  • Marketing attribute in the text field, interactive script

    Hello Gurus,
    We are facing a problem in the interactive script, of the sap crm 7.0.
    We know the possibility of set some of the customer data into the
    script by filling bdc field inthe test field and then adding this text
    field to a script question.
    We did it in the customer data "***" by filling the bdc field with "ext
    field marketing attribute interactive script" and this data is showed
    in the script, but we can not show marketing attribute data in the
    script by using text field and bdc field.
    There is a possiblility of showing the marketing attribute in the text
    field or it is imposible due the structure of bol in crm.
    Thanks  in advance.

    Hello ,
    To display or change the marketing attributes of a business partner in the script follow these steps:
    1.  Run the Interactive Script Editor.
    2.  Create a new Question and in the Answer Area drag and drop the "Marketing Attribute" dynamic answer.
    3.  Select the "Marketing attribute will display here when executing the script" object and go to tab "Dynamic Content Parameters".
    4.  Select the attribute set and the attribute name.
    5.  Save the question.
    6.  Drag and drop the question to your script.
    7.  Change the template of the question node to either "Person Marketing Attributes" or "Organization Marketing Attributes" depending on what type of business partner is expected to be confirmed at run time in the IC_AGENT role.
    8  Save the script.
    9.  Run IC_AGENT or similar IC role.
    10. Confirm an organization ( if you used "Organization Marketing Attributes" ).
    11. Run the script.
    When you reached the question maintained above, the marketing attributes will render for that business partner, if they exists or will be created if they don't exists . To be created a button that will do a navigation is required. It means that the question will have to be linked to a next question or to itself by this button (to itself is required only if it is the last or the only question in the script). To suggest to the user that he or she has to click on the button, to save, is probably better to name the button "Save".

  • Field name in database table

    Hi,
    Can we give the filed names start with '/' character, (like /name)? I saw like these field names in standard table MARA. How we create those fields in Z tables?
    Thanks.

    That are fields in Include structure.
    Yes u can create field with / in ur ztable.
    first create a structure by selection data type radio button in se11.
    in that structure create fields with /.
    NOTE: field must have 2 /.
    i.e ur field must be /str/struct1.
    activate it.
    now in ur database table goto edit menu select
    include->insert
    Give ur structure name .

  • Data source issue

    i have to enhance multiple fields from r/3 to bw.
    i have added the r/3 fields in rsa6, extract structure, but i cannot see
    the enhanced fields in the ds.
    extract strucuture has got the added fields, if fields are added in ext str, then
    it should automattically be seen in datasource which is not happening.
    plz guide
    Regards
    Sanju

    Hi sanju,
    I believe u have added fields through rsa6 and after data soruce generation u r not able to see these Z fields in data source.
    If this is the situation... then look into table roosfield.
    u may have to use following code after suitable modification for u.
    Some times this updation does not take place automatically in that case this is the work around but not std. solution. for std. solution u may have to raise oss and get some note no. form SAP.
    The required code..
    REPORT  Z_DS_FLD_UPD.
    TABLES: roosfield.
      ZZCLUBT
    *update roosfield set selection = space
    *where oltpsource = '0CUSTOMER_ATTR'
    *and objvers = 'A'
    *and field = 'ZZCLUBT'.
    U will have to use tcode se38 to write this code and run this code.

  • Declaring an internal table in smartform

    hi,
       can anyone tell how to declare   internal table in smartform.
       the internal table contains fields from 2 or more data dictionary tables(eg.kna1
       and adrc). after this from the print program(internal table containing data in print
       program) internal table should be passed to the smartform.
    thanks.

    hi laxya,
    if u want to pass the data from internal table in print program to Smartform.. there is only way.. that is using form interface..
    1. goto se11, create a structure same as the itab in the print program.ex. <b>z_itab</b>
    2. create line type... se11>select radio button-DATA type><b>z_it_itab</b> >press create>then select>TABLE Type> then entrer some text--> in the line type Field in giveth Str name u have created in STEP 1. activate it.
    3. got SMARTFORMS-> form inteface>tables tabe--> give some name ex <b>IT_tab type z_it_itab</b>.
    then acivate it.. then in the driver progam pass this table data.
    Exapmpel
    CALL FUNCTION fp_v_fm_name

                WITH sy-msgv1 sy-msgv2 sy-msgv3 sy-msgv4.
      ENDIF.
    Another way is cteate a type in Globaldifination-->types tab..
    ex:
    types: begin of ty_itab,
       matnr type matnr,
       meins type meins
       vrkme  type vrkme,
    end of ty_itab,
    ty_it_itab type standard table of ty_itab.
    then GLOBAL DIFINATION>GLOBAL DATA TAB>IT)ITAB TYPE TY_IT_ITAB.
    BUT In this u can't pass the data from the print Program.. if u want to populate data in to this table... u have to write the Select query in the GLOBAL DIFINATIONS-->INITILIZATIONS TAB.
    Please Close this thread.. when u r problem is solved

  • Delivery document change after PGI ?

