No domain accessible to user logged in from BPEL Console

I am unable to log in BPEL Console installed through SOA Suite 10.1.3.1.0.
OC4Jadmin user integrated with OID. Unable to logged as oc4jadmin user to BPEL console or BPEL admin.

I have exactly the same problem. The problem arose after deleting the directory ...j2ee/home/application-deployments and re-starting the soa suite. It's a really annoying problem. I've tried with oc4jadmin, bpeladmin, and default. My environment is also integrated with OID. My database, and my OID are working correctly.

Thanks,What does the fine Reference Manual say about "v$session"?
OK, I looked it up for you. The very first thing it says about this view is
"This view lists session information for each <b><i>current</i></b> session." (emphasis mine)

Check the Domain.log. I suspect you have an invalid XPATH expression before you reach the first hydration point. Take a look on the Manual Recovery Queue and you should see the Invoke message sitting there.

  • NO domains accessible to the user error while opening bpel console

    Hi all,
I have applied SOA patchset 10.1.3.5 on SOA 10.1.3.1 .After that when I am trying to access bpel console is givving the error like
'No Domains accessable to the user logged in'. I am able to connect to the database using jdeveloper.
I am missing any post instalation steps ?.Can anybody help me please.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Durgareddy Katta.

    Hi
It means that your bpel services have failed to start up. perhaps a failure with patching it.
Did you also patched the orabpel schema? Did you follow the post install tasks?
Look into $ORACLE_HOME/bpel/domains/domain_name/logs/domain.log and ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs, oc4j_soa logs what kind of errors there are related to bpel startup

  • Is there a script or a secure program that I could use to remove profiles after a given user logs off from the system?

I am trying to do this on a network for a specific lab that uses Active Directory. I would like to accomplish this on each individual iMac. The only account that would not be removed after logging off would be the Administrators.
    Thanks.

Also, If I created a default profile on each system, could each user log in and be redirected to that profile and all of their network resources be readily available, and once they log out of the system, they are disconnected and all of their information is removed? (Hope this makes sense.)

  • Search users in OIM from Admin Console

    Hi,
I am trying to search for users logging into admin console as a end user. But my search didnot result any users though there are many users in OIM. I have given all the permissions available to the group in which this user is present and Manage User menu item to that group.
Can anyone one please let me know, if the end-user will ever be able to search for other users in OIM ?
PS: If I add the end user group as sub-group to sysadm group, then everythin works fine, But this is not the solution for me!!
    Thanks in Advance

Permissions to view users are done at the organization level. If you want a specific group of users to be able to search for other users, create a group. then go to manage organizations and select administrative groups from the drop down. Add that group with at least read permissions. Usually if i know requests and such will need to be submitted for other users, i give all users read access to the main organization.

  • Firefax hangs in remote desktop when another user logs in on the console

When I work with remote desktop on a windows 7 pc I could always use firefox without any problem, even when someone else was logged in on the same windows 7 machine. Siince the update of firefox to version 13, ff hangs in the remote desktop session as soon as someone else logs in on the wndows 7 console.

To be specific, this problem occurs in a multiple concurrent user configuration (=hack), where the RDC user and console users are simultaneous users. Firefox will hang, using 50% of the CPU. As soon as the RDC user walks over to the console and switches to that user the hang is released. The behavior is new to v13 and is highly reproducible.
For more info on multiple concurrent users:

  • Error logging in using BPEL Console

    Hi
When I try to login using BPEL Console, I get following error:
"No domains accessible to the user logged in"
I tried link "Goto BPEL Admin". I found no domains there. I am unable to add new domain also.
Can anyone let me know if I need to change any configuration to make this work?
    Thanks

    Hi Badri,
    Check 1:
    First checkpoint where we can identify the detail of error description is checking the following log files;
Domain Log: $SOA_Home\bpel\domains\default\logs\domain.log ('default' is the default domain name)
    - This log file will be created everytime the SOA service is started and will log any domain level startup issues
    OPMN Log: $SOA_Home\opmn\logs\OC4J~oc4j_soa~default_group~1.log
    - This log file will log all the BPEL process specific logs (creation/termination)
    System Log: $SOA_Home\bpel\system\logs\orabpel.log
    - System level logging is provided for infrastructure, AXIS, and WSIF issues
All these log files should give a clear picture about the error which might be causing this issue, based on which you can take necessary actions.
    Check 2:
Check whether the database on top of which Oracle SOA suite was installed is up & running. If not, ensure the RDBMS listener is running & restart SOA service.
    Check 3:
The Oracle SOA suite will be installed on top of a database (Oracle Lite/external Oracle DB), where three schemas would have been created during installation namely Orabpel, Oraesb, Orawsm. These schemas might have got corrupted (or) their passwords might have got changed which throws "No domains accessible to the user logged in." error in Oracle BPEL console. Ensure all 3 schemas are present in the database and their passwords are intact as specified in the datasources.xml/during installation and restart SOA service after corrections.
    Check 4:
If any class files have been added in the SOA suite, ensure they are properly compiled and deployed @ $SOA_Home\bpel\system\classes.
    Check 5:
If you have added any custom xpath functions for use in the BPEL process, you might have added entries in the $SOA_Home/bpel/system/config/xpath-functions.xml. Ensure that this file is well formed.
    Check 6:
If you have deployed any BPEL process recently after which the Oracle BPEL console throws this error, there might be high chance for issues in the deployed BPEL process.
All deployed BPEL processes will be picked up from the following location. Take backup of the existing processes, delete all entries and then restart SOA service.
$SOA_Home\bpel\domains\default\tmp ('default' is the default domain name)
    Refer : http://sathyam-soa.blogspot.com/2009/01/oracle-bpel-console-throws-no-domains.html
    Hope this helps!

