  • How to edit an online order that I placed using guest check out

    I stupidly hit guest check out when placing an online order, and despite using an email address that was registered to my apple account the order is not associated with my account. So now there is a problem with the payment because my bank asked me to confirm such a large transaction, and apple wants me to update the payment info which immediately takes me to an apple account log in screen which since I used guest check out logging in just brings me to a screen that says this account doesn't have access to this order. So I can't edit the order that apple is requesting me to order because I used guest check out. I don't want to cancel the order because it will delay receiving my phone by nearly a month!!! AAAAGGGHHH!!! Any suggestions??

    Try calling the phone number in guest checkout in this article. I'd expect a delay.

    Confirmation emails from Skype  - why are they in Chinese when sent to my email. This always looks dodgy to me can skype explain this , I just activated a voucher for buying a Nokia 930 and a 3 month  world call offer, sorted this on my mobile via wifi on the train too work,

    As you recall your account was hijacked earlier this year and during that time some orders were made which we refunded. We are currently using the language that was used on the Skype account website while the last order was placed.   • June 23 Delivery Confirmation Email from Apple

    Anyone else get one of these surprises in your inbox? I got two - one for each phone ordered!
    Looks like one is already at the local fed ex facility in my home town, and the other is in Calidornia. They both arrived in Cali at the same time, but only one made it out last night.
    So if all goes well - two new iPhones tomorrow
    Could this early delivery be meant to kill the new Droid buzz?

  • Unable to switch to trunk from branch checked out with CVS

    Help!
    We've run into a can't get there from here issue of not being able to switch back to the trunk when we've checked out a branch from CVS.
    Using JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.1.0
    Scenario:
    Working on maintained in CVS.
    Create Branch on code B1. (Versioning -> Branch, Branch Name = "B1", Source = "Trunk")
    Now we can't get back to the trunk. When you select switch branch it only shows HEAD. Select that and you end up on some IDE generated tag called "HEAD", where you can't add files or check in changes.
    How can you get back to the trunk?

    Are you aware that "always view this page in IE" isn't a standard feature in Firefox? It's a feature of a Firefox extension, which is why you can't find it on a Firefox help page.
    Check the download page for that particular extension to find out how to change that preference, or tell us which extension that is and we'll look for a FAQ page for that extension.

  • Google Crome is not loading scripts from my check out page

    Your calling for an alement that does not exist here thus you have a script error. Wrap that call in a condition where it checks if the element exists first before it runs.
    Secondly your calling scripts incorectly.
    All you need to do is set the source as ..
    src="/yourfolder/youfile.file"
    So everything starts with just a slash, no absolute url or ../
    This will address other issues.
    Do these and see how you are and then post if there are other issues

    My contact list was hacked? Received a email from relative, but when I opened it,it wasn't from him but an advertisement , I changed my password to that email account, anything else I should do? Not really sure how it happened. Thanks for any help.

    While he should probably change his password just to be on the safe side, it's unlikely he's actually been hacked. It's a common spammers' practice to forge the 'From' address on a spam email so that any bounced or attempts to contact go to an oinicent party. It's very easy to do and while it's annoying it's harmless (except that it worries recipients who know the person involved). He may very well get bounced messages he hasn't sent as a result.
    There isn't really anything he can do about it - it will stop after a bit as the spammers move on to another victim's address.

    When I try to sign in to my account which doesn’t exist apparently I get this

    All I want to do is get back to my news groups. If it’s too difficult to be positive and helpful, say so and I’ll drop the issue and uninstall Thunderbird and Firefox.

  • HT201077 Why is my photo stream invite email to my friends and confirm email from Apple to me in Japanese?

    Hello,
    Has anyone experienced the same trouble? When I send invites to my family and friends to my photo stream albums, some invites are sent in Japanese. And I get the comfirmation message, telling me that my friend has accepted my invite to view my photo stream, from Apple also in Japanese.
    Please let me know how to fix this. FYI, my Apple account is registered in Korea, and my language setting is in English for both my iPad and iPhone and Mac. I've checked my language setting in iCloud as well. It's set to English.

