Hey,
Plug the iPhone directly into the MBA. If your going to use a hub make sure it's a powered hub, the hub itself should have it's own power cord. If it's powered by the USB port then your going to have issues.

Personal Hotspot not working between iPad Mini and iPhone 6 Plus

The personal hotspot function between my iPad Mini and iPhone 5C worked perfectly.
I am now using an iPhone 6 Plus with the same iPad Mini and cannot establish a connection at all.
Bluetooth and Wifi are enabled on both devices and the iPad says it has found my phone, displays the signal strength, 4G, battery remaining and 2 linked circles.
When I choose that hotspot it tries to connect then just keeps saying "Remote Hotspot Failure. Unable to start Personal Hotspot. Stuart's iPhone 6Plus"

Safari icloud tabs not working between ipad mini and iPhone 5

I have an ipad mini an iMac a MacBook Pro and an iPhone 5. All running the latest operating systems. The ipad mini and iPhone 5 can't see each others open I cloud tabs in safari. Anyone know why? Private browsing is off on the devices. Thanks.

I'm trying to connect ipnone 3 and MACBook Pro through bluetooth for photo transfer...but unable to recongnise, please advise?

This is not a feature of iphone. Never has been.
Other than tethering for internet, where provided by the carrier, you cannot connect to a computer/device/phone and do anything.
Bluetooth is for handsfree telephone devices/headsets, stereo speakers/headsets, some keyboards, some peer to peer apps from the app store and tethering where provided by the carrier.

Handoff issues between ipad air and iphone 5

Hello everybody!
I have tried to recieve my calls on my ipad, but it doesn't work. In the other way I can call from my ipad using the iphone...
The other handoff's feature that allow continue the email or safari works perfectly. So only fail recieve the calls in the ipad.
I have reset network settings and I turn off and on again handoff and the option in facetime to use the iphone for this but nothing changed. Of course I have wifi and bluetooth on, and I'm in the same network.
I hope that somebody can tell me what to do...

Ok, finally I fix the problem myself.
You need to remove the icloud account and then put it back.

AirDrop for OS X works over Wi-Fi, and AirDrop for iOS works over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so they use different systems.
This means that you cannot use AirDrop to transfer files between an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and a Mac. Instead, you can only use AirDrop on your iPhone to transfer files to other iPhones, iPads and iPods touch, and AirDrop on your Mac to transfer files to other Macs

Email sync problem between iPad Air and iPhone 6+

Hello,
I have a user that travels quite a bit. We use Office 365 Enterprise
for our emails. He is reporting email sync issues between iPhone and iPad. Meaning
sometimes he will receive emails on the iPhone but not on the iPad or vice versa.
Both devices use the same AT&T network. Does anyone out there have any
suggestions as to what may be causing the sync problem between devices? I am
not sure if the devices ever have the same emails on the inbox. Does this make
sense? I will be happy to provide any other information if needed.

IMessage between iPad (wifi) and iPhone 4

I have an iPad 2 that runs only on wifi. My dad just bought an iPhone 4 from AT&T. I know that if I use iMessage I do not have any charges. However, what charges or data usage would he have if he is on the AT&T network? If he is using wifi is there are cost or data usage?

There is only one quirk in case like that. PEBCAK. You are giving them incorrect information. We can safely assume you don't do it on purpose, but you are doing that nevertheless. Now you started giving it to me. Good luck. Or check everything again.
Same place-good network? - same account? - events go to www.icloud.com from iphon? ipad?
computer? And so on. I do not care what is incorrect - you do. I personally prefer if you check yourself by yourself.

IMessage not synching between Macbook Pro and iPhone (iOS7) since iOS upgrade.

The oddest thing happened.
I received a text message from a contact who uses an iPhone (I don't know whether he uses iOS7).
I received the text on my phone. I then began a full conversation through "iMessage" on my phone.
Then I opened my computer to check something and his next text message popped up on my computer in "Messages".
When I went back to my phone, I noticed that EVERY single speech bubble from his side of the conversation was missing. On top of that, the next text that I wrote back to him on my iPhone didn't copy over to Messages on my computer.
What gives?
My text conversations always used to be cloned on both devices. And the other person's side of the coversation has never been stolen before.

Associate your mobile number with your Apple ID, if you haven't already done so:
Apple - My Apple ID
Sign out of iMessage on the Mac:
Messages ▹ Preferences ▹ Accounts ▹ Sign out
Sign out on the iPhone
Settings ▹ Messages ▹ Send & Receive ▹ Apple ID ▹ Sign out
Then, on the phone, tap Use Your Apple ID for iMessage.
Sign back into iMessage on both devices and test.

HT3819 I can home share photos between iPad, itouch and iPhone but not videos filmed on any device, can anyone help please?

How do I share a video taken on iPhone or itouch with the iPad? Pictures work via photo stream but videos don't?.

The videos don't share because they are just too big. Most videos are dozens to hundreds of megs and don't transfer well, so they don't transfer at all.
You'd have to maually do it, either via the syncing computer or using a service like Dropbox, where you upload then download them. (personally I'd stick to local, uploading and downloading hundreds of megs will take time)

How do I sync photos between iPad 2 and iPhone 4s?

I have iCloud enabled on both, yet the photos are NOT in sync. And apparently I cannot Bluetooth the two together?? Any suggestions on syncing these two for file sharing or better yet... Getting iCloud to hold/make accessible?

Photostream works really good for me. take a pic on one device and, as soon as the other is on wireless, it goes to the other one

I understand your calls aren't being transferred between devices.
Check out the troubleshooting in this article.
Get help using Continuity with iOS 8
If a call doesn't transfer to your other devices, or you don't see the Handoff icons
Make sure that your devices are using iOS 8 or later by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
Check your settings:
Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and turn on Wi-Fi if necessary.
Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn on Bluetooth if necessary.
Make sure your iOS devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network by going to Settings > Wi-Fi and comparing the name of the network each is on.
Go to Settings > General > Handoff & Suggested Apps and turn on Handoff.
Go to Settings > Phone and turn off Wi-Fi Calling.

Can I seamlessly toggle Apple TV between Mac Mini and Iphone / iPad?

I am having a Mac Mini, iPad, iPhone and Apple TV. Currently i am using 2 HDMI cables 1 between TV and Mac Mini and 2nd between TV and Apple TV. Seems like If i toggle between iPad / iPhone display via apple TV and Mac Mini display via apple TV; it becomes an issue.

Toggle how? What are you doing? Why do you have the MacMini connected to the TV? That is the whole point of AppleTV. It is a simple way ( in therory ) to get your content to your TV without having to plug your computer in to your TV.
