No Help in E51

Hello
I've noticed that the 'Context sensitive help system' doesn't seem to work for any of the features in my E51 phone, execpt for the newly installed plug-ins. When i select Help in regular menus I get an error - 'No help topics available'. I have updated my OS with the latest 400.34.011
My wife has a E51 as well and she does have the help working.
Please advise.

Yes, launch the Cummunity Help Client and let it do what it asks - update AIR, download the help for offline use.

PIN Code Need Help on E51 SOS/F1 Help..!

Hello guys...
I want to change my pin code of my phone..
Currently I'm using Nokia E51.
I change the PIN Code Request to "Yes" and it asked the PIN code. And so where can i get that pin code? My phone is new one and I already try "12345" and "01234" but it didn't work. So, that means it already wrong 2 times. I was told that i can only wrong 3 times. is it right?
If so, can u guys guide me or help me or any advice about where is that PIN Code????
if i want to clear the timer of the call duration,etc. I just input "12345". Its ok and its work too. No other code...
(But now I change my Lock Code from "12345" to something mix with letter and number) But in the PIN Code Request, i can only enter number. So i think PIN code Request code is not this lock code.
So, can anyone guide me on this?

The default pin code is set by your network so phone them and ask what it is.

Need Help : Nokia E51 Audio Theme

Hello everyone,
Please Help me, How to get Audio Themes Installed on my Nokia E51.
My E51 doesnot show any options to Install the same.
Though I have seen other e51 with my collegue having Audio Theme option in his phone.

You are not alone. I bought a new E51 from a U.S. "lowest price" cellular phone source. The one I received was designed for the Southeast Asia market and did not come with Audio Themes as an option under "Themes" I downloaded a theme set from this site and I found it installed under "Media." Seems that some Nokia E51's don't come with the Audio Theme feature.
If anyone has anything to contribute this, I think it would be very helpful.

Need HELP with sync settings foe nokia E51

Hi, i am trying to setup the syc setting so i can attempt to transfer my contacts to my cars bluetooth, i have looked at some suggestions but they dont seem to work.
This is how far i am at the moment.
FIRST PAGE
INCLUDE IN SYNC - YES
DATABASE IN PHONE - C:contacts.cdb
REMOTE DATABASE - i am not sure what to put here it will not accept any wording and has a little red star next to if i try to.
SYNCHRONISATION TYPE - Both ways
SECOND PAGE
SERVER VERSION - 1.1
DATA BEARER - Bluetooth
HOST ADDRESS - as above i am not sure what to put in here and it will not accept any wording
USER NAME - Not sure what to put here either
PASSWORD - ****
ALLOW SYNC REQUESTS - Yes
ACCEPT ALL SYNC REQUESTS - Yes
Any help would be appreciated as i have tried everything to transfer my contacts but cant get it to work

VoiP on Nokia E51 - Help Needed Urgently !!!

I am located in Copenhagen Denmark and I use a wireless network to connect to the internet. My Nokia E51 is also able to detect the same network when I scan for WLAN. However when I try to use it to make a net call it says ''NO WLAN COVERAGE FOUND''.
Probably a step by step guidance to configure the following would be useful -
- Wireless LAN
- SIP Settings
- Internet Tel

Thanks to bife71 for the reply. The phone was able to detect the wireless network and I was able to use the Gizmo feature to make calls. The network name I was using was ''Netgear''. But since one month I shifted to a new apartment and there the network name is ''NETWORK'', and when I tried to connect using my E51, the WLAN scan is not able to pick up the wireless network at all. I use the same connection to browse the net and the connection is good. But the phone is not able to detect this connection and I am not able to make calls.
HELP PLEASE !!! Telephone charges are lot in Copenhagen and I badly need to use the Voip function for which I bought E51.

Nokia E51 Update Help!

Hi my dad gave me his E51 after he had bought an E71. Whan i received it, the keys especially the home button were working well. After sometime, the left (blue) menu key was not working.
And then it came to the Volume buttons, then to the number 4 button and ro the grenn button.
Then I decided to take some action. I took the mobile to Nokia and asked for the problem.
They told me that it is a firmware problem and that a simple update was needed to fix it.
Unfortunately the usb port on my phone is out of order...Is there any other way to update the phone?

With E51 the only way to update your firmware is by using the USB cable .
The suggestion my fellow member jimmyisland mentioned earlier won't work with E51 cos it has older firmware which doesn't support on air update

Nokia E51 navigation help needeed

Hi, can anybody help me with my E51.
I was told that you could install some sort of sat nav application to the phone wich would enable me to use it like a sat nav.
Since reading some of the discussions that seems to be a little bit inaccurate as it doesnt contain a built in receiver.
Can any body provide me with the correct answer as i would like to use it for some sat nav work but dont know how to, i have found that it does have some sort of sat nav stuff in the nokia maps.
Please can you help and try and give it to me in plain speak as my technical ability is limited.

