No emails from my website

I have a website with an address for emails to me. All emails arrive on my Windows laptop but never come through on my iPad. Anyone had a similar problem and can advise? All I have come across is that adding another type of browser in addition to Safari may work better but have no idea how to do this or whether it is a sensible solution to try.

Try this while you wait. It usually does the trick:
Note turning off email notifications from this site requires you to go to 3 distinct places in your profile to accomplish that. These steps will do that.
Go to your profile page.
Select the Notifications tab clear out anything that shows there.
Go back to your profile
In the Actions box select Preferences
Select the Email Notifications Preferences tab
Set the values as you like
Go back to your profile
In the Actions box select Manage Email Notifications
delete any that show
that should do it.
Note steps 4 and 7 look the same, they are not. All the steps must be done and the areas checked for this to work.

ICloud is blocking emails from my website

I work for a company that is similar to eBay in that we act as a venue for registered members to sell collectible LEGO items. I work behind the Help Desk and have received many similar complaints from iCloud (@me.com) email addresses. These users continue to complain that they are not receiving email notifications regarding invoices for orders. I called Apple but was on hold for so long, I had to get back to work and gave up.
What I am wondering is if Apple is blocking emails from our website. I would really appreciate it if an Apple representative could contact me regarding this issue, as it is causing a lot of frustration with our community members. We have had to ask users to sign-up for Gmail accounts to receive correspondence, because we simply cannot come up with another solution. Is it possible that we are blacklisted? We did send out promotional emails over Christmas and I am worried we were blacklisted as SPAM senders. Please help me out here, it's not easy being behind the Help Desk when you are 100% sure the problem is not on your end and you can't do anything about it. Thanks!

The reason, I included the annotation that I'd upgraded my Itunes, (On my Computer) is B/C in many forums - the very first question, *HELPERS* ask, is. "Do you have the latest version of Itunes downloaded on your computer." I wanted to knock out any obvious replies.
Now- "DO YOU have any idea,"... how your UNHELPFUL remarks, do absolutely nothing but hurt others that might not have the EXPERIENCE you have? How do you expect people to know things without asking questions? Whew! RUDE!!

Firefox will not display images in yahoo email from DOD websites

I can't see images in email from this DOD website. Used to work but now it is just a big Gray box. http://us.mc562.mail.yahoo.com

Incoming email from Muse website – point size

When my client receives a response from the Contact submission form on his website I constructed in Muse, it comes into his email in minuscule font size and is almost unreadable. He has tried changing the view to “largest” type size but that only alters the size of the heading, not the body text of the messages. Is there a way of controlling the point size of the text of the incoming email from Muse?

I posted this in someone else's question, but it answers the same problem. I just discovered this last night, so I'm hoping I can help other folks having the same issue!!
Question for you... do you use Outlook to retrieve your emails on a desktop PC? If so, then you're probably clearing the email server before your Treo can ping it & get your emails. I finally discovered this on my own after fighting with it for about 4 weeks. I use Outlook 2007, but would assume the path is somewhat the same for previous versions. Try this:
In Outlook, go to: Tools > Account Settings .. click on your email account & click "Change" .. click the "More Settings" button .. go to the Advanced tab .. click the button that says "Leave a copy of messages on the server", and then set the next option to "Remove from server after 2 days".
That did it for me. Hope it works for you!!

Why does firefox go crazy when I try to email from a website?

When I want to contact, say, customer service of a company and I use their email "form" on their website Firefox goes insane
and opens 100 plus tabs and blinks, going so fast that I can't possibly shut down all of the tabs because it's making more

You get tabs opening endlessly if you select the Firefox program to handle a file when you get an "Open with" dialog.

Resubscribing to emails from a website I unsubscribed from

A few years ago I unsubscribed from a gaming website because they were sending me annoying emails every week. Now, I need to receive an email from the same website in order to retrieve my old password. Does anyone know how to resubscribe to an email service

Problem sending emails from my website form

I have a website hosted on my iMac (www.isinglive.co.uk). I have set up a registration form page. When a user completes the registration the php script should send a confirmation email to the registrant and to admin. Unfortunately these emails are not delivered. For most of them I can find no trace.
For two (so far) I have received emails from [email protected] stating:

I do not understand what that means.
My httpd access_log shows:

you need to use a real email server on a network that allows mail to be relayed. For example instead of trying to send through local mail make an email address with your ISP account and then use that to send....
For example i use roadrunner so i might set up an account with my ISP called "webserver" so then i could send using that account. using phpMailer it might look like this:

