No discussion forum for Preview?

I was just looking around, and I was going to see if people had questions about Preview. But I noticed there doesn't seem to be a forum for this. I would think, with all of the options in the latest versions, that it should warrant a discussion area.

Hi there, Heidi --
Just go to your OS Forum . . .
In your case Leopard.
Click below to get there:

Hope this helps.

  • How to integrate Blogs & Discussion Forums for Webcenter Suite 10gR3?

    Hi,
One of our clients has just gone live with a Webcenter 10gR3 Portal implementation (using WC Framework). They're now interested in integrating blogs and discussion forums with their Portal.
My understanding is that blogging, discussion forum etc is not supported in Webcenter 10gR3. Correct me if wrong?
Can someone share any solutions which have been implemented around the same. Eg: I read about using blogs, wiki etc from Webcenter 11g Stack and exposing them web services.
Basically what are the possible options we can explore into?
    Thanks,
    Preethi

Thanks Venkat. Actually we're not considering migrating to 11g I was only looking for possible options and this was one of them that I read the forum.
Thought to adding some more information about this portal: It is developed in WLP so they're on Weblogic Server.
Jon Huang, Director Product Management for Webcenter Suite and Portal tells me
"The WebCenter 10.1.3.4 Additional Services releases contains wiki/blog/discussions and is certified with WebCenter 10gR3 version:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/webcenter/owcs_10134_addtlservices.html
*You'll need to use WLS for these additional services.*"
That answers my question, but would appreciate if others can share any more info on similar implementations, if done.

  • Discussion Forum for One-to-One Training?

Is there a discussion forum set up yet for Apple's one-to-one personal training service? I can't seem to find it in the forums list. If there isn't one, I would like to request/recommend that one be created.

I thought Apple had people who skimmed these forums for suggestions/recommendations/complaints and in some cases to offer solutions?
I don't think it will do much good to talk to the manager of a local store, when what I want to do is suggest changes to the architecture of the scheduling system. For example, it would be nice if we could check on availability of appointment times without first having to cancel an existing appointment.
Also, it would be nice if we could set our browsers to remember our membership numbers so that it isn't necessary to dig out the membership card and transcribe by hand a 9 or 10 digit number every time you want to schedule an appointment. Or, alternatively, maybe we could just use our email addresses and a password to log into the system, completely obviating the need to use a membership number at all? I mean, Apple knows which membership numbers correspond to which email addresses. (that felt good -- I've been itching to use the word "obviate" for weeks now)
All of this is seems to be managed by Apple corporate, not the local stores. You have to log into the Apple website to schedule appointments.

  • Anybody know of a discussion forum for Pro*C/C++?

It would help immensely if someone could direct me to a group with a background in VC++ and Pro*C/C++.
    thanks for any consideration

<<<but if you don't mind my asking why do you want to do it this way? wouldn't it be much easier and cheaper to run QT out of a DV capture box onto a television like the rest us of us who to picture do?>>>
I've been working this way for years, but the picture always looked like s**t on my tube TV. The idea was that, now that I've upgraded to an HDTV, I'd get a much nicer picture by going DVI/HDMI instead of using an analog converter. But you got me thinking, and I plugged my DV converter box into the new TV and, whaddya know, it actually looks great and solves a problem for me. Using it as a TV instead of a monitor, there's a mode called "zoom" that neatly trims off the black bars on the tops (or sides, on a 4:3 image) and puts a great big picture there, just like I'd like it. So, to quote Emily Litella: "never mind..."

  • Support/discussion forum (anywhere) for Entourage?

Can anyone point me to a support/discussion forum for Entourage? I know it's not here. But perhaps someone here knows where the Entourage user community "hangs out".
    Thanks!

I've found some help by googling the issue or error msg and got great results. mostly, they come from either google or yahoo groups, but the M$ newsgroups are probably going to help some too.
just thought i'd throw that out, as googling the error msg or issue has often yielded more quality results than any other single forum when not dealing specifically with apple products/apps...

  • Multi-Process Engine Discussion Forums

This is a discussion forum for the Multi-Process Engine (MPE) Reference Component and A Multi-Process Engine in LabVIEW.
Note:  Both articles should be live by 1/13/09
    Brian K.

    Hello Gerardo,
I was not aware that you work for NI. I have some important questions for you:
Assume we use your trick and wrap a Timed Sequence around the outer Loops of State Diagram Toolkit generated code.
Now the user code runs at a Priority above High Priority, but below Time Critical Priority. Right?
    Questions:
    1) Which, if any, System (RTOS) processes will Preempt User Code running at this Priority Level ?
(Probably the Memory Manager / Garbage Collector, but we are not doing any operations which should make GC kick in)
    2) If the User Code still can be preempted by System Processes, what is timewise the upper bound (apart from GC) of these processes?
    i) The System Processes may run for a long time, so the Time Slice of 10 ms will be the upper bound ?
ii) The time is much shorter, shorter than X ms, where X is ?
Please, knowing this will give us more peace of mind !
And, if you may, which processes may Preempt High Priority?
We have run our endurance test now for 39 hours and it has performed 150.000 Relay Operations as described in the White Paper. It has met the expected Min / Max response time perfectly every time.
It has 24 processes running at High Priority and one Communication Process using Shared variables running at Normal Priority. So the system seems to work, but we must know before deploying the system at the customer site!

  • Welcome to the NI VeriStand Discussion Forum

Welcome to the National Instruments NI VeriStand discussion forum. This group is intended to provide a discussion forum for developers and engineers
using National Instruments NI VeriStand. Through the ni.com support site, this forum and other online tools, you have the opportunity to obtain
information and examples about NI VeriStand and to ask question to help you in creating Real-Time test applications using NI VeriStand.
In addition to answering current questions it provides a mechanism for recording this information and allowing new developers to browse the history
of the group for information that has already been discussed.
While this is not a direct support channel administrated by the NI Applications Engineering group, it gives you the tools to help and support each other (with some assistance from NI Applications Engineers if needed). You may also use this forum to provide feedback and information to NI about the needs for support and for new features.

    Hello Ravens Fan,
I would definitely encourage you and others interested to check out ni.com/veristand which has some more detailed explanation, as this software does many things that are difficult to cover in a short post.
NI VeriStand is a software which helps users to configure and run a Real-Time test application.  This includes Hardware-in-the-Loop testing and model based control in a more configuration based environment than if you were to program this directly, in LabVIEW for instance.  It has many built in features to control timing, data communication, setup your Real-Time target configuration and more.  It is a standalone application, but has many ways to be customized to extend the software capabilities.
The Getting Started with NI VeriStand page has some demonstration videos which are a great way to get some more insight into this product.
I hope this helps, feel free to try it out as that really is the best way to better understand the software.
    Regards,
    Angela M

  • General Discussion forum

I know these are support type forums, but I was wondering if now would be a good time to introduce a general discussion forum for non support posts, and genral"have you seen that..." posts?

I think it's a good idea to have a General Forum which could be for questions that don't fit in the categories that are showing at present.
You could also have  say a Chillout Room where it is just for general chit chat, they are popular in some forums.
