No font color 2605 in Windows 7

I recently upgraded from XP to Win7 Home x64. My Color LaserJet 2605 worked perfectly on the XP machine, on the Win7 it is great except that it will not print fonts in color. Pictures print in color, just not fonts. I print lots of small posters for my work on the machine and would like to be able to have color in the fonts, too. I have tried a couple different drivers with the same result. I'm I missing a setting somewhere? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To summarize what he did:
1. Install all available drivers for your ThinkPad X201 using support.lenovo.com or ThinkVantage System Update
2. Re(install) the fingerprint reader driver
3. After the fingerprint reader driver is installed, reinstall Hotkey Features Integration.

I'm using Forte 3.0.G.2 and can't get the font color to change.
I've followed the instructions in the help documentation by creating a data
field widget (named it _StatusLine) and mapped it as a TextData. In my Init
method I then have a chunk of code to set up the Window.StatusText. It
looks like this:

Window.StatusText = _StatusLine;
Once that's done the code updates Window.StatusText as needed. All this
works fine except I can't get the font color changed. I've used the Window
workshop to specify a color for the data field widget but it appears that
the underlying Forte libraries has a mind of it's own. Any clues as what to
do? All I'm trying to do is set the color to the default "information"
color - which is blue.

Are you trying to change the color of the text that you have added using the "Free Text" annotation tool?
To change the text color to black
Tap the text.
Select Color... from the popup.
Tap the black button in the Color Palette.
Reader will remember the chosen color when you add a new Free Text annotation (the same type) next time.
Please let us know if that is not what you are trying to do.

My Excel with PowerPivots acts weird, it hangs when i try to change font color

I am facing a weird issue using PowerPivot in my workbook, there is a worksheet named Charts in my workbook and all the charts i am using resides in that worksheet. Whenever i try to change the font color in that sheet, my excel's color palette goes blur
and then everything just freezes and turns black. This problem is happening only with Charts worksheet, when i try to change the color in other sheets, it works just, the problem is only with Charts sheet. File
size is 16 MB, there are just 10 pivot tables with some calculations and some calculated fields. There are no add-ins other than PowerPivot.

Do you receive any error message?
Which Excel version are you using? Excel 2013 or other?
Which workbook format are you using? XLS or XLSX?
Are you performing any specific task?
According to your description, this issue seems only occur with the special worksheet "Charts".
Firstly, I recommend we copy all of the content to a new/blank Excel file to test.
If it works fine, this issue might be caused by the "Charts" workbook itself. We'd better check the "Charts" workbook. Or re-build the file with a new workbook.
If it still makes Excel hang with a new file, this issue might due to the content. Please check the content first.

How do I change the default font color on Mail?

I want the words in my messages to be a certain color, so what am I doing wrong? First I go on preferences, to fonts & colors, hit select on message list font, and it pulled up a window with all the fonts and stuff. Then I click on the color icon thing which brings up another window for me to choose the color. So I choose the color and close that window and all the other ones. But when I start a new message, the font is black. Is there something I need to do differently? Thanks!

For years I have been manually changing the font and font color on every outgoing mail as an element of Corporate Identity.
Apple Mail offers great features like smart mailboxes - but this is still not fixed!
Universal Mailer (http://universalmailer.github.io/UniversalMailer/) forces font, size and color, but does not display it in the window of the outgoing mail. Can be misleading!

How do I change the font color in my iMovie titles?

I have selected the title, and a color from the color wheel, but the titles remain white. What do I need to do?

There are only certain titles that have that SHOW FONTS button available. When you select one of those titles....highlight your text, then push that button...you'll get a pop-up window that will give you about 9 differnt font selection, the same about of color selections and then sizes from 1-9. You just move your cursor around as you move around the highlight text in your title will change to show you what it would look like if you clicked on that FONT, COLOR or SIZE.
If you don't like those you can click on the system font panel button in the lower left hand corner and go to town there...

Why does my font color change when I add an image to InDesign?

Hello, I am doing a page layout in InDesign and I am using a light blue font for my title but when I add an image from Photoshop, the font color turns dark blue. When I open the InDesign file in Adobe Acrobat, my title is still dark blue. It's only when I make a PDF of the file in Acrobat and open it in the Safari browser that the title goes back to its original light blue font. Is there something I can do to fix this? Thank you!

Not a good idea. The flattened PSD has lost all its layers, adjustments, and effects. I hope you don’t need to edit it or change any layer’s visibility. Either that or you now have two files to keep track of and have neutered InDesign’s Edit Original feature. Better to take Peter’s advice and place the text above the image so it is not affected by transparency flattening. If you need the text below because you want the drop shadow to interact with the text, then use Overprint Preview (View menu) or Separations Preview (Window > Output) to get a more accurate view of the text colour.

When composing an email, how do I highlight a word in yellow (NOT change the font color, just highlight)?

On Windows when composing an email, I would often highlight a word or sentence in yellow. I don't seem to have this option on my Mac Book Air toolbar as I did when I had on my laptop. How can I add this feature to my toolbar? I don't want to change the font color, just want to highlight a word within the email.

