NO DATA AVAILABLE IN TCODE MC+E

Hi Gurus,
When i am running 'MCE' T code,no data is shown.I am actually trying to gather customerwise invoice data which should also show customer name,which is not available in VA05N.In this case i have checked the statistics groups both in customer & material master and in both the places '1' is maintained.Please suggest me the necessary configurational steps,so that i can generate the report as per requirement through MCE.

When you are extracting the data from R/3
the Remote users come into play check in the r/3 the job is successful or failed with that user
a) there may be authorization issue ask basis consultant to swith on the trace from ST01 for the remote user
b) also chekc in SM58 is idocs are generated some times it will be in queue because of some RFC issues
so needs to check that also

this kind of error belongs to In correct time Zones, OS Time and R/3 Time was different, please set both time zones same in all clients using STZAC Tcode
again if not slove your problem then fallow this procedure.

The system displays the Contents of table TCOLL screen. Ensure that the report RSSTAT83 is scheduled hourly.
if not scheduled hourly, then execute aboue report in SE38

How to attach and run std payslip available through tcode HRFORMS

Hi all,
Need to have much data along with graphics on the payslip. This includes Leave data(days paid, LOP, Payroll days, etc.), gross salary break-up, Year-to-date details, Tax details(line items), Standard Salary components, company logo, custom messages, etc. on the payslip. We are running India Payroll on SAP 4.7.
<b>Wanted to know how to attach and run standard payslip available with tcode HRFORMS in place of the one we have with tcode PE51?</b>

ST03N no data available

Hi gurus
When I am executing ST03N Tcode and viewed details in Expert Mode it shows data only upto 21st april 2009 i cant able to see the other date days
Please let me know how i can see the last data after 21st april 2009
When i am choosing the server in workload its saying that no data available for server after expanding in day tab its showing only upto 21st april 2009

Hello Raju,
Please check if the SAP standard job background job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR is scheduled in background of your system in periodically. Seems this job didn't run after 21st April on your system.

SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR is not a transaction, it is a standard background job supplied by SAP.
Being a beginniner does not mean you need to ask for help in a forum. Your first step should Always be to do Basic research, such as in SAP online Help, or in the forum itself. Only after exhausting your basic searches should you raise a question here.

SQL Report not showing data - available in SQL Workshop and SQL Developer

I am having an issue with developing a SQL Report in APEX 3.2.1. I run the code in both SQL developer and SQL Workshop and I get data pulled back (both against my development environment). When I run the same code in a SQL Report region, it returns no data available. Does anyone have any idea what would be causing this? Other regions on the page accessing different tables in the same schema return data without issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Could you explain the last comment a bit more. Here is a bit more info just in case I touch on the info with it. The db schema is BPAMGR, the Workspace is BPAMGR. We use the same schema for all of our reporting. All of our tables are in the same schema. We don't use any tables outside of this schema. Our APEX workspace has been associated to only this schema. The tables are able to be queried by SQL Workshop in the same APEX instance that the report application is under.

How to hide the report "No data available" message

Hi,
When there are no results from a query execution I would like to hide or at least replace by 0 the "No data available" message.
I'm working on BI 7 and the query is included in a web template that has a button to export to excel and the objective is that this message doesn't appear in the exported file.
Do you know if this is possible? If yes please tell me how to do it.

Thanks for your answer.
I will explain my issue a little bit further.
I'm working in BI 7 and I create a web template that contains five queries and a button to export all the queries results to an excel file.
So when executing the query in the portal, depending on the selection criteria inserted some of the queries show the message "No data available" and using the button to export to excel the generated file include that message too. It would be preferable to delete the message in the web and in the excel file, but we need to replace at least in the excel file.
I don't know if this is possible with some script so if you have some export script example please post it here.
If there is some way that when no records exists return zero I think that with a formula I can hide the result but I don't know how to get the 0 value....
If you can help in some way I would be very grateful.

Oracle 9i Database -- Performance window in Grid Control not data available

I have Grid Control 10.2.0.4 on Red Hat and i monitoring some Oracle 9i Instances. When i go to any of these instances to the Performance section, at begininig , ever, not data available in all the graphics.
When i select manual refresh the graphic begin to build information. But if i close the explorer and reopen , all graphics not have any information.
Is the situation normal for all Oracle 9i databases?
The explanation is that Oracle 9i not have AWR ?

You have too few RAM on your machine, even you could successfully create an instance, it's going to slow as hell.
When you run DBCA to create database, instead of actually creating the database you could choose to dump the SQL scripts and files used for database creation to a directory. This way will give you a chance to modify pfile and reduce the SGA parameter. I believe the default SGA of instance created by DBCA is already beyond your RAM limit.

