No convergence customization after upgrade to 1.0-12.01

Hi,
I'm a bit confused about convergence customization. We made the c11n customizations explained in the Quick Start Guide (http://wikis.sun.com/display/CommSuite/Convergence+Customization+Quick+Start+Guide). We changed the header logo and the colors by creating a new theme.
After patching convergence to 1.0-12.01 the customizations disappeared.
I checked the client.enablecustomization variable which is correctly set to true.
Also, the c11n parameter appears in the URL (https://webmail.company.de/iwc_static/layout/login.html?lang=de-de&12.01_213623&svcs=abs,mail,calendar,c11n) of the login page, but never after logging in.
Any suggestions?
Regards,
Ruediger

Hi Shane,
I think we ran convergence 1.05-xx before the upgrade.
I don't see any buttons for themes because we removed the ability to choose other themes besides ours.
The c11n directory exists and here is the config.js:
dojo.provide("c11n.config");
c11n.config = {
        // allDomain configuration
        allDomain: {
                module: "allDomain",            // module name
                themeEnabled: true,             // true if theme is customized
                i18nEnabled: true,              // true if i18n is customized
                jsEnabled: true                 // true if js is customized
                // the last entry must not end with comma
        // replace sample.com for each domain configuration, change
        // domain name example.com to example_com for javascript syntax and url
syntax
        example_com: {
                module: "example_com",  // module name
                themeEnabled: false,     // true if theme is customized
                i18nEnabled: false,      // true if i18n is customized
                jsEnabled: false        // true if js is customized
                // the last entry must not end with comma
}Best Regards,

  • Getting the class not found error in OAF customization - after upgrade

    Hi All,
    We have recently upgraded from 11.5.10 to 12.1.3
    I have a customization in one of the OAF page, where in I click on a button, the information should be getting passed on to some other system. These customization classes are present in the .jar file xx_cust.jar in the path $JAVA_TOP/xxpo/lib/
    But these classes are not getting referenced when I click on the button in the OAF page and I get an OAF exception saying, java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError with the class name. But the class is present in the .jar file in the above said path.
    After upgrade, I have migrated the OAF related customizations. Is there anything I need to check/change (with regard to the JAVA environment) so that the classes will be correctly referenced
    Any pointers on this will be of much help
    Regards,
    Mohan

    Unix classpath needs ":" as the path separator, not ";". Changing that will make this work.
    For reference, later versions of the deployment template make this configurable, so you'd see (in environment.properties):
    # PATH_SEP_VARNAME: for platform-independence
    PATH_SEP_VARNAME=;
    # Forge needs record store libraries as well as Spring to load record store adapter configuration files
    FORGE_CLASSPATH=./config/lib/java/spring-delegate-adapter-1.0.1.jar${PATH_SEP_VARNAME}./config/lib/java/spring.jar${PATH_SEP_VARNAME}./config/lib/java/eacToolkit.jar${PATH_SEP_VARNAME}./config/script${PATH_SEP_VARNAME}.
    You can then add the following to your <forge /> definition in AppConfig.xml:
    <arg>--javaClasspath</arg>
    <arg>${FORGE_CLASSPATH}</arg>
    Hope this helps.

  • Lost my customizations after upgrade from 29.0 to 29.0.1

    After upgrading my version of Firefox from 29.0 to 29.0.1 on the Mac, my toolbar settings (order of the bars, icons vs. text, etc.) seem to be gone or have reverted to default. How do I get them back?

    Through some additional searching, I discovered that the ability to have text-only buttons was removed in version 29, which means my upgrade must have been from 28.
    I installed [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ Classic Theme Restorer] to attempt to get this capability back, but it completely messed up my toolbar. Plus, I don't like the idea of having to install a plug-in with tons of options and questionable future compatibility just to get back a simple feature that has long been a part of the application.
    So, I have reverted to Firefox 28 while I look for another browser. Combined with long-standing performance issues, this was really the last straw for me. Believe it or not, text on buttons dramatically helps workflow, as is supported by significant UI research, and making them text-only saves space. I can't imagine why this capability was eliminated.

