iPad has a 1.2 megapixel camera on the rear and a .7 megapixel front facing camera. In contrast, iPhone 4 has a 5 megapixel camera. ipad's camera was not really designed to take really clear pictures. It was designed to permit decent facetime conversations. With that said, in very bright light, I have gotten a semi-decent picture. In less than very bright light, the quality of pictures leaves much to be desired. But, I knew the quality of the cameras in advance, and when I want to take photo quality pictures, I use my Nikon D5100 DLSR.

I am trying to email pictures from my ipad to my email address on my computer and I have been going along nice but now I get a message that says "cannot send mail the message was rejected by the server" can't see to figure out why it stopped sending now.

I have been emailing pictures from my ipad to my computer and have been going along nicely and now when I went to send 5 pictures to my computer from my ipad I am getting a message that says " cannot send mail The message was rejected by the server" cannot understand why this is happening and have not been able to fix. Now when I try to send pictues even to another email address I am getting the same message.

Our Iphone 4S is full of pictures which transferred to my Ipad through Icloud. Everytime I delete pictures on my iphone it deletes the pictures on my ipad. We are using my iphone as a camera. We are in Croatia and it is hard to find someone to answer

We are in Croatia and are having trouble getting help for our problem. We have an Ipad and an Iphone 4S. I have been using the Iphone as a camera. The icloud has been transferring pictures to the ipad. Now, my iphone is full of pictures (180) and if I delete a picture, it disappears from my ipad as well. We need some advice as to how we can save the pictures in the ipad - maybe to another file? And then be able to delete the pictures from my Iphone without deleting them from the Ipad. Or, if that is impossible. What accessories should I look for so that I can download pictures on a device, then delete my pictures from the iphone and start all over again. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks from 2 very confused people.

If you have photos in your Photo Stream that you want to save to your iPad, you can save them to your Camera Roll using this method:
Manage My Photo Stream contents. In the My Photo Stream album, tap Select.
Share, print, copy, or save photos to your Camera Roll album: Select the photos, then tap .

Currently what we did is we create a common login function. Inside this function,
we declare a local InitialContext variable and initiate the variable by passing
in userid and password. After this program finished, the InitialContext object
will be removed by java garbage collection.
Our login function (JSP or Servlet) will trigger this common function to login
a particular user. Then the function will create other InitialContext object without
passing in any parameter. This InitialContext object will be cached in a class’
static variable. The rest of function will use this object to look EJBs. For getting
the best performance, we also cache the remote home interface for stateless Session
EJB and catch home interface for Entity EJB.
In one of our EJB function, we want to get current login user id. We use sessionContext.getCallerPrincipal()
to get current login user id from WebLogic Realm. This is working fine in our
in-house environment. But when we deploy our product into other project environment,
it doesn’t work. The error scenario is
User A login first, everything working fine. After that user A logout and User
B login using the same browser. Then the getCallerPrincipal always return UserA.
We try a lot of different way, but still cannot resolve this problem.
Is it because we cached InitialContext or EJB interface? I hope some body can
give me a clear picture on how the Web tier and EJB tier is linked by WebLogic;

Yes, it's because you cache the InitialContext. You need to refresh the context with
the current user's principal+credentials on each HTTP request.

To copy photos to your computer that were taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page - on a PC you can use the windows camera wizard
To copy photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app on your iPad such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.

Authorize your new computer's iTunes first - Store>Authorize this computer.
1) Without connecting your iPad to your laptop, start iTunes. Click on Edit. Click on Preferences. Click on Devices. Check the box next to "Prevent your iPod etc. from automatically syncing." Click OK.
2) Now connect your iPad to your laptop and start iTunes.
3) When iTunes starts, right click on your iPad under Devices in the left column. Select Transfer purchases etc.
4) After it finishes transferring all your apps to your new laptop, right click on your iPad and select Backup your iPad.
5) After it finishes backing up your iPad, right click on your iPad and select Restore etc.
6) After it finishes restoring, left click on your iPad , then click on the Apps tab on top, and check the box next to Sync Apps, then click on Apply below.
If everything on your iPad looks good after the sync, go back and click on Edit / Preferences / Devices and UN-check the box next to Prevent your iPod etc. The only other thing you may want to check is if your contacts, bookmarks, etc. are syncing correctly now. If not, go to the Info tab after connecting and make sure you indicate which features you want to sync with what sources.

The cameras on the iPad 2 are low resolution (about 1 meg each) and are mainly for things like FaceTime and Skype video calls - unless you are in very good light you are unlikely to get acceptable photos from the iPad, you would be better off using a compact camera or you phone's camera.
