No data selected for printing in production server t.code J1INCERT

Dear Gurusl,
I am facing a issue to tds certificate printout through t.code J1INCERT in production server. My client has booked the invoice in the month of march 2011 & remittance, bank updation is done in the month of 30th Apr. 2011. But while taking the printing out it the error No data selected for printing 8000I. So I need some permanent solution.
For invoice booking fiscal year is 2010 & remittance, bank updation it is 2011.

Dear:
Check whether you have selected the relevant tax types for invoice posting while posting the vendor invoice. If its correct then Vendor Master data, Section/Business Place code Address data. Check tables in SE11
J_1IEWT_CERT_N
J_1IEWTCALID_N
J_1IEWTNUMGR_N
In these tables section codes might have been maintained directly. Please check these for any discrepancies.

Issue Description:
When i am doing J1INCERT, for one company code it is working properly...but for one specific company code it is giving the error that No data selected for priting (message no 8I000) that to specifically in one client only....where for the same company code in another client it is working.
I've checked all the settings, and tables which are client specific, and finally i didnt succeded in finding the route cause of the error.
Can someone have any idea why this error is coming.....and can give some insight abt this to resolve.

I had a problem with cheque printing in production Server. TCODE - FBZ5
It is working fine in Development Server with proper alligned data but not coming alligned data in production server. I compared, dubugged and checked the allignment...there is no difference I found.
Could you please let me know, where the problem is occuring.
The amount is not coming properly and coming out of the box.....but it is coming properly in development server.

For Amount field you must print like &amount(C)&. And it must be printer settings only. Because i gor same like this error while printing cheque. at that time Basis team had made the changes in printer settings.

Need a single point of view on date selections for Delta and Full load IP's

Hi Experts,
Every year we are facing issues on date selections for data extraction, for example the Delta or Full selections for particular IP is like 2005 to 2008 , in this situation, for the year 2009, this IP is picking 0 records as the selections are upto 2008 only.
My requirement is, I need to check the selections of all the IP's in the system and want to change on need base if the selections are getting expired instead of going and checking manually to each and every IP as the system is having around 3000 IP's, which is a tedious job.
Guys, please let us know if there exits a Table/Program or any other way to check it.

A further question re. Printing of Graphs
There are many similar questions but none where the answers are acceptably adiquite or two or three were the link was broken,

site, unfort it was hard to find or guess the rest of the link.
So here is my angle on this problem;
So far I have tried;
Using property node: "App. Printing.Default Printer" to select the printer to use, then

Initially using existing XY-Graph controls from the front panel. These
are on a page of a Tab control to hide these controls while not in use
and allow them to be hidden while generating the printout.
Unfortunately when this page is hidden any graph scales set to
autoscale don't, (normally don't need to and would otherwise be a waste
of processor time), resulting in graph plots going off scale or
becoming a line along the axis.
An issue is that what is printed appears to be read from the screen, so resolution is much
lower than required for for printing, resulting in rather pixellated
printed versions. These prints will usually be emailed, so tried the
pdf995 "printer driver" but the resulting pdf file size is rather large.
Currently trying Plot-XY on a much larger picture so as to get
adequate resolution for printing, however suspect this will result in
much larger pdf files and probably cause other problems.
The preferred solution in this case will probably be to generate print
output, instead of based on raster images (ie jpg or png), but on a
vector format, maybe via postscript or directly in pdf format.
Similar graphs currently printed from Excel via pdf995
(or OpenOffice) result in files around 20 kb per page. these can be printed at any size
(at least upto 64 times) without becoming pixellated, so assume these
are vector based.
Currently a page with 4 XY Graph controls uses around 40 to 45 kb per
page but resolution is poor and overcoming that may push file size up
to 150 to 200 kb per page, and the whole job can be 50 to 100 pages.
Are there any functions to generate XY graphs directly in a vector data format preferably in pdf or via PostScript format.

Hi Darryl,
I was able to reproduce the issue you were seeing, in which a report generation was taking up a large amount of space per page in a PDF utility. I found; however, using my attached VI (notice that it is set to *.png) and the CutePDF utility (free download at http://www.cutepdf.com/) I was able to get a per page size of about 10 KB. Also using the png I found that the image quality seemed to be quite high.
Please try incorporating this solution into your application and see if it reduces your file sizes.

Setting date format for the entire SQL Server installation - SQL Server 2008 R2-2012

Hi,
I need to safeguard the behaviour of SQL codes that inserting into SQL tables with some date columns. For this purpose, I need to change the date format for the SQL instance and not using CONVERT and CAST.
I've seen the SET DATE FORMAT statement, but if I use it, could I solve my problem?

The language setting is related to the database user.

Data cleanup for customtables in production system.

Hai,
My requirement is a list of custom tables data should be deleted in production system based on some selection-criteria.
Any one can suggest how we can achive this.
Shall I write any Zprogram or any other way.
I have written code for one table .
Reprot ZTesdel.
Tables : YDCS_COMP_CR.
DATA itab1 type STANDARD TABLE OF YDCS_COMP_CR.
SELECT * FROM YDCS_COMP_CR INTO TABLE ITAB1.
DELETE YDCS_COMP_CR from table ITAB1.
Please any one can tell the same code will work for deleting records from YDCS_COMP_CR or any other piece of needs to added?