XMP Data available only with Photoshop CS6

Hi,
We are using an image vault to manage our pictures and i made an InDesign JavaScript to retreive images description contained within the XMP datas.
The text entered in the image bank is good in the browser.
When i open the image in Photoshop CS6 (and older), the XMP data shown is good.
When i open the image in others application (Bridge, PSD CC or my InDesign Script), only the old data is showing (prior to the image bank text update).
To make the good XMP data available to all application, i must open the image in CS6, make a "save as" and then the good XMP is showing through all the application. With an image bank of over 30000 images, this is hardly a solution.
This is what the header looks like when exporting the XMP datas)

Info IDoc received with status 8 in BI but Data available in source system

Hello Experts,
I am loading Budget Period (attributes) into PSA in BI.
Budget Period data Loading Issue : No data available while loading. But source system ie ECC has data in that data source
Data source: 0PU_BDGTID_ATTR
This is full load.
I checked that whether I am making any mistake during data selection. I could not find any issue. Message while loading data into PSA (Yellow Traffic light)
No data available
Diagnosis
The data request was a full update.
In this case, the corresponding table in the source system does not
contain any data.
System Response
Info IDoc received with status 8.
Procedure
Check the data basis in the source system.
Already looked this thread and googled also.
Re: IDoc received with status 8.
Check points:
sm58 - NO issue
BD87 in ECC (RSINFO Idoc status: 03) -sucessful
BD87 in BI (RSINFO Idoc status : 53)
ST22 - NO issue
sm37 - Job is successful (I could see Idoc no in ECC source system in Job log)
I am not sure if I am missing any thing.

Hi all,
I've got exactly the same issue with several extractors. I'm inialising the Master Data in a all new system, in the Quality the loads succeeded but in Prod it failed.
For instance with the basic DataSource "0FUNCT_LOC_TEXT", I've made the following test:
RS3 (R/3) - > 0 data
ST22 -> no short dump
WE05 (Idoc) - > everything is ok
I reactivated the Datasource in R/3 (RSA5) and then deleted it and replicated it in BW but the same issue occured.
Any ideas?

SSRS 2008: how to show an empty chart with legend and x and y axis when no data available

I am using SSRS 2008, I generated one chart in report designer with the data from Analysis Services (Cube).
According to the dataset, there is no data returned when I run the query. so when I preview the chart, there is nothing but "no data available" showing on the chart.
Here I want to know is there any possible to show an empty chart with legend and x and y axis?
If it is possible, can you tell me how can I make it?

Hi,
When there is no data, the chart displays the message "no data available". But using a little work around, you can display an empty chart.
Please find the below steps given to achieve this
1. Create a new dataset using TSQL to return 1 row of data having the category field and value field set to 0. Add the fields that are necessary for the category fields, series fields and datafields.
   A simple example would be like
   SELECT 'abc' as Category, 0 as Amount
2. Add a new chart, set the category field to 'Category' and set the data field to Amount from above dataset created in step 1.
3. In the new chart, right click the category axis and select axis properties, Click on the labels tab, check on
'Hide axis labels' and then click ok
4. Now set the Visibility property of both the charts depending on the rows returned from your main dataset
   a. click on your main chart and set its Hidden property to :
=iif(CountRows("MainDataSet"),false,true)
   b. click on the new blank chart added and set its Hidden proprety to (the opposite) :
=iif(CountRows("MainDataSet"),true,false)
   Note : Please change the dataset name in above expression "MainDataset" to the name of your chart's dataset
5. Resize the new chart to the same size as your main chart, then position the new chart on the place as the main chart.
   (Note : You can set the position of new chart to be same by copying the location property from the main chart)
6. Now run and observe the result. When there are no rows returned by your main dataset, the new chart (the blank chart) should be displayed.
I've added a working sample of this kind of a report

Flash chart - Error - No chart data available

Hi
I have a Flash chart that shows the message "Error - No chart data available" (not the no data found message).
If I run its query in sql*plus (using the same parameters) I get 4 rows (with url, label and value columns). I am clueless about how to start investigating this as the chart does not show any other information... Any advice?
What does that message mean? Obviously is something different from no data found?

Thanks for the reply. I did what you said and found out the problem:
chart Flash Chart error: ORA-20001: get_data error: ORA-20001: Fetch error: ORA-01843: not a valid monthThis was caused because I used the following construction:
where date_from = :p5_date_fromIf this was a report, this would run fine as I set the date format mask using a application level process. However, as Flash charts use separate database connections, they ignore that setting (btw I posted a message about this problem).
I fixed it hardcoding a format mask in my SQL. Not nice but it works!

First thing you can check that job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR is runningby t-code sm37.
This job runs in client 000 under user ddic with periodic of one hour.
If not schedule it in t-code sm36
Login as user ddic to client 000 ,execute t-code sm36 give the job name SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR, give abap program RSCOLL00 AND GIVE PIRIODIC VALUE ONE HOUR THEN SAVE AND RELEASE.

Winmail.data are not usable files. They just preserve RTF within the message.
