No Games for Brazil

So I'm brazilian, and for some reason I can only buy apps that are in the "Brazil Store." And well, there are NO games in the app store. Everything BTW is in English, so why would they have a different store in the first place, and secondly, why would they not have games?
If anything, apple should take productivity tools away, not games. Brazilians are nuts over gaming. Why on earth wouldn't they have games in the Brazil (English language) app store?
I'm kinda ****** I have to use the Brazil iTunes store in the first place, as the functionality and content is way way way inferior to the US itunes store. It's as if apple hasn't a clue that expats that may be working in Sri Lanka or wherever, may not want to be forced to shopping Sri Lanka options.
Shame.

As someone who has recently been pleased to have access to one of the new App Stores, I think you may be underestimating both demand and Apple's intentions (not that I am trying to speculate).
Where I am, the iPod touch has good sales and using the App Store I can download any updates to the touch software, which was impossible before, and I can purchase/download apps from the store. And that has turned my touch into a really useful device.
The chances of the iPhone coming here, unlike Brazil, are far lower, yet the App Store still has a value for me and others.
As to the OP question about non-availability of games, feedback to Apple might improve things. When the Thai store first opened, it took a day or two to get up to speed. I trust that with the store, you will soon get your games.

Unfortunately, you cannot upgrade the processor or graphics card on this laptop.

You will see down near the bottom of the page that it is not upgradeable. Some laptops come with the processor soldered to the motherboard. Almost all laptop graphics are this way. The only way that you would be able to get a faster processor/better graphics for this laptop would be to purchase a brand new motherboard. You can do an Ebay search for 'HP G6 motherboard' to see what average prices are if you want to go this route.

How to use TAXBRJ with TAXBRA activated at core level for Brazil

I am supporting Brazil localization customization in ECC 6.0 for our company. We activated TAXBRA for Brazil. We flagged off CBT for all SD pricing procedure knowing the value of RVABRA. But one process in brazil we presently using in 4.6C with TAXBRJ along with customized pricing procdure make use of formula based calculation.
So we would like to follow the same method in ECC 6.0 also. However the condition based calculation RVABRA does not support this process as this process requires more formula based calculation.
So we need to know is there any chance to use TAXBRJ with customized formula based SD price procedure for our requirement.
I read through document (Condition based calculation in R/3 for Brazil version 3.1) the following steps to do alternate calculation procedure:
"In R/3 Enterprise, an extension to the concept described in section 5.8 has been introduced. In the table J_1BMWSKZKALSM,
alternative calculation procedures can be specified that are to be used for certain tax codes instead of the standard one. This is achieved by reading this table in a BAdI before the call to the pricing procedure and modifying the communication fields that contain the calculation procedure and the tax code.
Thus the user could e.g. use the external tax calculation for some tax codes (by specifying TAXBRJ in the above mentioned table) or use several smaller calculation procedures, e.g. in case of performance problems or new requirements."

Thank you. I put it in airplane mode like you suggested, but it looks to me like all the applications and ads are still running. Anyway, I'm just gonna play when I'm really really bored and use them as less as possible. Thank you again for your quick answer.

How to create a multiplayer game for steam using flash/flex?

Hi guys,
We've got a multiplayer game ready to go. Currently it is not multiplayer, but we'd like to get it to a stage where it can be played over the steam network by users of steam and owners of steam games.
We'd like to if anyone could briefly give us a breakdown of how to get out game up on steam and available for multiplayer?
Does steam host servers, and can we utilise a steam server to transfer data between players or would we have to run our own server?
Currently were using flash builder to publish via adobe air to a windows desktop exe. Can anyone briefly explain how - once a player has downloaded the game from steam we can connect two players? Does anyone know how to use actionscript 3 to access steam network?
Anyone have any experience developing multiplayer turn based game for steam using flash /actionscript 3 /adobe air?

You would want to use the SteamWorks API, which is available from Steam as a C++ library, but there is most likely an Adobe Native Extension (ANE) that would allow you to use the library in AS3.
I've never used SteamWorks but it seems to support peer-2-peer matchmaking (in other words, you wouldn't even need your own server, I think.)

Was playing game for months. Tonite, I went to play and it started me back as a new user. How do I find my player info and continue playing my origional game??

Was playing game for months, when I turned ipad on tonite and went to continue playing, it started me as a new user. My old achievements are still in game, but can only view them as the game recognizes me as a new user. How can I retrieve my player info to continue where I left off in game?

Exactly, a full backup of the previous device would contain all the app workfiles that stored the current state of the game.

You can contact iTunes and ASK for a refund. Then make make an exception to their all sale are final policy.

In the future set the restrictions so that in-app purchases are prohibited and that a password is always required.

4th gen ipod nano - can't find games for it on itunes

I have just purchased a 4th gen ipod nano for my son and he wanted some games. Went onto itunes and purchased Crash Bandicoot Nitrokart game for £3.49. Couldn't get it to transfer to nano - but then noticed it's sitting in Applications (iPhone and iPod touch applications). Then went back into game and see that it says requirements are for iphone and itouch. Why did apple allow me to purchase this when I rgistered the nano when I setup itunes? Have searched for other games but all say the same requirement. Where can I find games that will download for nano? I have itunes 8.01 and ipod software is up-to-date

Can't find games for my ipod

Are there any games for the 3rd gen. nano's anymore? I can't seem to find them in the app store...

They are not in the App Store. They are under the Category of "ipod Games."

I have a 4g classic iPod.Suddenly almost all my games won't play and I get a message to go to the site but there is nothing there for me. Where are the games for my iPod and what has changed to make my games no longer Play?

Most of the games on my iPod classic 4g will not play anymore. I get a message that is of no help and when i synced the games they disappeared. What is going on and where have the games for iPods on iTunes gone ?

Apple removed the clickwheel games from the iTunes Store back in September.
Have you tried a hard reset of the iPod to see if that helps resolve the issue of not being able to play the games? To do this, first make sure the Hold Switch is in the OFF position, then press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
