No iCloud option in Pages

Hi
When choosing 'Open...' and choosing 'Save...' in Pages there is no iCloud option. The template chooser does not have an iCloud icon on the top lhs and the save dialogue does not have an iCloud option.
I am using Pages 4.3.
I have deleted relevant plists.
I have logged out and in again to iCloud in System Prefs and have unchecked and re-checked the Documents option there.
I can access my iCloud docs on my iPad and via Safari on my Mac Pro.
Any thoughts or advice?
Do I need 10.8?

I discovered that 10.8 Mountain Lion is not officially supported on my Mac Pro 1,1 (Intel). However, advice exists on how to install 10.8 on Intel Macs here:

For work, I have an iPad 2 running iOS 7.0.4. I recently updated GarageBand on that device to version 2.0. I have several songs on my work iPad that I would like to share via iCloud to my new home iPad mini (Retina) WiFi also running iOS 7.0.4, also with GarageBand version 2.0 installed.
I went into Settings > GarageBand > and toggled on the "Use iCloud" option on both my work iPad 2 and my home iPad mini.

So, at this point, I'm fairly frustrated because what should be a fairly easy and obvious solution is simply not appearing.
I decide to try the same method on my new home iPad mini. I opened GarageBand, but this time when I tapped on the "+" icon, it brought me straight to the Instrument view. So I went back to Song view. When I tapped on the "Select" button and selected a test song, again no iCloud icon appears anywhere on the screen. Here is the screenshot:
I tried hard restarting both iPads. Nothing. I tried deleting and re-installing GarageBand on the new home iPad mini (didn't want to on the work iPad 2 or I'd lose what I was trying to share!). Again, nothing. I would really just like to transfer via iCloud my personal song files from my work iPad 2 over to my home iPad mini. It should be simple to do and I don't really understand what I'm doing wrong here. I have followed all the instructions correctly, but the "Use iCloud" option just isn't working for me on either device.
I have been unable to find any other support threads similar to my problem. I'm hoping someone here can help me... PLEASE! I'm at my wit's end here :/

You are right, Hulu, that important bit of information is not even mentioned on the GarageBand Help page: Use iCloud with GarageBand
The document only mentions, that iCloud for GarageBand will have to be enabled. And it is really not obvious, that the "Sync Documents and Data" needs to be active to, or your iPad will not sync GarageBand projects, because no application data will be synced at all.

Ipad 3, Numbers keeps turning off use Icloud option

All of the sudden I can no longer retreive documents in Numbers or Pages on my Ipad, they are still on my Iphone but the Ipad says no documents. I went to settings and the use Icloud option was turned off (I never did that!) same with pages, so I turned them back on and tried to access documents and still not there, go back into settings and the use Icloud setting is turned off again. Every time it does the same thing. What is going on?

HT203856 I do not have "share link via icloud" option

I should have a "share link via icloud" option on my mac when I hit the share button. I do not have that option. I seem to only be able to attach the document to email and such but no share link option? What am I missing?
This is a pages document (under 200 MB) being stored in icloud.

When will the option to save to iCloud in pages, numbers, and keynote appear? As of 8/16 I still have the option to save to iDisk, it then I'm informed that iDisk is discontinued and I have a button that sends me here.

The option to save in Pages, Numbers and Keynotes has been around for some time now. It happens automatically on the iPad. There is no "Save to iCloud" option in the apps themselves. You turn it on in the settings.
I have Pages on my iPad and every document that I create or edit on the iPad - is available to me in my iCloud.com account. Did you turn on use iCloud in all three apps? You have to turn on Use iCloud in the settings for those apps. Settings>Pages>Use iCloud>On.

IWork 2.2 (iOS) disables "Use iCloud" option on opening the app???

After updating the the latest iWork apps (v2.2) there were no documents that were previously there...
I checking icloud.com and all the documents were still in existence. I finally discovered that the "Use iCloud" option in the settings for each of the apps had been disabled. I re-enabled it, but every time I re-opened the app it was disabled again!

HT5622 I did not choose "use icloud" option for my initial setup. so, it is creating for not enough space in my ipad. How do I go back and set up icloud to store data?

If you are planning on using iCloud to store files, forget about iCloud and use a cloud storage service like SkyDrive or Dropbox. iCloud is focused on information sync between the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac and PC instead of storing files like MobileMe. It's not worth using iCloud for this.
If you still want to set up iCloud, open Settings > iCloud, log in with your Apple ID and follow its steps

Where is the "Facing Pages" Option in Pages?

Where (oh where) is the "facing pages" button in the new iCloud Pages?? It used to be in the document pallet, but now seems to have gone missing.

There is no facing pages at iCloud.com or Pages 5.2.

All I can say is the books I've created as gifts to my children for their children were received with absolute joy and appreciation (each book chronicled in pictures the first year of each grandchild's life). Granted the sentimental factor had a lot to do with the recipient's enjoyment of the book but they were spetacular. The book with its glossy dust cover is a very impressinve way to present your photos.
As Larry has pointed out so many have posted here that they were very satisfried with their book and Apple is very good about correcting problems.
To make sure there are no errors in the book before you order preview the book as described in this Apple document: iPhoto '11: Preview a book, card, or calendar before you order or print it. If the PDF file shows no errors, either in text typos (my biggest problem) or in missing photos, etc., the printed book will be error free.

Slide Show option in Pages?

I'm a high school teacher who currently uses AppleWorks because it has the slide show feature which is most helpful and easier for me than converting everything to Keynote.
Is there an option in Pages similar to the slide show feature in AppleWorks? If not, is there a third party app out there?

What exactly is it that you need your program to do.
I know there may be a learning curve attached with reverting to keynote, but unless there is a specific need for remaining modern, you can still use Appleworks to do your slideshows.
If it is a more pressing concern to update your collection, post in the Keynote and Appleworks forums to ask if there is an easier way to convert things to Keynote.
Someone may have a solution that does not involve another program.

Windows right click iTunes Match iCloud option missing

In itunes I've noticed that when I right click on a song that hasn't uploaded the iCloud options have gone
Anyone else got this issue and a fix for it?
Should I just reinstall iTunes? or is this a known bug with a fix on the way?

That's because the track is now available in the cloud. You need to enable the iCloud Status column to see then status of the song. Pull down View > View Options, select "icloud status" and click OK. After the initial scan, match and upload process has completed you will see one of two statuses on a track: "matched" or "uploaded." Neither of these will have the "add to icloud" option in the contextual menu. Andy songs that are "waiting" still need to be processed by iTunes Match.
Keep in mind that not all songs actually "upload" to the cloud; most of them will "match" to songs in the iTunes Store. Hence the name of the service: iTunes Match.

HT4859 There's no restore from iCloud option

I got a new phone and it didn't restore from iCloud. I tried to restore factory settings and restore again but there's no iCloud option. Can I get all my info back? iCloud is driving me nuts.

Also here... I have the same problem. After updating to IOS 5 and Itunes 10.5 I can see my Backups on the Preferences / Devices and the no "Restore from Backup..." option on my Iphone on Itunes. I think I tryied everything! I reinstalled Itunes, I reseted Iphone, I even installed Itunes in a PC and moved my Backup File (and also in the PC ITunes it showed on Preferences/Devices), i scorched the net after the solution to this same problem... PLEASE HELP!!!!!
