NO grouping of messages by timestamp

instead of just adding seconds to timestamp Microsoft goes 180 degrees other way and now users can't differenciate at all when he gets several messages.
let's say someone sends message at 10h30 and 03 seconds and you read it then you write something back and at 10h30 and 59 seconds you get another message from same user. Well now you'll have to re-read again the message from 10h30 and 03 second because you don't see where is THE begining of the message from 10h30 and 59 second ... now tell me how stupid this is ... and gets better after so many users complained about it for months guess what Microsoft does ... NOTHING .... I don't want stupid ballons and huge space in between each group of messages. I don't want grouping of messages PERIOD..
At minimum I would like the old way (at least option to get it back).

This exactly. When version 7 came out a little while back I immediately rolled back to an older version because of this rediculous timestamp issue. Just recently I had some other problems with Skype and tried uninstalling/reinstalling to fix it, but discovered I can no longer install older versions, so now I'm stuck with this insanity. I hate that Skype can do this kind of thing and get away with it because so many people are too heavily invested in it with huge numbers of contacts, etc to switch to a better service.

I have been sending and receiving group text messages on my iphone 3GS for awhile and all of a sudden I am receiving "Message Send Failure" error messages when I try to send a group message. I think I still get group messages but you can no longer see that it is a group message and who the group members are. I turned the Group setting off and then back on in Settings and turned the phone off and back on with no improvement.

Make sure your account is provisioned for messaging/texting.
Also, Settings > Messages > MMS Messaging > On

AFAIK, there is no way to increase the limit of the native app. Use a 3rd party app if that
function is important to you. Others have expressed similar frustration in the past and
have chosen another app to fill their needs.

jlabianco, we want sending group messages to be easy breezy for you! Make sure that you've set up groups for your contacts on your device by tapping People> Groups>Tap the Plus sign to start a new group>Choose the contacts that you want in that group.
Once the group is set up in "People," you will just need to tap People>tap the Group> Tap the menu at the top right corner> Send Message. Keep us posted.

You can set up email groups in Contacts. The articles says Address Book (Contacts old name), but it still works.

Just give the file name as *.xml and it will pic all the xml files from the source dircetory.

This is Illustrator, no matter which version you are using.
It doesn't work like in other programmes and Illustrator's behaviour is often undesired.
There is no good trick that I'm aware of to mimic Draw's or Freehand's way to do it.

GContacts is for both the iPhone and iPad. It can be found in the US App Store. Don't know what country you're in so I can't say for sure you can find it in your App Store. If you do a search on "contacts" in your App Store you should be able to find some contact manager apps.
There is a way to create a contact with a group of email addresses.
1. In Notes app create a list of email addresses separated by a comma. Example [email protected],[email protected] Highlight the list and copy.
2. In Contacts create a new contact and give it the name of the group you want.
3. In the email field paste the list of email addresses.
Note: you are probably wondering why you have to copy and paste the addresses into the email field. If you try to type the list into the email field, you will find that there is no way to type a comma in this field.
4. Save the contact.
5. When you create an email, select the group entry from contacts.
You may get a message that the email address is invalid, but ignore the error, because the email should still be sent to all addresses.

Groups Mail not letting me or my groups send messages?

Does anyone know why, but my groups account seems to have stopped me (the owner) or anyone else in my group send messages. They are all authorised members. My subscription renewed recently. Would it be anything to do with that, or has anyone encountered similar problems. Any ideas?

Well, it would seem it was temporary. I don't know what happened, so if anyone has encountered similar problems, I'd still be glad of a reply. It was down for about 5 days, so a little annoying. But all sorted now (fingers crossed)

Hi, just wondering if it was possible to send group video messages? Im in a group of about 27 people and one of the members (he does NOT have a premium account) sent a video message and everyone could see it. He sent it off his android phone. I have tried off my iphone (downloaded the new skype version) and off my computer, it doesn't work. How do I make it work? Do I need to buy a premium account? Is it only android phones that enable group video messaging? Also is there a limit to how many video messages you can send someone before you need to purchase a premiun account? Thank you!

The new "IM settings" item has a small bug in its logic.
If you're using a version of Skype that supports spelling (e.g. .59), and open it up on Win 8.1 that already has the system-wide spellcheck enabled by default--as all do--then this is what you see:
That a) implies that spell check isn't really enabled, and b) doesn't allow you to toggle the setting because it's grayed out.
So, even though spellcheck is enabled in Windows and working in Skype, that's what you see.
To "ungray" the option, you actually have to go to where the blue link says and toggle the settings off and then back on. Once you do that, reopen "IM settings" and you should see this, which actually lets you disable spellcheck just in Skype:
Surely this can't be what MS intended. On systems with system-wide spellcheck already enabled, you should automatically have an ungrayed option along with an instructional message other than "To enable the spell checker," since that's already done.

How do you reply just to sender or at least find out who the sender is in a group text message.

for imessage: the contacts name should be right above the text or pics. If you do a reply to that text everyone in that group will receive your reply. Best to just create a new text to the sender and reply to what he/she text you.
