No found PanelCustomizable component
I am see the book Fusion Developer's guide For Oracle ADF, sections 28.5.3 How to Create a Login Page for Your Application, should drag the PanelCustomizable component from the component palette, bu not exist...
could someone help me? please...
Seems like this chapter hadn't been updated very well to 11 - they are referring to 10.1.3 WebCenter component.
Just ignore that component and use any other JSF layout component instead to get the layout you want.
Possibly a panelGroup with panel boxes inside.

Hi,
I have selected the Business repository from the Tcode Solar01c, and i can see the list of configuration under Business Scenario,
when i am trying to execute any Tcode,(My understanding is that this Tcode must execute in Development system) it gives the following Error,
" No system Found for Component SAP Learning Solution and Role Evaluation system in project ZPROJ.
In SMSY i have created Two systems Dev :100 and Qas:300 Which are assigned to one logical component whose producted Version in SAP ERP.
Please advise by reviewing above scenario.

SMHi Irfanl,
I've had the same issue with regards to getting the error below when assigning transactions to a Blueprint business process.
"No system found for component and Evaluation system in the Project"
But I think I have solved it and seems pretty simple to change the system role from Evaluation System to any other that is relevant in your landscape.
Go to transaction SOLAR01 > Click on the first level of the Project Name (Under Business Blueprint Structure) to select the Project.
Click Business Blueprint in the Menu > System Role > Choose the relevant System Role (in my case Development)
Click Copy
This should replicate to all nodes and then you should be able to assign transaction to the business processes.
Quite strange and seems simple, I checked the Solution Directory, Solar Project Admin etc etc but couldn't find the solution until this which should work.
If not, there is a similar work around which also works.
Go to transaction SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN
System Landsacpe Tab
Systems subtab
Click System Role Assignment
Remove the Evaluation System (or all those not relevant to your Project and Logical Components)
Save Project
Go to SOLAR01 and it should reflect it in the Blueprint.
You can always go back to this and add the System Roles you removed and the Blueprint will reference the correct Role.
Hope this helps,

No upgrade package found for component SAP_BASIS
Hello,
I'm just upgrading from NW 7.01 to NW 7.4. During the EHP_INCLUSION phase I'm getting this error:
The program has not found a matching SAINT package for 'SAP_BASIS'.
"Last error code set: Enhancement Package inclusion failed, no upgrade package found for component 'SAP_BASIS' "
I've checked the name of patches on stack.xml and upgrade directory, and patches are in the upgrade directory.
Any suggestion?
Thanks.Hi Ruben,
From the error message
"Last error code set: Enhancement Package inclusion failed, no upgrade package found for component 'SAP_BASIS' "
You need to include delta upgrade package for SAP_BASIS component in the /EPS/in queue.
File name should be similar to "K-740BHINSAPBASIS.SAR". Please check whether such package has been downloaded ,extracted and include into the queue.
Hope this helps.

Required component home not found for component 'oracle.as.jrf'
I am getting the above error message during unpacking a template. Below is what I have done..
First machine:
OS is Oracle Linux 64 bit version 6.4. Weblogic version 11g is installed with 2 managed servers up and running fine.
echo $MW_HOME

echo $WLS_HOME

I go to the first machine and do a ./pack.sh command to create a template with a name of test.jar and it is successful. Use the -log command to see the logs.(everything is fine)
I copy the above created template test.jar to the second machine..
Than on the second machine, I do the ./unpack.sh command in the $WLS_HOME/common/bin folder and I get the following error message:

BelgiumI found a sollution by changing the core JSF libraries.
I changed the following:
--------------------- class javax.faces.component.UISelectOne starting at line 185
Class type = value.getClass();
Object newValue = getFacesContext().getApplication().
getExpressionFactory().coerceToType(item.getValue(), type);
if (value.equals(newValue)) {
return (true);
}.......................... in
if(value.equals(item.getValue())){
return (true);
}The second class i changed is the
--------------------- class com.sun.faces.renderkit.html_basic.MenuRenderer starting at line 580
Object newValue = context.getApplication().getExpressionFactory().
coerceToType(itemValue, type);
isSelected = isSelected(newValue, valuesArray);.......................... in
isSelected = isSelected(itemValue, valuesArray);I'm not sure this is the correct way of handeling this error.
So my question is if somebody have some advice.
Thanks in advance,

ADF Faces not found at Component Palette..
I am a Tertiary Student currently doing a project using Jdeveloper 11G version 11.1.1.3.0 . I am currently doing a project on Login.jspx. I am unable to select the ADF Faces page from the Component Palette and unable to Locate the Panel Header component in the Layout layer of the Component Palette. May I know is there any other way to be able to locate the ADF Faces Page or the panel header?
Thanks.Make sure you have the 'ADF Faces' and ADF Page Flow' technologies selected to your project.
Open the ViewController project properties and select the last node in the tree ('Technology Scope'). The two mentioned scopes should be on the selected side to see the stuff you are looking for in the component palette.

