No flags show in filmstrip?

Hi there, I have just upgraded to lightroom 4 and can not see the flags in the film strip. They are checked in the preferences as on, but they don't show. Also some folders say no photo selected in a folder, while there are photo's inside? Any ideas...hope?*

Thanks Dorin apparently it needed to be even bigger....strangly enough I had it the same size in Lightroom 3 but that was not bit enough. Can you also help me with my other problem... when you click on a folder it's states no photo's in selected folder but if you click on the underlaying map is does have folders. With two folders which looks the same one it states no photos and the other one shows all the photos inside the folder....

Risk Violation flag showing green even if risks are there in the request

Hi Experts,
We are working in demo systems with GRC AC 5.3_10.1.
1) when a user creates a request for new roles, the request after submission from the user goes to the manger as a part of approval process. The manager opens the request. At this stage, the system automatically runs a risk analysis in the background and if risks are found in the requested roles then the red flag appears automatically. We were able to see the red flag until patch 7.0. But after upgrading to patch 10, not able to see the red flag even after manually performing the risk analysis(it's showing risks in after performing risk analysis). The flag always looks green. Can anyone please clarify is this a bug in the patch 10 or we are lacking some configuration?
2) For the same roles requested in one demo system, after performing risk analysis, we are finding 2 risks. and in another system we are finding 3 risks. User attributes, Access Control patch level, GRC risk library remains same in both of the test systems. We thought roles we are requesting might be having some difference as systems are difference, and performed user and role comparison. But surpringly everything looks same. Can anyone please highlight, where we need to drill down for further analysis.

Hi Guru,
The first one doesn't make sense. This may be a bug but I am on SP 10 Patch 1 and this is working fine. Are you getting same risks when you run risk analysis in RAR? Make sure these are SoD risks not critical action risks.
The second one sounds like configuration or data issues. Are you connected to same SAP system from both the environments? Do you have any mitigating controls defined?

Images Not Showing In Filmstrip or Develop

I just upgraded to Snow Leopard (old I know!) and Lightroom 4. Since the upgrades, images have not been appearing in the filmstrip or in the develop module - when I switch to develop, it says "no photo selected." Anyone know why that may be?

It seems to be a Premiere memory management problem.
In older versions, it was very bad. It has got a bit better with each new release, but unless CS4 cracks it the issue will still be around to catch those who use lots of big images in a project.

Issues with Spry image slide-show with filmstrip

Hi
I used the widget browser to place a copy of the 'spry image slideshow with filmstrip' widget on to one of my web pages. I now have several issues that I am out of my depth trying to troubleshoot.
There is a big gap (like excess padding) at the top between the outer frame and the main image frame. I can't see how this has arisen or how to correct it.
Although narrow formatted images are centered horizontally in the image window, wide formatted images appear at the top of the image window, and i would like them to be either centered or at the bottom of the image window
The thumbnail images that i created for the filmstrip are tiling rather than appearing as a single centered image which is what i would like.

Showing Red flag in Message Monitor

Hi All,
I am getting red flags in Message Monitor while send from SAP through RFC.
If i click the flag, showing message "Column status could not process - Transaction Execution Terminated Upon Request"
previously its worked properly. In last process we have send at a time 150 message to message listener, in that it has processed 100 messages successful and rest of them show in red flag.
After that even i send single message also, its getting red flag.
And how can we reprocess those messages
Can anyone please let me know how to solve it.

Hi ,
I have found that error where it has been terminating.
I have kept condition action block below the sql insert query in my transaction as i am calling from Message process rule.
Under condition action block, i have kept leftside SAP jco and rightside stop action block
If the query successful execute it will trigger SAP jco, if not it will trigger stop transaction(i.e. In stop configure. link, mapped sql query success to TerminationMessage)
The issues is,
if i send 150 messages, its inserting all records in DB but in the transaction it triggering 100 messages to SAP Jco through condition after that its triggering stop action block. I don't no why its happen.
In condition i have kept
confg. object as 1 and radio button with or
Confg link as sql query success with input1 propertie
Any idea regarding this, why its triggering after sometimes even its successful executed.

Mail shows count 0 for some flags, but no mails

I have 2 flags that work not correct, the yellow flag shows a count of 1, but if I select the flag no mail is shown, the blue flag, I renamed it, shows a count of 7, but also no mail in the list the red and green flag work as expected, the count next to the flag match with the mails the program listed. Is there a file where I can correct this issue?

TM drive reformatted but shows 240MB as "used"

Hi. I'm struggling to get TM working seamlessly in the background. I've reformatted my 1TB G-Drive Q and now Disk Utility is telling me that there are still 9 directories with 57 files taking up 240MB of 1TB. I see this information not when I click on the first entry for the drive in Disk Utility, but on the second entry - the Volume, I think? I've tried to erase the information but Disk Utility hangs in the process. The drive has one partition and no directories/files show up when I double-click the drive icon and open its finder window.
Doesn't reformatting a drive erase everything? How can I get rid of these files?

