No email for sender when forwarding

ExternalUser sends an email to ExchUser1. ExchUser1 forwards this email to ExchUser2. When the forward takes place, the email address of ExternalUser is removed, and only the name of the user is displayed in the inline header.
The ExternalUser is not in the Global Address Book.
Any ideas?

Hi,
Is the scenario above what you want to accomplish or the problem you encountered?
By default, when we forward an email from an external sender, Outlook will display the sender's email address in the inline header. The only way I can find to remove the email address is manually selecting and removing it.
If I've misunderstood something, please feel free to let me know.
Thanks,
Steve Fan

  • I imported digital photos but cannot attach to email for send off

I do not know what happened. I imported digital photos from my Olympus into Iphoto without trouble, but when I try to send as an attachment thru email, the items cannot be opened as photos . I had no trouble in the past. What happened?

I imported digital photos from my Olympus into Iphoto without trouble, but when I try to send as an attachment thru email, the items cannot be opened as photos .
How exactly are you trying to send them?
Do you select the photos in iPhoto and use the "Share > Email" feature? With iPhoto or Mail as set as Mail client?
Or do you access the iPhoto Library from Mail via the Media Browser?
the items cannot be opened as photos
When you try to attach them for mailing or after they have been received?
Please explain more so we can understand your problem better. And what iPhoto version and email program are you using?

  • Emails I send being forwarded to me every time...

Every time I send an e-mail, it is forwarded to my inbox and my sent folder. This is getting annyoing. Is there a setting I'm not seeing to disable e-mails I send from automatically being sent to me as well?
    Thanks!

Gmail only does this when you have recent mode turn on, or if you send messages from the GMail web interface. This is done because if you send an email from the web interface, that is the only way you can download a copy of your sent messages to your local PC.
If you send email with a mail client (like Outlook, or even the iPhone), then this does not happen.

  • I cannot pull up or see any pdf documents that are emailed to me as attachments and I cannot attach pdf's to any email for sending?

can anyone help me with this?

Typically the adding of an attachment to an email is done by the email program being used.
Regarding files attached to an email; rather than attempting to directly open these save a copy to your computer.
Use Adobe Reader to view the PDFs that you have saved in this manner (do a "file - open").
    Be well...

  • No receiver found for sender

    Hello,
    Scenario:
Idoc from R/3 to XI and external partner LI.
The idoc has to be converted to xml and sent by email (Email is a Business Service in XI).
    Question:
I got an error "no receiver found for sender" when sending the idoc to XI. In the soapheader of the message I see that the service of the receiver stays empty. How can I fill the service of the receiver in the soap header?
    Thanks for your reactions,
    Erik van Lisdonk

You have to define a Receiver Determination for the Sender & Interface (sending SAP Business System plus IDoc interface) and specify the Receiver there. Furthermore, you will need an Interface Determination to determine the interface of the outgoing email and the mapping that is required to transform the IDoc to this interface.
Finally you will require a Receiver Agreement for the Service 'Email' that specifies the receiving communication Channel (in your case an Email Channel).
This is all well described in the SAP online help. As a starting point, you can have a look <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/19/8dba88b1db634f891622e909565f7a/frameset.htm">here.</a>

  • Help needed finding old MMS topic listing mms emails for dif providers

Ok, Im usually better at this. I meant to bookmark or at least copy and save the information provided in I believe it was a FAQ! someone had wrote up on sending MMS to different providers from the iPhone.
It was great, had a listing of all the [email protected] type emails for sending pictures to diff providers and it worked from the iPhone. Wanted to get that info onto the phone, anyone know what Im talking about and can help point me in the right direction?

I know this list is rather extensive and possibly overkill, but I got the following information from
    http://www.modmyiphone.com/wiki/index.php/MMSEmailAddresses
I've cut out the foreign carriers and text-only/pager addresses... but this should suffice since you are in the United States:
    "US Based Carriers:
    Alltel = [email protected]
    AT&T = [email protected]
    Boost Mobile = [email protected]
    Cingular (AT&T) = [email protected]
    Einstein PCS = [email protected]
    Nextel = [email protected]
    Sprint = [email protected]
    T-Mobile = [email protected]
    US Cellular = [email protected]
    Verizon Wireless = [email protected]
    Virgin Mobile = [email protected]
Or you can simply send a message to [email protected] and they will automatically detect the carrier. Teleflip is free to use. For more information: https://www.teleflip.com/blog/services/flipout/"

  • When forwarding mail i select a group to send mail and when i go to select another group it will not open for me to select other emails in that file.

when forwarding mail i select a group to send mail and when i go to select another group it will not open for me to select other emails in that file.