  • Cannot open customize OAF screen after upgrade to 12.1.3

    Hi,
    After upgrade to 12.1.3, I am not able top open customize OAF screens from Applications.
    By following some documents from MOS, I have done the following.
    1)-applied patch 9879989 on Linux server.
    2)-I am able to install JDeveloper,open and compile my customize programs from JDeveloper installed on Linux server. I compilation, new *.jpx files created from *.jpr
    From Oracle Applications, I am getting the same error that I was getting without compiling customize program.
    My question is that, how Oracle applications will read the new compiled program. Do all program need to be in specific unix directory ?
    I copied all the customized program under " /u01/oracle/jdev_install_dir/jdevhome/jdev/myprojects" .
    I think the problem is now to place OAF files in the problem directory, which I don't know.
    Do I need to set environment variable like JDEV_USER_HOME in the environment file ?
    Please help.
    Best Regards

    Not sure if your issue is resolved. Did you compile the java sources in JDeveloper and moved all files from myclasses folder to unix under $JAVA_TOP or appropriate directory and deployed the PG files using xmlimporter?
    Thanks
    Shree

  • Cannot use elementary icons themes after upgrading to GTK+-2.22.0 ?

    Hello All,
    After upgrading to GTK+-2.22.0, elementary icons look horribly wrong for some reason. I thought maybe i need to download the icons themes again (https://launchpad.net/elementaryicons/+download) so i did download the latest elementary icons and install them in ~/icons. However, the icons themes dont look the way they should look. Therefore, I am not sure what i did wrong, or if it had to do with upgrading to GTK+-2.22.0 and i am wondering if i am missing something or need to change some setting.
    I am using Xface4 as my Desktop Environments.
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    After upgrading, almost all of my icon themes are broken, including Elementary, which is the only one I actually care about.
    *EDIT*
    Recent update to libpng seems to have solved it for me.  They still don't display properly in the "Appearance -> Theme -> Customize... -> Icons" dialog, but they display properly in Nautilus and on the panels.

  • No Audio Output after Upgrading to windows 7; Soundblaster Card is installed

    After upgrading to Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit), I found that my speakers (which are built into my HP w2207 monitor) are not recognized.  In the notification area I have the speaker with a red x in it, and it says “No Audio Output Device is installed”.
    I have a HP Pavilion D4890Y with the Sound Blaster Audigy X-FI 24-Bit Xtreme sound card.  I tried looking in Device Manager, and found “Multimedia Audio Controller” under Other, which states no drivers could be found.
    I tried following some of the advice online, and downloaded the latest Realtek High Definition Audio drivers, but and the download seems to run successfully, but I don’t notice any differences.  When I reboot as prompted, I’ve still got the same error.
    I then tried forcing the Audio Device to use a Realtek driver, but Windows protests (saying it’s not sure it’s compatable with my device, and I end up with “Realtek High Definition Audio” under “Sound, video and game controllers”, but it has a yellow exclamation point.  If I click properties, the device status says “This device cannot start (Code 10).” If I try to update the driver I get the message that it cannot find the driver software.   If I uninstall the driver I’m back to the original problem (multimedia audio controller under original devices, with no known drivers).
    I also tried downloading various files from the Creative site, but it’s not clear which one to use, and the 4 or 5 different ones I tried (including their recommended beta version for Windows 7), when each of them opens it says it can’t find any supported devices.
    Suggestions?  Thanks!
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    Hi,
    "If the driver is a previous revision install it using the TROUBLESHOOT COMPATIBILITY tool that is part of the Windows 7 OS.
    To use the tool, uninstall any drivers for the sound card you show listed in Control Panel/Programs/Uninstall Programs  list.  Delete the Device from Device Manager.
    Download the revision of the driver from www.creative.com  website to a folder you've created and placed on your desktop.
    After the driver is downloaded, navigate to the "setup.exe" of the driver and Right Click - select Troubleshoot Compatibility  ----
    Let the compatibility tool select a possible solution then use its suggestion of TRY RECOMMENDED WINDOWS SETTINGS, if it does not find a solution it will submit only CUSTOMIZE SETTINGS and let you install it as you designate."
    The preceding information comes from a Microsoft Windows 7 forum regarding an issue similar to yours.
    the information you provided did verify that it is a sound blaster XiFi Extreme card as checked against the Vendor / Device list.
    regards,
    erico

