No highlighting not latest version
Hello,
I have been exporting my iBooks Author book just through the export option simply because I have not taken the time to look into publishing it for free yet. My students also dont have iTunes accounts. Anyway, I have been getting this message each time I open the book (Attached). It is the most recently saved and then exported version of the book. I cant do the highlighting as it says, any suggestions?

I have the most current iBooks running on my 16 gb wifi iPad mini with iOS 7.02 running.
So that is the scenario I am hoping for with my first chapter of iBooks author. We use edmodo (facebook for school) and I will post it there. However, I am interested in the publishing. I have the free account and all the software and have messed around a little. Main reason it is intriguing is so that I can be as little as a day ahead of kids and it would automatically update the book. Any sense on whether this is a realistic goal? How long before a new verison is published til it is sent out to readers?

This happened to me with Lion (10.7.4). Here's what I did;
1). Download and install the 9.1 Update http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1322
2). Download and install the 9.3 Update http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1545

Adobe Indesign CC trial not latest version of indesign
I've noticed my indesign CC trail is only version 9.2.2 when i tried opening a sample document from the adobe website in order to try out some new features. Surely the trial version should be the latest version 10? If when i activate my trial version to full paid licenced version will it be version 9.22 or 10 and if not 10 how do i go about updating?

MSI download is not latest version
I went through the process to download the msi for version 10.1.102.64 this afternoon. However, when I downloaded the .msi from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html the msi that downloads is still for version 10.1.85.3. I actually run across this on a regular basis when trying to download msi installers from this site. It seems that the msi's available on this site are almost always late in being updated. Any thoughts?Is it possible that the links being provided are wrong?
It would be great to list on the download page which version is avaible. Not only mention version 10.1 but mention the whole version number (10.1.1.02.64). This way you won't get the complain every time and it would be clear to everyone.
Also I think it should be possible to force the browser to get the new download instead of using the cache (using some HTML code or something), so you'll get rid of this problem altogether.
I've been looking everywhere to get the latest version multiple times in the past, but that wasn't necessay if you just mentioned the version number. -
Browser says not latest version of Firefox but just installed.
Every time I launch Firefox, the browser home page says I am not using the latest version, update now. I just updated with that horrid Yahoo toolbar. I want to get rid of that but I cannot get rid of it without getting rid of Firefox. Do I have to go back to using Internet Explorer?

in order to get rid of yahoo, please go to ''firefox > addons > extensions'' & remove the toolbar.
<br>also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted yahoo software from there.

JDK with SQL Developer 3.2.20 Not Latest Version 6 Update
SQL Developer Team,
Why doesn't the new version 3.2.20.09 have the latest JDK 6 Update 37. It still has Update 35 which has security vulnerabilities.

says it is Update 11 "Windows 32-bit - zip file includes the JDK1.6.0_11"
Bob SWhy doesn't the new version 3.2.20.09 have the latest JDK 6 Update 37Timing. Update 37 was not available until 10/16. Update 35 (08/30) had only recently been included due to Oracle Cloud requirements.
As a convenience, one of the 32-bit Windows downloads includes a JDK. There is no commitment to provide the most recent update.

Illustrator CS6 subscription-not latest version?
I am using CS6 (subscription based) and recieved files from a consultant that was of a newer .ai version??? Could this be because they use CC? Can they down save?

I have 'When updates are found, ask me what to do' selected in Options-Advanced, and I am getting daily this box saying, Update to 3.6.24 even though I'm already using it.
If files already have been downloaded then remove the files in the updates and updates\0 folder.
You can also delete active-update.xml and possibly updates.xml (stores the update history).

I'm trying to download the latest version of iTunes and get the message "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run." I have no clue what to do with this to resolve the issue. Thanks for any help!
Repair your Apple software update.
Go to START > ALL PROGRAMS > Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
If you don't find ASU, go to Control Panel:
START > CONTROL PANEL/ > Add n Remove Programs, highlight ASU and click CHANGE then REPAIR -

When I use time machine with my external harddrive to back up computer, some music from iTunes library, and some photos from iPhoto library are missing when I check backup disk. I am using latest version of mountain lion. Am I doing something wrong?
First, Time Machine doesn't completely back up the iPhoto library while iPhoto is running. Make sure you quit iPhoto after making any changes to allow a backup to take place.
This simple procedure will clear your Time Machine settings, including both overt and hidden exclusions. If you have a long exclusion list that can't be recreated easily, you may prefer a more complicated procedure that preserves the exclusion list. In that case, ask for instructions. Otherwise, do as follows.

My computer runs on Windows 7, and I've installed and updated the latest versions of itunes etc, but still to no avail! I've tried different usb ports, troubleshooting, etc... But it still says "One of the USB decuces arrached to this omputer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it".
The iPod is brand new, sent to me by Apple as part of the 1st gen replacement programme. I've been using the cable that came with the 1st gen iPod (I bought the first gen second hand) It always worked on my computer with the 1st gen iPod. So I was wondering, do you think I need to replace my cable in order for my PC to recognize my iPod or is it something else?

Most of the songs on my iPod Classic no longer show up on iTunes on my laptop. I deleted iTunes & installed the latest version but this did not change anything. For example on 1 playlist I have 66 songs but only 1 shows on the iTunes screen. Thanks you for any help.

Am using Blackboard to teach classes at college. Have not updated firefox at college, works great. Wife hit yes to update to latest version last week. Now can nan not reply in the discussion board, the curser is not recognized in the dialog box.
Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