When you select a "group", it automatically selects everyone in that group.
    If your just trying to add other people outside that group, then in the "To" make sure the curser is just after the last entry and you can hold your finger on that line to get your contact list to pop up or after the last entry you should have showing after that ;
Example:   [email protected]; [email protected];          *notice the ; then a space for the next one

  • How do I select a sender when replying/forwarding email on z10?

    Current setup:
I have a Gmail and two other accounts. All mail from two other accounts is forwarded to Gmail.
I set up all three accounts on Z10.
When composing a new email, I can select any of the three accounts as a sender.
When replying to / forwarding a message, the sender is always set as Gmail, regardless of which address the message was sent to.
    Question:
Is there any way to select a sender for reply/forwarded message on Z10 from the list of email accounts?
Please do not offer to switch off forwarding; I am not going to check three emails on other computers I use to work with emails.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Currently, you can't change the sender when replying or forwarding. It will use whatever account the mail came from on the device.

  • How to get an email online when showing offline for sending. Solutions on site don't solve the problem.

How do you get an email account online when it is showing offline for sending. All settings are correct, previous solutions on the site don't help. One account works find the other one receives but doesn't send. No issues with ISP was found. This may have been happening since OS travel. Took a while to realise it was using the other account for sending.

I just solve the problem. While OS we brought an internet USB and connected to a phone, one or both of these must have caused the problem. When both of the downloads associated with them were deleted the email issue was resolved. regards

I have a new iPad. I am using Comcast as my email provider but when I send a message, it pulls up the facebook email addresses for my  contacts  instead of the addresses stored in my comcast account.  How can I get rid of the Facebook email addresses? The comcast addresses are stored in the comcast (xfinity) app.  I do not use the "mail" or "contacts" apps ....I go straight to comcast (xfinity).  I wish I could start over!!!  thanks.
    iPad

I could be wrong, but it sounds like Facebook imported to your contacts.  I have the Xfinity app on my new ipad, too, but none of my stored contacts from the online version are showing, only what I manually entered into the iPads contacts are there.  When I did add the FB app, I did not grant it permission to push and pull from my ipad (not a fan of FB knowing every detail about me), so that may be where our difference lies.  You could try to open the app and change your privacy settings, or delete it and then reinstall without granting permissions to integrate.
I'm sure someone here with a lot more knowledge then me can probably diagnose your issue better, though.  Good luck!

  • When I try to send email from my iPad I get the message "A copy has been placed in your Outbox.  The sender address hplar45ATcomcastDOTnet was rejected by the server". Prior to this I have used the same process to send email for a year.

I have been using the iPad for email for a year.  WIFI connection cannot be established for some reason, I am stuck on 3G.  I am sitting next to the WIFI router.
Why can't I send email using my only email address hplar45ATcomcastDOTnet?
    Why can't I get a WIFI connection?
    What changed?

    <Email Edited by Host>

I can't answer why you are not able to connect to WiFi but I can tell you to try the basic things, turn WiFi off and on again, restart your iPad, reset network settings, reboot your router, forget your WiFi network and try again .....
The issue with the email is probably a password issue. Make sure that your password is entered in the incoming mail server setting and in the outgoing mail server setting as well. The outgoing server setting can be accessed by tapping on the SMTP under the Outgoing Mail Server Setting and then tapping the smtp.comcast.net in the next window under the Primary Server Setting.
The outgoing mail server setting will be in the first window when you tap on the Comcast account in the Mail settings.
Look here for a few different web sites for help with the WiFi.

Firefox version 35.0. When I open Firefox and get messages, no problems. When I write an email and send, Firefox asks me for password. I am able to send/receive emails while open. If I close Firefox and open, it asks for password when I send. Months ago, I changed my login password to Netzero.com (made it more secure). Since then, I've had this annoying password request. How to satisfy the login server password for receiving/sending emails?

Is it Firefox asking for the password, or the web site? The only time that
FF will ask for a password is if you have the '''Master Password''' active
    in the '''Password Manager.'''
Open the '''Password Manager.''' There is a search bar at the top of the
page. Enter the name of the site. Press the button '''Show Passwords.'''
Is the information correct? '''Note:''' there may be more then one entry.
'''Left''' click the icon in the address bar. A window for displaying site information should come up. Select '''More Information.''' At the top of the window, select '''Security.''' Now select '''View Saved Passwords.'''