  • Syntax error in standard program after upgrade

    Hi,
    After upgrade from 7.0 to 7.3, we are facing a syntax error in standard program that is used in one of our process
    The error says:
    The field "G_REQUIDPARENT" is unknown, but there is a field with the s"
    imilar name "G_REQUID_LAST". "G_REQUID_LAST"."
    The system cannot find this object inside include LRSBM_REQUEST_GUIP04, that belongs to program SAPLRSBM_REQUEST_GUI
    We assume that this is associated with the upgrade but we cannot find any solution in the web. Besides, this is a standard program so we cannot perform any change directly. We look for SAP Notes to apply but we didn't find nothing worthwhile
    Basically, we are receiving a dump with the error message posted above and we found the syntax error, but the thing is that we don't know how to fix it, due to the fact that is a standard program and we cannot change it
    I know that SAP could remove some object reference during the upgrade, but there should be an anticipated plan to fix this kind of errors, right?
    Can you shed some light on this, please ?
    Thanks a lot
    Ale

    Hi Ale,
    If you make sure there are no customization around the object and SGEN already run, I think you can just open a OSS message to SAP to looking for a fix.

  • Extended VO errors after upgrading to 12.1.3

    Hi,
    Oracle EBS 12.1.3 (upgraded from Oracle EBS 12.0.6)
    After upgrading EBS from 12.0.6 to 12.1.3, an extended VO is giving the following error.  I verified the extended VO query in the upgraded instance and it is working without any errors.
    JBO-30003: The application pool (pwkodb001s.xxx.llc.oracle.apps.icx.por.rcv.server.ViewReceiptsAM) failed to checkout an application module due to the following exception:

    I verified the VORowImpl.class and VO.xml files are in $XXCUST_TOP/xxxllc/oracle/apps/icx/por/rcv/server directory.  Nothing has been changed on the application server that I am aware of.
    I verified the customizations by running the below statements.
    exec jdr_utils.listcustomizations('/oracle/apps/icx/por/rcv/server/ViewReceiptsDetailListVO');
    Output:
    /oracle/apps/icx/por/rcv/server/customizations/site/0/ViewReceiptsDetailListVO
    exec jdr_utils.printDocument('/oracle/apps/icx/por/rcv/server/customizations/site/0/ViewReceiptsDetailListVO');
    Output:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <customization xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/jrad" xmlns:ui="http://xmlns.oracle.com/uix/ui" xmlns:oa="http://xmlns.oracle.com/oa" xmlns:user="http://xmlns.oracle.com/user" version="10.1.3_1086" xml:lang="en-US"

       <replace with="/xxxllc/oracle/apps/icx/por/rcv/server/XXXLLCViewReceiptsDetailListVO"/>
    </customization>
    What else do I need to check?  Is there something I need to do to preserver the extensions in an upgrade?  Any pointers will be helpful.
    Thanks.

  • User Exit issue after upgrade from 4.6c to ECC 6.0

    Hi Experts,
    After upgrade we are facing some issues regarding user exit. In 4.6c we have implemented several user exit to do customization in several module like SD,FI and HR. But after upgrade it has been identified that SAP has already provided this functionality in ECC 6.0. Now our problem is when this transactions are called or executed control is going to both custom and standard code. Which took long time to execute and causing performance issue.
    Is there any ways to identify which are the functionality SAP has provided in ECC 6.0 so that we can delete our custom user exits.

    Hi
        List all the user exits which you have modified and check in OSS notes you will get the OSS note with all the details what functionality has been changed.  Based on this you can delete or retain the user exits which ever you want.
    Regards,
    JB

