NO CONNECTIVITY THRU USB CABLE - 6680 AND 6131

HI FRIENDS, I VE BEEN USING 6680 WITH USB CABLE TO CONNECT TO MY PC (WINDOWS XP, SP2)WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. RECENTLY, WHEN I TRIED TO CONNECT MY NEW 6131 THRU USB CABLE, PC SUITE COULDN'T RECOGNISE THE DEVICE. I TRIED INSTALLING THE DRIVERS. THEN I KNEW I REALLY MESSED IT UP. NOW BOTH 6680 AND 6131 ARE NOT RECOGNIZED BY PC SUITE. EVEN THOUGH THE PHONES SHOW USB ICON (CONNECTED) AND MY PC RESPONDS WITH A BLING!, PC SUITE SHOWS 'NO PHONES CONNECTED'. DEVICE MANAGER SHOWS ALL USB PORTS WORKING PROPERLY. WHEN 6131 IS CONNECTED, PC RECOGNIZES IT AS A USB DEVICE, AND OPENS THE FOLDERS. SINCE PC SUITE DOESN'T CONNECT, I AM UNABLE TO INSTALL APPLICATIONS OR ANY OTHER THING. CAN U PL HELP.

What type of wireless-router do you have? Who is your ISP and what type of connection do you have (ADSL, DSL, Cable, FIOS, etc).
Next, if you have a wireless laptop available (or one you can borrow), please download our Network Diagnostic Utility located here. Select "Show Advanced Tools" and then select "Display Detected Wireless Networks". Tell me the names (SSID), signal quality and channel numbers for all of the detected networks. Also, tell me which one is yours.
Finally, let's try resetting the printer. Turn the printer off and then unplug the power supply. Then while pressing and holding the # the 6 keys, plug in the printer power. Hold the keys for 10 seconds then release. After the printer initializes, see if you can connect wirelessly to your router using the printer's front panel wireless setup wizard (press setup, select network then wireless setup wizard).

I found this advice on another site:
"You will need to install drivers for your usb serial adapter, A good way to find which drivers to install (if u dont have them) is to click the apple Icon on the top left, 'about this mac'then click the 'More Info' on the window which appears, then look for USB devices.
Your serial adapter should appear as a usb device, THen google for the os x usb drivers for the chipset/adapter, or contact your vendor/look on sourceforge for it."
I don't know if that's the problem, but you should have gotten a driver disc with the converter cable. The one I just received for a pc client has a CD that says it's for Windows and Mac.
One problem though, the disc is a mini-cd. Not great for slot loading drives, and the driver says Mac 10.1 - 10.3.3. Maybe that's when they made the cable, but I wouldn't be very surprised if it didn't work with Leopard. It's going on a PC so I won't have to worry about it for now.
Side note about these cables - I have another client who wanted to control his ham radio gear from a Mac running WinXP on Parallels. It wouldn't work in WinXP until I removed the driver from the Mac side. Windows kept complaining that the device was already under control by another program - it meant Mac OS. I'm not sure how I would have been able to make the device work both ways, but luckily, didn't have to find out.

That is probably a lot of stuff you do not want on your iPhone. So this can be handled a few different was. For you current situation, you can delete the apps directly on your iPhone by holding on the app until it starts to jiggle and then tap on the X of all the apps that you do not want. The second thing you can do is before you sync with iTunes, look at the app section on your iPhone to know what gets transfer to it and you can deselect items that you do not want. Lastly, if you download content on your iPad and it is a universal app, you can actually download it directly to your iPhone by looking at your past purchases and download it directly from the App Store. I have downloaded the latest UFR II driver. (UK Version)
I am trying to connect to the printer but the printer is not appearing in my Print/Fax Preferences.
When I click the box "More Printers" under the Default printer the drop down box gives me a heading "Canon IPv6 (UFRII) with the option to add or cancel. (The add is highlighted). But there are no printers showing in the box. Nothing. Can anyone help?
Is there a problem with my Mac setup or maybe a setting in my printer?

It is either an erased iPod or an iPod that has a problem. The screen is telling you to connect the iPod to your computer via the USB cable and restore via iTunes. For how to restore see:

Internet Connection thru USB /N95 8GB

I have just got the N95 8GB and loaded the software etc. It will not connect to the internet, error msg says no modem detected.
I had a similar problem with the previous N95 in the months leading up to my upgrade. After using it to connect to the net many times it failed to work and said no modem detected.

When you've connected your usb cable & phone, go to device manager of XP/Vista & check if there is Nokia modem installed or its yellow or red. From there you'll know if the nokia moden driver is properly installed. When you click it will tell working properly. You might have MS OS problem, try it in other PC/Laptop.

Have you tried plugging the iPod in with a different USB sync cable to verify the issue is not with the cable? It might not also hurt to connect it to another USB port as well.
Otherwise, try manually placing the iPod into Disk Mode and then connecting it to your PC.

After I updated to OSX 10.7.4 Lion (Default 64bit).I try to use the touch panel device that I using before. But it keeping occur system freeze when I connect the usb cable.
Sometime I can operate it normal but the percentage is very low.
What 's the problem on?

Could be a bad cable or the device isn't compatible with Lion and it is causing problems.

it only happens when i use an apple cable. It has no problem with my external drive nor with other things.
Ps. i did use different apple cables and they all shut it down.

Hi Zenjoo, thanks for posting! The PIXMA MX892 can be plugged into the computer via a standard USB printer cable, as well as be connected wirelessly. Please note that the printer does not come with a USB cable, you will be required to use the cable off your old printer, or supply your own. We hope this helps!

When I try to connect a USB cable a message appears on the screen saying that one or more USB devices are consuming to much energy and due to this the USB port were deactivated.
What should I do to solve this problem?
Do not forget is only a merely USB cable from a texas calculator, I have experienced to with an USB extension, and the same problem appears, I have tried to connect directly a USB memory stick and the IMAC do not recognise is presence, or appears thesame mesage as with the cable.

Updated information:
I have perfomed as rkaufmann87 instruct me but without any success.
Then I made some more tests:
I have tried to connect three diferent types (Ipad usb cable; TI-Nspire CX CAS usb cable and an ordinary extension usb cable) of usb connectors cables and all of them with the same behaviour.
Viewing the IMAC from backside and looking to the usb ports from the left to the rigth the behaviour of the USB ports are diferent.
the two first more to the left when we try to connect a USB cable, a message appears on the screen, sayng that USB devices are consuming to much energy and due to this the USB port were deactivated (This is more or less the translation from Portuguese language).
The ones more to the rigth nothing happens, simply are dead, no message and no charge the IPAD, no connect the USB stick.
I really need yuor support, this IMAC is from November 2012.