That's fine-those files should be there.
Would you mind explaining what the 'eO@' flags do? I imagine one of them is to show hidden files/dirs? I looked at the man page for 'ls' and got confused...
the -a flag shows all, the -l flag lists in "long" format (with more details), and the -e -O and -@ flags all show some more detailed information about the files.
Is this what you'd expect to see?

IWeb Main Page Not Showing

I've researched to death and tried everything but can't fix this.
Recently did a clean install on my iMac and since then iWeb won't work.
I have :
- Reinstalled from original disc then updated to latest version 3.0.4
- Deleted the com.apple.iWeb.plist file and com.apple.iWeb Cache Folder, restarted, and tried opening again
- I have removed my domain.sites2 file to try and open iWeb and initiate making a new site
iWeb is fully loaded and operational - in Activity Monitor it does not have a red flag - shows as being operational. I can access iWeb's Preferences, open and close various Inspectors, but the main window is simply not visible.
I am on Lion 10.7.2
I had updated my website using iWeb while on Lion 10.7.1
I have a small business and my website is outdated and will be losing me new customers at this point who will think I don't have the latest stock and information.
Any help appreciated - naturally no need to reply if 'fixes' are as per other posts and noted as having been tried above.

Where is the main page not showing? In iWeb or online?
In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
For opening your domain file in Lion or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an application.
Just launch the application, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.

How to flag Mail Messages in iOS5?

My Mail messages in iOS5 don't reflect the flagged status in mail. Trying to flag them on the iPhone's Mail clinet by selecing "edit" should (apparently) offer me a choice to delete, mark (as unread/read) or Flag. I just get a choice of Mark or Delete - No flagging option, no flags showing on any of my messages. I'm using 10.7.2 and iOS5 (natch) on an iPhone 4 - Anyone got this to work or am I missing some hideous, glaring ommission?

Firstly, thanks to Anthony - Can't believe I missed that one. While the way to flag messages is resolved for me now on my iCloud/Me account, the fact that none of my flags are reflected on my Exchange account is not, and sadly that is the account which I use for about 95% of my mails; it was really the only thing I really needed from iOS5 - All the rest is handy, but not critical. Selecting "Mark" on an Exchange message simply offers the option to mark as read - There's no flag option. If I select a message sent to my .me address, I get the mark as read option, as-well as flag.
So, I'm wondering if this is a setting server-side, or to do with the version of Exchange server being run, as there's nothing in the OS I can see in the way of options. I'm tempted to delete the account and re-create it, but waiting for it to download all those messages again (and potentially screw up syncing, which it has done in the past) is putting me right off the idea. I didn't have the calendars, to-dos or contacts set to sync with Exchange (never use them) so I tried turning them on, but no difference.
If anyone with a bit of Exchange knowledge has any input or ideas, I'd appreciate the help.

Mac Mail Flags

Quick question with regard to emails flagged. Have no issue with defining flag names and its very helpful and at present I've got three flags defined;
1) Urgent
2) File note
3) Action complete
What I would really like to do is only display the Urgent & File note flags in my sidebar. Is there anyway to do this, its is simply because I dont want my Action complete flags showing up, sounds simply and would be very helpful if this could be done.

Deletion flags for equipment BOM

Hi,
In equipment BOM header , there are 2 fields for deletion flag :
-one is set manually (the one on the right)
-the other set by the system (the one on the left).
Can someone explain to me how deletion flag indicator (on the left) work?

To explain this i must say first there is a difference in the Deletion Flag (Right in Header) and Deletion Indicator(Left in Header).
In SAP term The deletion Indicator shows the item which has already been Deleted from the System and Deletion flag shows that the record has been flagged for deletion and will hence be Archieve (when, depends on the Archieving strategy followed in the company).
To explain the affect these will have is the Deletion Indicator will not allow you to use the and will show the error as the object has been deleted and is not in the system.
Deletion flag for BOMs
Indicator: this BOM will be archived during the next archiving run and, if necessary, deleted from the data base.
Where as the Deletion Flag will show that the object is ready to be archieved and is set to be deleted.
Deletion Indicator
Indicator showing that the BOM header or the BOM item has been deleted with reference to the change number.
Now there is another difference in the way we can amke the objects active from deletion flag anf the deletion indicator.
For Deletion flag you have to go to change mode and just remove or untick the deletion flag.
For Deletion indicator you have to go to Archieve table and pull the object back in to SAP system and it will then show only the deletion flag, which can be removed by the way explained above.

Can the filmstrip in LR be permanently disabled?

I use a mac with two monitors and have the second monitor situated below the main monitor. In my workflow, I use the second monitor to view my thumbnails. So the filmstrip is not something I really refer to.
In addition, in Develop mode when I select a series of images and go to click on the SYNC button, more often than not, the filmstrip comes up because I moused-over the area to get to the SYNC button!
I do not like leaving the filmstrip in continuous view because it takes up too much room on the main monitor . . . do I have any options?

You do not have many choices: just hide/show the filmstrip. You can do it from the Window->Panels menu or just use F6 to toggle it on and off.
Other than that, I do not know how you could permanenly disable the Filmstrip panel (nor indeed any other panel).