You may or may not be able to do this based on which e-mail client or webmail platform you're using. In your email options, you'll want to have the option to paste it as rich-text or HTML. If you only have the option for plain text then you're out of luck.

Sounds like you have the Preferences toolbar closed on another selection.
Go to Mail > Preferences and at the top right of the Preferences window is a clear pill shaped button.
Selecting this button opens/closes the complete Preferences toolbar.

StatusText is an attribute on the Window class that

It's not so simple to find it if you don't know what you're looking for... But it can be found via View - Show/Hide - Toolbar Items - Properties Bar.

How can a Macbook Pro desktop folder font color be changed in Yosemite?

Would like to change the white text color on the desktop folders. Cannot find anywhere to change folder font colors in Yosemite OS. Using a Macbook Pro.

It would require a ridiculous amount of discs. 1TB minus around 880GB of free space means it is currently using maybe 200GB or more. Backing up would take almost 300CDs or 43 DVDs. But here is another way to solve your problem. Instead of backing up and reformatting, you could download some add-on software to make your Mac read and write NTFS. I am not well versed in using NTFS, but my understanding is that you can download software like Paragon NTFS (paid) to get this done. I have heard that there are free options but again, I don't know them very well. Until someone comes by with more info that I don't know, you can do a web search on "NTFS Mac" to research more about your options. You will find links to software and how-to articles.

Email font color

When I type an email the font color is black and I want to change it to blue.
Help said to create a Rule to change the color, but when I do that the only color
that is changing is in the From window of Inbox of my in coming mail.

Yes, you are in the wrong forum; you should have posted in the Mail and Address Book forum for 10.4, but I have the moderators move this post there.
If you want to change the color of the mail text, you first need to type out your message, the select all the text or just the portion you want to change colors on, choose Format > Show Colors from the Mail menu and pick a color from one of the color pickers there. And if you've got your mail setup to send only Plain Text, you must allow Mail to change it to Rich Text in order for the colors to be set.
Rules only apply to incoming mail, not mail you're sending.

Change the font color of a text field in a table by key-combination

I want to change the font color of a text field in a table (single cell only) on pressing a key combination. Does anybody know how to do this.
I have a lot of data in a table. During an evaluation of the data in a meeting I want to change the color of the text depending on the result of the meeting. (for example: High risk = CTRL+R makes the text red).
I know how to change the color using a button, but I do not want to add a button after each cell. For this reason I would like to do it on a key combination that alway refers to the active cell.

I don't think you can use the ctrl key like that as those shortcuts will be intercepted by Reader (ctrl-R toggles the ruler display on / off). You also might have trouble updating the color while you still have focus on it. You can use the shift key in a similar way, so if you only have lower case characters in the text fields then you can do something like;

            break;
        case "O":
            this.fontColor = "255,102,0";
            break;
        case "G":
            this.fontColor = "0,255,0";
            break;

If you need uppercase characters maybe you can have one button to set "review mode" and test that on the if (xfa.event.shift) line. But again it wont take effect until you have tabbed out of the field.

I notice that you have cross posted in Answers forum and Oracle forum. Have you tried Mr. Peter's suggestion?
Then, I recommend we check the Word settings:
1. Go to: Options > Advanced > Cut, Copy and Paste
2. Make sure that Use smart cut and paste is ticked.
3. Click the Settings button next to this option
4. Make sure that Smart Style
Behavior is checked.

Unable to change font color in inserted textbox

Hi All,
Thanks for help. I have an aplication which brings up an image for editing in flash. Here is what happens.
I click on A tool and insert 2 text boxes on the image and type something. Then I click on the Arrow tool and double click on text in Text box 1 to select it. Then try to change the font color from the font menu icon. It does not work. But after selecting the text in text box 1 and trying to change the font size from the menu seems to work fine. Can any one plz help??

How to change font/ font color etc in a graphic object using JCombobox?

My program im writing recently is a small tiny application which can change fonts, font sizes, font colors and background color of the graphics object containing some strings. Im planning to use Jcomboboxes for all those 4 ideas in implementing those functions. Somehow it doesnt work! Any help would be grateful.
So currently what ive done so far is that: Im using two classes to implement the whole program. One class is the main class which contains the GUI with its components (Jcomboboxes etc..) and the other class is a class extending JPanel which does all the drawing. Therefore it contains a graphics object in that class which draws the string. However what i want it to do is using jcombobox which should contain alit of all fonts available/ font sizes/ colors etc. When i scroll through the lists and click the one item i want - the graphics object properties (font sizes/ color etc) should change as a result.
What ive gt so far is implemented the jcomboboxes in place. Problem is i cant get the font to change once selecting an item form it.
Another problem is that to set the color of font - i need to use it with a graphics object in the paintcomponent method. In this case i dnt want to create several diff paint.. method with different property settings (font/ size/ color)
Below is my code; perhaps you'll understand more looking at code.
