No connection with Adobe Revel

When I want to log in Adobe Revel through Photoshop Elements 12 Organizer, I get an error:
"There is an arror with the serverconnection. Check your internetconnection and try again."
But what I am doing, nothing will work.
When I log in through the site of Adobe Revel, there is no problem.
I'm using Windows 8.

I have found the solution in this forum:
disconnect Norton 360 antivirus before sign in!

  • PSE 12 - Cannot connect with Adobe

    I cannot connect with Adobe through PSE12.  The first time the message told me Help did not install and to uninstall and reinstall, which I did today.  I still cannot connect; yet, I was able to register the serial numbers for both elements and premiere. 
    In trying resolve the problem, I got another message that indicates there is no internet connection.  I have analyzed the install log and nothing there indicates an error in installation.

    I cannot uninstall AAM. Because i can't find it in "Deinstallation Tool" of Win8. It is not listes. There is only Adobe Flash Player listed.
    I removed AAM via adobe cleaner tool. And installed it again.  And this helped not too.
    Any ideas how i can solve the problem?

    I hope these windows illustrate what I am facing.
    The above window shows the prompt that the software requires activation.
    The version is 8.1.0.
    This next window is the point where I select activation by phone.
    This final window shows that the "response code" is not returned.  I get an
    "Activation Number" instead.

    From your question, you appear to be working with Premiere Elements 12. On what computer operating system are you running Premiere Elements 12, and have you updated from 12 to 12.1 yet. Please see the opened project's Help Menu/Update.
    When you say share a video with Adobe Revel, are you referring specifically to taking your Premiere Elements 12 Timeline content through its Publish+Share/Private Web Album export choice or to some aspects of Adobe Revel in the Elements Organizer 12 that comes with Premiere Elements 12?

    The first version of Elements that has connectivity with Revel is Elements 11. If you have other files you wish to upload, you can locate them on your hard drive and upload them from there to Revel.

  • Do you have experience with Adobe Revel moving files from an iMac to the "cloud"?

    Over the past few months, Adobe has been moving photo files from personal MACs into their cloud space (Adobe Revel).  They have just hit my computer this weekend.  Is there a way using the Apple operating system to find out the names of the files Adobe moved?

    I can tell you with certainty that for documents of any kind "GoodReader" is an excellent app. It will let you connect to your mac via wi-fi. It mounts it as an external drive and you can create folders and drag files to the folders.
    I haven't tried dragging any movies or music but there wouldn't be anything to stop you from doing so. There is also a file management component to the app that lets you choose an "Open with ... " type of dialog and open a file with pages if it is a .doc file, or GoodReader can open pdf, doc, xls and many other doc types.
    Very happy with this .99 cent app. I agree with the other question though. If I rip a dvd, I use handbrake to convert to mp4 and add to my iTunes - then sync as per normal.

    Hi. i subscribed Creative Cloud 3 days ago and have problems with downloading apps.
    I cannot login with Adobe Apliation Manager. When i type my AdobeID and my Passowrd and hit login, AAM says, "that it cannot connect to adobe. I should check my internet-connection...".
    My Internet-Connection is active.
    I turned off my firewall. And its not working too. The problem cannot my hosts file (only 127.0.0.1 localhost included).
    My System: Win8 64
    Any ideas, why i can't login to adobe with my accountdata? With the same data i can login to creative cloud webpage.

  • Problem with adobe revel

    i cant upload some photo albums onto my adobe revel account. I have a subscription. I might have accidently uploaded them previously, but I deleted them. Now when i try to upload them again, nothing happens. The bar shows its uploading photos, but actually after all the exercise is over, the folder/album is still empty.

    It sounds like you may have deleted them from an album, but when you do that, they remain in the library unless you specifically delete  them from there. You may find that if you search the library, you can  find and select the photos to add them into an album.

  • Can anyone help with Adobe Revel Question?

    Hi Guys I was setting up Revel and in set up it asked me to select which files i wanted to see on my smart phone and I selected all the files.  I now have changed my mind and I want to be able to select the files.  However I cant see where the heck to change it.  Any help very much appreciated

    No issues. To change your option, click 'Edit->Preferences->Online account/Revel' and uncheck the option 'Automatically access all my catalog media in Online account'. This will set your Revel account to upload files selectively/manually.
    Please note that all files present in catalog till this option was checked will be uploaded to Revel. This setting will only hold good for file to be imported. Please let me know if you need more info here.

    Help. I just found over 6000 photographs in my "mobile library" on AE 12. That means there are 6000 pics on Revel.  I can't find any expeditious way to delete them. 
    Also, two programs, ElementsAutoAnalyzer.exe and ElementsOrganizerRevelAgent.exe are running constantly, taking half or more of my computer's resources.  I can't seem to stop them any way I try.  What are they doing; how can I stop them?

    You should be able to delete the library in the organizer preferences, or you can select the photos, right click one and choose to delete them that way. You can stop the Revel agent best in the organizer preferences by moving the slider to off, but if you can't do that, you can also do it from the system tray/notifications area by clicking the icon:
    One of the annoyances in PSE 12 is that the autoanalyzer runs all the time even if you turn off everything. First go to the organizer preferences>media analysis and turn off everything there, then you should be able to kill in it in Task Manager.