Af:panelPage not found in Component Palette
Hi All,
I am using JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0. I am following a hands-on tutorial in book "Oracle JDeveloper for Forms and PLSQL developers" which is using Oracle JDeveloper 10g. It is using af:panelPage facet which is not available in JDeveloper 11g.
Can someone guide me how to include it in component palette or there is some alternative available with different name?
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Bilalcomponent palette.. show ADF UI related components when you have ADF Faces. ADF Page Flow shuttled to the right in the project properties.. -> Technology Scope.. ADF ViewController project.. from New Gallery comes with these libraries handy...
i am not sure about af:panelPage.. in 10g but if you want to use panel then you can have a look at
af:panelHeader
af:panelAccordion
etc in jdev 11g for ADF UI components... -

EPM 11.1.2.3 ,Error 404 - Not Found
Hi All,
I am getting the following error after my installation and configuration of EPM 11.1.2.3 and when I try to access the Workspace URL.
Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol --
HTTP/1.1:
10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the
Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or
permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client,
the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code
SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable
mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding
address.
I installed 11.1.2.3 in windows 7 ultimate OS and 64 bit and using sql server 2005 Database and configured Essbase,planning, hfm, arm, fcm,fdm ,hpcm, , everything was configured successfully but when I open the workspace URL it is throwing "Error 404 not found"
I tried accessing http://machinename:7001/console (I replaced machinename with my machinename)
even here I am getting the same error, but I checked the database and it has the table hss_component_types and it is populated with the various products.
could you guide me

It also looks like you have installed a whole range of products some requiring additional configuration and the requirement of SOA.
I recommend starting with a support OS and only install products that are required.

CS 9: Tree Manager Errors and No Subjects Found
Hello all,
Completed installation and updates to Campus Solutions 9 on PT 8.51 and I get the following error when trying to delete a level from a tree in Tree Manager:
GetPageField : Page PSTREEMGR not found in component (2,209) PSTREEMGRFUNCS.FUNCLIB.FieldFormula Name:CleanEventField PCPC:2207 Statement:45
Called from:PSTREEMGRFUNCS.FUNCLIB.FieldFormula Name:CheckAPIMessages Statement:74
Called from:PSTREELEVELSWRK.BTN_DELETE.FieldChange Statement:22
The built-in function GetPageField has specified a page that is not defined in the current component, or that is not permitted to the current operator.
Review the PeopleCode and correct.
I tried with PS and can't remove the level either and both users have the PeopleSoft Administrator role added.
As a possibly related issue, I can't see any subject codes in the ACAD_ORGANIZATION tree to add as leaves. The Academic Institution "field" is uneditable and blank. I have Read/Write access to the Academic Institution in the Set Up SACR --> Security [...] --> Academic Institution Security. What step haven't I done yet that I should have done to see my Academic Institutions and subjects in the Tree Manager?You would not happen to be in Canada would you ?

Crashes
If these are actual crashes, or maybe plugin hangs you should get Crash reports, if you allow them to be submitted then you will get Crash Ids that start with '''bp-'''and are available when you navigate to ''about:crashes''

Possibly it's more likely to be a hang but this article mainly covers hangs on startup or shutdown

JSF programmatically add component
Hi, I'm using JDeveloper 10.1.3.3 on a Windows XP SP2 machine and java 1.5.0_06
I need to create component's programmatically for a page right now I have this code
patito.jsp (jsp page)
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
<%@ page contentType="text/html;charset=windows-1252"%>
<%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html" prefix="h"%>
<%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core" prefix="f"%>
<f:view>
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type"
content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"/>
<title>patito</title>
<style type="text/css">
body {
background-color: #f7f7f7;
</style>
</head>
<body><h:form binding="#{backing_patito.form1}" id="form1">
<h:outputText value="Hola mundo" binding="#{backing_patito.outputText1}"
id="outputText1"/>
<h:inputText binding="#{backing_patito.inputText1}" id="inputText1"/>
<h:commandButton value="commandButton1"
binding="#{backing_patito.commandButton1}"
id="commandButton1"
action="#{backing_patito.commandButton1_action}"
actionListener="#{backing_patito.commandButton1_actionListener}"/>
</h:form></body>
</html>
</f:view>Patito.java (The backing bean)
package prueba.view.backing;
import java.io.IOException;
import javax.faces.component.html.HtmlCommandButton;
import javax.faces.component.html.HtmlForm;
import javax.faces.component.html.HtmlInputText;
import javax.faces.component.html.HtmlOutputText;
import javax.faces.context.FacesContext;
import javax.faces.event.ActionEvent;
import oracle.adf.view.faces.component.UIXInput;
public class Patito {
private HtmlForm form1;
private HtmlOutputText outputText1;
private HtmlInputText inputText1;
private HtmlCommandButton commandButton1;
public Patito() throws IOException {
HtmlForm form = (HtmlForm)FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getViewRoot().findComponent("form1");
if (form!=null){
System.out.println ("Se ha hallado form1 ");
//creo un nuevo output para agregarlo a el form recien hallado
UIXInput input = new UIXInput();
//HtmlInputText input = new HtmlInputText();
input.setValue("hola");
input.setId("patitoPerez");
//input.setDisabled(false);
input.setRendererType("javax.faces.Text");
input.setRendered(true);
if (FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getViewRoot().findComponent("form1:patitoPerez") == null)
System.out.println ("se ha agregado el input generado");
form.getChildren().add(input);
} else {
System.out.println ("No se ha hallado form 1");
public void setForm1(HtmlForm form1) {
this.form1 = form1;
public HtmlForm getForm1() {
return form1;
public void setOutputText1(HtmlOutputText outputText1) {
this.outputText1 = outputText1;
public HtmlOutputText getOutputText1() {
return outputText1;
..........(more code)....
}If I run the page twice without checking if the component existe before adding it, it says that it have found the component duplicated in the view.
"javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: Id. de componente duplicado 'form1:patitoPerez' hallado en la vista."
so the code is working but it is not rendering the input text in the page.
any ideas?
Alain ReyesMy bad.
I didn't explain the reason for this aproach.
The thing is that I want to do a single page that handle de CRUD for a set of tables, but the number of fields of the table isn't constant, so I need to add the fields programmatically to make the screen just for the table.
I've resolved the issue, maybe it's a bug, the thing is that the code only function if the page it's a .jsfx.
Greetings.
Thanks for the reply.
Alain Reyes.
