No file size appears when I save a .pages file

When I save a .pages file there is no file size listed in the directory. In the file directory it says only -- where all the other files have a size in KB or MB listed in that column.
What's going on here?
The file can be opened without a problem. And when I right click on the listing and choose Get Info, the file size is there in that pop up window -but not in the listing.
I cannot email this file either -because, I guess, it reads the listing as an empty file.
I can convert it to a .doc file and email that, but as a .pages file I get nothing.
What's going on here?

Which email provider are you using? There are different solutions possible for different providers. Yahoo is having trouble with attachments, outside of any Firefox issue. I've seen a Google user fix this by manually adding the mail URL to their ad block program- which mistakenly perceived the webmail page as an advertisement.

I can't personally as I never really liked nor used the picture frame feature in iPad. Just search in the App Store and read customer reviews and you'll likely find something you'll like.

Strange files appearing when I save in illustrator CS2

I recently upgraded my OS to leopard and since i did this i have been having this strange problem?When I save a file in illustrator (CS2) it is also creating some kind second archive file (Acr1860018314.tmp for example) does anyone know what is causing this it is really annoying.

When running Apples latest operating system with an older version of Adobe applications you are likely to encounter issues that there will be no fix for. Illustrator CS2 was released over a year before Apple's OS10.5 hit the streets. Adobe engineers can not predict what will or will not work in a new OS when writing an application.
Unfortunately, the solution may be to upgrade to the latest version of Illustrator to solve your problem. I'm NOT stating that is the only solution, merely that it may be needed.

Temporary file appear when I save Al or pdf files (illlustrator CS, CS2 on Windows XP)

HELP! Does anyone know why? When I save Al files from adobe illustrator on windows XP, temporary files are created in the same directorys as the saved file. Temp files has data within the file, but the saved file has no data 0kb. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem? thanks so much!

I apologize for not having an answer. I just wanted to chime in and say that I am having the exact same issue. I have never had this before. It's happened ever since I had my hard drive replaced and Illustrator has been reinstalled, so I am assuming that it's a preference somewhere that I have missed?

I have created a document in pages. When I save as word document, it gets funky! Things shift all over.
Also, when I save as a pdf, many people complain they cannot open it, and if they can, it is illegible.
How do I fix both of these?

When I save a page is that page really saved on my computer?

There are some pages I've saved so I can get at the information later but when I click on that icon (when I'm not on the web) Safari opens and it seems to be opening the page as if it were a hot link. That makes me wonder if I'll have that same information if the page changes.

Note: Unless the images (and other associated files) are stored on your hard drive, you may lose them if the site changes significantly-to avoid that, save the page like this: File>Save As... and choose "Web Archive" rather than "Page Source". (That is the default option, so you're probably fine, but it's still best to make sure). You want the file and a folder associated with it, NOT just a file.

Why are Image Export Sizes Doubled when using Save vs. SaveForWeb&Devices?

Maybe I'm missing something here ...
I have 2 versions of an action I use to batch process images. One uses the Save As dialogue and the other uses SaveForWeb&Devices. However, the image sizes created using the latter are about 50% smaller than those created with the former. The two actions differ only in the Save step - I duplicated the original and swapped the save step in the action.
Is SaveForWeb&Devices usign a more efficient optimisation algorithm or am I missing something?
The reason for using the Save As dialog is that Batch Processing is able to override the save location, whereas I had trouble overriding save location in a batch process which used an Action that Saved using SaveForWeb&Devices.

P.S. I also find this size doubling takes place when using the Image Processing script supplied with PS. I'm on PS5 on OSX10.6.8.

SfW throws out redundant custom data, when the normal JPEG save does not. Using the normal save e.g. also retains clipping paths (10 years ago people used that al lthe time for print stuff) and of course also more info on color management, user metadata and what have you. Therfe may bne more specific optimizations in SfW, but that's something Mr. Cox can probably answer better...

How come, when I save a pages file as a word doc, it automatically hyphenates my text?

I'm a college student trying to write essays for my classes, and my professors all prefer word documents. When I go to export my essays from Pages 5, I have no trouble exporting it and saving it as a word file. However, when I open these files, it shows that all of my text has now been set to automatically hyphenate, and I can't find a way to change it without being forced to resave it as a Pages file. Has anybody else experienced this problem?

When I save web page on my HDD then when I try to open it the pictures are not displayed?

I have saved on my hdd webpage and folder with all pictures, but when I try to open it by doubleclick it open onli web page with text but picture stay clear (only borders)

Thank you for your question. I do not believe that the proper links have been updated to reference the newly saved file path of the local webpage that you saved.
Can you please check the webpage content that was saved to see if there is an image stored in a folder? They should be. If not, can you please provide an example webpage and I will try it? I tried this webpage and did not have any missing images.

I don't know but try this: go to IE & tools & internet options & programs & manage add on. Click on the drop down on "what add on that have been used or currently used or ones that run without your permission" read everything as this could make some other changes as it says. I've never touch anything in this area and would like to but I'm not sure about it and what it could do. I hope this will work for you.

Save Wikipedia page as complete webpage is NOT complete.

I don't know when this exactly happened, i.e. what version of Firefox it occurred, but, now when I save Wikipedia page, it seems Javascript no longer work or saved.
Previously, when I mouse over to citation, it will pop-up a tooltip. Like this:

Note that, those image are saved webpages.
But now, they're gone.
The latest known saved webpage that work are dated on May 2013. Like I said before, I don't know which version was that.
Currently I'm using 32.0.3 and as far as I can remember, this problem happens since 29.0.
Last but not least, I think this happens only on Wikipedia. But I don't know either if this problem was Wikipedia's fault.
So.......
How is the workaround?
I really need these Wikipedia features.

It doesn't work for me either in both Firefox and in Google Chrome.
Both only show a link to the notes at the bottom of the pages when I hover such a link and no tooltip.
If it worked before then there has been a change in the page coding.
There is a lot of JavaScript running on the pages and some scripts are loaded via load.php calls and via document.write rules.

I have gone back and saved Feb and March and it saves to 10% of original, as it did before, and I use the same mechanism to save now.
I have gone to Acrobat Pro and optimized down to 8.8mb, but the quality is not acceptable.
What other variable is there that I haven't discovered?

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

I have checked the Sharing and Permissions section of the "Get Info" panel accessed from the Finder and I have set Read and Write Privileges for my user account for Photoshop CS6. System and Admin are also set to Read and Write.
I have a MacBook Pro with OS X Version 10.9.5 and have all available updates for Photoshop CS6, Lightroom 5 and Bridge CS6.
I tried uninstalling the program and downloading it again and reinstalling, but nothing changed.
