No data after upgrading DB to 10.1.0.5

We have a Grid Control installation with 2 loadbalanced OMS's (10.2.0.2)pointing to a 2-node RAC DB cluster all running on Linux. We upgraded the repository DB from 10.1.0.4 to 10.1.0.5 and since then if I look at the OMs metrics in "OMS and Repository: Management Services and Repository ", the "Last Upload" time for all the metrics is the same day we did the DB upgrade and all the Management Services and Repository metrics say "No data available". Grid Control seems to otherwise be working OK. Where can I look to try to determine why the OMS metrics are not being updated properly since the DB upgrade?

The agents are fine. I'm not getting any metric data related to the performance of the OMS itself (like Number of Active Agents or Loader Throughput).

I have strange problem with Lenovo G580 with Windows 7. After upgrade bios to newest version and reboot my system start without any user data (no documents, no programs installed earlier), All reboot take short time, about 1-2 minutes. Only username stay the same.

Welcome to the Lenovo Forums.
That's really strange indeed and very unusual as I've never seen a BIOS update delete a user's data before. Perhaps you're logged-in to a temporary user profile?
To check if you're logged-in to a temp profile, show hidden files and navigate to C:\Users and check if you have an identical username with a dollar sign right next to it and apply this fix:

Re-loading data after upgrade from OS X 10.4 to OS X 10.5

I cannot install OS X 10.5 over the top of 10.4 because I have upgraded the hard drive in my Macbook. Can I create a bootable version of my hardrive on an external drive and then transfer that data after I upgrade to 10.5? I am wondering if the fact that my bootable drive would have 10.4 on it would cause problems.

Yes, in fact as soon as you install Leopard/10.5 & reboot to it, Migration Assistant will open & ask if you want to import Users, APPs & such from another drive or Mac, choose yes.
I am wondering if the fact that my bootable drive would have 10.4 on it would cause problems.
No problem, in fact you could choose which Drive & which OS you wanted to boot from, & back & forth.

Fortunately I have a PC backup of the data and when I tried to restore the music to Itunes I was getting error messages about my MAC hard disk being full. Is the data still there? If so where? As it is not showing and a search for music on the hard disk yielded nothing. The capacity of my HD is 250GB and before the upgrade it had about 125GB free. I suspect the data was not removed but merely 'marked for deletion' and parked somewhere during the upgrade.

GL Custom Reports not displaying source and line item Data after Upgrade

Hi,
I am having this issue even though General Ledger Journal Entry Summarization is set to "No Summarization" and in SLA the Line Type is set in detail for Transfer to GL. Have you come accross a specfic example like this? Can you please guide me to what the problem may be?
None of the GL reports is showing the Source and Line Item details.

None of the GL reports is showing the Source and Line Item details.Have you verified the queries of those reports after the upgrade? And, when you say upgrade, do you mean from 11i to R12?
Did you set the application context properly?

Unable to update item master data after upgrade

Greetings,
I have just upgraded from 2005A SP01 PL22 to 8.81 PL05.
After the upgrade, I am unable to update any field in the item master data.
Error message:
In "Warehouses - Setup" window, on "Accounting" tab, choose sales-type revenue account , '_SYS00000001165' [Message 131-52]
I have checked all the warehouses accounting tab and all the revenue account is a sales type account. I have also checked the GL for _SYS00000001165 and it is a COGS GL. After I change its type to "Sales", I am able to update. This shouldn't be the case.
I have also tested creating and update new item master and I have no problem. However, I will have the same problem if i add a new item via duplicating from an old item.
Any advice?

Can you also check whether the Item which you are trying to update has Manage G\L Account by as Item, Item group or Warehouse?
If you have checked for the Warehouses, check for the Item Group and at the G\L Determination > Inventory tab as well.

Missing content management data after upgrading to 9.2

Hi,
I upgraded an 8.1 SP4 portal domain and application to portal 9.2
My application makes use of the BEA Repository and has a few content types and related content. I am using the default Pointbase database. When I upgraded the domain using the domain upgrade wizard, I chose the wizard to upgrade the database as well as it was Pointbase.
After the upgrade, I noticed that the content is missing from the BEA Repository. In fact I opened up the database using the Pointbase Console and saw that the CM_NODE table does not have any rows at all.
Is there something else that needs to be done to have the CM data upgraded as well?

