Browse and Games icons have disappeared

My browse, favorites and Games icons have completely disappeared, when I go to my app I can see all the games installed, however I can not find them on my blackberry. I have already tried to updated it but says I have the latest version of software.
Could you please help me on what do it to recover them.

If you don't know the restrictions code then do you know if it was on the iPad when you last backed up ? If not then you can restore to that backup and it should be removed. If it was on the iPad when you last backed up then the only way to remove it is to reset the iPad back to factory defaults and you can then re-sync your content back to the iPad - you won't be able to restore to the backup as that will keep the code in place.

Updated to IOS 5.0.1 and now if I tap on a game icon instead of opening the game a grayish color comes over it and nothing happens. How can I get my games to work again?

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

"Games" icon in nokia 5800 main menu

hey,
does anyone know how i could have a "games" icon on my nokia 5800 main menu similar to the one on the nokia n97, because i dont like how my games are mixed in with all my other applications under the "apps" icon.

Game Icon changed after Anna undate

The Game Icon has turned into a standard Folder icon after the Anna update !
How could I get it to change into the purple game contoller icon, as is stanadard for phones with the Anna SW ?
Has any one else had this problem and how did you guys/gals solve it ?

After clicking on game icon, it loops me back to my main screen?

Not necessarily - if it's a game that requires access to online resources then maybe (or maybe you aren't connected to the internet so that it can't access them). But a lot of games work/run just on the iPad.
If you are having a problem with all apps that you've downloaded from the store, but not the Apple built-in apps, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try your apps - the free app can then be deleted.
If it's just the one app that's not working then try closing it completely and then see if it works when you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e.not with the app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Hi, I recently updated my X6 from firmware 21.x to 30.x and my Games icon changed. It used to look like an xbox controller and now it just looks like a folder. How do I get the controller icon back?

hi
please try the following
go to menu / applications / installed apps / and select Options / organise
then go to what ever u wants to move
again go to options and select move to folder and select Root folder
it will ask and move it to root folder
after wards again select options and select applications / games
then select move and done
u r job has been completed.
trust me and try this , if u do this properly u can move any app or any folder anywhere in the device.

Has anyone bought Suokdu for the Nano? I can't get the game ICON to sync...

Simple issue, could be a bug... I bought Sudoku for my 3rd gen Nano and sync'd up without a hitch, however, in the game list there is no pretty colored icon for Sudoku. Instead, a grayscale picture of a six-sided die. I went back to iTunes to see if games possessed Artwork, and it turns out that Sudoku has a graphic in there. I went through the process of removing and resyncing but no such fix.
Like I said, it's just a little issue, nothing that takes away from the gaming experience however I would hate to purchase more and more games only to get a list of dice icons. Vortex, iQuiz, and Solitaire all look so nice on this amazing little screen.
Am I missing something? Thanks for your help.

I just bought Pac-Man and sadly no icon either. They just look silly. Apple please fix (after CoverFlow issues.) I hate to knit-pick because honestly a year ago I probably wouldn't even care, but Apple has created an Album Art monster out of me.

There is no way that I know of to speed up the download. Restoring from an iCloud backup will take as long as it takes in order to download all of your iPads contents. You commited to iCloud and now you have to wait until everything finishes downloading.
This relies on your WiFi connection speed, so unless you can speed that up, you just have to wait.

Game Icon Missing?

I just purchased the updated Sudoku game for the Classic and when I open the iPod Games Menu, a black square is displayed for its icon, instead of a graphic as the preloads have.
Is this the correct behavior?

Thanks for posting about the refund. The first time I wrote to them, they assumed it was an iPod issue, so I gave up. It wasn't until after you posted, and after I had bought Scrabble, that I decided to give it another shot. Everyday I checked my mail - no reply from them. Today I signed into my iTunes account though and it seems they credited me the 4.99 for the Pirates game even though that one is fine, strange. And still no email from them..... Anyways I repurchased it, cut out the old version and resynched and I have the logo now as well. BTW, where did you see the version numbers? I was looking for that....

- Have you used the Spotlight search to find them? Maybe you just can't find them
- Are then hidden by Restrictions? Settings>General>Restrictions

Please use this method to determine if the app actually is installed or not:

If it is installed, then search for the icon within all homescreen folders and subfolders. Be sure you have "show all" active as you search. Also be sure you are not running a custom theme as that may well be hiding the icon from you.