    I had the same problem. I think it must be caused by the fact that i bought a charger in Apple Store Tokyo, and then entered my email address on the warranty form. Ever since emails in Japanese started appearing. When I now enabled Shared Photo Streams, my friends got invitations from me in Japanese too.
    I was looking everywhere for language settings, but they all seemed in order. On iCloud that is.
    It turns out it was the language settings on my apple-ID, not my iCloud-ID that was wrong, after a purchase at Apple Store Tokyo. Who would have thought that these two IDs were related? Or maybe they should be, but then why are they not even more integrated? Duplicate language settings?
    This solved the problem:
    1. Log into appleid.apple.com
    2. Set the language.
    The real problem however, is that Apple changed my language after a visit to an Apple Store. Come on! I already had a Norwegian apple-ID, a Norwegian credit card, and a Norwegian address. What could possibly make you think that I suddenly spoke Japanese? Ever happened that a tourist visited an Apple Store? Companies needs to learn that customers can make their own decisions, and often do, or want to do it, if they are allowed to do so. Examples of features that was designed not considering this fact: The play button on a Mac always launching iTunes, even though I'm already playing music in Spotify (and never use iTunes for music). Or Spotifys obsession with reporting everything you listen to, turning off the Private Session after 6 hours, so you have to make that setting every time you start playing music.

    The Apple ID Security site allows written contact in your own country and language.  The AppleCare support phone number from http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57 and Account Security Team is for a number in your country and language.

  • Confirmation email from itunes

    Hi All
    Recently I signed up in APPLE ID, I entered my GMAIL account to sign up for APPLE ID. later, when I checked my account " e-mail ", I didn't receive any " WELCOME E-MAIL " confirmation from apple. After that I went to myinfo.apple.com, changed some information and preferences and I RECEIVE and e-mail from apple with the password change.
    SO, is that normal, or is it not working because it's a gmail e-mail that I logged on with or is it something else.

    Thanks for the answer, but i double check my junk mail; and nothing.... right now i can't login on itunes for this reason. when i try the app return 'the i need to confirm my regitster' i give me an option to re-send confirmation and i click on re-send buttons but still with the same.

  • I cannot get a confirmation email from apple regarding my recent pass word change

    cannot log into I cloud despite changing password

    I completely understand that it's my responsibility to back up my data but I have it set to every 2nd month, not on a weekly or daily basis to back up the data.
    Apple might not be in data recovery business but could they not acquire a third party to do this?
    This is what happened:
    It was on sleep overnight and when I tried waking it, it was lagging badly. So I shut it down and restarted it. I phoned into techincal support to find out whats wrong, but they were giving me advice to reset the params etc. But i think it made it worse because it didnt want to get passed the white start up screen.
    So I phoned back to ask if it's a usual issue with my version of iMac and the man replied that it isn't common and that I should run the disk utility to check the hard drives health.
    I installed Mountain Lion on a USB and started the disk utility. Then it highlighted in red that it's a hardware fault and cannot be repaired by the disk utility. Therefore the hard drive has a serious fault with it.
    That's when I Google'd for a replacement drive and came across the program. The techincal guy didn't even tell me about it or anything.
    If I knew about this sooner, I would have taken it in for a replacement.

  • How do you stop an email from continually being recovered that has completely stopped any new mail from being received?

    In trying to send an oversized video via email (exceeded 25 MG) size limit, I got an error message. I thought I deleted the email. However, whenever email is open, the message continually gets recovered, blocking any email from being recieved. I am able to create and send emails. Internet checks out ok. Using AOL.iMap. It seems that I am not able to interrupt the continual attempts to send the original email.

I went to Email Preferences, Advanced, and selected "Dont't keep copies of any messages" on the pull down of Keep copies of messages for offline viewing:, saved changes and problem solved. Thanks,