    Is any way can I change the value of the field of "Ext.delivery" in delivery document(Header-->Administration) after PGI and billing process. And the most important thing I have to mention: it was closed in previous period. Somebody can help on this issue would be appreciated.
    Thanks.
    mlai

    Hi,
    You can use the user exit MV45AFZ1 sub routine FORM USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT.
    Here write a small piece of code.
    if LIKP-LIFEX eq '' .
    Message'External Delivery Number is not Maintained' type 'E' .
    endif .
    I hope this will help you to validate before save the document.

  • How do I add an extension to a phone number in Contacts 7.1?

    Now that the perfectly servicable Address Book has been replaced by overly complicated Contacts 7.1 in OS 10.8.3, I cannot add an extention to a telephone number. A phone number with an extention ends up looking like "4155551234ext3710484". Creating a new field named "ext" doesn't help, as any number entered into this field that is longer than 3 digits is autoformated to a phone number. Some of my contacts now have 6 digit extensions!
    Contacts Help is no help whatsoever. Very frustrating.

    From what I read, using a comma to separate the main number from the extension should work.  It inserts a pause, with each additional comma increasing the length of the pause.  So:
    4155551234,,3710484
    might be long enough for the automated system to pick up and reach the point where it'll accept the extension number.  If not, add more commas.
    Commas will also sync to your iPhone if you have one, and work as intended.

  • Good receipt without PO

    Dear experts!
    Now, I'm getting some Issue about Good Receipt in MM module.
    - The first, I created a material master with transaction code MM01.
    - Second, I want to Good Receipt without PO for the Material with quantity is 40 and price is 12.000 per one.
    I think I will create new movement type.
    How do I have to do?
    Help me, please!
    Best regards Huy!

    Hi Huy,
    You can use 501 movment type and make the field EXBWR- Ext. Amount in LC optional/editable in OMJJ. By doing so you will be able to enter the price and the Vendor and create a GR without PO. In this case it would hit the GR/IR account.
    If you desire not to hit this account then you can either use 202 or you can create a Custom movment type similar to it and make the GL account field Optional. Then you can enter the GL account while doing the Goods Receipt.

  • UDF to capture the source file name or the source folder for mapping

    Hi All,
    i have 2 files -  File1 from File2 from 2 different folders- single comm channel FTP (FCC). i have to pass a constant A and B respectively to a field in target structure.
    my options are -
    either create a new field in source str populating different constants and  then map to the target str
    or a udf to get the source file name or the source folder so that i can map the constant using the value mapping/FixValue mapping.
    please suggest. thanks.
    rajib

    Hi,
    please use the UDF to determine the file name. Then based on file name either pass A or B to your target field.
    The code is as given below. Just tweak the code to pass either A or B as per your requirement.
    public String G_GetFileName(Container container) throws StreamTransformationException{
    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","FileName");
    String ourSourceFileName = conf.get(key);
    return  ourSourceFileName;

  • Java Text Editor

    I have created an applet editor that will enable a user to break a text file down into a series of smaller html files. This does serve a purpose that is not really important at the moment and I don't want to bore you all.
    The problem I am having is that upon clicking the open button and the 2 save buttons, the applet opens file chooser where you can select a file. The problem is that once the file is open, the applet, for some reason starts the openfile() method again. The same happens when using the the 2 saveFile() methods. Can anyone help?

    The apps listed at java-tips.org are just some of those that happen to be written in Java. If you want an editor that does syntax highlighting and other programming-specific tasks, you have dozens more options. A few Windows editors that spring to mind are EditPad, Crimson Editor, Scite, UltraEdit and Notetab. Then there are the old Unix standys, Emacs and vi, which have Windows versions as well. I use EditPad Pro, which isn't free like many of the others, but is worth the money anyway, IMO.

  • How to search for a word in a text editor

    Hi,
       I have created a custom container and added some text to it. Is there any method to search for words in this?

