No dashboard access after Firmware Release 1.05.36

I purchased the EX4 about a week and a half ago. Hooked it up and all went fine. From dashboard I did firmware updates. First two went fine as I was able to get back in via dashboard. Then I did the FR 1.05.36 (the one that has you unplug) When it came back up I could no longer get to it via dashboard. The following is what I observed: No web access with browsers using ip address or machine name after Firmware Release 1.05.36 (7/8/2015) Windows Explorer shows WDMyCloudEX4 under Media Devices and storage. Public, Smartware and Timemachinebackup folders shown and accessible as well. I can copy files to it and retrieve files from it. WD My Cloud errors with failed to connect message. But it also shows Previously Connected Devices which is WDMyCloudEX4 and shows correct ip address of EX4 (same ip as shown on front display). WD Discovery shows EX4 Browse Network shares works but configure does not. Again no web access. mcp4_windows_setup cannot access EX4 either. Twonkey Media Server is accessable and functions just fine. So I technally don't have access to EX4 via dashboard. So evewrything works just fine except for dashboard.

Yes I have turned off and back on and performed 5 sec reset with paperclip. But I have been reading about a 40 sec reset. Is that for real and do you perform? I read many different ways to do it.

No NAS access after firmware 7.6.3 on TimeCapsules

As soon as I update my Time Capsule Router (StarVoid) and/or the bridged TimeCapsule with firmware 7.6.3 my directly-attached (RJ-45) QNAP NAS TS-569 (latest firmware installed) is 'not' accessible via:
- aft
- smb
- ftp
- web admin interface (NAS-Name.local.:8080; IP-Name:8080; IP-Name:443) with any browser
- QNAP-NAS TimeMachine functionallity is not accessible either
I see my NAS shares in the finder (AFP) but as soon as I try to mount them the finder get's inresponsive. The content on the NAS shares get's not listed, it even hangs the Mac totally and I have to cold start the Mac again. I tested on 3 MACs .... on all systems the same behavior
All computers and the NAS are connected by RJ-45 on 1 Gigabit-Ethernet by full-duplex, flow-control and Jumbo frames set to 9000 with fixed IP addresses (DHCP-reservations).
Finally I downgraded the newly updated Apple Time Capsules back to version FW 7.6.1 and again everything works well as before. No problems mounting the shares nor accessing the Web admin interface with the browser. The problem is reproducable. As soon as I update one of the two TimeCapsules my NAS is not accessible as described.
It looks to me like there is some problem with handshake/negotiation between Router and NAS. As soon as a Mac tries to establish a connection (e.g. by mounting a user-share) to the NAS it hangs and the Mac has to be rebooted because the finder get's unresponsive.
Any ideas appreciated.

Ok, I could narrow it further down.
The problem is with my first generation TimeCapsule.
If the router (4th gen TC) is updated to 7.6.3 the connections are just fine. Sorry, I stated differently before.
So there seems to be a problem when updating that first generation TC. Downgrading it to 7.6.1 works fine with all other Airport devices on 7.6.3. It works connecting my Mac's over ethernet as well as WiFi.

No internet access after 7.2.1 Firmware Update

I can not get internet access after performing this Firmware Update. I have a green light on my Airport Extreme, and in the System Preferences Network pane it states that I am connected to the internet via Airport. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to resolve it?
I have a cable modem and have reset it several times. I have also uploaded the firmware update again. I've tried to go back to the previous version of the firmware but it does not seem to be available anywhere, and does not show up as an option in the Airport Utility using Manual Set Up option.

I have the same problem. ATT DSL modem. Updated my firmware and lost all connectivity. If I bypass the AEBS, it works just fine. Also lost my Apple TV in iTunes after the update. Frustrating!
Let me know if you figure it out.

N80 new firmware release date and wishlist

It has been no update on firmware since the latest release V.5.0719.0.2 for N80 since 24 May 2007. With so many models rolling out and firmware revision released for other new and old models, one might wonder if N80 is being forgotten and the firmware revision is put on-hold forever in cold storage?!
There has been so much discussion on the expectation for last firmware release but what we get is only product stability without signficant boost of functionality and performance. I believe this has made many proud owner of N80 phone waiting with a long neck.
After reading through the forum, I have summarised some of the common expectation on the next release (hopefully) in a wishlist below. All is welcome to provide input on the improvement they expect in next firmware release. It is also hope that any status of firmware upgrade for N80 news to be shared here.

i) AD2P bluetooth profile support
ii) Nokia Maps application support (currently, N80 is not support model for Nokia Maps application)
iii)Enhanced digital music player (similar with N73 ME with album art browsing)

Thanks for your quick response but if you go to the download section of Nokia Maps, N80 is not listed for selection on Nokia Maps setup file download. It is obvious that the compability page does show N80 is supported but which setup version to choose? I myself have Nokia Maps installed previously. But I believe there are new feature and interface in the latest version of Nokia Maps.
Yes, mymobilesite.net is available for N80, but perhaps the new firmware can include it in the new firmware release to save other the hassle to install

ISE DashBoard Access issue

Hi,
I am running distributed deployment with mutiple PSNs,MONs & Admin Nodes are deployed.I was verifying crtical vlan access and radius server dead critera and a test case scenrios to reboot/power off the devices for sometime and trun them on back and verify the service. But after devices came up i lost dashboard access There is no more GUI access though I am still able to access all the devices through CLI.
Could you please help me to identify the issue.

