No change triggered for assortment list IDOC

Dear all expert,
I'm facing a problem and below is issue reproduction steps.
1. Article 'A' listed to Assortment 'ASM01' which is assigned 3 sites as assortment users.
2. I executed WDBI for assortment list initialization. 3 IDOC files are generated successfully.
3. Now, I unassigned one of the site from the assortment ASM01.
4. I execute WDBU for assortment list IDOC change message. No IDOC is generated for this site.
Any idea?

Actually i'm newbie on SAP Retail and now looking at listing and assortment stuff. I've configured the Assortment List Profile with checkbox 'Deletions for Listing' selected. Below is the SAP help explanation:
"Indicator: Generate Deletion Records for Listing
When you set this indicator, special material header records, carrying the information from the store retail system about the deletion performed, can be sent during deletions of assortment assignments between plant and assortment or during physical deletions of listing conditions in the change version of the assortment list. In the IDoc, these materials are marked with the change indicator AENKZ = 'DELE' in segment E1WBB01."
So i wonder a IDOC file will be generated for the unassigned site with change indicator DELE for all articles listed to that site.

Pls. follow these steps.. for Sending the Tax Codes.
NOTE : Steps for Tax Code Flow to POS
Step 1 : MM42 - Basic Data - Check the following
               Tax Class - (With Value)
               Tax Data - (Country - CA, Tax Category - CTXJ Tax Jurisdiction, Tax Classification - 1 Taxable (0-Non Taxable, 1 Taxable Etc)). Taxs Relevant to Article Taxes.
Step 1.1 : MM42 - Basic Data - Check the following
                  Check for the Assortment List Type, Listing of Assortment to Site in Listing Tab, Price of Article.
Step 2 : WB02 - Customer Tab - Billing Sales Area - Tax Classification - (1-Liable for Taxes)
Tax code is pick up from Site - Address (Country, Region Combination of Site master to Assortment List)
Step 3 : VK11 - Condition Type - CTXJ
This Tax Condition should have a Combination records for Tax Codes in the List. (For Country / State / Customer Classification / Article Classification 1. The table should contain the records for 'CA' - (Canada, Region, Tax Class Cust, Tax Class Artic, Valid from, Valid To, Tax Code)
Step 4 : IMG -> Sales and distribution -> Basic Function -> Pricing -> Pricing Control -> Define and Assign Pricing Procedure -> Maintain pricing procedures (V/08)
               V/08 - Pricing - VKP001 - Sales Price Princing Branch will carry the Pricing Condition to Outbound Idoc WBBDLD.
               Solution : Changed the VKP001 Pricing procedure having the standard tax condition MWSI, this one changed to CTXJ which is of Canadian Tax Condition.
Step 5 : IMG -> Logistics General -> Assortment -> Assortment List -> Maintain Profile for Assortment List -> Selection the Assortment Type -> Check the Condition Type Group
Step 6 : IMG -> Sales and distribution -> Pos Interface -> POS Outbound -> Maintain POS Condition Type Group
               This table is by default Maintained with below Condition types
               MWSI - Output Tax
               MWST - Output Tax
               VKAO - Promo SP IS-R
               VKPO - Sales Price
               Add Additional Condition types which need to send to POS including the condition type of Tax.of Canada
               CTXJ - Tax Jurisdiction Code.
               KA02 - Promotional Discounts % 1
               KA04 - Promotional Discount MD 1

Assortment List IDoc : % Discount Promotion Condition Missing

Dear All,
We are working with in IS-Retail Assortment List IDoc for transferring article data to stores (SAP Triversity system). We are facing one problem while transferring the promotional discounts to the POS. We are able to transfer merchandise category level discounts using IDoc WPDREB, but when we go for transferring %discounts (Condition Type KA02) via Assortmnet List (WBBDLD.WBBDLD03) IDoc, it fails to generate the pricing condition (E1WBB07 and E1WBB08). However, we are able to populate the above mentioned segments while working with the condition types VKA0 (Special Price) and KA04 (Absolute Discount). Has anyone faced a problem like this before? Do we need to do any specific setting for %discount condition types?

