NO fixing SNP Orders

HI SNP Gurus!!
I would like not ot getting SNP fixed orders after heuristic execution, I mean, I need unfixed orders?
Does anybody know how can I do that?

Set SNP procuduction Horizon within this horizon SNP Heuristics plan Unfixed orders after that it will plan fixed order.

Fixed Planned Orders cannot be changed anymore

Hello Experts,
we have seperated the fixed planned orders from the planned orders by creating a new category group which contains
only EE fixed, leaving EE unfixed in Category Group FP1.
We then assigned the fixed orders to a new KF. Now we have the issue that we cannot change the value of the fixed orders anymore. The new KF is automatically set as "no entry allowed". How can I change this and why is it automatically set to "output only" Keyfigure?

Here you go.
Create copy of standatrd category group CO8 - say ZO8 assign only category EE and fixed order qty only F.
This means this category group will have on EE fixed order.
Create one KF -lets say ZKF1 in SNP PA and assign KF category grp ZO8.
Now, import this KF in planning book and data view where user will fix the SNP planned order.
Make this KF invisible.
Write a macro to change the cell color of Planned order KF if ZKF1 value is more than Zero.

Pegging between SNP orders?

Is there pegging relationships between SNP orders? If it's so, what are the differences between pegging of SNP and PP/DS orders.

Hi Mikalai,
SNP has 3 solvers for rough-cut capacity planning i.e. Heuristics, Capability-To-Match and Optimizer. Heuristics and Optimizer are time-series based solvers and pegging is not supported using these solvers. The only solver that is order-based is CTM and with CTM pegging is possible. Even though CTM is different from rest of the SNP, it is often gets clubbed with SNP functionality.
SNP can only schedule to a minimum of one day granularity and where as PP/DS can schedule to second. As far as pegging methods are concerned, fixed & dynamic pegging are available for both CTM & PP/DS.

Error while creating a Fixed Price Order

I am creating a Fixed Price order for a customer which is created in the system.
However, while doing so I am getting an error message, "No Customer Master Record exists for sold-to-party XXXXXXXXX.

Check Table KNVV and KNVP, whether the customer is amintained or not.
Go to SPRO --> IMG --> Sales and Distribution --> Basic Settings --> Partner Determination --> Set up Partner Determination
Here u have to maintain procedure and its assignments, and then assign Procedure to the account group that you have created, and also maintain relevant partner functions to the account group created by you.
Also check whether the customer is maintained as SP or not
Check SP PATNER FUNCTION exist in your customer master or not.

Loading transaction data from flat file to SNP order series objects

Hi,
I am an BW developer and i need to provide data to my SNP team.
Can you please let me know more about <b>loading transaction data (sales order, purchase order, etc.,) from external systems into order based SNP objects/structure</b>. there is a 3rd party tool called webconnect that gets data from external systems and can give data in flat file or in database tables what ever required format we want.
I know we can use BAPI's, but dont know how. can you please send any <b>sample ABAP program code that calls BAPI to read flat file and write to SNP order series objects</b>.
Please let me know ASAP, how to get data from flat file into SNP order based objects, with options and I will be very grateful.

Doubt abt "Fixing the Orders"

Hi,
I know an order can be fixed within therange of Planned Delivery Time + GR Processing Time ( Procurement Type : F).
My question is:
1. I need to fix an order which lies outside the range of Planned Delivery Time + GR Processing Time.I have an custom report for fixing an report.
2. I know available time of the order is compared with the Planned Delivery Time + GR Processing Time for fixing. When I debugged I saw there was a time stamp with the Planned Delivery Time + GR Processing Time.
So please let me know how the stamp time is calculated.

The time stamp is calculated based on PPDS logic. While using time stamp in your development object, use the one that shows up in Product View as a reference. I am not sure the context you are referring to has PPDS implemented. If not them the standard PP strategies are probably used to calculate those time stamps.

Convert SNP Orders to PPDS Orders in CIF

We have a requirement to segregate the orders created in SNP and scheduled in ECC. I know this can be done with the Production Planned and Production Confirmed key figures based on ATP Category as EE is for SNP and AJ, AK, AL, AI are PPDS. The complication is we are not using PPDS for short term scheduling; therefore ECC will control the short term scheduling. We are currently removing the Firm indicator on ECC for any SNP (EE) order using a user exit. This allows for seeing the SNP orders as not scheduled (not firmed) in ECC. When the scheduler firms the planned order in ECC we want the order to show in the production confirmed key figure in SNP. This can be done by setting the EE Firmed to the Production Confirmed key figure, but now the SNP Planner has SNP Orders on two different key figures. Therefore, our requirement is to change any SNP order (EE Category) to a PPDS order if it is firmed. This way Production Planned are SNP orders only and Production Confirmed are scheduled or created ECC orders.
We have tried using APOCF004 to change the APOAPPL from a 3 to a 1 and BADI ORDER_INB_MODIFY_AFTER_MERGE changing cs_ordkey-appli from 4 to 2. Neither of these options worked. Possibly because of the difference in structures and number range, the system is not doing the convert.