Do you have a backup copy of the domains 8.1 SP4 PointBase database files that you can share with me?
The data in the CM_NODE table (as well as all other DB tables) should be preserved during upgrade. For CM the following .sql files are executed during DB upgrade so no data loss should occur; $WL_HOME$/portal/db/pointbase/cm9_create_tables.sql

HRC 8.02 not finding any new data after upgrade

Client CCX upgrade from 5.02 HA to 8.02 HA. I used the PreUpgrade tool for the migration, no known errors.
However, after installing the new Historical Reporting client and running some reports, no data is found since the upgrade.
Anyone know if I need to enable something to fix this?

Not able restore iphone 4 data after upgrading it to ios 7.1.2

I have upgraded my iphone 4 ios to 7.1.2. I took a back up of iphone data on my computer(win XP) using ITunes. However, now I am not able to restore my iphone data from ITunes. It is giving me error like "error occurred while restoring this iphone (-50)...." something like that
I am stuck on my Iphone and it is showing me only set up iPhone screen. If I select restore from ITunes backup option, it is showing connect to iTunes screen. After connecting iphone to iTunes, it shows error msg like "iTunes was interrupted while restoring the contents of the iphone......" and if I say continue restore I get error message "error occurred while restoring this iphone (-50).... Even I tried restoring iphone to factory setting then restoring backup from iTunes but no luck.
Can anyone guide me on how to resolve this issue. Appreciate immediate help on this.

after upgrading I have been getting the slide to setup screen and I could see 3 options, so I selected 3rd option to restore from iTunes backup. Then I go this error "error occurred while restoring this iphone (-50)....".
Now after several try and restoring iphone to factory setting I am able to restore data successfully iphone. However, I still see the slide to setup iphone screen. I am not sure what is the issue. I am stuck and not able use my phone. not sure how to get rid of this screen and set up iphone screens.

Incorrect dates after upgrading to Elements 12

After converting my Elements 11 catalog to R12, I noticed a large number of photos had the date I had assigned changed to a totally erroneous date. 12/1969 was one group. Prior to the upgrade, I had written the metadata including tags and dates to the actual picture files.
Is there a way to rebuild the catalog using the original picture files and have Elements pick up the metadata info from the actual file? The alternative is to manually reapply the correct dates which is a monumental task.

S_ALR_87012178 does not show any data after upgrade from 4.6C to ECC6

We do upgrade and do testing to all functional process realted.
When open S_ALR_87012178 in SAP ECC6 no data showed, but in old version (SAP 4.6C) data showed although we select the same parameter selection.
Any setting missed ? or any suggestion about this issue.

Check the following.
I have checked your request, and there are two 'ways' the report
will send out the data:
1. In a 'normal' list
If you call the report in the 'standard' way, the data get displayed
in a normal list. This is the standard.
2. If the 'ACCESSIBILITY_MODE' flag is set in the user parameters.
With this flag, the reports output is done with the ALV Grid display.
About this ACCESSIBILITY_MODE flag, refer to the note 929036,
which describes the 'function' of it.

We checked in SMSY it is still showing BI 7.0, we have also done option " Read data from system " but it did not work.

When you clicked in "Read system Data Remote", were the information returned with success in the logs ?
Usually the informations aren't pushed because the READ Rfc's are failing.
If you run job LANDSCAPE FETCH, the information are being collected correctly ?

Hi Nicole,
First of all I am afraid that I am not an expert in this area. My impression is that the HTTP destination type is created on the receiver side (i.e. BW). If that is the case, then I think t/code SM59 is the right place where you can also create other connection types than ABAP (please refer to paragraph 4.1 of the document which was mentioned in the other discussion).
However, I suggest to involve a basis/system administrator and if possible also an XI consultant to come to a solution. My gut feeling says that it's a connection problem which has to be solved in either the BW system, XI system or in both systems.
