No dice on installing new Flash - like soo many others

I'm certain this is a duplicate thread discussion in which I apologize. I thumbed through the last 3 pages of thread topics and none of which really addressed my problem/solution.
Running Windows7 Home with 64-bit
IE 8
Unable to install the new Flash which is really bogging down production. If this goes on any longer I'm going to abort this mission and look for a sharp knife to drop onto.
I have deleted 64-bit Explorer from my computer
I have tried to install a 32-bit EI9 which is not supported on my computer (Windows 7 - 64 bit)
I have deinstalled all previous Flash players (even the new ones saying they are there but don't work)
I have tried installed the beta test "square" 64-bit version
The 64-bit version states it is on my computer but I am still unable to view content and have been prompted for the 20000 time to upgrade to the latest Flash.
I'm not sure what much else to do which brought me to this forum. I'm pseudo savvy but it appears this is over my head. My husband is an Apple guy and won't even touch a PC. So it's this forum, divorce or suicide......not sure where the day will take me.

How does it "state" that? What prompts you to upgrade? What is your currently installed Flash Player version?

Like so many others I have not been able to access or send emails with iCloud now loosing business. Not good enough and lack of info from Apple is also not good enough!

Unfortunately, Apple does not yet allow merging of Apple ID's. if you were once using [email protected] as your Apple ID then there is no way to link that ID with the new one to avoid losing the previous data under that old ID. You will have to either go back to using the old ID to save the old data or just keep both, which you arfe allowed to do.

Why should we install new plugins , like updated version of flash as plugins are in the browser so firefox should update it ?

I want to repeat that why should i install Shockwave Flash 10.2 r152 as plugins are in the browser, it will be if you let me know ?

Wish to uninstall corrupt flash player before installing new flash player

Hi there,
My old flash player (FP) is corrupt. As recommended by Adobe, I need to un-install the old FP program before installing a new FP program (flash player 9). But before I can un-install the old FP, I need to disable temporarily the add-on's to my browers, extensions, BHO(browser Helper Object), ActiveX, etc. The objective is to "block" any add on from preventing an un-install or an Install.
Does anyone out there know where these things are in Mac OSX 10.2.8 and how to disable them?

Can you SafeBoot the computer and then run the uninstaller, if available,
for that old of an OS X version? Was not even sure of any support for
Jaguar, since there really hasn't been much for Panther 10.3.9 for awhile.
Must be older players, since the latest ones have been too new for those
older OS X systems, also.
At this moment, I have no ideas on where the parts may be in hiding; and
have not used Jaguar for more than three years, having both sold and
donated the computers I had which best ran Jaguar 10.2.8, (& dual-booted
OS9.2.2) at the same time. A slower transition than expected, since then,
to actually doing more with computers & less learning about repairing them.
Not sure how supportive the Adobe Uninstallers for Flash (and/or Shockwave)
Players are for those still capable of being used by Jaguar 10.2.8; and like so
many of the browsers, older versions 'sort of work' while being left behind.

& revert to the earlier full system clone; or if last but not least, Archive & Install.

One path, I've read about but cannot verify since the original link (site was wiped) is invalid now,
was to follow this suggestion, from the time you downloaded the new Flash Player 9 for 10.2.8:
"Get Flash Player 9 for Mac OSX1-.1-10.3. After downloading, DON'T open it...yet. Search all your hard drive
for "Flash Player.plugin". Delete any you find. Search for "flashplayer.xpt". Delete any you find. Empty the
trash. Quit all browsers, and install the Flash Player you downloaded. Next, search for "Flash Player.plugin".
Copy it and paste it at Library/Internet Plugins, unless it's already there. Paste it at yourhomefolder/Library

I can't install new Flash player on my Mac

problem with new Flash player installation on Mac 10.9.5 and Safari : it download, starts installing and stops at 81%.
I went through all the proceedings shown on Flash Player support and it still does not work

Did you also try the offline installer http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_osx.dmg ?

Can't install new flash using winetricks

I am not able to install any newer Flash then the default Flash 7 which can be found inside bin32-wine. When I ran a program which opens a Flash animation and I right-click it, I get "About Macromedia Flash Player7"

And it seemed to install just fine. But even though I rebooted, Flash 7 is still used.
What can I do?

To better assist you with this issue we need to know:
What is your operating system? (Windows or Mac) (XP, Vista, 7, 8)
What browser do you use? (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari)
Are you seeing any error messages?
Can you provide screenshots of the error messages (if applicable)?

Installing new flash player?

Please can someone help me? I've been trying to install the new flash player 11.7 for days and it refuses to install. I have internet explorer 9 64-bit, windows 7. I've tried everything that everyone has said. I've turned off my firewall, enabled scripting, disabled active x filtering..etc. Everytime it's the same message, Unable to find reliable source. I've also tried downloading the offline installer and I keep getting the message, Installer interupted. The download time kept going up from an hour to 2 hours etc. Then it would say interupted. I have dial up so I wonder if that has something to do with it. Has anybody else had this problem and if so what did you do? I've even tried turning off my antivirus settings. Help someone!

Yeah okay that didn't work. The download countdown keeps going backwards. Instead of counting down the time of download it keeps going up and up. Until eventually it says download interupted. I really don't know what the problem is. I downloaded the uninstaller just fine. So why can't I download the installer? I've had older versions of adobe with no problem, but this new one just doesn't want to download. It sucks because it cuts into my youtube addiction. How do I look up the log install files?

Click on Safari -> Preferences
Under Security Tab, make sure "Allow all other plug-ins" is checked.

Firefox updated - forced to install new Flash - doesn't work, but does in other browsers

Auto-update to latest Firefox. Loaded, then warned to load new Flash. Done. It works in my other browsers fine, but only shows me non-functioning images in Firefox. (When I go to YouTube).
They don't appear at all in one of my sites - but work fine in other browsers.
I have; "Plug-ins up to date" in my Flash check.

The problem seems to be related to Flash and Video drivers. Try updating your video drivers first of all.
As a temporary workaround try hovering your cursor over the place where the pop-out button should be below the YouTube video screen, then left click there. The video will then display in the pop-out screen.

Following Plugin Update Does Not Install New Flash-player Plugin

openSUSE 12.1 64 bit computer.
I removed all of the openSUSE installer default Flash-player apps and installed the new rpm. via Yast. Closing and reopening Firefox does not implement Flash-player, nor is it include in Tools/Addons/Plugins.
This used to work in the previous Firefox version.
Please advise.

Problems installing new flash player

im having problems installing the latest flash player. the
first time i tried my internet protector blocked me and i pressed
deny by mistake, i restarted my computor and tried again but this
time nothing happens, and thats it, i cant download the
installations program.

I'm having the same problem. I go to update my Adobe Flash
Player @ the web address:

im trying to install the new version of the flash player. i go through the easy to follow steps and it starts downloading. when it gets to 50% it keeps saying must close internet explorer first. but i dont have any windows open except the one showing the download. what am i missing or doing wrong?
