No ff header with tools favorites etc

I dwnlded ff 4 android and the ff button shows on apps page but when i bring up ff it has no header with eg tools or favorites. thanx

Co-el, This wasn't possible as there wasn't a navigation bar available. The F11 did the trick though. Thanks for adding to the discussion.

Cant get the font to enlarge inside the email with tools, options, etc.

I went to a larger monitor and the font inside my email is very small. I went to tool, option, appearance and set it for 24 but it is about a 10 or 12. Rebooted but still did not change.

Don't change the default font in Options, that will mess up the display of some websites, and it will affect all websites not just that one. Use Page Zoom to increase the font on specific websites / domains.

Header Footer tool replaces headers and footers in PDF

The header/footer tool replaces the headers and footers in my PDF, this header and footer I am referring to was not added in Adobe but was added in Word 2010, when I tried to add an additional header to my PDF (I added a page number) it replaced the footers that was already in my document. The only way I could get around this is with adding a header instead of replacing, which is quick fix, but as soon as you add more pages to your PDF and want to re-apply the header/footer to update the page number that I added to the header it would remove ALL headers and footers from the PDF.

I am having the same problem. Here are the steps. We created a series of documents in WORD 14.0.7143.5000 32 bit. Each WORD document has a footer specific to that document (i.e. WORD documents are: Business Plan, Market Study, etc. which are each a separate WORD document, each with a separate WORD footer). Each WORD document is converted to PDF with Adobe X. The PDF documents are then combined into a single document with Adobe X. Then with Adobe X we create a new footer (i.e. Document Package, with date, etc.) which is applied to each page of the Document Package. So each page of the Document Package SHOULD have a Footer of : (1) On the Left Margin - the original WORD document (i.e. Business Plan) and (2) on the right margin - the footer inserted with Adobe X (Document Package footer).
Here is where it breaks. The WORD footers are retained when we convert from WORD to Adobe. The WORD footers for each document are also retained when we combine the several PDF's into a single PDF (Document Package). It is only when we add the Adobe Footer to the Document Package that we lose all the original WORD footers. The result is the Document Package has only that one Document Package footer (on the right margin), and we lose each of the footers which were in the original WORD documents (left footers). I tried this two ways. First was to modify the footer, and the second way was to add a new footer - neither works - both delete the original WORD footers. Also, it is interesting because the original WORD footers do not show up in the ADOBE footer box (the screen where you enter the text and other information for the footer).
The use of the Watermark might be possible, and it is probably the work around we will need to use, but it is a poor solution. Please let me know when fixed.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

What to do if Add Header/Footer tool and Bates Numbering tool both get error message? File too big?

Hello,
I'm working with a 700 page / 103 Mo PDF that I need to put page numbers on. Both the Header/Footer tool and the Bates numbering tool result in error messages.
'An error occurred while retrieving the contents of the page.'
I suspect this is because the PDF was made by assembling 30 smaller PDFs via Preview and never down-sized during the process. I would imagine that would create a kind of clunky file. Or maybe it's simply the size that is overloading the software.
Does anyone have any advice on a fix or a workaround for this? I need to put page numbers on. I really want to put them on the composite PDF (going back to the 30 original PDFs would be a real headache for a lot of reasons.)

Hi Eliza,
Your suspicion is right. It might be possible that assembling different pdf's together created from different applications might be the issue.
Try printing the pdf to Adobe pdf printer and then try adding the page numbers and check.

Many thanks wise one for your help w/full res with apple 30" display.. Can't thank you enough. Obviously changing DVI cable worked and as you may have guessed I am now working on trying to increase my font, tool bars etc. size. I have the icons worked out but since you were so helpful and prompt may I impose upon you one more time. I am used to Windows and the accessibility options as my vision isn't 100%. again many thanks for your help. The Universal Access is exactly what I was looking for. I actually did decrease the res to 2048 x 1280 but was still dealing w/small print.. The reason I wanted the increase in Resolution was in Photoshop and Lightroom my images didn't seem to show as well as my 23" LCD screen on my PC..I had heard that this 30" could have been better/or that the Mac Pro graphics card could have been better but I can change that later.
