No Center/Sub from Audigy using Klipsch Promedia 5.1 (analog) - NOT a CMSS/digital output qu

I am receiving no center/sub output from my Audigy Platinum card. I have had the card installed on the same system (P4 3.0/ASUS P4800 Mobo/Win XP Pro SP2) for a couple of years with no problems. I recently began experiencing intermittent loss of my center/sub channel. Since I have not changed the connections in quite some time, I was able to rule out an improper output connection. Also, I was able to independently test the speakers themselves and the center and sub are both functioning. Additionally, I switched my Klipsch volume/channel output controller to headphone mode and ran the Creative Speaker diagnostic and I hear four channels (FR/FL/RR/RL) in the headphones (as I do with my front and rear speakers) but I do not receive any signal for the center channel (i.e., no "center channel" speech signal). Based on all of the above, I am certain that the speakers are functioning correctly (I am of course using them in analogue mode), there is no "switch" on the rear of the subwoofer for 2/2., all of my Creative and windows software are configured for 5. audio. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all of the creative drivers and software (using Driver Cleaner Pro in Windows Safe Mode) and reinstalled from my original Audigy CD and then performed a complete Auto Update from the Soundblaster.com site. <Still no center/sub even in diagnostic test!!!!

I want to be clear: I am not confused about CMSS 5. gaming/audio issues; I believe this is purely a soundcard output issue. Despite all the grousing I read about the Creative driver series, I have been most happy with the Audigy Plat card. It has performed extremely well with the Klipsch 5. in gaming, DVD, and audio contexts for several years through numerous driver updates. I know how to configure the settings to get true 5. in any context. However, now I am completely stumped. Is there anything I have overlooked or might try so I do not have to conclude that this great card has just "crapped out" and now needs to be replaced?

Thank you! I had my digital coax connected there with an adapter, but since that can only carry ac-3 and stereo signals im better of using direct 5 chan ( i don?t watch movies on my PC... that?s what the home theater is for) Most games use EAX or some other direct sound, so ill stick with 5. direct analog. who would have thought the digital jack was also for center/sub heh.

Feedback using analog input to control digital output

Hi all,
I've got a program that I intended to open and close two valves (and thus actuate two pneumatic cylinders) based on the readings from load cells mounted to each cylinder. The idea was that it would send a digital out to open the valve and extend a cylinder, then close the valve when the load reaches a pre-determined value (with frequency dictated by increasing or decreasing the inlet air pressure and thus the fill time of the cylinder). It would then do so for the other cylinder in a loop. The issue I have is that the response time of the loop actuating the valves was too slow-for a desired force of 1800 N I had to set the limit to 1100 Newtons. It was nice and consistent in this regard but then I started having instances where the valve would stay open long enough to apply a force of 3600+ N. The biggest need in this program is to maintain a consistent load and ensure that the max. load is not being exceeded. I've used local variables and a queue to pass the load values to the valve actuation loop but it did not seem to make a difference. I don't know if part of my problem is the mishmash of data types I'm using in passing the load cell values or if a notifier would be a better bet.

Block picking from unrestricted use stock when it is in schd. for delivery

Dear Experts,
I have 50 units in unrestricted use stock of particular material for a storage location in the plant. I have made two outbound deliveries for this material. When I pick 50 units of this material, these 50 units i can see in schd. for delivery and in unrestricted use stock also I can see 50 units in MMBE. Now, 50 units are in unrestricted use stock, once again i will be able to do picking of another 50 units of this material from the same storage location. (there is physical variation in stock.) Now, when i will do pgi for one outbound delivery, the stock from unrestricted use will be debited and system not allow to do pgi for another outbound delivery. (we don't want to allong negative stock). Is there any way to block picking of the stock which are in schd. for delivery. Thanks in advance.

Maybe you should set proper availability check for your deliveries / materials.

Here you can carry out of your setings.
E.g.

Here you should set for proper checking group / checking rule combination > "Include deliveries" (V_441V-VBBLP) field should be set.

Can I restore to Snow Leopard from Lion using time machine? I did not make a new partition on my external HD. My reason for doing this is to import data from Quicken 2007 to Quicken Essentials and then upgrade back to Lion. Can I restart and hold down the "OPTION" key upon start up that will take me to Apple Recovery HD and recover from time machine? I'm a noob at these sort of things. I appreciate your comments and suggestions.

Calling LabVIEW from C# Using ActiveX?

I try to call LabVIEW VI's from C# using ActiveX/COM, but I am not
successful. I was able to do this from C++ and there are nice articles on
the NI site dealing with the C++ integration.
I tried to follow the instructions of the C# help, using a wrapper for the
LabVIEW application call. I included the TypeLib that I created with the
tlbimp-tool in my project. Basically my code looks like this:

After adding a reference to the LabVIEW type lib to the project (I just to o to Project >> Add Reference and I browse for the typelib myself), and including the labview namespace at the top,here is what I tried

How to disable SP-DIF (digital) output on Audigy

Hi, I am using Audigy 2 soundcard connected to Altec Lansing ADA885 speakers. These speakers have built-in Dolby Digital Decoder, and of course SPDIF input for this. Additionally, they have inputs for analog front and rear speakers signal. They can be switched to different operation modes : Dolby Digital decoding, Dolby ProLogic decoding, stereo, and quad modes. I have connected them to my Audigy 2 using analog connections, and also digital output. The problem is, that they process both kind of inputs (analog and digital) all the time in most modes simultaneously. For example, when I set them to "quad" mode (for gaming) they process analog signal that Audigy deli'vers them, but also they attempt to decode the signal from digital input. This produces some kind of phase distortions (basses dissappear and the sound becomes slightly muffled). Possible solutions could be : - disable digital decoding in speakers when using analog output from Audigy - this can't be done, these speakers' decoder is not configurable, - disconnect digital cable when using analog output from Audigy - obvious solution, however not very comfortable - disable "ON-DEMAND" spdif output on Audigy card and enable it when necessary. This would be most satisfying option for me. But.... is it possible at all ? Just something similar to the "Digital output only" setting in soundcard panel, but in my case i'd like to have an option of "Analog outputs only". Thanks in advance for any help Greetings, Martin

