No full charge after 8 hours
Every night I charge my iPhone 5 (iOs 6.1.2) from 0% on a DC outlet for about 8 hours and when I wake up the battery never reaches 100%. It's always between 94% and 96%. Then I unlock it, check my email (still conected to the DC), put it down, and after 15 minutes it gets to 100%. Is this normal?
I've already tried different DC oulets and USB adapters.
Thanks.
When iPhone reaches 100% it stops charging, and sometimes begins to use minor amount of battery power, lowering charge % a small amount. Do not worry about this.

My iPod thinks is connected and full charged after reset
Hi, I don't know if any of you have had this problem, I searched already through google and this site and couldn't find anything.
My iPod (silver G2 mini with 4 GB) shows full charged and connected (the full battery with the lighting) after every reset. It becomes a problem because you can't then know how much battery you really have and if you turn it off the screen won't turn off because it shows the charged icon. Also you can't avoid the reset because if the iPod runs out of battery it will reset itself.
It will only go away if I connect it to a computer, reset it and then eject it, it doesn't however work if I connect it to a normal wall or car charger, only the computer.
Any suggestions?, I've already resetted it in any possible way, even restored it with Updater.
Thanks.how long have you had your ipod? mine did the same but after a while you need to get a new one because of the battery...

Upgraded last week and now when I take my MacBook Pro (Early 2010) off of charge it won't even last an hour.
This is a joke!Welcome to Apple Communities
http://www.apple.com/batteries/notebooks.html OS X has got issues with battery life, so wait an update for 10.8 -
I don't know what to do please help.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Why do my recent app updates stay on the update page after updating?
Why won't my iPad take a full charge after installing IOS7.3?Having the updated apps stay on the Update page in the App Store app is a new feature. It is especially usefu to those that have auto app update turned on. You then have a record of the recently updated apps, the new features they have and when they were updated.
Are you charging your iPad with the wall charger that came with it or by some other means. The wall charger is the best way to charge the iPad. If it is failing to fully charge a reset might help. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -
My phone is 2 months out of warranty, it's never been dropped or miss used yet the past week every day something has gone wrong with it. First the lock button stopped then the side volume buttons. Then the head phone port when I putt headphones in the phone turns the volume
Down automatically and it won't turn up until I take my headphones back out. The battery lasts 4 hours max after a full charge and today I took my phone off the docking charger and all my music has gone! The phone is breaking down more and more everyday what is going on! I know people who have had there iPhones years an non of this happen! I still have a year left on my contract too!Who is your carrier and what is your coverage with them? If you are with say Verizon, and have Total Equipment Coverage or Extended Coverage, they will swap it out for you under Manufacturer Warrantee.

After full charge battery only shows 4 hours.
Have the brand new 13 inch, and the battery is only showing 4 hours left after a full charge.
Thoughts? How many programs do you have running in the background?
What is the backlight level set to?
Is bluetooth turned on?
Is the keyboard backlight turned on?
Is Airport turned on?
Battery life is directly related to the load that you put on the cpu. -

When I went to update my iPod touch on iTunes, it said unable to update then the iPod shutdown and no longer showed connected in iTunes. I have tried holding down both buttons for up to 3 mins with no luck turning it on, even after a full charge. Help?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

