No entry stored??

THis has me greatly perplexed.  I have an entry for "John Doe" with all his numbers in it.  I use BB voicedial and say "Call John Doe", BB: Did you say John Doe? and on screen it has text 1.  John Doe  2.  Jane Doe, I reply "yes" and then it comes back with "No entry stored".
OK, in an attempt to fix it, I deleted the whole contact, and put in a new contact under "John Doe" manually inputting all information right onto the BB rather than through Outlook Express, and again, I keep getting "No entry stored".  This just happens to be the one number I NEED for voice dialing as I call this person a lot for business.
Any ideas on what is causing this?? In Contacts, I can migrate to his name, scroll to the mobile number and hit "call" and it will dial so there is nothing wrong with the number input.  The BB is also recognizing that there is a contact by the name of "John Doe" because it says "Did you mean John Doe?".  GRRRRRRRR  Any help on this head-scratcher would be GREATLY appreciated.
I've noticed no other contacts where this happens.
Solved!
Go to Solution.

After scouring the net, I found the answer.  I had to go back into Outlook Express, add all his numbers in my Address Book, and then ran a sync and tadaaaaa, BB voice dialing is now working.  It didn't matter that I had entered them manually on my BB.  The numbers HAD to be in the Address Book before it would work.  All is right with the world again....

  • Where are my Web Form entries stored in the webBasics plan?

Where are my Web Form entries stored in the webBasics plan? Currently—in my trial site—I can access Web Form responses through a Custom Report. Will this option be available to me in the webBasics plan?
My hope is to use the webBasics plan with a Web Form (and a few custom fields) and have the reponses stored for me in the Businsess Catalyst interface.

You do not get the CRM element of BC with the webbasic plan. With BC storing the forms it creates "cases" Which are stored against the "Customer" in the "CRM". You dont have access ot that with the webbasic plan.

  • Where is this ldap entry stored?

    Direcory Server: 5.2
I am looking for the file where cn=schema entry value isstored. I would like to change one of the attribute values. Console edit gives protocol error.
    Help is apprecitated,
    Thanks

    1. modifyTimeStamp is an operational attribute. Many operational attributes can only be changed by the server itself. I suspect modifyTimeStamp is one of them, and that's why you get protocol error.
    2. If in your cn=schema entry there are multiple values of modifyTimeStamp, then the entry must have been damaged as the attribute is defined as single-valued.
    3. Theoetically (I'm guessing here) the cn=schema entry should be in the database file: <slapd-instance>/db/NetscapeRoot/id2entry.db3. But I have no idea how you can fix it.

  • Configtool Entries - Stored Where in Database

We would like to audit our configtool settings.  Since we have many different NW2004s applications, this would be quite time consuming to do from the Configtool itself and be prone to human error.
Can someone point us in to where these settings are stored?  Perhaps if they are stored in the database we can query for them.
Another advantage of this is change management.  Several people have their hands into the Configtool, and we would like to take snapshots of the changes through time.  This might also help us recover more quickly when the application won't come up due to an invalid config done within the tool (UME anyone?).
    Peace,
    John Klaassen

    Good question,
I don't know where the master store is, but a local copy is kept in .properties files on all the server instances.
Let me know if you find the solution.

  • Are ReplicatedCache entries stored even on non-storage enabled members?

I noticed some unexpected behavior in my program:
    * I have a ReplicatedCache defined in my application
    * I have 1 localstorage enabled JVM and 2 non-storage enabled JVMs
    * When the storage node crashes, the 2 other JVMs received a message to do some processing. Those 2 non-storage JVMs tried to invoke NamedCache.values() on the ReplicatedCache
** To my surprise the values() returned the correct data even though the storage node had crashed
** The Coherence doc describes ReplicatedCache as "A replicated cache is a clustered, fault tolerant cache where data is fully replicated to *every member* in the cluster"
    * Does "every member" include non-storage enabled members too? Or is this a ReplicatedCache bug?
    * Does a NearCache also support this "feature"?

    Hi Aswin,
Yes a replicated cache stores the same data on all nodes regardless of whether they are storage enabled or not.
Near caches will only hold values that have previously been accessed via a get or getAll etc. I am not 100% sure but I suspect you get an error if you try to get from a cache with near caching on a storage disabled client when the storage enabled server has gone even if the data is in the near-cache part.