  • Strange message when logged in to bpel console

    Hi All!
I just installed bpel on my linux machine. After starting the bpel server and logging into the console I saw this strange message:
    Cannot find instances.
An attempt to fetch the instances using the where condition " ( ci_state = 1 OR ci_state = 2 OR ci_state = 3 )order by ci_modify_date desc " from the datastore has failed. The exception reported is: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist.
Please check that the machine hosting the datasource is physically connected to the network.
Also I created a pl/sql helloworld webservice, and a bpel process to invoke it through a partnerlink. After deploying it to the default domain I see only name of the bpel process in the deployed processes list unlike both the bple process name and the webservice name.
The linux flavor I am using is fedora red hat. The database is oracle 10g on the localhost itself. The bpel version is 10.1.2.0.2.
What could be the cause of these problems. I feel the second problem is because of the first problem that is there. Any suggestions and solutions please.
    Thanking in advance,
    Regards,
    Deepika.

    Hi All!
Ran the script for the view generation. Found it in domain_oracle.ddl. Granted dba privilege to orabpel to execute the script. Redeployed the bpel process. Now no error is there and the bpel process works fine.I think to successfully install bpel on linux box orabpel needs admin privileges.

    Deepa.

  • Complex XSD in BPEL not able to initiate from BPEL console

    Hi,
    The Problem
I have a BPEL application where I need to produce an XML file in the format of an XSD supplied by an external agency. I can build and compile and deploy an appropriate application. When I come to the BPEL console and attempt to initiate an instance of the application. The initiate option sits spinning and will eventually time-out (before I am able to run it).
    The descriptive stuff
The full XSD is available at; http://www.arc.gov.au/zip/SEER_Pilot_tech_pack_v1.ZIP
The schema design is of "homogeneous namespace design" (according to the article at http://www.xfront.com/ZeroOneOrManyNamespaces.html) which consists of multiple .xsd files included under into a single namespace. There are essentially 9 .xsd files. The top level xsd (seer.xsd) includes 3 files.
When I attempt to navigate to the initiate area to run the process in the BPEL console I end up (after timing out) with the java error listed at the end of this post appearing in our Enterprise Manager diagnostic log. The error appears to be a stack overflow from an attempt to load the complete schema distributed in multiple files.
    An imperfect solution
I have modified to XSD to include all the files into 2 schema files (seer.xsd and types.xsd), with seer.xsd still including the types.xsd. This then allows the BPEL to initiate and completes successfully as designed.
The XSDs are included in the project not separately deployed.
I don't want to modify the externally provided XSDs in this fashion. I do want to provide a working solution, that fulfills the requirement.
Any ideas, knowledge or help will be gratefully accepted.

  • BPELConsole Authentication is not working. Can't log in to BPEL Console

I have installed the SOA Suite 10.1.3.10 which I have downloaded from OTN. I have selected the Standard Install and the installation was successful. I can start the SOA Suite without any problem. I can access the Oracle Application Server 10g Release 10.1.3.10 page.
But when I click the BPEL Console (or any other link such as ESB Console) link from the right it opens a new window asking me to enter the username and password.
After entering the username as oc4jadmin and the correct password which was specified as part of the installation, nothing happens and the Username/Password screen is displayed again without any error message. I have tried entering the username/password combination for more than 5 times and nothing happens. It appears that the web page is not communicating to the authentication server. Otherwise it should display an error if the password or username is not valid.
I have checked the log files and can't find anything wrong. I have even disabled the firewall, but still get the same problem. I'm using Windows XP professional on a HP notebook which has 2GB RAM.
I have re-installed the product three times and the same problem exists.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Maha

I think the problem could be linked to the computer name. If I start the OAS Welcome page using localhost ie., http://localhost:8888 and click the BPELConsole then the URL shows http://localhost:8888/BPELConsole. With this, the username/password works.
In one of the old posts in the forum the people have complained that having an underscore in the computer name ie., xxx_yyy causes this problem. I haven't tried chaging the computer name, but the localhost works.
All the controls are working with localhost, but I have issues with the "Application Server Control". After accepting the oc4jadmin/<password> it comes up with an error asking me to "Supply Administration Credentials". The screen shows the username/password fields with the "Store Credentials" button. It also states that I have logged in as "oc4jadmin". The error message is shown below.
    ++++++++
This OC4J is configured to make JMX connections via RMIS and fall back to RMI if the RMIS port is not configured. The RMIS connection on the OC4J instance home on Application Server shara.SHARA_HP is configured but a connection could not be established. The JMX protocol is specified by the oracle.oc4j.jmx.internal.connection.protocol property in opmn.xml
    +++++
I don't know whether I need to set the URL to localhost in any of the config files.
Has any one encountered this issue?
I will check search the forum and then post a new message for this issue.
Thanks for all the responses for the original problem.