Although I am speculating here, whereas I can still obtain Drive Europe license for N95 running OVI Maps v3.01 09wk44 b01 as per screenshot here:http://i55.tinypic.com/xdf1gp.jpg as Nokia doesn't seem to be promoting their own brand Bluetooth GPS receivers anymore and OVI Maps since v3.03 is no longer supported for such use that this may well be the reason that you can no longer purchase such license unfortunately.

Must be some strange bluetooth problems with the E51. My newly E51 doesn't connect automatically either to my nokia BH-101 headset! I have to connect manual every time (which is very annoying!!) and after the headset has been switched off I even have to enter the connection code every time, even if I select to have it connected automatically??

760GM-E51 No Sound & shows no audio devices installed-HELP

Friend put it together for me. MSI 760GM-E51 mobo, AMD/PH II X2 555 3.2G AM3 RT, PSU Antec BP550 Plus RT, Mem 4GB GSkill F3-10666CL9S-4GBRL-R. Everything seems to be fine except for no sound. Sound & audio devices in control panel show no device installed. Mobo is supposed to have Realtek HD, Installed software from MSI disk but still no recognition of device. Any help greatly appreciated.

Stand-offs are made of brass/copper/steel/plastic.
They are not rubber.
If there are some that have no matching hole in the motherboard, they short things.
You MUST use them, but only where the board has a hole to match it.

E51 doesn't make a sound - HELP!

it just doesn't make a sound
when you connect it, when you get a message
could it be a loudspeaker fault!?...

I managed to revive the speaker for a brief moment after one of many firmware flashes / hard resets. (But I didn't realize) I only noticed when I went back into changing the alarm ring tone and it actually played the tune. when changing to the next tone - speaker died again.
No luck reviving the sound since.
Problem seem to happen when changing "clock alarm tone" via offline apps / clock / options / settings.
But I'm now convinced that its a software problem. Hopefully the local repair center will replace phone as well...

760GM-E51 help. Not sure if it's a hardware or problem...

Hey all, I have the above listed motherboard, 760GM-E51, and I just started getting a problem with my USB mouse.
Some specs:
AMD phenom II x4 955 black edition
And I'm on windows 7 premium home edition 64bit.
Under heavy load and graphic intensive games out of the blue the mouse will stutter then the driver just disappears and the mouse loses power like it wasn't connected.
It's not the mouse as I've tried a couple different mice. Also in the device manager there are ALOT of ghosted items listed in both the human interface devices, and the keyboards, and the mice and pointing devices.
I've tried booting in diagnostic mode and removing the drivers for a clean install. Didn't work.
I've tried resetting the USB hubs in the device manager. No luck there.
I've tried different ports. All the same outcome.
All my drivers and BIOS are up to date.
Browsing around or solutions to the problem it's fairly common. But I'm baffled why it would happen now and how to fix it.

*I thought it was the power supply as well and changed them out, same problems.
What's happening, is the mouse just seemingly disconnects. It will stutter trying to connect, and then *kaput* The LED on the mouse goes out, no more response. And I'll hear the USB event sound in the background connect, disconnect, connect, and cycle like that about 3 or 4 times. It's either a driver issue that I can't seem to figure out. Or the Motherboard is starting to give up the ghost and I need to fast track a replacement build.
I've got two BSOD's in my minidump as well if you would like to see those, both are memory related. But I'm not sure how that affects the drivers.

E51 power on/off button broken -help!

The power on/off button became more and more difficult to use, until it stopped working altogether. I took it in to be repaired and they said they couldn't as it was part of the system board. So is there any way to power it back on without using the button, so that I can backup the contacts?
Also, there was one video I took with the camera which I hadn't backed-up. I took the memory card out and inserted it into another mobile in the hope that it was stored there, but alas not. So where is it stored?

There might be a problem with either the NSU or the phone itself. Any updates on what happened?
Next time make sure you meet the certain system requirements before proceeding with the update.

Problem with Installing Nokia Ovi Store in E51

I am having problem with installing nokia Ovi store in my E51. Whenever I try to download Ovi store from my E51, it shows a error message that the component is built in and cannot be installed. I dont know wat to do now. Can anyone please give me some advice. Thanks in advance.

This means that the Ovi Store is currently installed in your E52 phone, what I can suggest is try checking under Application Manager > Installed Application, check if the Ovi Store is there. If you can't see it, try to perform the soft reset (press *#7780# on the main screen of the phone and it will prompt you restore all original phone settings? phone will restart. Press YES and it will ask you for the lock code 12345.) If anything else please reply to this message.

Problem with flash in e51

I m facing some problem while browsing internet with my e51 . If its a flash based website then it gives this message that i don't have the flash player installed. I tried to download the flash player from the adobe website. But couldnt do it. Any suggestion would be very helpful.