Please open an customer message with your question on the IS-R-BD-RPC component.
Some one from SAP will take care about the issue. Ensure you have an open system and access data and an example.
I recommend to post the solution in forum after that.

New/Change Indicator for Sales Order IDoc

Hi Gurus,
Does anyone knows if there's a field in the IDoc Segment for ORDERS that shows or indicate if it's a new or changed order.
We are sending IDocs to our freight company for sales order, but we are trying to see if there's a way we can let them know if its a new or changed IDoc for sales order.
Is there any field for this or any work around on this?

Segment Field ACTION is not been changed. I've just tested it and made changes to the Sales Order, the ACTION field is still carrying "000".
Like thomas said, can this be because I'm using message type ORDRSP instead of ORDCHG?
Does this make any difference?

How to change layout for list display in background

Hi All,
I want to change layout for the list display of tcode fbl1n when i execute in background. is there anyway to select our own layout when i execute in background. When i execute in foreground we can change the layout by selecting change layout button, but how it possible when in backgroung, is there any way please let me know.

Hi,
Create a list variant by executing the program and changing the layout and saving..
Then use the "Layout" parameter in the selection screen and give the variant you created earlier...
Then while executing in background the list variant will be pickedup accordingly (given in the selection screen)..

POS outbound assortment list - deleted EAN's/delisted articles

hi All,
does anyone know whether it is possible to send a deletion indicator down to POS for the assortment list? IT seems that deleted EAN's trigger a change pointer but WBBDLD IDoc only contains the updated article details only. Also, when an article is delisted from a site, is it possible to send a deletion indicator as well?

in the assortment list customizing it is possible to activate sending of delisted articles.
Please check the the profile parameters.
SPRO -> Logistics - General -> Assortment -> Assortment List -> Maintain Profile for Assortment Lists
Here the flag
DELETION for LISTINGS
For details please look at documentation.
If you are using the HPR (High performance Retailing) Assortment list, this will be not possible. In this case you have to initialize the list. Deleted articles will not be a part.

While performing article assortment listing, on creation of new site thesystem is blocking other users from using the articles. We have been
informed that there is release note in SAP IS Retail version ECC 6.0,
where assortment listing can be done for a site without effecting article
transaction for other sites. Please furnish as with the release note
reference or an alternative suggestion.

If so, then what is the diffeerence between listing through assortmrent and listing through layout. Need to do listing through layout / layout module. How to do that with out creating assortment.
Is it possible I list through layout without entering assortmwnt in WLAMN.

POS assortment list - promotion price changes

Hi All,
does anyone know whether its possible to trigger change messages when a promotion price is deactivated? I tried deactivating a promotion for a specific article then executing the assortment list change message program to generate idoc but it resends the article without the promo price. I need to know the promo number that was associated with the article, is this possible?

Hi James,
The promotion articles, prices, and period are defined when the promotion is created. Depending on the type of promotion that is used, the prices for a price list or distribution chain are then activated. Depending on the activation type, the promotion price of the individual article is determined with or without the price list.
The promotion category is the same as the promotion type and is a classification characteristic in the information system. This allows promotions in the classification system to be indirectly classified according to promotion types. You must maintain precisely those promotion categories which you wish to create subsequently as promotion types. The text describing the type and category should be identical.

Change pointer triggers for one order type but not for other with LOIPRO

Hi all,
We have old production order type ZP01 since last 3 years. Idoc LOIPRO are triggered properly. Now we introduced new production order type ZP02, but idocs are not triggereing for these prod. orders. They both are production orders with different order types but same message type LOIPRO
I noticed that change pointers are not getting written to CDHDR and CDPOS for this new order type. For old order type they are getting written to CDHDR/CDPOS. Does any one know where is the issue in config.
Currently BD52 contains following entries for LOIPRO
ORDER-AFKO-AUFNR
ORDER-AFKO-KEY.

