No "delete all" option for texts on 5800 Xpress Mu...

Am I just blind, i thought this was standard on all phones (all the ones i've had before have had it). I have to delete each text and message one by one which is tedious at best, is there a delete all option for the inbox/outbox that i'm just missing somewhere?

this is simple all you do is select mark all in options menu and then delete.

Hi, Just came across your post here, I've only just encountered the very same thing. Seemed a good idea at first to have a backup of deleted programs, but yes, you are so right, trying to free up space or, as in my case, following the recommendation from Sky to permanently remove all deleted content in an effort to rectify a glitchy planner, yeah right! This will take an age!The only current way around this, and it is only to be used as a last measure, is to perform a complete system re-set! But remember, doing so will delete EVERYTHING and basically you end up with the box as it was from new! Then you simply start again with setting your reminders and favourites etc. If anyone goes down this route, just try and get in the habit of EVERYTIME you delete something, go straight into the deleted tab on your box and permanently delete it from there, now you will never end up with such a list to have to delete individually again!I know that this is an extreme measure to take to accomplish what should be much quicker, but until Sky release an update to the Sky options that would enable a multi delete option, this is about as good as it gets, otherwise be prepared for a very long spell of sitting there button pushing. When is there going to be a select all/delete all option in email? I need to search for certain emails and delet them from my phone but not my email program (Outlook)

when will there be a select all/delete all option in Emails? I have a large number of emails that come to my phone which i dont want to delete from my outlook mail account (On my PC). However, i want to be able to search, select all and delete these emails from my phone? I do not use ICloud either as it causes issues with my calendars at work.
These features should be a standard as there are plenty of other users out there that are trying to do the same thing and as yet there has been no progress? I am using N73 phone and here i cant go to the message settings option for text messages. actually i want to change my message center.
Message > Options > Settings > Text Message
When i tried to follow above steps it finally ends up with the Main menu. But previously it works fine. I want to know there whether there is another way to set it or i need to go for a phone software installation.

The settings can also the sent directly to your phone as an auto install sms from your network. Contact your network and request they send you the sms.

If you are having issues deleting a specific message from an iMessage conversation (not seeing the Trash icon), you may want to double-check that you are following the steps outlined in the following article:
How do I delete a message?
To delete a message, tap and hold the message bubble, then tap More.
Tap Delete All to delete all the messages. Or tap to select the messages you want to delete, then tap .
After you delete a message, you can recover it only by restoring from a backup.

I have 7 email accounts on my phone. If I tap EDIT while viewing the Trash folder in any of them I see "Mark All" on the left and "Delete All" on the right. If you tap any message, however, the legends go away.

Deleting all emails for 1 of 2 email accounts in the Message area

Background:
I do not have Blackberry Enterprise ServerI have 2 email accounts setup on my Blackberry Pearl 8130:
1 personal Yahoo account and 1 work account
Everything works fine, I receive email for both accounts, all is good. Except that I get 200+ emails a day on my work account!I do not want to go in and delete work emails one by one or in groups The lowest number of days I can choose to choose in General Options -> Keep Messages is 15 days (and it looks like that is an overall setting, I would like 2 days for my work account and 3 months for my personal account which is a whole other question)
So, I deleted my work account from the Email Settings thinking that all emails linked to the work email account would ‘go away’, then I will just recreate the account later. BUT all the emails are still in the Messages area, all 1500+ work emails that I want to get rid of.
Question:How can I, without going 1 by 1 or in groups of emails, have all the emails in the Messages area deleted that are for a specific email account?I do want and need to keep my personal email on my phone so I can’t just in and “Delete Prior” as it will delete my personal emails that I need to keep on my phone
Any thoughts?
Or does it matter if at some point I end up with 10K emails? I'm not sure.

Since you can't do a Delete Prior, the only other options is to hold down the SHIFT button (lower left button, may look like aA) to scroll and select groups of emails to delete. There isn't a way to only show emails from a certain group to delete. You can either delete all at once, Delete Prior by the date, or select groups of messages.

Second phone number for a contact wont appear as an option for text messaging on iPhone 4/IOS6

My iPhone 4 (IOS6) is a work phone and my number is blocked (I have to call a lot of people while out of the office who I don't want to have my cell number). Since I want my friends to know it is me when I call I save their phone number in my contact list with *82 in front of their number. However, I learned that text messaging doesn't seem to work with *82 in front of the number so I also have each contact saved as a second number without the *82 at the beginning for texting only. After "upgrading" to IOS6 I have found that my texting number won't show up when I type the contact name into the address bar in the text message app, just the *82 number that won't work. It used to list all numbers associated with that contact. I know I could just send them a message from the contact card one time and then just open the thread in the messaging app every time after that, but since I am often driving when I am out of the office I use Dragon dictation to compose my texts and then only have to type the contact name into the address line each time instead of typing an entire message. Long story short, I really need it to list all numbers for each contact and not only the one they randomly decide I might want. I have also checked my contacts and ensured that the non-*82 number is listed first in the contact card, that didn't change anything.

There is an option in the Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. Of course this means that your screen layout will be reset but maybe this will 'bump' those hidden apps out of the 'invisible 5th row'. It's worth a try I guess. Did you check to make sure the apps weren't pushed to like the very last screen instead?

As far as I know, nope. And it's logical, considering the Initialization is a "one time" process and not a repetitive one (unless you have to reinitialize, of course...)

Delete All option missing in iOS 7

I am trying to "Delete All" SMS to free up space and improve my iphone4 performance . The option is missing in ios 7.1.2 .
Though still one can select by user/search by set of messages and "Delete All"conversation , a blanket "Delete All" SMS is missing in ios 7 .
I remember it being available with older OS versions .Can someone respond if this option is available ? or if not , is Apple trying to re(institute) part of the next OS update ? Any help on this is appreciated .

As far as I can remember from my 3GS days to now my 5S there was never an option to delete all in SMS - or one that I can recollect.
You'll have to delete each message thread one by one.
I'm glad there is no option to delete all message - otherwise we would have a bunch of threads about accidentally delete all message how do I get it back, then blaming Apple for a oversight or flaw.

Delete all instance for the BPM process

How can I delete all instances or specific instance of the BPM Process except redeploy the process and unchecked the keep all instance option??

Just a small correction. When you ReDeploy Workflow SCA file and Uncheck the option to keep running instances, if I am not wrong, all OLD instances are NOT deleted. They just become STALE (change the status). BUT these instances are still there in the Database but not show up in the Worklist/Workspace app. You may see these Tasks but you CANNOT open them and it says like Task Details Not Found etc.
But if your intention is to delete the instances permanently, then see the earlier post on how to delete from EM. This will take care of permanently deleting.
