No contacts list or version type and such. no solu...

The many answers to the query: 'no contacts'list and 'skype version' do now 'work'. The contacts list doest not appear---but it did appear once (!) and then disappeared. The 'help' button does not provide any of the types of options or panels illustrated in the many replies. I just re-downloaded and installed whatever version is availabele when one chooses to download skype. problems remain.

This problem was solved. I discovered that it was created from attempts to log into my Skype account directly from my online password manager. Logging on by entering the password directly into the Skype app was successful and the reported difficulties did not appear. Thanks for the time and attention!

And what concerns Amazon: this "serial number" obtained from Amazon is not a serial number, only a code with which you can request a serial number from Adobe. Here you have to go through "Adobe Store", and look for the button "Serial Number Request". Fill in the form and, after a while you will get a "real" serial number.

You're not signed into iCloud then.
Go to System Preferences>iCloud and sign in, switch on any services you want to use. Your contacts will show up in Contacts and your appointments will be in Calendar. Enter new contacts/events etc in the respective app.
Backup any content currently in Contacts and Calendars.

I am going crazy. I have an iPhone 4 and my husband an iPhone 5. When our devices are synced to iTunes, our contact lists are merged.
I've previously set up a separate user account for each of us and we both have separate apple id's. I even tried setting up a new library for him but it keeps reverting back to my contact list on his phone etc.
How can I sync our contact lists and keep these details separately? He has work numbers in my phone and I have mine in his. Its driving me nuts deleting the numbers we don't use on each others phone!

I'm having contacts problems. I just updated my iPhone 4S iOS to 6.0.1. And after that, I started having Contacts problems. My contact list is disappearing automatically, and I have to Import SIM everytime, to bring the contacts back.

It all started after updating my software to iOS 6.0.1. Contact problems, disappearing automatically, and I have to IMPORT SIM everytime when it happens, to bring my contacts back. And this is happening more when I'm using Whatsapp application. Every two hours using Whatsapp, my contact list is dissapearing, I'm seeing only numbers. I thought it was an Whatsapp problem, but after that, when I go into my Phone's contact list, I can see nothing ! Empty ! So I guess it's a software problem or something. Please help. Thank you.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Cheat Sheet/Listing of Object types and transactions they are available in?

Does anyone know how to obtain a listing of the standard object types and where they would be available?
We have already worked with the Travel Management Trip Docuemnts and I know that object type BUS2089 is available through the Object for Services area of transaction PR05. So we store entries in the TOA01 table for this object and they are available to us in the object services section.
But now we want to leverage the functionality we built and extend it to other areas. But I spent a lot of time today trying to find out what object could be used through transaction IE03 for an equipment record and finally found EQUI. Now I just have to test it out.
I see a lot of standard document types available as well and don't know what they are for - for Plant Maintenance work order notifications object type BUS2038 is there with PMONOTFPAP, PMIDAMAGE and PMIREQUEST already available. I didn't want to create a new one if these are available for work order notification images, etc.
It would be nice if there was a spreadsheet or listing that detailed each object type and where it was used in the system.
(I did try searching but didn't find this question/answer on a broad basis.)

How would you obtain the answer to this question - besides just knowing it?
It's the same way that I know the following:
     What object type is used when populating the object services link from within a trip via PR05? --> BUS2089
     What object type is used when populating the object services link from within a work order via IW33? --> BUS2007
     What object type is used when populating the object services link from within a wo notification via IW23? --> BUS2038
The last two were easy because it prompts you when creating an attachment. The first one someone told me the answer to.
We will be doing image links for many different documents (invoices, journal entries, HR employee records, etc) and I'm just trying to figure out how to know which objects to use. Once I know the object I know how to configure the OAC* tables for use.
Any help is much appreciated.

So I made a new group on my Mac Address Book. I'd like to sync that list to the phone. But I'm afraid that I'll just wind up adding 500 to the already listed 1,000.
Not true IF you use the following settings.
Under Sync Address Book Contacts, select Selected Groups.
Select this newly created Address Book Group only that contains 500 contacts in the Groups list and then sync.
When completed, the 500 contacts along with this single Group will be available on the iPhone only.
When adding a new contact to the iPhone's Address Book, you can add the new contact to the primary "All Contacts" Group or to the Group name that contains the 500 contacts transferred from your Mac.
Select the Group name to enter the contact in this Group which will be available in both - All Contacts and this Group name. If you enter a new contact in the primary All Contacts Group, it won't be available in the Group that contains the 500 contacts.
Syncing the iPhone will transfer any new contacts entered on the iPhone to your Address Book accordingly.

Sorry for being slack but I've struggled with the differences between similar named camera options on my 920. Is there a page that lists and descibes these different options and how they differ and fit together? Also, what is the easiest way to either take a photo in black and white or change a photo later? What is the full message of the notification ? If your phone number and email address were added to, for example, the Messages app on another device then you will need to go to that other device to remove them from it

You could create two 'Groups'. In Contacts, from the File menu, select New Group and name it (e.g. Home Contacts). Select the contacts you want in that group from the full contacts list and drag and drop them into the folder. Repeat for your Business contacts.
You may need to change the view of Contacts to show a list on the left of All Contacts/Groups/Smart Groups, the centre pane to show the complete list of your contacs and the right-hand pane to show the detail of each individual contact.
You can change to this view by clicking on the left-most icon from the group of three at the bottom of the full list of contacts.
