No confirmati​on email + twice the charge?

Yesterday I wanted to place an order for Lenovo y50 laptop. The total cost was coming out to be approx. $1000, I clicked pay with debit card and had it shipped/billed to a friend's address in the US (I'm currently living in the UK) and when I finished filling all the details I clicked checkout and the page refreshed and nothing happened. There was no confirmation page, no page that told me the order had been placed. I asked my friend to check his email and no confirmation email was sent either. So I check my bank account and $2000 (in GBP) was gone. There was nothing on the transactions list and 'last night's balance' was what it should be and 'current balance' was $2000 less (which is 2x the worth of the laptop I was intending to buy). I know that there is a 3% charge from my debit card provider for abroad purchases. I had a read through the forums and noticed other people also had a similar issue regarding the no confirmation emails/page and I just want to know what's actually happening. Is there a laptop being delivered? Are there two laptops being delivered? If only one laptop is being delivered then why have I been charged two times as much?

Like you, I count on excellent communication from the retailers where I shop. I even keep the confirmation emails and shipping notices filed until my order arrives! I'm sorry to hear that you didn't receive the confirmation email you were expecting after your order was placed.

    then add 30 days to today (save in variable datum)

    then delete current item

    Per my understanding, a custom SharePoint Designer workflow send an email twice when there is only one send email action in it.
    A possible reason is that the workflow has been triggered twice. Sometimes, due to the performance issue of the SharePoint Server, even after a workflow instance is
    finished, the item submitting is still during processing which triggers another workflow instance and send the second email again.
    As a workaround, you can add one step at the end of your workflow to pause the workflow for a few minutes for a test.

  • My ibook keeps shutting down completely with the date to reverting back to 1969.  i restart only after i plug in charger it lets me, then change date and save.  the next time i use same thing happens, safari, iphoto, email are the only ones i have used.

    The iBook does not have a backup (PRAM) battery. It only has the main battery and a small capacitor which maintains the settings long enough to do a battery swap. If the battery is dead, what you are seeing can happen.
    If the battery is not a problem (or even if it is), you could try resetting the PMU and see if that helps.

    I'm afraid the language translation program you used has let you down.  Can you rephrase your question (assuming you can understand me).

    When you sort the Album in iphoto are you sorting manually? Or by date of the photos?
    When you sort in the Finder how are are you sorting?
    Here's one way to do what you're trying to do:
    Create your Album and sort the pics as you want them. Then Photos Menu: Batch Change -> Set Title to Text "John's Birthday", for instance, and tick the box to append a number to each Photo. Now your photos are titled 'John's Birthday 001, John's Birthday 002 ... etc'
    Then File -> Export and in the Export dialogue set the Filename to "Use Title"
    Sort on Filename in the Finder and you end up with a folder full of images in the same order as the Album in iPhoto.

    I just bought and used my apple tv. I tried renting a movie but was asked to go to my itunes to verify my info. In the  process, I ended up renting the movie 2x and had to accept to be able to get the PLAY button to pop up on the screen. I watched to movie but do not want to be charged 2x for rental.

  • I recently installed download helper but it took 2 attempts. I had to buy the conversion licence twice. How do I get 1 of the charges canceled?

    Just bought a new computer. Had Download helper on it and wanted to add the conversion license. I had to go through the process 2 times for it to work and was charged 2 times. How do I get one of the charges canceled. I did go through PayPal.

    You need to contact the developer and explain to him what happened.
    There is usually no need to convert video files. There are lots of players that can play the files directly, so unless you really need to recode the file in another format then it shouldn't be necessary.

  • I keep getting the same emails twice, after I've deleted from device and read on desktop!

    While at work, I usually read my email on my computer, but I still get them on my BB, which I delete right away. However, even after it's already been read on my computer and deleted from my Curve, I end up with another alert for the same email, and the email as unread in my Curve inbox.
    How can I make that STOP? I don't need to be told more than once that I have a new email, and even less so if I've already read it!

    do you have redirector installed (in DTM is there an email settings icon)

    Since I set up the Redirector for the BB Storm Outlook will randomly get some emails twice.  They will show up twice on the computer, but not on the BB.  There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it, any idea how to fix this?  TIA

    First, ATT will transfer you to RIM if you need bumped up the tech support chain, for free. Otherwise RIM will charge you a fee for the support.

    I had only pressed the purchase button once to purchase a gift for my sister and i sent it to her email. on the bill however it shows up twice and it charged me twice. how can i get my money back? i called up the apple phone service and waited 20 minutes and no one answered so i got tired of it and hung up.

    Go to your purchase history and click "report a problem", the report the problem.
    They will e-mail you back in a day or so, likely solving your issue.
