2 64bit using the Creative Cloud application manager which has its app location preference set to install adobe apps on the "D" drive at "D:\Program Files\Adobe" I set this in June when photoshop CC was installed on my computer, and it still shows as my prefference. However the App Manager installed Lightroom 5.2  on my jammed-packed-full "C" Drive at  "C:\Program Files\Adobe" .
I have my system set up with the Windows-7 Pro OS installed on a small SSD "C" drive; my applications set up on a much larger SSD "D" drive, and my data stored on a dual spinning Hard Drive 3TB Mirror RAID seen as the "J" drive in Windows.
Since the "Location" setting in prefferences DID NOT WORK.  How do I uninstall and install my new version of Lightroom 5.2 on my "D" Drive intead of my "C" drive withoul loosing my catalog. I had an older install of lightroom 5 standalone perpetual licenced version, that the App Manager succesfully uninstalled and transfered its catalog to the new installation.

That is because the photos you are looking at are still being managed under the old process version. If you look under the histogram in the develop module you will see a little lightning bolt. If you click on that you can change the 2012 process version. Then you will have the new adjustments.  Be aware that sometimes switching process versions produces unwanted results. So that is why Lightroom is designed to allow you to update the process version on an individual image basis.

  • Why doesn't Photoshop CS6 Appear in the CC Desktop App manager?

Missing CS6 Apps in application manager. Adobe, the app manager has been nothing but problems. Apps never used to dissapear from DVDs or CDs.
My MacBook Pro is capable of running all CC and CS6 apps.
So I downloaded photoshop cs6 from creative.adobe.com. When I went to install it said it could't verify my subscription.

This works as designed. Current versions of the CC app only show the actual CC versions. For the rest refer to this:

  • Will not install from inside App Manager

Got past the A12E5 error, now with the Adobe Application Manager installed it will not download the any software for install.
Is there a place to download them alternativly and use the App Manager to approve/activate and install?
I believe the error code is (-60)

    Manish, thanks for your help.
Tried similar in Windows 7 with no effect. Also tried Adobe Creative Suite cleaner tool via http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html It installs ok on my laptop, so doesn't appear to be a location issue, but will not install on my workstation. Manual installation of AAM completes but after typing in user/pass it says 'download error, contact customer service'. Photoshop CS6 beta installed and functioned ok and I had CS4. Tried uninstalling both, same issues. Adobe Lightroom 3.6 is still installed and functions.
I also tried someone's suggestion of installing the trial of something so it would install the Akamai Netsession download manager. This completes and when I launch the AdobeApplicationManager.exe I can see it spawn Netsession which then hangs and can be killed initially, but zombies for a while ( cannot be killed ). Packet trace ( https://twitter.com/#!/DaSpadeR/status/201295684022960128 ) appears to show initial handshake and then nothing.  -John Spade

I have full membership to CC and have been using it for 4 months. Randomly Photoshop stopped opening jpgs, so I uninstalled and re-installed. Photoshop then stopped working all together. I signed out of the app manager and when I signed back in all my info was gone and only "TRIAL VERSIONS" of CC apps were available. I paid for this software. I need to be able to download it again.

Wow, Karan Taneja, you've just embarrassed yourself on a worldwide support forum.  Not only is your post ridiculous and completely inappropriate for a technical support forum, but it also shows your ignorance as to whom you think the audience is.  Apple is not here.  It's users, like you.
If you would have spent half the time actually reading the Terms of Use of this forum that YOU agreed to by signing up to post, as you did composing that usesless, inappropriate post, you (and the rest of us on this forum) would have been much better off.

  • How to use apps manager?

I recently upgraded my E71-2 from an 8gb class 6 card to a 16gb class 10 card so that I could load all of the Nokia maps. I finally got the card installed and maps loaded.  It was an incredibly frustrating job, but worth it as the phone seems much faster with room for more apps.
My issue now is that I successfully (?) loaded several apps that show in the apps manager, but there is no start icon.  For example, the Nokia multiscanner shows as installed (was installed prior to the card upgrade) but I can not get it to run; also just loaded several translation dictionaries from the Nokia site with similar results.  What am I missing?
    Regards, Bill
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Problem solved without any hard or soft resets.  It seems that the apps manager reports what was/is installed with no regard to its operational status.  Evidently, when I installed the new memory card, some app links were ‘lost’ as were their icons.  However, when the missing apps (multiscanner and Sports Tracker) were re-installed, all was OK except for the Nokia Dictionary which only wanted to remove the new languages that were shown as loaded in the apps manager.  It turns out that the Nokia dictionary will only allow a max of three languages!!!!  After I removed some to get to this limit, all was now OK.
After many hours, I also have all of the world maps loaded and working well.  This as well as the memory card upgrade has been an incredibly painful operation actually worse than working with MS DOS!  Ovi Suites is much worse than PC Suites – both of which are totally out of date and very slow with a tendency to lock up the PC.  I found that it was much easier to start PC Suite first to recognize the phone and then open OVI Suites to work with the maps.
Bottom line – I still love the E71 phone with its superb hardware and its many features.  If only the SW could be improved to that of its HW.  I also love it because I can navigate and also call with Gizmo all without a data plan.
    Happy New Year, Bill

  • Lightroom not appearing in Adobe App Manager

Ok- that makes sense (though it might be helpful in the future when one clicks the download button and takes them to the app manager, there is some kind of notification about not being able to download and install, instead of just not showing up).
But I also have the same problem with Lightroom. Click download in cloud, but doesn't show up in App Manager. And the tech specs say Lightroom supports Vista. Thoughts?
    Ian

Well typically if it is missing it is due to not meeting the system requirements or having an older version of the Adobe Application Manager installed.  If you are sure that you meet and exceed the requirements then I would recommend the following steps to ensure that you do not have any additional difficulties.
Remove all Adobe Creative Software that is currently installed on your computer.
Once removed run the CS Cleaner tool - CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
    Delete the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\ folder
Reinstall the Adobe Application Manager from https://creative.adobe.com/.
The CS Cleaner tool may not be necessary for this process but if you are going to invest the time with removing all of the Adobe Creative Software then it would be best to follow with the cleaner tool.
