No Default of Personnel Number and Name in Record Working Time

Hi,
In Record Working Time, I have done the necessary settings in CAC1 and CAC2. Every filed that I have selected is appearing except PERNR and Employee Name. Not only that, the fileds themselves are not appearing let alone a value for those. Is there something I am missing?

These fields dont appear in Record working time in ESS till EHP4, From EHP5 these can be seen
but these fields wont be shown
SO this is standard

Hello Guru's,
IN ESS- Record Working Time - the number of rows visible are set to 8 in the Web Dynpro Java Code.
I had a look at the Note:
Note 957741 - Few lines in the data entry grid of the timesheet webdynpro
The question I had is to have more than 8 rows visible, is it Java Code modification or any other alternative to change the number of Visible Row....
Please reply back asap.

Looks like if need to change the no of rows need to do the WDJ code modifications.
Interesting to know the other details in the message.
But in the reply the interface you mentioned what for that is used,
Since when checked the where used list of the attribute it calls ADD_INITIAL_LINES_TO_TIMESHEET even in the debug it is not allowing to do the changes to value which is 6 by default.
Since the value is constant it cannot be changed.
what was your intention when you gave that reply, curious to know how would it solve the issue.
And one other questions In the Java Code

it is set to 8 why is it different in both the cases.
Since, when we login to the Portal it shows no of rows visible as 8 not 6 as it is in the interface?
any thoughts on this.

Put a RFC trace through transaction ST05 and run the Record working time application.
You can see it yourself which RFC is being called.

Changing the default tab in Record Working Time iview of ESS

Dear experts,
How can we change the Default tab from WEEKLY to DAYLY in Record Working Time iview of ESS .

We have been told by SAP this is not possible to do.
There may be some changes to this in Ehp 5, but I am not sure.

CAT2 Header missing Personnel Number and CC since EHP4 upgrade

Before upgrade, We had Personnel Number, Name and CC as part of the header, along with Entry Period and Week.
Since EHP4 upgrade the Personnel Number and Employee Default CC are missing in the header.
How do I get them to display again?

Importing CD to Artist folder\Album folder\file with track number and name:

I have a problem then importing my cd’s to my harddisk using iTunes.
On my previous pc I got what I want, Artist folder, Album folder and file with track number and name:
e.g.
D:\My Music\B.B. King\Blues On The Bayou\01 Blues Boys Tune.mp3
D:\My Music\B.B. King\Blues On The Bayou\02 Bad Case Of Love.mp3
D:\My Music\B.B. King\Blues On The Bayou\03 I'll Survive.mp3
But now I get:
D:\My Music\Compilations\Blues On The Bayou\01 Blues Boys Tune.mp3
D:\My Music\ Compilations \02 Bad Case Of Love.mp3
D:\My Music\ Compilations \03 I'll Survive.mp3
In iTunes my settings are Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced: iTunes Music folder: D:\My Music and checkmark in both: “Keep iTunes Music folder organized” and “Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library”.
My version of iTunes is 8.0.1.11

It will depend on the album. Gracenote considers anthologies, a collection of tracks by the same artist taken from different albums, as a compilation. In iTunes the compliation setting should really only be applied to a collection of tracks by different artists.

There's no option to edit/delete the iPhone cache, the cache will be overwritten in time.
If you can't wait, only restore as new can get rid of it.

Output SAP Mail Message - Payer Number and Name

Hi,
I'm trying to set up our sap system to output a message if a sales order goes into credit block. I have all this working and the last part of the request is to include the payer number and name for the sales order on the mail.
I have set up the following against my output
Replacement of Text Symbols
Program: SAPMV45A
Form Routine: TEXT_SYMBOL_REPLACE
and then I have the following mail title:
Sales Order on Credit Block - PAYER:&XVBAK-KNKLI&
I would like to include the name in this, or in the text for the message but I do not know how to extract this. Any ideas?

if you now have set up the WSMessageListener, this one can also be called by external functions. Alternatively you can call any MII transaction as a webservice.

It will be displayed in the SD (BIlling document) itself, you clikc on the VF03. The customer name and number will also appear in the SO document also Tcode VA03

Dynamic profile DP90: Tranfer personnel number and activity type

Could you please be a little more specific? the process we have is as follows:
Service Order (client) --> times notification to service order (using CATS) --> billing request --> Invoice
We need to link the data in the billing request/invoice items (which correspond to the times notified by CATS) to the rest of data not trasfered existing in CATS.
Can you please explain the difference between those characteristics that are used to create the dynamic items and those that can actually be transfered to the SD Document?
We are able to transfer today to the SD documents the service order number but that is not enough. Additionally we would need in the SD doc. the time confirmation number or another variable so we can find the rest of information for that item (personnel number, activity type...)

Error in personnel number and transfer

I need to run pre program DME: Transfer. The employee has the number 4 and the company code is BP01.
It shows me an Error:
Error in personnel number and transfer number     00000004 01
There is no entry in table for key:        T012K BP01 AR01 GIRO1
Error in personnel number and transfer number     00000004 01
There is no entry in table for key:        T012 BP01 AR01
I checked the T012 and I set the bank 01, but I can´t get into the T012K.
What does this error number refer to?

Go to SM31 and try maintaining V_T012K_CORE, V_T012K_D, V_T012K_W.
This is because the table T012K can only be maintained through restricted views.

yea there is a connection between Applicant No and Personnel no
Infotype is 0139 (EEs Applicant No). Now how to use it????
what you have to do is that when you have to add this infotype 0139 when you are running your Transfer Applicant Data. Indirectly it means that when you are maintaining different infogroups of Transfer Applicant data add this infotype.

Hi Mark,
Try infotype 0709 or database table PA0709 if you are looking to link PERNR with PERSONID_EXT.
For SAP username and PERNR, look at IT 0105 subtype 0001 which is usually the case but can be different for customers as per business process/strategy etc.

DESCRIBE TABLE or similar to get number and name of a table fields

I want to use a sentence to get the number and name of the fields contained on a table or structure, and i cannot use DESCRIBE TABLE. I cannot find a way to get that info, does anybody know a sentence or method/funcion for this?

can get list of fields also from variable which is not defined in DDIC. But has to be global.
