No driver for itouch, help?
My Windows computer does not recognize my itouch. I can't locate it on the computer and keep getting a driver error message. Help?

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to deploy a Windows Embedded Standard 7 (trial key at the moment) image in SCCM 2012 SP1 with a very simple task sequence.
I have a 'build and capture' and an OSD TS. I'm testing these on Hyper-V PCs and both work fine when i create stand alone media. The problem arrises when I try to deploy (or build & capture) with a bootable media;
The TS starts, formats the disk, applies the OS, Windows and network settings, Apply Device Drivers etc., but when it reboots into Windows
(or WES7 to be exact) it cant boot. The Windows Boot Manager reports a 0xc0000359 for storvsc.sys
And I can't figure out what's wrong. I will post the SMSTS log further down below. The SAME TS works fine when it's a stand alone media.
I have tried to:
- Apply the WIM manually (nothing wrong - boots fine)
- Create and apply driver package for the Hyper-V machines (from the MSI's Windows5.x-HyperVIntegrationServices-x86 and Windows5.x-HyperVIntegrationServices-x64)
- No dice
- Create a new boot image with the hyper-v drivers in it. No dice
- Google everything related I can think of.
I suspect it has something to do with the lines where it says:
"Failed to find a suitable device driver for device xxx”
It also has a couple of 401 errors when trying to get the packages, but it seems like it DOES end up getting the content.
Please help! What could it be?

Hi, Hope someone can help I've got my ipod hooked up to computer and it's charging and the computer knows its there but keeps saying this - This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1) There is no driver selected for the device information set or element. Please install driver. So itunes is not seeing it either. it is fine on my other laptop, but i have recently bought this new computer which has vista could this be the problem?

Hold down the Option key while you boot your Mac. Then, it should show you a selection of devices. Click your flash drive and it will boot from that.

I had a 640GB HDD in my Early 2008 Macbook and it was just too much it would always freeze up the computer a bit for only a few seconds but ya. Then I realized that it was the size of the HDD that was causing it since the Early 2008 Macbook models can only handle a MAX od 500GB while the Early 2008 Macbook Pros could have a MAX of 640GB (Lucked out there!) lol But ya the Early 2008 Mocbooks can only handle a MAX HDD size of 500GB and that's it!! lol

I have recently recieved messages indicating that my start up disc is almost full. Consequently I need to remove some files from my hard drive. I've backed up my hard drive onto a NAS system & onto an external harddrive. The problem now, is that whenever I try to delete a file, a message comes up saying that if I remove this file from my hard disc it will remove it from all my other devices that are syn. to it. How do I remove a file (movies) from my iMac but not from other devices.

RobertYou're right - this question has nothing to do with iSync!
You're best bet would be to buy yourself an external Firewire or USB 2.0 hard-disk. There's no way you'll get 150gb onto an 80gb drive - certainly not in an instantly accessible way.
Your new Mac would've had the Migration Assistant appear during the initial OS install. This allows you to connect your new and old Mac together via a Firewire cable and automatically transfer your important files from old Mac to new.
Once you've all the files off your old Mac, re-format it and re-install the OS that came with it. If you boot up the Mac from the OS install DVD, there is an option to re-format the HD and install the OS.

In FCP X How do I capture tape-based media (hdv clips)- which I want to import-to my external hard drive? There is only one firewire 800 port on the back of my I mac. The FCPX manual says to import tape footage directly into final cut, which works, but then I lose my external hard drive Do I have to import it into an event, then copy it over to an external hard drive? On Larry Jordan's tutorial, he has 3 external hard drives that show up on his monitor WHILE he imports his tape based media. How is that done? I can only get either the camera to appear OR my external hard drive. thanks for your help.

HI hoping for help pls, laptop was recently repaired& cloned, now will not recognise iphone or ipad, only sees iphone as a camera. Have spent ages trying to reinstall itunes to get so far and for it to fail. TRying desperately to reinstall driver for iphone now , have gotten as far as last steps to find folder in cdrive, found mobile file and there is no driver file at all. Bought a new Toshiba laptop with Windeows 7, 64 bit operating system. Cannot get PC to recognize/connect with my HP printer model Photosmart 7850. Went to HP website to install driver and I am not successful I'm told by one person the driver for these two devices is not available or does not exist. Does this mean that I discard a 4 year old HP printer that is in excellent working order and buy new? Tell me it's not true. >select properties
>click on the compatibility tab under the properties window
>select windows vista service pack 2 under the RUN THIS PROGRAM UNDER COMPATIBILITY mode
>provide a checkmark for the option saying RUN PROGRAM as an administator under PRIVELEGE LEVEL
>hit apply then press ok!

You could try to substitute another driver from another HP model, but its a guessing game.
Update your driver set here: http://support.apple.com/downloads/HP_Printer_Driver_1_1_1 Restart your Mac after you install this.
It may be time to move on from 10.5.

There has never been a reliable firewire ---> USB adapter suitable for external high speed storage. This was a major issue when the MacBooks lost the firewire port a number of years ago (Apple subsequently brought it back).
The only high speed port on the Air is the ThunderBolt port. There are external ThunderBolt drive options out there, but they're somewhat more expensive than traditional USB/FireWire options. -
OS is Mountain Lion, upgraded no problems, used an external Hard drive for my time machine, now my iPhoto will not show any of my photo's or ay new ones I import! Help please!!
Do you get this window when you hold down the Command+Option keys and launch iPhoto?
If not then you're not holding down both keys long enough.

Setting Up SSD Solid State Drive for Cache...Help!

I am trying to configure my system to do really heavy special effects using After Effects and other programs. I bought a new computer with specs below and a Solid State Drive for the cache as recommended in the White Papers. I plug the SSD into a port on top of the machine. I must have it configured wrong because I keep getting the message "disk cache folder cannot be the root of a volume." I don't know how to configure this correctly so my work will use the SSD properly. Can someone walk me through this?