    Lilan,
    To search a character field for a particular pattern, use the SEARCH statement as follows:
    SEARCH <c> FOR <str> <options>.
    The statement searches the field <c> for <str> starting at position <n1>. If successful, the return code value of SY-SUBRC is set to 0 and SY-FDPOS is set to the offset of the string in the field <c>. Otherwise, SY-SUBRC is set to 4.
    The search string <str> can have one of the following forms.
    <str>
    Function
    <pattern>
    Searches for <pattern> (any sequence of characters). Trailing blanks are ignored.
    .<pattern>.
    Searches for <pattern>. Trailing blanks are not ignored.
    *<pattern>
    A word ending with <pattern> is sought.
    <pattern>*
    Searches for a word starting with <pattern>.
    Words are separated by blanks, commas, periods, semicolons, colons, question marks, exclamation marks, parentheses, slashes, plus signs, and equal signs.
    <option> in the SEARCH FOR statement can be any of the following:
    ABBREVIATED
    Searches the field <c> for a word containing the string in <str>. The characters can be separated by other characters. The first letter of the word and the string <str> must be the same.
    STARTING AT <n1>
    Searches the field <c> for <str> starting at position <n1>. The result SY-FDPOS refers to the offset relative to <n1> and not to the start of the field.
    ENDING AT <n2>
    Searches the field <c> for <str> up to position <n2>.
    AND MARK
    If the search string is found, all the characters in the search string (and all the characters in between when using ABBREVIATED) are converted to upper case.
    Pls. Mark

  • Creating jTbale that reads a text file

    hey,
    i want to make a Jtable out of a text file such that if there are blank spaces it should enter the text into a new column and if there is a new line then it should be entered into a new row. ...like if there is a text file such as
    1 2 3
    4 5 6
    then it should be entered into a JTable of 2 rows and three columns.....following similar topics in forum I have written something like this
    try          {
          Vector data = new Vector();
         vector data1 = new vector();
          String aLine;
           String aDouble;

             // create a vector to hold the field values
             Vector column = new Vector();
             // tokenize words into field values

             while (str.hasMoreTokens()) {
                // add field to the column

  • Sending "Cookie" header  with JRE 1.5.0_07 doesn't work with JWS

    Hi
    I have a JWS application that runs from JRE 1.4.0_XX to JRE 1.5.0_06
    The app sends a "Cookie" header to our webserver
    HttpURLConnection tc = (HttpURLConnection)repository.openConnection();
    tc.setRequestProperty("Cookie", "GLINK=TOKENID");
    Now this has worked thru 20 different runtime versions since 1.4.0_xx until JRE 1.5.0_07 was released. My code has remained unchanged for 3 years. And with JRE 1.5.0_07 the "Cookie" header is simply gone in the webserver or never sent at all. The changelog for 1.5.0_07 only has a rough description of what has changed. I can see that SUN has made som changes to class HttpUrlConnection in 1.5.0_07 by comparing class files against 1.5.0_06 and apparently disturbed som funtionality that worked before. Other headers are received but not the "Cookie" header. If the application is executed without JWS, for example with Eclipse or Jbuilder, the "Cookie" header is received by the web server and all other headers as well.
    Any ideas what SUN has done in 1.5.0_07 and JWS ?? and more specifically in class URLConnection or HttpURLConnection.
    Here is some code example to test the issue:
    Run this code with and without Java Web Start
    With JWS, the "Cookie" header is never received by the server.
    without JWS, the header value is reveived.
    import java.net.*;
    import java.io.*;

    out.write(str.getBytes());

    out.write(str.getBytes());

    Hi,
    I decompiled the HttpURLConnection implementation in question from the rt.jar file. I do not think that you can find the source code for these SUN-specific implementations anywhere (except maybe through the new Java 6.0 collaboration process).
    JAD did the trick.
    For the standard classes (packages java.*, javax.*), I think that the most current source code is included in the corresponding JDK download.
    As to the JWS vs. standalone effect, I do not know what happens there.
    Maybe Java uses a different HttpURLConnection implementation when running as a standalone application?
    For our applet, the problem is definitely there. The cookie header was set but already removed when the CookieHandler method was called.
    The trouble is, that our applet can operate multiple independent sessions (with different session-ids), so a global CookieHandler is not an option. The only reason why I previously had to implement my own CookieHandler implementation in 1.5 was in order to remove unwanted Cookies which were otherwise inherited from the browser session by the CookieHandlers applet default implementation.
    I also entered a bug report (on Wednesday already)...
    regards,
    Gunnar