  • 2011 i5 MacBook Air unable to sleep with lid open after upgrading to 10.7.1

    Hi,
       After upgrading to 10.7.1 I noticed my 2011 i5 MacBook Air being unresponsive to wake events.  Per instructions I saw from other posts I pointed the Startup Disk to my main partition.  Shortly after (though I'm sure unrelated to Startup Disk) the Energy Saver preferences I noticed were no longer being adhered to.  I can make my machine sleep through
    1.  Apple -> Sleep optoin
    2.  Closing the lid
    However, when the lid is up the Energy Saver options are not being adhered to.  I have tried
    1)  Resetting PRAM
    2)  Resetting SMC
    3)  Removing SystemConfiguration folder
    4)  Turning off auto update on all apps running
    5)  Poring through system logs
    Interestingly enough, I looked through all system logs via Console and noticed during the time period in which sleep should be triggered NO EVENTS were being written to the system logs.
    Currently I am using the PleaseSleep app to get my computer to sleep properly.  Please advise!
    - Frank
    P.S.  I did do one thing was put a refridgerator magnet to the computer to "simulate" sleep but I doubt it would cause this broken behavior.

    Uninstall Growl. See:
    Uninstalling Software: The Basics
    Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash.  Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder.  Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space.  If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
    Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application.  In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
    Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder.  You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder.  You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder.  Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
    Some applications may install a startupitem or a Log In item.  Startupitems are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder.  Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences.  Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab.  Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to delete it from the list.
    Some software use startup daemons or agents that are a new feature of the OS.  Look for them in /Library/LaunchAgents/ and /Library/LaunchDaemons/ or in /Home/Library/LaunchAgents/.
    If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term.  Unfortunately Spotlight will not look in certain folders by default.  You can modify Spotlight's behavior or use a third-party search utility, Easy Find, instead.  Download Easy Find at VersionTracker or MacUpdate.
    Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder.  Usually with the same name as the program or the developer.  The item generally has a ".pkg" extension.  Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.
    There are many utilities that can uninstall applications.  Here is a selection:
    AppZapper
    Automaton
    Hazel
    CleanApp
    Yank
    SuperPop
    Uninstaller
    Spring Cleaning
    Look for them at VersionTracker or MacUpdate.

  • Preserving customization during upgrade

    Hi,
    Are there any special steps which need to be done to preserver the customization during upgrade.
    Thanks,
    Taher

    Taher,
    Are you referring to the upgrade from 11i to R12? If yes, see below:
    Are there any special steps which need to be done to preserver the customization during upgrade.For the database objects, you have to validate all those objects after the upgrade and test it all. Since many changes happen to the seeded database objects, many of the objects become obsolete so you will have to test your custom code and make sure all is working as expected (if you follow the customization naming convention, then should be easy to be done).
    For custom forms/reports, please refer to:

  • After upgrading Firefox all the icons of all my bookmarks disappear.

    After upgrading next version of Firefox all my bookmarks have lost their icons. To restore an icon I have to click on that bookmark and load a web pade again. That brings back an icon.
    But I have so many icons that I can't just go through all of them.
    I appriciate any help on this matter.
    My regards,
    Alexei Kouznetsov

    Hi alexeiuk,
    There was an issue with Firefox 9 that caused this type of behavior. It has been fixed in Firefox 10 though. You might want to try the Firefox 9 version of [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/latest-firefox-issues#os=mac&browser=fx9 this article] to see if the steps work for you.
    You could also try an add-on to customize your favicons:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/favicon-picker-2/
    Cor-el offers some useful tips as well:
    A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

    You can also try to repair the places database with this extension:

    Try to restore favicons with this extension:

  • After upgrading iPod Touch 2nd gen some apps sync over and others do not

    After upgrading my iPod Touch 2nd Gen to OS 3, skype and TextFree Unlimited sync over, but 9-Toolbox, Gas Cubby Lite, fring and TooDoo do not. They show up as installed in iTunes, but do not sync onto my iPod Touch. Is this because the apps themselves have not been updated to work on OS 3, or could there be a syncing problem?

    OK..last post on this item. I found this post by ipodtouchuder1517 that explains how to move your icons around, ie page 2 to 3, etc
    All is well again and I shall now resume checking out the new features my $10 purchased!
    Page 18 of the manual:
    "Customizing the Home Screen
    You can customize the layout of icons on the Home screen—including the Dock
    icons along the bottom of the screen. If you want, arrange them over multiple Home
    screens.
    Rearrange icons:
    1 Touch and hold any Home screen icon until the icons begin to wiggle.
    2 Arrange the icons by dragging them.
    3 Press the Home button to save your arrangement. "