  • Sync calendar entries not appearing in outlook 2010

    Hi there,
I'd be grateful for any help on this one as I'm just bout pulling my hair out.
Basically, when I sync calendars on my iPad 3 using iTunes, the entries do not appear anywhere in Outlook 2010 which is my default mail/calendar client.
    My setup is as follows:
I have iCloud enabled on my iPad, but for some reason I have some of my calendar entries on the iCloud calendar and some on the calendar on the iPad itself.  I thought the easiest way to sort everything out would be to get the entries stored on the iPad onto my PC, then I could easily copy them into iCloud using Outlook.
Within Outlook I have a number of calendars under the main Calendar folder shown in the navigation pane.  Some of these calendars are also on the iPad.
As I had multiple calendars with the same name 'Calendar', I thought it would make things easier if I renamed the calendars on the device.  In this case, I renamed the calendar which has the entries I want on my PC to Calendar1.  When I sync with iTunes and select Calendar1 to be synced, this does not appear in Outlook.  Even if I create an empty Calendar1 in Outlook, the entries are still not being copied over.
I'm running Windows 7 64-Bit, iTunes 11 and iOS 6.12.  I have changed the backup option in iTunes to use my computer instead of iCloud.  This made no difference.
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Hussein.

    Hi there,
As a follow up to the previous post I disabled iCloud and opted to keep all items on my iPad thinking that I'd rather have too much data than too litt.e  I then did an iTunes sync which replicated a lot of data in Outlook, but the renamed calendar still isn't being synced over or the entries that have been added to it.  I put in a test entry on the iPad and it's going into the renamed calendar1 but not showing up in Outlook.
Any further tips.  I've tried installing OpenSSL as advised on another Apple support KB article but this has no effect.
Thanks for any advice on this.
All the best for now and take care.
    Hussein.

  • How to clear Local-Cache Entries for a Query in BW?

    Hi There,
i`m student und i need please your help for my Thesis!!
I execute the same Query many times in BEx Web Analyzer und note a Query Response Time under ST03N using each time a different READ Mode and Cache Mode is inactiv (Query Monitor RSRT).
First time i exectue the Query, it reads also from database, second time it uses the local Cache and  that `s okay!
    My problem is:
When i change the Read mode and execute the Query again, it uses for the first run also the old entries from the Cache so i get wrong response time for the first run!!
I know that while the mode cache inactiv , the local cache will still be used, so how can i delete the local cache entries each
time i change the read mode and execute the Query? In Cache monitor (rsrcache) i find only entries for Global cache etc..
I've already tried to close the session and login in to the System again but it doesn`t solve the Problem!!
i don't have a permission (access rights) to switch off the complete Cache (local and global ).
    Any idea please??
    Thanks und Best Regards,
    Rachidoo
P.S: sorry for my bad english!! i have to refresh it soon:)

    Hi Praba,
the entries stored in RSRCACHE are for global cache, there is no entry for my query in Cache monitor!
i execute the query in RSRT using java web button and cache mode inactiv so, the results will be stored in local cache.
this is as below what i want to do for my performance tests in my Thesis:
    1. run a query for the first time with cache inactiv and note runtime of it
    2. run the query again with cache inactiv and note runtime of it
    3. clear the local cache (i don't know how to do it??)
    4. change the read mode of query in RSRT then run the same query for the first time and note runtime of it
    5. run the query again and note runtime of it.
i'm doing the same procedure for each Read mode.
the problem is in step 4 , The olap Processor gets the old results form the cache so i get wrong runtime for my tests.
Generate the report doesn't help, any idea please?

  • Reg: Value Mapping - Recommended Max Entries/Size

    Hi,
Just curious to know if there is any recommendation on the max number of entries stored and retrieved in a Value Maps.
Is it suitable for storing entries in order of 5000 or 10000. Also is it effecient for retrieval from such a big Map.
Since it is stored in Java Cache, is there any limitation on the size (Number of Entries).
    Anticipating your valuable inputs.
    Thanks,
    Sudharshan N A

    Hi
There will be performance problem if more entries are used in Value mapping.
Value mapping replication will be better choice for huge records.

  • Entries in permissions cache

    Hi,
I am working with Weblogic server 6.1 sp1. The permissions cache size is set to
    10007.
I want to find out the number of entries in the permissions cache. How do I get
the number of entries in permissions cache at any give time?

