No curvature tool in CC Illustrator trial?

I downloaded the Illustrator CC 30 day trial. Adobe doesn't seem to want to take my money, I just wanted to try out the new curvature tool, but it does not seem to be available in the trial version. I don't buy before I try, so if they don't want my money that is just fine. And you can't contact them??? WTF.

Please try downloading CC2014 ?(18.1) as Larry stated. You will not see that option in older version of Illustrator.

I'm using the curvature tool to trace a simple JPEG. After a few minutes the program will crash.
Never had this issue with previous versions of Illustrator.
I am using OSX 10.7.5

I cannot guarantee you my suggestions are warranted, or effective, and I am in no way associated with Adobe troubleshooting staff, but... you should check to make sure that there are no erroneous printer entries listed with your peripherals. In addition, if you have networking functions enabled on your printer, and it does not possess network capabilities or they're malfunctioning, I advise you resolve or remove them from the properties ASAP. I don't know why, but if there's a networking printer error, you'd best expect AI to follow suit.
If that does not do the trick, you can try removing the prefs file in your AI dir.

Illustrator cc crashing when using curvature tool

OK, the new curvature tool is very easy and saves time in certain situations, but every time I try to move a point on a curve using the tool Illustrator crashes.
Anyone had a similar experience? I am using a Sony VAIO laptop I7 with 8g RAM and an AMD 7570. Video driver support is nonexistent as the manufacturer drivers do not work and Sony dumped the VAIO line. ANy other ideas?
At least I found an autosave add-on and I'm not losing much work anymore!

Can you please share the dump file of AI CC 2014 when it crashes ?
Steps:
1) When AI displays the crash dialog right after moving the curvature point then please do not dismiss it.
2) Launch Task Manager
3) Right Click on the Adobe Illustrator CC 2014 listed in Task Manager
4) Choose the option "Create dump file"
5) Let the dumping operation get completed and then share the newly created dump file "Illustrator.dmp" using any file sharing online services.

I just downloaded CC and I don't have a curvature tool...am I missing something?

Actually the trial should be the current version. Did you download the latest Creative Cloud app?

You may try the list.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file, and when it is not caused by issues with opening a file from external media, see below. You may have tried/done some of them already; 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save current artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to at least 5 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you may find the folder here:

5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);

6) Uninstall (ticking the box to delete the preferences), run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Much easier with a toolkit but you could use ADO objects,
get connection, make a SQL object "INSERT record INTO table where ...."
Execute the parameterized query
Free up record sets data
close connection when done.

Did you have previous versions of the software on your system? No
Is the trouble with the download or the installation of the software? I am not sure but i think it may be the download. It shows that the download was complete and icon appears on the desktop. I plan to buy the ''Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium'' but i wanted to try it first via the free trials, especially Photoshop and Illustrator. So please let me know what i need to do.

Illustrator trial download doesn't work

I want to download the illustrator trial version onto my mac book pro. My laptop requires all the needs in order to install it. Anyhow, when I click on the download button it tells me that my sytem doesnt support illustrator. This is not even possible because I once had illustrator on my laptop. Do you know what i can do?

Did you check to see if your machine meets the spec requirements for Illustrator CC? They are different than those for CS6.

Recommended tool for technical illustrations to be embedded in FrameMaker document?

I'm new to Framemaker and don't know, if this is the right tool for me.
I have written a technical document of about 500 pages using MS-Word. Now I want to figure out, if FrameMaker would be a good alternative. I think it could be.
But one of my needs is to be able to create technical illustrations (diagrams with shapes with text and arrows, lines and arrows linked to the shapes when repositioned).
In my opinion the capabilities of FrameMaker to create such illustrations are very limited.
Currently I create the illustrations using MS-Word-2010. I think concerning illustrations MS-Word is more capable than FrameMaker.
On the other hand the capabilities of Adobe Illustrator are plenty too much for me.
Can you recommend some external tool for creating illustrations, which can be easily integrated into a FrameMaker document?

Import the ai file directly into the FrameMaker doc.
Select where you want the illustration to be located (use the smart select tool and click on the area in your text flow)
File>Import>File
If you want to have the illustration in the document to automatically update when the drawing changes, select Import By Reference.
Once imported you have the option of positioning where you want it to be located relative to the text.
Right click the anchored frame, select Anchored Frame
Select the Anchoring Position, Alignment, etc.
Adobe Illustrator is all you need to create quality Technical Illustrations.
