How to change the message in CUCM 7.0 " Your Current Options"

Dear All
can any body help me or assist me to type my own message at the botom of the phones by default its your current options but i tried to much to change it or find any way to change and i failed.
in Call Manager express it was easy to change just at the cli you type "system message Hello this is your IP Phone" but at the CUCM 7.0 i dont know how to change this and solve this problem so can any body tell me how to change this message please its needed 100% for me

You cannot change it, in CCM it was possible due to it being Windows and you had access to all the files.
CUCM does not grant access to the necessary files for this unless you have root access and it's not granted for purposes other than troubleshooting or to apply a workaround from a bug.

As far as I know you can't change that on CUCM.

Hi Mahesh,
I'm not sure what exactly is your question.
There are various alert types in SNC which needs to be activated. Some alerts get triggered automatically e.g. New PO, Changed PO, New SA Release, Late Confirmation, etc. For some other alerts, we need to run the report periodically.
If you would like to receive Email, SMS, etc., you can create Selection profile for the same in SNC web UI and maintain the parameters accordingly.

I don't know if it works out or not but if you want to try then refer below steps
1). download SCCP-dictionary.utf-8.xml from CUCM (tftp -i GET SCCP-dictionary.utf-8.xml)
2). Edit that file which contains "Your current options" as per your requirement and save it.
3). Upload file to all tftp servers (if you have multiple).
4). Restart tftp service of all tftp servers (if you have multiple).
If restarting tftp service don't help you then try to do factory reset of the phone.

The output of program BPFCTRA0 gives a complete explanation how the 'active' assigned value is calculated. It shows a hierarchical list of all objects which belong to a budget carrier (if you expand the list) and an overview of all postings which are included in the calculation of the active assigned value.
Budget carriers are highlighted in blue colour. This way, you can quickly recognize for which WBS elements an availability control does not take place.
Postings highlighted in red colour do not contribute to the assigned value.
The assigned value from BPFCTRA0 should correspond with the CJ31 assigned value.
The sum of the postings in a budget carrier (WBS element) should be equal to the WBS assigned value.
There is a 'hidden' OK-code which can be used in report BPFCTRA0 ('=SUM'). If you enter this ok-code in the result list of BPFCTRA0, the system recalculates the assigned value and compares it with the result list. If there is an inconsistency, you will get a popup. These can be fixed with CJBN. If no popup is issued everything is consistent.
Once you are sure your assigned value is consistent, you can compare the postings with the contents in tables in RKACSHOW and further analyze which posting made the budget overrun.

What is the current XI job market status

Xi Guys,
I am an experienced Abap developer with just rolled off my first successful XI project.
For my next project I am really want to stay in XI arena and would not like to go back to Abap .
I wish to ask you your opinion on - what is the XI current job market status in the US?
I am hearing different things u2013 some are saying XI is not a good place to be, because there are not that many xi projects and there are too many xi consultants u2013 therefore if job is difficult to find, rate is low, slowdown etc.
Others are saying exactly the opposite -xi market is very good and it is growing , so there are jobs...
If first is true I would not like to waste time and effort. So your inputs as xi gurus will be interesting for me, before jumping to any conclusions.
Of course more info like which exactly XI skills are in better demand and what are the trends now will be also interesting to hear.
Let me know what you think and what is your experience.

Your question is pretty interesting... Well WHO can tell the future...Only GOD...:-))
Todays market is volatile. AS per current market situations we can just forecast about XI requirments, it may be right or may go wrong after few years.
But one think I could assure you is if you have good knowledge then you can servive in any Market situations.
Curently there are many XI consultants available but can you guess how many are of them XI experts...just few of them.
If you see the previous developments in XI arena, then it will ndicate you that you should be updated with latest version of knowledge else you will stay out of the race.
So before getting involve in XI, be sure that you are ready to survive in slag time of Market as well as enjoy it on on peak time.
Tomorrow Market may get down or may be at boom for XI, but there will always be requirment for good XI knowledge

Can I re-enable SSL in Firefox without downgrading? When I hit an SSL-only site, my only current option is to use another browser.

Just hit an SSL-only site that I needed to access that FF 35 blocked. I don't see an obvious way to create an exception or re-enable it. We need this option... many users understand POODLE and can make an intelligent decision regarding the risks. TLS has its vulnerabilities as well.

if you want to re-enable ssl 3.0 in firefox you can do that - however keep the consequences in mind, that you will become vulnerable to the attack mentioned above: enter '''about:config '''into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named '''security.tls.version.min'''. double-click it, change its value to '''0''' and restart the browser.

Client notification and/or permission?

Does anyone know if ARD 3 offers a better notification system for when clients are being controlled/observed? The current option of showing status in the menu bar is not as obvious as I would like. Ideally, a permission dialog would be available to require client permission to observe, but even a more obvious notification would be helpful.
If ARD 3 doesn't have this, has anyone solved this problem using another method?
PowerMac G5 with v2.2, connecting to a MacBook Pro Mac OS X (10.4.6)

ARD 3's permission request is for guest user control only; administrators can still observe and take control without the user's permission. And the menu bar icon is still the only notification mechanism that the system is being observed.