According to your description, my understanding is that you don’t want the yollow bar notification to display when you open Access documents.
This issue seems to be about the client application. Please compare the followings with the things that you did:
1.Open the documents
2.Click File->Options->Trust Center->Trust Center Settings
3.Click Protected View, unselect ‘Enable Protected View for originating from the Internet’
4.Click Message Bar, select ‘Never show information about blocked content’
5.Click Macro Settings, select ‘Disable all macros without notification’
In addition, as this issue is about Office, I commend you create a new thread in Office forum, more experts will assist you with this issue.

Audigy 2 value where is the option for digital output? Help

i have the creative inspire 5700 and the audigy 2 value but i cant find the checkbox for "digital output only"

That is not the problem however it is located in the speaker setup window and all it does is disable the line outs, digital is always turned on and cannot be turned off. I suggest you re-read the 5700 manual. Tell me which lights you have on.

Can I use the sub from my Gigaworks 700s with a receiver?

The Sub from this speaker setup with this receiver. Someone said I could purchase a 3.5mm to RCA adapter like this and it MIGHT be possible to connect the 3.5mm to the Subwoofer/Center input on the back of the subwoofer and then try both of the RCA's on the subwoofer output on the back of the receiver. One of the RCA's would be for that center speaker that I will now be hooking up via speaker wire and won't need it via 3.5mm/RCA, and the other RCA plug would be for the speaker, which would hopefully successfully output it from the receiver to the sub. Does anyone know if this could work?

I have the exact same charger, and have been using it without a problem with my new iPhone 4S this week. The wall charger from my Original iPhone 2G also charges it.

I've read a few things on here about getting my center channel to work, but no luck. I have Audigy ZS gamer and for speakers I have Klipsch ProMedia 5.
I've switched the sound panel in my control panel to 5., I've looked into the audio console as well in the EAX section s well as the CMSS 3D and still no luck. I've unplugged and replugged the wires as well. I know for a fact that it was working before I reinstalled Windows a few months back. I've done all the necessary driver updates as well. Any other changes or possible "buttons" somewhere?

CMSS 5.1 Analog on a Audigy Gamer, not possible b/c no analog center/sub outpu

Hi I have an Audigy Gamer there is outputs for only 2 analog stereo jacks ( Speaker Set , and speaker set 2) there is no third jack for the that last connector Sub/Center. What gives? I thought the Audigy was compatible with 5. systems? I guess they only mean ac-3 digital audio output huh. If this is the case, what is the cheapest SB card I can upgrade to with the standard 3 sets of analog jacks so that I can get proper full surround with the triple (Green/front pair, black/rear pair, black/center and sub) analog wires?

Well I have been trying to use the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 zs video editor to transfer Hi8 tapes from my camcorder (Samsung SLC860) to my laptop (Compaq presario, AMD Athlon 64 3200+, .25 GB RAM, xp). I have successfully done this before *sort of*. Before i was able to capture video from my camcorder without the sound. But now I cant even capture video! I get an error when using Ulead VideoStudio 8 SE reading: 5065:29:0. Please help, anything would be great! Thank you! Oh, i've tried reinstalling the drivers already, didnt work. P.S. I connect the camcorder to the Creative Audigy using S-Video. I have also tried A/V out from the camcorder to video-in on the Audigy. I have also downloaded VidCap and other driver updates from Creative but those didn't work either. I've tried VidCap other capture programs, none worked. Any help would be great. Thank you!

Hi there! Thanks for the reply, unfortunately, I've tried VidCap and it wont let me capture either. The Start button on Step 3 isn't acti've. Its not bold, and when i click on it nothing happens. But under device manager and Sound, Video and game controllers, there are alot of things. They are as followed: Audio Codecs, Legacy Audio Drivers, Legacy Video Capture Drivers, Media Control Devices, Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor Audio Device, Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor Video Device, SoundMAX Intergrated Digital Audio, Video Codecs. Do you think any of these could be interfering with one another? If so, which ones can be safely disabled? I've also tried downloading all the necessary updates for VidCap and I've even tried reinstalling the Audigy card many times. I am able to see the preview of the video on both programs VidCap and VideoStudio but I just can't capture. Once again, the error message on VideoStudio is: 5065:29:0. Thank you so much, hopefully I hear from ya soon and this can be fixed.

How to get Cost centers a below a cost center from hierarchy using ABAP

I am currently developing a user application wherin i need to give a dropdown help to the users for cost center field.
How ever I need to give him those cost centers in the help which are lower to the cost center to which he is assigned .
For example he is at department level which has cost center '90000' he should get the cost centers of the offices assigned to that department in the hierarchy .Also cost centers of various lower nodes which might have been assigned to these offices and so on so forth .
How can I get those cost centers which lie lower to a particular cost center in the hierarrchy using ABAP ..as I am in to BSP application and have access using ABAP.

usually there will be a hierarchy table where the cost center hierarchy is stored. see if you can find that table.
To go about the same , activate the datasource for cost center hierarchy from business content
Execute the datasource in RSA3
do a background SQL trace and you will find the necessary table for the same.