Idoc triggers when we save or change the PO. It depends on the message control settings in the partner profile. Check the message control settings.

Tracking the changes in HRP tables for sending thru IDOC

Hi ALL,
We are planning to send iDoc to another SAP system with HR Data from different HRP tables. HRP1000,HRP1001,HRP1005,HRP1008,HRP1013,HRP1050 etc
If we change any PA infotypes they are linked to pernr and we can easily track the changes but if there is any change in HRP tables how do we track the changes and send them thru idoc.

I am planning to use tocde PFAL for both inital loads and delta loads of HR data to other system .Can i get all the changes for HRP tables in PFAL without custom programming?
Let me explain with an example.
I changed the text for one of the org units and I can see the changes in HRP1000.but how will i send this data to another SAP system using PFAL ,how will i track those changes.
I heard that we can enable change pointers on each and every field in all the infotypes,so when i change the org unit text and it is one of the field in PA0001 of every employee a change pointer is triggered .is that true

'CHANGE' event not triggering for BTE 2214 on park/change from FBV1/FBV2

I have designed a workflow template for FI parking. If the parked document is rejected, i need to trigger FIPP 'CHANGE' event for sending workitem to approver when someone changes the parked document. In SWEL event trace, the 'CHANGE' event is not getting raised.
So i implemented a BTE 000002214 and now i am able to raise 'CHANGE' event and capture it in workflow. But this is only working when i park a document using FV50 transaction and later change it.
But when i park a document using FBV1 and then make changes from FBV2, the 'CHANGE' event is not being triggered in SWEL. Should i implement some other BTE like 2218 etc? Can you please help?

Hi Gokul,
You can try handling the SAVE event instead of the CHANGED event.
T-code FBV2 will not allow you to save the document unless you make some changes.
Try implementing BTE 2218 and revert.

Views for list web parts. Is there a way to allow users to change the view for a list web part without being redirected?

Hi,
I added a list view web part into a SharePoint 2013 page and it is working as expected, except for one thing.
I have enabled the option for the user to change the view for the web part. However when the user changes it, the user is redirected away from the page containing the web part, to the URL of the list itself.
Is there a way to circumvent this issue so when the user selects a different view it updates the listing in the web part itself, rather than the user being redirected?

Hi,
Please understand that one page can only display one view. You could find it out by observing the Address in browser when switching among different views for a list.
If you would like to change the view of a list web part, you could go to web part propertites > Select view and configure it.

IDOC trigger using Z change pointers for standard SAP table

For IDOC trigger, is using custom change pointers on standard SAP master data tables, a good idea? A seasoned abaper told me "it will mess with the standard" and further told to go with scheduled job.
So, for example, say that my data for table T001K is updated via transports in PRD and I need to transfer this updated data via IDOC to an external system. Since there is no standard message type for this data, I will create a new one. Further, I will create a new change pointer for table T001K (it already has six fields with their data elements activated for Change Documents). Then I link the message type and the new change pointer. And so on an so forth. I have followed the procedure given here:SAP Tips: A to Z of Custom Change Pointer
Now, the question is, will this be a good idea to capture data and trigger IDOC? Or a batch program with calls to standard FM to read CDHRD/CDPOS be a more suitable option.
I need to know if a near instantaneous data transfer (and an effecient one as far as the system performance and reliability is concerned) can be acheived. If there is any other way of doing this, I am not aware of it!
Any one has any input/experience on this?

I think the batch program approach would be a good solution as the by this way you are taking matter into your own hands rather giving control to the SAP framework because you may have to test out the other approach as to how the standard SAP framework is behaving for custom change pointers.

Of course You can also add your iPhone telephone # as a trusted device.
This way when you insert your SIM card into any phone, Apple will automatically recognize your cell phone # as a
trusted device (may be handy if iphone breaks but you insert SIM card into another phone).
HOWEVER:
Having also your iPhone as a trusted device, is convenient if you travel and use a different SIM card
at destination. This way you can still use the iphone for verification, even though you are using a different
phone #.