Depending on the nature of the data, there might be a legal retention period to be observed.
Also check for dependencies to other tables, foreign keys, so you don't end up with a corrupt database.
If it is data in the GB range, don't delete in one chunk, or the redo buffers might overflow. Instead fetch packages of x records, delete them and do a commit work before reading the next package. Use OPEN CURSOR WITH HOLD and function DB_COMMIT for this purpose.

Start Data Selection for Header Tabels fail

Hi!
The above mentioned activity fails because tabels COEP and COBK are vergy large and it seems that I run into a time out.
I found the note:
1166229 - Customizing the select statement within Fill Header Reports
I' am not a CO spezialist and I don't know which field I could take to add additional selection criterias on this tabels.
As much as I understand this tabel save CO data and since I transfer with TDMS just the last 2 month of our production system, my idea is to select e.g. just year 2009 for COEP and COBK.
Any hint or proposals??

1. Check if all the recommendations as per note 890797 are followed.
2. If yes, run the troubleshooter for the activity.
3. Here, under "Change Technical Settings for Conversion Objects", change the size category for the table to Large.
4. Go back to the Troubleshooter screen and run "Troubleshooter for Conversion Objects" -> "Automatic Repair"
5. Restart Data Selection
Hope this resolves the issue.

Migrating Endeca Application and Data from development to a production server

We need to move an Endeca app (including data domain) to a production server from a development server
I installed EID 3.1 in the prod server successfully and this is what I did after the install:
1. Created a new application in Studio (name: JULY2014POC)
2. Manage Pages - Import the .lar file
3. Copy JULY2014POC.worddat file and JULY2014POC_indexes folder to new server, location: domains/endeca_server_domain/EndecaServer/data with all the servers down. Then restarted endeca server, ps server, and studio server.
4. When I try to create an Endeca Server connection it gives me error (Connection definition format is valid but unable to connect.)
5. This is my entry:

Hi Sergio,
How the data import and export works is what you have to look into. Whenever you export your content it gets exported to a particular directory. If the same directory should be referenced by the code base as well which would be mentioned in the properties file for fetching the configurations.
If they are not aligned they won't pick it up. Also you will have to create pages like endeca-server and make it the default page in your properties file.

We've a production server where we had deployed the visual studio based solution which contains all the web parts and their business logic. Production server is up and running live and end-users have started using it as well.
Now, some issues and change requests have been reported regarding some components (web parts). We've made all the relevant changes. However, I want to deploy only those selected components (web parts) instead of entire solution again.
So, as per my understanding, if i include the selected components in the package/feature then at the time of deployment, wsp retracts the old solution and deploys the new one. When the new one won't have those web parts which didn't updated then portal/site
will start giving error and site will be collapsed.
Another option is to create another farm solution in Visual Studio 2010 and add the updated components in it. Then, we may be able to deploy it. Then, i'll be able to remove the old web parts from the selected pages and deploy the updated one.
Is there any better option which anyone could let me know?

Hi Sohaib, your another option is a good idea, only make sure to retract and remove the original from your farm, the add and install the new updated solution. And if you run into any error that says features already exist, you can use powershell, install-SPSolution
and -force to get the new solution deployed. http://tinyurl.com/q8erz72
Or, you could use Upgrade-SPSolution with a package that has same features from original, with the new artifacts. Although, if any of the original features are modified, I would recommend retract remove redeploy.

I have created PO for STO and delivery (Delivery Type NL) through billing VF01, billing type (JEX) and creation of excise invoice, T-code u2013 J1IIN with reference to Proforma Invoice, it is working fine.
I have maintained the billing output (JEX) in condition records (T-Code- VV31). When I have save the proforma invoice and selected the issues output system showing Error u201CNo output has been selected for printingu201D Message no. VF302"
Can any body tell me what is problem for configuration steps or I have missing any steps?

check the following things :
Go to VF02 ->header data ->output-> click on analysis
Check the access sequence (key combination) in your output type details.t.code V/40.
check wheather the output procedure has been assigned to the output type or not
check the condition record has been maintained or not VV31 . If maintained check the key combinations entered, transmission medium also .

Automatic change of data selection for full update

I have created datasource for full update and load data mannulay on weekly basis by date selection in infopackage.
If I want to schedule the job on weekly basis, is there any way to change the date selection in infopackage for each data load.
i.e. if the previous range was 1st to 7th for full update, then next it should become 8th to 14th.

Go to that infopackage - dataselection tab - calday field - there will you will type (near to TO value ) - there enter 6 for abap routine and give the name..
Eg :
data: l_idx like sy-tabix.
          read table l_t_range with key
               fieldname = 'XXXXXX'. " XXX- techname
              l_idx = sy-tabix.
data : date_low like sy-datum,
        date_high like sy-datum.
        date_high = sy-datum - 1.
        date_low = sy-datum - 5.
        l_t_range-low = date_low.
        l_t_range-high = date_high.
        l_t_range-sign = 'I'.
        l_t_range-option = 'BT'.
          modify l_t_range index l_idx.
          p_subrc = 0.
Here in the above eg , we are loading daily data from the interval of last 5 days.. ( from 03.02 to 07.02.08)
