No drag&drop features in HTML5

Hi community
Do you know if the drag&drop feature that I know from the Silverlight version of C4C (may release) is available in the HTML5 version.
It could be used for adding employees or products to objects like opportunities or leads. Right now it seems to be disabled in august release.
I very much appreciate any comment.

Refresh dragProxy in List component built-in drag & drop feature

Hi,
I'm using the built-in drag & drop feature of the List component. Everything works fine except one thing. The itemRenderer I use in my List contains many TextInput that the user can fill. The problem is when I drag an itemRenderer to reorder my list, the dragProxy of the itemRenderer doesn't show the text I enter in the TextInput; it shows the original state of my itemRenderer.
Is there any way to update the dragProxy to reflect the changes made in the itemRenderer ?

If editable=true, the user's changes should be saved to the dataprovider when the drag starts. The dragproxy renders whatever is in the dataprovider item

Drag & drop feature missing from konsole in kde 4.7

In kde 4.6 and previous release, konsole support drag & drop the selected string in konsole and do copy paste.
Since upgrade to kde 4.7, this feature gone. Any one know how to enable it or it's a bug?

I will keep my archlinux froze at kde 4.6 tile I have time to change my habit.

My co uses SAP BW with Cognos as the web reporting tool, where one of the product is "Analysis Studio". This studio has the feature where an user can create his own report by the simple use of 'Drag and Drop' methodology.
Does BEx has such feature?
If yes pl. let me know the process ot use the same.

I think I have not been able to specify what I require:
Normally any user is not authorized to create or change any query and it is "Read Only".
But the feature I am looking for is:
The query designed is available for the end user and only the minimum features of selecting the dimensions and key figures is available for the user to drag and drop the required dimensions and key figures to create his own report without having to funnel his requirement to the IT dept.
In doing so he should be able to use the filters and the formatting techniques normally available for any excel sheet.
This feature if available will prompt a user to create a report as per his requirement and take required decisions quickly.

LR 2.1 & 2.0 ~ DRAG & DROP not working correctly with photos when moving, applying keywords

Today this issue started, originally in 2.0, updated to 2.1 and issue continues.
Issue: DRAG & DROP feature with mouse (or pad on laptop) will select multiple photos, (with CTRL & SHIFT key as typical with Windows machines)but when I try to move them to a different folder, or drop them onto a keyword, it will not work.
Specifically, I select two photos to move to a different folder, the selection work, but when I try to "grab" the selected photos, Lightroom defaults to One Photo, and it will not grab it to move it. However, I can "right click" on the intended folder and can select "move selected photos to folder" and that works. This issue also applys to assigning keywords, and I would assume other similiar actions. I should note, that I can "rotate", assign "labels", "stars", and Keywords from Keyword sets, it just happens with the "Drag & Drop" feature.

The feature works correctly in other Windows programs, so I'm sure it's related to Lightroom and not the mouse.
I have a Windows Vista machine, 3GB RAM 160GB HD, ~ 75% free space, AMD Turion X2 Dual Core 70 Processor. Everything has worked fine up until this morning.
Prior to upgrading to 2.1, I optimized my Catalogue. Everything seems to work fine except this feature.

Drag by the actual image area of the thumbnail, not the surrounding 'fake slide' cell.
That's a feature of Lightroom's grid view. Clicking on image area of thumbnail keeps the multiple selection and makes the image clicked the primary select. Clicking on the outer thumbnail area deselects all but the active image.

Drag drop images while composing the forum post

Hi All,
Many time I felt like it would be good if we can drag drop images to the forum post being composed. Similar to Gmail compose, if NI forum composition page also has that drag drop feature, it would be great. But I'm wondering if it's only me or other people are also out there looking for this feature.

I have tried to implement this bean but I'm having problems. I've been using your
LAF package for almost 4 years now without issue. I tried the jar file from the zip
file. I also created a new project and recompiled the java code against the 10.1.2.3
frmall.jar file that matches our app server. I resigned it and it's still not working.
Maybe I'm just missing something simple. When I compile and run the form, I see
the canvas and I can change the text fields, but I don't see how I can drag and
drop items. Hopefully, you can think of something that can fix our problem. I would
love to be able to use drag and drop functionality in an upcoming application.
We're running the following versions:
App Server: 10.1.2.3
DB: 10.2.0.5
JDev: 10.1.3.3.0
Windows XP for the clients
Windows Server 2008 for the servers

Edit: I looked in my java console and saw that my issue was that we signed this jar file with a different certificate. I created a special config as Francois has suggested in another post and included only the DnD.jar file and it worked. However, I can't get the image or multi-line text areas to drag and drop. I'll keep poking around and see if I can figure out what's going on. The console seems to recognize when I'm dragging and dropping from all fields.