I strongly agree with you Donald. Most other vendors kit will support this feature. The ability to add/remove dialed digits for things like carrier LCR would also be very useful on top of automatic route selection(ARS).
For example,
End user dials 9 01392XXXXXXXX
But the PBX actually sends to carrier 162 01392XXXXXXXX
(162 is the access code recognised by BT for Energis LCR)

How to extract pick details after pick release with OPM Modules

Hi, Can someone show me how to extract pick details (for third party warehouse) after pick release released in OPM modules?
I remembered that I can access interface tables MTL_TXN_REQUEST_HEADER and MTL_TXN_REQUEST_LINES to extract pick detail. But it seems that in OPM modules, it does not use these two tables. Any help are greatly appreciated.

This problem Could happen when you referesh quality or test system.
Your delta setup for the related master and transaction data needs to be reinit.
What happens is when you init. the delta and subsequent delta is all maintained in your source system

Sales doc reprice after credit release

do anyone come across when sales order is released via VKM1/VKM3, the sales document goes through repricing again?
some of my condition types are missing after the release.

My 2 cents worth of thought would be to check the release partner's authorisation profile along with related pricing. Please check whether during the credit release, the sales document is being accessed in edit mode and whether pricing is being carried out again.
This might sound illogical, but I have been in a situation wherein the SO price used to change when viewed in edit mode. Due to timelines, we had to use a workaround by not allowing any editing manually, after the order has been created.

E75 - phot share broken after firmware update

I updated the firmware last weekend (1 August 2009), sorry don't know how to find the numbers.
After update, I restored settings from backup and then discovered that I could not share a photo to Flickr or OVI from within the camera application. Later I did a"factory restore" and then was able to share photos. Again did a restore from backup and it broke. Then did a second factory restore - but no it will not work. Details follow:
1. Update firmware.
2. Restore settings from backup (made with PCSuite).
3. Take a photo. Button bar changes. Choose the second button - Share. The tool tip for the button says, "Sign in for Share Online". It is supposed to say something like "Upload".
4. Click the button - nothing happens! The button simply will not respond.
5. Restore factory settings.
6. Repaet steps 3 and 4. It works! The button does respond, and I can upload a photo.
7. Restore settings from backup.
8. It breaks, same as step 4. Nokia tech support suggests that the phone backup, made with previous firmware, is incompatible with the current firmware. Yes, I guessed that. How pathetic that they released this.
9. Restore factory settings, as in step 5.
10. It does NOT work. Why not?
So now I'm stuck - the camera application button for Share is inoperative. How will I ever get this fixed? Or more to the point, will Nokia be able to fix it?

Click on "Firmware (2)" and click on the download button for the Firmware Release notes shown in the picture below. Then, try the steps inside the release notes to see if the issue can be recovered, even though your error message is not same as what i have pointed. This is because I suspect the steps might help since the folder is still available is just that the path is somewhat "distorted" Please let me know if the steps in the release note is helpful , appreciated and thanks a lot = )

Installing Certificates on N95 after firmware V11

trying to install a self certified certificate for our work email server on an N95 as well as for our Wireless access at work. I was able to do this when I first had my N95 with firmware version 10, the certificate appeared in Tools / Settings / General / Security / Certificate Management. WLAN and secure connection via Road Sync worked fine.
However after upgrading top V11 and now V12 this functionallity seems to have changed. I have copied the .cer file on and clicked the file in File Manager but get an error message "Unable to open. File type not supported" so cannot install the certificate this way.
Internet suggests browsing to the web site that the certificate is used on and the certificate should then appear in Certificate Management, this no longer works.
Has anyone got their own certificate on to an N95 after firmware v10?

I have wasted a lot of time trying to get my E51 to load a self-signed certificate. I have the latest E51 firmware. I have tried every trick I have found on the web and in this thread to no avail. My other phone is a HTC 8525 and it works fine with the same certificate. I also followed the instructions in the Nokia Mail for Exchange documentation to load certificates. The certificate is already in the format described in the Nokia documentation but in frustration I have tried every other format as well as renaming the certificate.
If I load the certificate onto the phone using PC Suite and then use file Manager to open it, I get "Unable to open. File type not supported"
If I upload the certificate onto a web server and then point to it with the web browser I get a 'File Corrupted' error.
Can anyone point me to what I am doing wrong? I really don't want to give up this phone but it is useless if I cannot get my work meial to function properly. It will be back to my Windows Mobile phone....

PC-Suite sync fails after Firmware upgrade of E65

After firmware upgrade of E65 PC-Suite stops syncing Calendar & Contacts from outlook. No error messages, just "0 entries has been updated".
- PC-Suite updated to 7.0.9.2
- Outlook 2003
- XP Prof.
Any ideas?

The funny thing is - the notes are synced???? If I restore some old contacts they'll double up in outlook, so I think the problem is, that the sync app doesn't see the outlook contact & calendar folder.
Does somebody has an idea?

I have an iP4500, which I assume is quite similar to your model.
I had to reset the printing system to get things printing again. Only takes a few minutes and no problems at all since I did it a week ago or so.
Plug the printer into the USB port on the Express and restart the printer.
Open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock) and then open Print and Fax
Right-Click in the printer area on the left and select Reset Printing System
Then click the + (plus) button at the bottom of the printer list to install the printer again.

Have you restarted your phone?
If so, try a reset. Press and hold the home & sleep/wake buttons until the screen goes blank, ignoring the power off slider if it comes up.
Check for the app again after the phone starts back up.