Not receiving emails from known website

Hi I regularly purchase items on line from a website but when I had forgotten my password and clicked forgotten password link on the site though it said a new password had been sent, no email arrived!
I therefore contacted the website and they said to check I had added them to my contact email list which I had, they said that the browser Firefox may be blocking emails coming through, I really need to get back on to this site can someone please help, they mention cookies, exceptions etc, please see their info below, I am not really up on this type of thing and never had this problem before! Emailing from a website link opens lots of windows

When trying to send an email from a link on a website, instead of opening a window for the email, it opens what appears to be an infinite number of windows instantly. Browser freezes and I have to force quit. It doesn't happen when I fill in a contact form email. It does happen with all browsers. Any suggestions as to why this started happening? Can't always copy the email address since it sometimes just says something like "click to email us" . BTW, I have McAfee antivirus - don't think it is a virus, but I guess it could be. Thanks!

Sorry this took so long, but I wanted to try everything you suggested before posting again.
Unistalled McAfee and MacKeeper, read MacMalware Guide, downloaded and installed AdwareMedic and removed some adware. Still having the emailing problem. Then I ran EtreCheck and here are the results: I am not sure what to do with them:)
Just noticed that ZipCloud is still on here - will uninstall that as well. I realize that my hard drive free space is low, but I have some allocated to Parallels and this is a small and old hard drive - just don't have a lot of space, and I am constantly deleting things. I usually try to keep 20 GB free - I know I need to do that. My bad:)
Also, I have ordered 4GB of Ram to replace one of my 2GB, so hopefully having 6GB will help.

I have uninstalled MacKeeper and McAfee on advice of the community. I also downloaded AdwareMedic and installed it. It located some adware on my computer and I deleted that. I have reset all of my browsers, and the caches clear when I close them. I am still having a problem:
When I try to email by clicking a link on a website, the browser (any of my browsers - Firefox, Safari or Chrome) opens an unlimited number of tabs entitled email (pages are blank) until I am able to force quit. This doesn’t happen if I complete a form on a contact page and press send, it only happens if I click on a link (for example a columnist’s email at an online newspaper or a link to email a video).
Also, my computer is running slowly. Activity Monitor shows that about 1 GB is necessary (system or root), but the rest is small programs or processes that it assigns to me as administrator, but I don’t know what most of them are, whether or not I need them and/or how to stop them from opening automatically. Those add up to about 2GB and my total memory is 4GB. I have deleted everything from “login items” under system preferences.
FYI, I have Parallels installed with Windows XP. Should probably upgrade Windows, but I only use it once a year for a windows only program that I use annually for tax purposes, so I don’t want to invest any more in that.
Can’t think of any other info that might be useful, but please ask if you need more info. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me! Mary

Email from my website has stopped downloading into 'Mail'.

I've checked the settings but it says it's offline. It's fine with all the same settings on my iPhone. Can anyone help? The host site is JustHost.com

Open Mac Mail on your MacBook.
From the menu bar top of your screen click Mail > Preferences

BTConnect SMTP server doesn't accept password authentication.
So, outgoing server just needs to be setup as follows:

Right-click the taskbar and select Task Manager.
Select the Processes tab, and select Show Processes From All Users.
Select any Adobe Reader process, and click End Process.
Repeat for all additional Adobe Reader processes.
Restart Windows & try to view the PDF's.

Emails from websites are not being delivered

If I send an email from another personal account to my mac/icloud email address, it is delivered. And I am still getting some unsolicited emails from vendor websites. But if I am on a website (for example a utility company site) and it says it will send an email to me (for example to reset a password, or to confirm an online purchase) I am not receiving those emails. This has been the case for a few weeks now but for a while I thought I was just missing the emails as I get a lot usually on my mac/icloud account. But I now realize there is a problem, since I only "apparently" received one email in total yesterday! Typically I get more like 30.
Apple Support want a serial number to even log my problem - I don't have a serial number as this is not a hardware issue!

please contact your mail provider about this deficiency in their SMTP servers error reporting. As the error originates with your mail provider, Thunderbird is only the messenger and can offer no more than it is given!

My "mailto" is missing from applications and I can't email from websites.

When I click to send an email from a website, nothing happens. I checked FireFox help and was told to go to Tools > Options > Applications > Mailto and select my email server. Unfortunately, there is no Mailto in the application list.

Hi, i had the same problem. Try to find the file "apple" or "itunes" don't know it anymore exactly. Ahm well you need to delet any information or just plug in your iphone into an other computer. important is that your iphone never has been pluged in this computer before. This was what i did, and it worked!