Program in Dock Not Opening 'Drag & Drop' Files

Recently my dock icon for Photoshop has stopped opening files when I drag a list of images onto it. None of my other dock Applications seem to be having this problem and still open any document or photo I drag onto it. I love the drag&drop feature and use it all the time; not having it has been quite irritating. Any ideas?

If you restored your system you may have lost this:
"/Library/ScriptingAdditions/Adobe Unit Types"
If you do not have it you can't drag 'n drop in Photoshop. Adobe recommends a reinstall, which is insane. You just need to create the ScriptingAdditions folder in the root level Library folder and put the "Adobe Unit Types" file inside it. Note there is NO space in the folder name. As a public service I keep a copy of it here:

This is from the CS1 version of Photoshop, but it should work. If not, since Adobe doesn't perform that simple service, you will need to reinstall.

[JSP] Drag & Drop and OrdHttpUploadFile...

Is it possible to create a "drag & drop" feature that get a file from desktop to browser and adapt it to an Oracle Multimedia OrdHttpUploadFile object?
Looks like the OrdHttpUploadFormData.*getFileParameter* only get a parameter there is in a input "file" control in the form, but I can't set a value to it programmatically, even with JS.
So there's a way to do something like it?

I am guessing you are using an ImageIcon to put the image into the JLabel. I would suggest creating your own version of "ImageIcon". In the interface Icon, the paintIcon method gives you access to the component which is your JLabel. You can get the size of this and draw the image to fit the components size. getIconHeight/Width() should work ok if you just return the initial size that you want the icon to be.
Another option is to extend JPanel and override its paint method. This would give you direct acces to paint whatever you want, and you can resize your image accordingly when the size changes.
As far as the flashing goes, you might want to post code (use [ code ] [ / code] tags). There might be something there that someone will see.

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to disable drag and drop feature for a document library.
Drag and drop in SharePoint 2013 is a feature that depends on HTML5, which requires version of browser, SharePoint by default doesn’t has feature to disable or enable this.
You can try disabling the drag and drop feature by disabling an add-on in Internet Explorer, or
using Internet Explorer 9 or lower.

Why does the drag and drop feature not work?

I have several files on my desktop. When I try to move them o a new location, they just 'snap back' to their original position. Why doesn't the drag and drop feature not function properly?

I'm just trying to move some files to a new position on the desktop.

No Drag-n-Drop feature for my mounted Adobe Drive in my Adobe Bridge CC

I've developed a custom Drive Connector for our storage server. In Adobe Bridge CC, after connecting and auto-mounting to our server through Adobe Drive 5, there is no Drag-n-Drop feature for my data inside the mounted drive. But, if I browse other directories of my Mac with Bridge, all files are draggable. What could be the problem?
It's quite strange! Because, files within my mounted drive are draggable through Adobe Bridge CS6, but not in Adobe Bridge CC !!!
My configuration:
Mac OSX 10.9.2
Adobe Bridge CC 6.0.1.6
Adobe Drive 5.0.2.16
Our own custom Drive connector

I too have discovered the lack of Drag-n-Drop support in Bridge when browsing assets provided by my Adobe Drive connector. I have tried telling Drive that I support nearly all of the Drive features by adding "Capability" objects to the ConnectHandler's response object (including Capability.COPY and Capability.MOVE), but that had no effect; Bridge still refuses to let me drag an asset provided by the connector.
I would very much like to know what I have to do in order to provided Drag-n-Drop functionality.

Drag and Drop feature not working

I'm using a Mac Book Pro running OS X version 10.7.5 and I find that fairly often, when I click and drag something (anything) that the mouse will not drop or release the item, and the only way I can fix it is to force quit the program. I have been into the system preferences and tried to adjust those features to no avail. This has been accuring for almost a year now. I find that it does this most often after a reboot. For now, if I reboot, I cannot drag and drop anything for about an hour, then after that, the drag and drop feature seems to work just fine. Help!
Side info: I am also using BootCamp with Windows 7, if that helps

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.

I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro running 10.8.3 and all of a sudden the drag-and-drop feature isn't working. I was dragging photos from my job's website and adding them to a folder, but after about three photos in, it stopped working and no matter what I do it won't drop into the folder. How can I solve this?