5G iPod no audio after full charge
I have a new 5th gen ipod and having problems with the audio playing after charging the unit.
I leave the ipod connected to the USB cable overnight, but when I go to use it later in the day, trying to play songs or podcasts, there is no audio! This has happened about every time I've charged it. All menu navigation and selection of things to play works fine, but there is no audio to be heard. Song, podcasts, videos, no audio for any of them. The timer ticks as it plays, the status bar shows it proceeding thru the play, but no audio.
I don't know yet if it's related to charging but it seems to occur after a charge. I have to soft-reset to get it to work again. Then it works fine until the next time I charge it. This is getting really annoying. I have updated the software on the ipod to the latest available. I have the latest iTunes.
One day after soft-reseting and then playing audio ok, I went to use it a few hours later (no charge inbetween) and it wouldn't play audio again. This time I also had a terrible time trying to soft-reset it, it wouldn't! I pressed the center select and top menu positions on the thumbwheel and it wouldn't go, try after try! After about 5 minutes of trying it finally did.
I have an iSkin eVo case on my ipod. I don't know if this would affect it but I also left the single sheet sticky plastic on the face of the ipod that came from Apple. Once the audio starts working, it works fine. No problems selecting, navigating, changing volume, moving the play-head forwards, back, etc.
Anyone else have this issue? I'm about to take it in for repair/exchange.
G4 Dual-533 Mac OS X (10.4.5) ipod 5th generation (video)Well, I spoke too soon... two days of using the ipod and it worked fine, BUT I realized I didn't leave it charging over night. Third night I had it on all night so a full charge and once again it didn't play audio in the morning. I shows that it's playing, the time for the song/podcast changes, the play symbol is on (not pause) but no audio. I have to reset the ipod and then it works fine. Then later in the day I try to play it and it won't even play! Menu navigation works but I click on the play button and it won't change the play time.
So I'm back to square one! This ipod has a problem!
Any ideas? I'm ready to take it in to the Apple store before the warrantee runs out. -
Apple Universal Dock doesn't work after full charge
last night, I put my ipod nano into the Apple Universal Dock.
I worked just find with the apple remote.
I stopped the music using the remote, then watched TV about 2 hours.
After that, I saw my ipod was full charged, and the dock station hasn't worked any more.
Also, the remote doesn't work as well.
I can use the play button on the ipod, but no sound out anyway.
There is another archive thread with the similar problem to me, but no answer yet.

or do I need to send it to the store where I bought? -
I cannot get more than 12 to 14 hours out of a full charge, and with a new battery. The battery has been charged at least a dozen times, so I know it's at full charge. Is the phone dying?
Do a Li-ion battery rebuild. Do a full 6-8 hour charge with device in sleep mode, next run it down to about 45-50 % and then a 4-5 hour charge. After that use your phone and take it down to 30%. Another 6-8 hour charge and then down to no lower then 20-25% and one more full 8 hour charge. At that point your battery should be rebuilt back to a normal life cycle. This should eliminate your battery problem.

I am so frustrated right now as I have to have my iPhone constantly on charge. After full charge it can drop from 100% to 1% in 15 minutes even when not it use. It often die whilst displaying 35% and will only come back on after charging which shows it in red zone empty needing charge. The red battery pic can remain for over an hour before it regains any life!
Any suggestions done all the usual
Reset
Removed email accounts
Killed off open apps
Turned off battery draining things like Siri etc
Phone is 1 year old
Help as I can't afford a new one and need this for business tooMy observation are:
Pros:
4. Notificaion now use any address while position is used, not only address book.
5. Great DND mode with auto swithcing.
6. MUCH more faster Safari work.
7. Great and funny way to reload messages in mailbox.
8. Separate footer for each mailbox -GREAT!
Cons:
1. WiFi - works as it was.
2. Apple map. I think it's good that google went out. Apple will develope own service and it will be better. For the moment I found Apple map less usefull, but it knows the way between Russia and Finland when Google doesn't.
3. No overheat observed... Today I was thinking that iPhone became hot, but it was on sunsine...
4. As it was 100% at evening - 100% at morning so it is now the same. While usage also the same.
5. Yes, I'm also don't know what is this for..
6. So what? I don't care.
7. Appstore became MUCH better! -

Anyone having same problem? I phone 4 after updating to Vers.5.1.1. battery cannot be 100% full charge, always stop at 99% and battery drains off fast too
I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.
The tech who set the phone up at the Apple store did so with little training.
if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.
turning of locator and the push notifications from facebook--they have a lot!
