No download options anywhere on any website

Today I noticed nothing gets downloaded while trying to listen a sound file (mp3, wav., etc.) when I choose Download, regardless if I choose "just once or always"? If I choose "complete action using Sound Player", the audio file will play BUT YOU CANNOT DOWNLOAD IT?
And before the moderator posts here like I've seen on 2 other threads regarding this problem...with the answer of long click somewhere on the player to save the file....No, there is no long press and nothing happens!
This issue didn't exist before because I've downloaded the exact same audio file from the same website before using my Android Galaxy S3 and of course Firefox (but a older version).
When I choose download, the filename will appear in the phones download folder, but the file always shows 0 kbytes, and the Firefox/Tools/Downloads is always empty.

Ok, I tried downloading from the same website using the default Android web browser.
It in fact gives the option to download or play with player.
And when you download it in fact downloads to the download folder!
Summary: Firefox 33.0 is the problem.

Yes but there's no point doing it here. As the Terms of Use make quite clear this is a User to User forum. It's Users like you talking to other Users. It's not a channel to communicate with Apple.

Safari 3.0.4 quits when I type to input name/etc. on any website

Since the new Safari 3.0.4 download, I can view any website and use email as before. But whenever I input the first letter of any info. on a webpage (such as my name to make a purchase), Safari immediately quits.
The only way I could post this question was by downloading Firefox to create a user discussion account. So I found a way around the problem with Firefox, but I would like to fix Safari, if possible.
I read the other discussion items on the topic - none exactly like mine. But I did reset Safari, with no change. Also tried to check InputManagersFolder in Library hard drive, which I can't find (there is no folder with this name). I'm guessing it might be some incompatability with whatever program allows you to input info. on a website?
Thanks for any suggestions. In the meantime, I'll use Firefox!

Your Safari preference file may be corrupt. Go to your Finder: Your User Account>Library>Preferences folder. There, move to the desktop the com.apple.safari.plist. Restart Safari.
Now, select a site proving problematic. If Safari is stable, you'll need to reset your Safari preferences to your liking, plus any custom settings found in the Edit Menu (spelling) or View Menu (status bar, Address bar, custom icons in the "Customize Address Bar" ).
If Safari crashes, select "report" on the Quit panel. Then copy/paste the entire crash report to your reply here.

How do I get rid of 'download' option when someone clicks on a photo on my website?

I mad my website in iWeb. How do I get rid of the 'download' option I see on the page. It appears when I click on a photo. If I click on 'slideshow' it is not there. I have my photos in folders on my website. Hope someone can help!

You don't republish any site as 'Ethmoid'. There is no term here that you need to be familiar with!
Did you read Old Toad's post properly? If not then go back and read what he actually wrote, which was - "Once you republish the site as Ethmoid mentioned". Spot your mistake?
Just re-publish your site as you normally would and then clear your browser cache.

Any website that uses the .asp suffix will not open within the browser. Instead, firefox asks to download the website. If I choose to open the .asp file with firefox in the download prompt, I end up in a loop of asking to download/open. The asp websites work fine in Safari.

You can hold down on the open PDF and get the option to Open In - in the resulting pop up window.

I'm guessing your problem is caused by code validation errors: orphaned division tags for example, or mismatched code and document type (i.e. XHTML /> mixed with HTML > style closures).
Start by using the code validation tools below and fix any reported. You'll need an Internet connection for this:

Until today(20.09) when i wanted to open an image on any website it opened, now it asks me with what to open it and it downloads it.

If you downloaded them on your computer's iTunes then they should have gone into the Movies part of your iTunes library, if on a device (iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch) then into the Videos app - they haven't appeared there ?
If you downloaded on your PC and they don't show in the Movies section then you could try searching for them by name (or part of their name) via windows explorer and see if that finds them. Or if you downloaded them on a device and they aren't in the Videos app then have you got a film age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding them, and if not can you find them via the device's spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right) ?

Look into using the FileReference class and its download() method. There are examples in the Flash documentation that should help you.