Please check the settings in the heuristics SAP_SNP_SNGL(Individual Conversion SNP --> PP/DS) or SAP_SNP_MULT, whatever you are using.
PPDS horizon is relevent for the conversion and SNP horizon may not be relevant.
The details are as below:
The conversion horizon for SNP to PPDS is decided as below.
Conversion Hprizon
The offset and the PP/DS horizon together define the conversion horizon, that is, the period in which you want to convert Supply Network Planning (SNP) orders and Capable-To-Match Planning (CTM) orders into Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) orders:
Conversion horizon = PP/DS horizon + offset
You must specify a positive value for the offset. The conversion horizon begins on today's date and continues for the relevant number of calendar days into the future. So that the system converts an SNP or CTM order into a PP/DS order, the start date/time of the order must be within the conversion horizon. If you want to extend the conversion horizon to the end of the SNP or CTM planning period in which the end of the conversion horizon lies, you enter a daily buckets profile.

/SAPAPO/RRP4 - SNP Orders

Hi,
I have some problems with APO SNP orders.
If I execute /SAPAPO/RRP4 t-code, for a month, I obtain 9 orders (1 SNP), but when I test extraction for BW in RSA3 with extractor 0APO_PPDS_ORDER_01, I obtain only 8 orders and the SNP one is missing.
There is an other standard extractor able to extract these information?
If I want to create a standard datasource, in wich table can I find these details (for example MENGE field)?

The data source 0APO_PPDS_ORDER_01 is not designed to extract SNP orders. It is designed for PPDS orders. But you can create a data source to extract SNP orders. For further informations check the online documentation at:

you should create you own datasource for extracting SNP orders. Note all orders in APO stores in livecahe,not in database tables.

Restrict SNP orders on PPDS board

Hi Gurus,
When ever I am accessing the Detailed Scheduling board I am able to see both SNP and PPDS planned orders.
I want to see only PPDS orders and not SNP orders.
What settings I have to do to achieve my requirement.

You need to configure 'Decision tables for graphical objects' for the planning board profile you are using in the planning board .
Here, you need to enter a condition for SAP APO Application eg.
IF
Table Name 3 Order
Field Name SAP APO Application
Relat. Operator NE
Compar. Value 4 << SNP
then process to next Decision group.

SNP orders to PPDS orders

Dear Experts,
The system appears to have converted a number of SNP orders to PPDS while retaining the SNP orders too.but the orders should not have been converted to PPDS although they are outside the SNP horizon.
What could be the reason?

I am converting a snp planned order from ppds order in transaction /sapapo/rrp_sap2ppds and using heuristic sap_pp_002.But it is canceling the heuristic and giving above error message.I have given 60days ppds horizon and 61days snp horizon.lot size:lot-for-lot.Please suggest what to do?

The hueristics sap_pp_002 you are using is based on algorithm "planning of std. lots".
For converting Supply Network Planning (SNP) orders or Capable-to-Match(CTM) orders into Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) orders, try to use a heuristic based on the algorithm /SAPAPO/HEU_SNP_CONVERT, such as the standard heuristic SAP_SNP_SNGL..
I think the above mentioned hueristics should be able to solve the problem .

Hi,
You have to convert SNP Planned Orders to PPDS Planned Orders thru /SAPAPO/RRP_SNP2PPDS by specifying
Planning version,product and location and the standard heuristic SAP_SNP_SNGL and propagation range.
or in /SAPAPO/RRP3 and /SAPAPO/RRP4 directly.

Hi Burak,
In IMG, use the following menu path
SAP SCM Impl Guide --- APO --- Supply Chain planning --- PPDS --- Global settings --- Maintain Global parameters and values --- Under Planning Tab --- Activate fixed pegging.
This is universal setting for the entire client.

Fixing photo order

Has anyone found a fix to make the iPad revert back to displaying photo order by date taken? I

There were other recent threads about the same thing within the last 2 weeks. Not sure where the matter stands.
For one poster who had a critical number of photos I recommended that she name them, for example, Monday 001, Monday 002, etc. It meant they were grouped together and in the correct order and this worked for her. This is OK if only a manageable number of photos are involved.
There are a number of programmes that allow you to rename photos by batch in a PC before syncing and this might be of interest to you. I would guess that in those circumstances they will remain in order when synced.
