No contract connectivity?

Have iphone 4s contract with Voda, wifi is fine but do not seem to be able to connect to contract internet. Is there an issue with the phone?

LMS 4.2.3 Contract Connection has contracts but no devices in the report

I am performing an assessment tht includes maintenance contract information. My client entered his CCO credentials and over a dozen contracts appeared in the window. When I select just one or all of them I get no records on the report. He is able to open Cisco TAC cases on all devices and I have all of the serial numbers in the inventory so what am I missing?

In order for the device to allow SNMPv3 vlan context-based queries to be processed, the
following must be added to the configuration for EVERY vlan that you want user tracking to
collect information on:
“snmp-server group v3 context vlan-X” (where X
is the vlan number)
Perform the following on the switch to help show which vlans require this command:
"show snmp context"
Solution: Configure the switch to allow vlan context queries.

I have a problem in my RME CiscoWorks.
I need generate reports with the Contract Connection of RME 4.3 "Contract Connection Reports", but, I get the following error message:
CCX0005:You do not have Cisco Services contracts registered to your Cisco.com user ID. Register your contracts with the Cisco Service Contract Center and try again. For more information, refer to Contract Connection FAQ in the Appendix of User Guide for Resource Manager Essentials .
however, I have in my account (cisco.com/Cisco Service Contract Center) several contracts registered. This same account is used on RME.
what can be the problem?

Essentially you should upgrade you LMS to version 3.2.1 where this issue should be fixed, as LMS older versions has some bugs due to which it happened.

LMS4.1 Contract Connection Report

Just wondering if this is a bug or a feature request...
When doing contract connection reports, my various smartnet contracts show up. But I can only ever select one contract at a time to run a report against.
Is it possible to be able to select all contracts to run agasint all devices, this way I can see from one report that all my devices are covererd under any of my contracts.

You may get more detail by enabling debug logging for Contract Connection.
RME > Admin > System Preferences > Application Log Level Settings
Set ContractConnection to Debug
Retry then check the log at NMSROOT\log\contractcon.log
...don't forget to turn off Debug when finished

Contract Connection reports in LMS 3.2

I'm attempting to run this report and it's not recognizing my id/password.
However on my old server which is running LMS 3.1 this report runs fine. I'm not mistyping my id/password I have confirmed that I'm not. See screenshot of error is this a bug?

This is a known issue. Development is working on it to correct the Cisco.com side so it reports the correct contracts. As of now, there is no workaround within LMS.

IS-U contract accounts to CRM (Business agreement)

Hi Anup,
in the SAP standard installation facts are never replicated from IS-U back to CRM. In that respect the MDTs are a one way tool. If you enter some values in a contract in CRM (e.g. configuration values via the simplified configuration) these values can be used to populate installation facts in IS-U upon replication. However, if installation facts are changed in SAP IS-u no replication to CRM is triggered. The underlying reason is, that only the objects BP, contract account, contract, connection object and premise are replicated between CRM and IS-U.
IF you want to show the installation facts together with a contract in CRM you have got two options. Either build a custom view that displays the installation facts for a contract or implement a custom replication logic. I'd recommend the first approach as it's less error prone and easier to implement.
We've also implemented the first approach for one of our customers. Let me know if you need further information.

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone had any learning points or gotcha's for designing the SAP for Utilities Technical Landscape. OUr project consists of CTI/IVR ,TOU, Retailer, Billing, Web integration . We currently run SAP FI, AM, HCM, and are looking to add CRM/I SU next Winter. CRM performs all activities relating to customer interaction. Various channels, such as call centers, Internet and laptops can be used to communicate with customers. Data objects are synchronized via the Middleware and exchanged with the backend and analysis systems.
CRM: Customer Interaction System
CRM is the front-end system used for interaction with the customer. It contains the full range of functions from the areas of marketing, sales, and customer retention. CRM supports communication with customers via a number of channels:

For the replication of the other data from SAP CRM in SAP IS-U, the IS-U master data generator plays an important role:
u2022        Technical objects such as points of delivery must be replicated from SAP CRM into SAP IS-U. Master data templates with the template category CRMTECHOBJ are used for this purpose.
u2022        During the replication of the CRM contract items, contracts must be created in SAP IS-U, among other things. These data changes are made in SAP IS-U with master data templates of the category CRMNEWCONTRACT.

Tethering blackberry Pearl 9105 to PC running Windows 7 - error message that " the specified port is not open "

I am trying to tether my Blackberry Pearl to my PC using Blackberry Desktop Manager. The phone is recognised and connected. I choose the Vodaphone Contract connection profile but keep getting a message that "the specified port is not open". The RIM virtual modem ports used are COM3 and COM4 and my modem is configurred as COM 3 ,
Is there a port conflict with something on my PC ? or something that I can do to force a port open ?