    Hi Henry,
    Simple approach
Alternatively you could use explicit partition locking. Lock whole partition, invoke entry processor, unlock whole partition (tip you can lock/unlock key even if there is not associated entry in key).
    Complex approach
I in may days before Coherence, I were using following pattern.
Each entity has additional attributes for managing cross entry transactions.
    1. Update one entry, but store transaction object (update details for both accounts) as additional attribute.
    2. Update second entry, but keep transaction ID in list of commited transactions associated with entry.
    3. Remove transaction object from first entry, storing transaction ID in list of completed transactions.
Have recovery process which in monitoring entries with associated uncommited transactions and roll forward uncommited transactions (you can use index to track transaction in process).
Then you applying transaction to entry, check first if this transaction ID already in commited list for that entry.
Simple put, you are keeping write-ahead-transaction log associated with each entry.
General implementation sounds complex but if you tailor it to your use case it may become much simpler.
    * Few cavets, lists of commited transactions may grow. You may need clean them (removing transactions confirmed on all participating entries).
    * Your transaction object should be deterministic.
    * You still have to do with logical concurrency issues, this approach does not support rolling back (at least in simple way).
Haven't tryed it with Coherence yet :)

    Hi Experts,
I assume all cogi deletion entries stored in AFFWPRO table.
If yes, I am not able to find any entries in AFFWPRO table eventhough I deleted COGIs.
What could be the reason? Is there any special note need to apply or any functional module need to get activate?
    Need your expertise suggestions.
    Thanks in advance
    Reg

    Dear Ravi,
The above note 309050 is applicable for the versions upto 4.6C, but we are using ECC6.
Eventhough we are using version ECC6, AFFWPRO is not getting updated (COGI deletion entries).
Could you please suggest what I need to do?

    Hi,
when we want to find data by key, the length of key
    should plus 1.
Thanks,The problem is solved.Of course, the other option to resolve this was to increment by 1 the length of the searched key, so that it would comply with the size of the entries stored.
Here I want to share some of my experience.
when we use the lib with C++, some things should be
    pay attention.
before we configure before make, the commend should
    like this.
    ../dist/configure --enablecxx
by this commend we can get libdbcxx.a
when link we should add -static to the flag, and add
-lpthread to the lib. Thanks for sharing this. Indeed, to build the db c++ library "--enable-cxx" must be specified on the configuration line, and I would suggest also setting the CXX env variable to g++. For loading additional libraries, like "libpthread", than LDFLAGS and LIBS env variables must be set correctly to indicate the location(s) for the additional libraries and, respectively, the libraries that should be loaded.

    Andrei

  • Copying Custom Access Sequences to CRM from R/3

Here is the scenario we're working with:
Use quotes in CRM which are then released to orders in R/3. Would like to use pricing procedures to default in fixed prices for certain materials. Have everything working fine in R/3. I am following the process outlined in the Replication guide.
We created a new access sequence for pricing use SalesOrg/DistChan/Division/Batch. Created table A991 which has entries stored.
Running DNL_CUST_CNDALL does not bring the access sequence across. Tried defining my own customizing object specifying the new table and I get the following error in SMW01:
    <b>Target table CNCCRMPRCUS991 is not actively available</b>
Is there a certain order I was supposed to do this in?

    Hi Raghu,
Please refer the Best Practices document for replicating BP's from R/3 to CRM. Please have a look the following document for your information.
    http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv340/CRM_DE/index.htm
under Technical Information->Building Block Library->B09: CRM Replication. page no.45 onwards.
    Reward if it helps.

  • Technical Link b/w Employee and Appraisal Template

    Hi,
Can anybody please help me in finding the technical link b/w an Employee and an Appraisal Template? In other words, I need to know the table name(s) in which data is stored while appraisal processed is going on. I can view the appraisal form in IT0024 and IT0025 in PA. I can also see the objects VA, VB & VC in PP01, but where are these entries stored in the table.
We are on SAP R/3 4.7 (Enterprise) and using new Objective Setting and Appraisal Component.
    Thanks
    Vikas Bhatia

    Hi there,
Function module 'HRHAP_DOCUMENT_GET_LIST' can be used for this purpose.
In order to find the objects you want, make sure you set the appraisal templates for calling this function as well as all of the other required parameters. If you need help for the other parameters then let me know.
The fields for the template table import parameter need to be set as follows:
    plvar = <b>Active plan version</b>
    otype = <b>VA or VB or VC</b>
    objid = <b>appraisal template id</b>
This returns two tables - the appraisals and the associated documents.
Other tables you may be interested in are :
    HRHAP_T
    HRHAP
    HRHAP_APPER
    HRHAP_APPEE
Hope this helps you out. Any questions, let me know.
If this works, please award the points for this advice.
    Cheers
    Colin.