I have seen this issue fixed for some users by modifying the following registry key:
The key is "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" MoveImages
Set the key to 1 instead of 0 then reboot the machine.
In case you still face the issue try the following registry key change:
The only thing you have to do is rename the following key at the REGEDIT, and everything will be fine !!
BEFORE:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\iexplore.exe
AFTER:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\iexplore.old

SSC Trouble

The outcry for help just on this forum for service contract administration is disheartening.
Our service contracts and their administration is so messed up I don't even know where to begin. We have a few thousand contracts and apparently they're split across a large number of VAR's...I'm not sure about this because I have no access whatsoever.
This first screenshot is what I get when I try to access SSC from 1 of the 2 or 3 contracts I've been able to get in my profile, the next one is of what I get when I click on the "More information about how to complete your SSC registration is available from this document." link.
This is debilitating in a number of ways, for example, my $2.5M LMS 4.2.4 implementation is lobotomized, Bug Summery, Contract Connection, Locate Device, Compliance and Audit, Image Repository, Image Management and much more in addition to not a single one of the "Work Centers" work....Couple screenshots below below
I have a case open with Cisco about this and I've spoken with a number of people, most of which tell me different information, I've come here in search of a "silver bullet".

Open a case with the support team, let them know that your access has been revoked to SSC.
Although your first screenshot looks like a link to CSCC resolution should be the same!

Issues with installing and configuring my SPA122

Hi everyone,
I have a question about my SPA122 device.
I recently buyed it to solve some phone issues. I was told that this device could line up your phones and make you able by internet.
You would need the SPA122 case and something called a SIP adress. We where told to convert our phone number to a SIP number so we could keep our number. So i did that and got the information for our numbers. I also recieved the case. But now i ask my self, how do i instal it. I plugged in my cables the correct way and browsed to the Phone Adapter Configuration Utility to set my settings. They asked me to fill in:
- Proxy
- Display Name
- Password
- User ID
They also asked for a dial plan but that was already filled in.
Now i think i filled those thing in correctly but i still cannot make phonecals so something must have gone wrong.
In the email i recieved with all the information about my SIP stuff i founs a proxy. So i filled that in for Proxy.
The email also contained a username which was just my phone number so i thought that up for Display name
I also found a password in the email. Just simply put that for password
And i used my phone number with a + added in front of it as User ID.
Now as i write this i see chances that this would work are very little, So can someone help me figuring out what i should fill in for the configuration?

Hello, These are the steps for basic configuration on a SPA 122 with a ITSP contract:
Connect your SPA 122 using a port from your Router/Modem to the Internet Port located in the back of the SPA 122
Connect your PC to the Ethernet port on the SPA and make sure it has DHCP enable (no static IP )
Once your PC receives an IP (192.168.15.x) got a browser and type 192.168.15.1 (default IP for the SPA - 122)
Login using the default settings (admin/admin)
You can use the Quick setup or the Line 1 settings under the Voice tab; the 3 fields necessary to fill out are the following:
Proxy: (proxy provided by ITSP) Some providers might use a second Proxy (outbound) ex: IINET Australia.
User ID : (usually is the telephone number) Also provided by the ITSP
Password: Provided by the ITSP
*The Display name can be left blank*
After all the settings are typed. make sure you save the configuration.
That is all you need to make and receive calls. Further settings might be changed but might need special instructions from the ITSP

If you have an iPad 2 you can wirelessly mirror it to your TV via the ATV device. If you have an iPad 1 then you can use airplay but not all apps are enabled to push video, as the developer needs to do this.

The other services available are iTunes movie rentals, TV shows (past purchases viewable from the cloud), Photo Stream, Netflix, Vimeo, Podcasts, Youtube, Sports etc.

I'm trying to get my iBook (made in iBooks Author) up on the iTunes store and am stuck.
I now have an iTunes Connect account into which I can sign in. When I try to use iTunes producer, and enter my login info (which works on the browser), it tells me
"There is a problem with your login information. To use this application, you must first sign in to iTunes Connect and sign the relevant contracts."
I'm not sure what a "relevant contract" would be. I look at "Contracts, Tax, and Banking" at iTunes Connect, and there is one entry with Contract Type "Book". However, I can't request it (that is grayed out), and the "Legal Entity" pull down does not show me (as found in the "Manage Users"), but only shows "select".
I therefore can't seem to find a way to do anything to allow me to login with my book via Producer to get it "produced."
Does anyone know what is going on?
The FAQ is a blank page, the "Contact us with questions" asks you to pull down a topic and has no topics there! Very clumsy path to publishing (comparing to CreateSpace, for example). After the ease of iBooks Author it's like hitting a brick wall at 100 mph.

OK, I saw the link for the help video at the bottom - it helped. I have to add a new entity. I was fooled thinking I would already be there and that the entry was me, but it is apparently a general placeholder into which numerous entities can go. For me this was not obvious at all, and I only figured that out by watching the video (which was not easy to spot!).

You are probably using an old version of iTunes with which the stream link service seems to have stopped working for many users of older iTunes. No, Apple makes no comment about this kind of thing. It may reappear, it may not (it has been dead for over a week now). Your solution is to upgrade the operating system version on your computer from 10.5.8 to 10.6.8 so you can run a newer iTunes, or live without. You can still open streams if you can get the URL, and you can then save them as playlist items.

Connecting Utility Customer E-Services with contract account

Today we use partners (BUS1006) as objtype_0 to connect different user.
Does anybody know if it's possible to use contract account (ISUACCOUNT ?) to connect a user for one of his contract account and not all of them ?

to link a contract directly to a user account, you put "CA_VREF_GP" in the objtype field and BP#(10) + C#(20) in the objkey field.
