  • I need an idea how to place multiple videos on one page

Multiple videos on one page in Muse neded for a video portfolio..
Anyone got a great idea how this can be done please. (or direct me to a tutorial link - doing one is all I can find)
I am happy with either embedded or Menu linked on objects to videos.
    Youtube is hosting the videos
I just cant find any way to put hyperlinks or urls in objects and I can not find a way to make small video players in Muse.
If I scale the container ..things go very weird. eg the video goes tiny and into a corner.
I feel like I am working with half a tool box!!!
I cant even find a template where this has been done.
    Any help is appreciated. Thanx.

    That works perfectly thank you.
Now I am wondering if I can have a single "viewer" that will play any selected video from a button , a menu or other trigger?
Info for others if required. :  The You tube ID required in the widget setting is not the URL.  Its an alpha/numeric obtained from part of the YT embedding code.
example - the bold underlined section

  • I have upgraded to Firefox 5 and now the Customize toolbar option seems to be disabled. Any ideas how to fix this as I've now lost all my toolbar buttons?

Since upgrading to Firefox 4.01 and now 5 the Cusomise Toolbar function does not appear when selected. No error message appears and there is no resonse whatsoever. I am running on an XP sp3 desktop. Firefox 5 seems to run fine on my Windows 7 laptop but the desktop just doesn't want to work.

Many users have restored the functionality of Google toolbar by installing the '''''Add-on Compatibility Reporter''''' extension. Google needs to test the toolbar in Firefox 5 and change one line of their code to make it compatible with Firefox 5.

  • How can I upload video from my Canon ZR900 DV onto my my MacBook Pro?

I have system 7.5.5 and plugged my camera into my MacBook Pro using the proper firewire cable (since both ends seemed to fit into their proper places) but now I have no idea how to retrieve the video from my video camera.  Does someone have any idea how I can get this to show up so I can watch this on my computer screen, rather than the small screen on the camera?
    Thanks!
    Erik

    Hi Erik,
In order to import video from your DV camera into your MacBook Pro you will need an application designed to do this. Fortunately you should have iMovie on you computer and that is one of the many things it can do. See this video that shows the process -
    iMovie ’11: Import Video
    http://support.apple.com/kb/VI104
as well as this article -
    iMovie '11: Import video from a tape-based (FireWire-equipped) camcorder

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

  • How to play YouTube videos in HD on iPhone over cellular?

Does anyone know how to play YouTube videos using the Google YouTube app in HD on the iPhone over cellular? I'm asking because I have an iPhone 5 with a large LTE data plan, which I don't mind using a bit more data for better clearity on the videos. I know in the past people have suggested to use YouTube in the Safari broswer to view videos in HD, but I find it to be non-consistant. Anyone have a better idea how to watch YouTube videos in HD on iPhone/iPad over cellular (3G/LTE)?

Did you use iAD to create the widget?   If  you did...  then there support  group  should have answers.
If you used one of the widgets in iBA  - as you have  had no suggestion for a fix... you will need to contact iBooks support.
The  More Like This column on the right shows links to similar problems.
It would  seem to be  related to  your  use of  You Tube and Vimeo content or maybe its how you  put the  widget content  together.
Have  you search the iBA help files, previous posts and the iBA  tips?

I downloaded what's app and snap chat and it keeps coming up about connect to I tunes to turn on push notifications. I'm connected and turned them on but it still says I haven't when I have opened the app. Any ideas how to solve it?

Hey did anyone get back to you on what you can do? I'm having the same problem, it's bugging me! Lol

  • No Video, No Screen share, No idea how to use it.

I have only ever used iChat to msg back and forth with friends overseas. However, in the last few years I have converted my whole family to Apple and they want to start video chatting. I have read countless discussions and maybe I'm not looking in the right area because really I have no idea how to look for an answer when I not sure what the right question is.
So here is my question. How do I set this thing up? I do not know that much about routers and ports and all that but I will list what I have and maybe someone can help me out. I as well as the rest of my family have iChat4.0.7 and Running 10.5.6 for the OS. I am hooked up to the internet via wireless router Lynksys WRT350N. I know how to set the router up so that it's not broadcasting it's name and so it has a hefty password but that's about it. When it comes to ports and know where to type in TCP 5190, 5220, 5222, 5223, 5298 or UDP 5190, 5297, 5298, 5353, 5678, 16393-16402 I have no clue.
I log onto ichat via AIM and Google. For my Google it is connected to talk.google.com for the server out port 5223 and use SSL is checked as far as AIM the server it slogin.oscar.aol.com port 5190 and use SSL is checked.
By the way I can share screens with my wife in house on the same router but not otherwise.
I used to be able to share screens and log onto my edit suite across town when I had to remotely help another editor but now when I bought my new MacBook Pro I can not do that anymore. This might be a completely different topic that should be listed under a share screen discussion board... not found that one yet.
If more information is needed please let me know and I would be glad to give what I know to fix this. It really should not be this hard but for me it seems to have stumped me really good.

    Ok,
There are different methods of opening ports or allowing applications to use ports in a modem or router.
AS you want to Screen Share then it would be best to use UPnP (Universal Plug n Play).
Te Linksys will have this in the Adminstration page of it's set up page s that you can access in a web browser.
Use these Instructions only as far as gaining access then go to the Administration page/tab.
    Enable UPnP
Go to the Security tab and Allow it to Respond to Anonymous Pings

Any ideas on how to edit a video that's already embedded in keynote (latest version)?

You can change the edit points in:    Inspector > Format > Movie

File > Advanced > Change filetype > Package
Save As using a different name
right click the file > select show package contents

Photoshop 2014 (fresh install) cant open a video because: …. the dynamiclink media server is not avalable – any idea how to fix this on os x 10.5.8 ?

    i found the error!
little snitch on os x blocks something (i dont know what exact) of adobe in the background. i have no rule defined for adobe in little snitch, so everything of adobe can go out.
when i stop little snitch, everything works fine - photoshop opens videos without the medialink error, photoshop starts up in seconds and premiere starts without a quicktime error.
i report the problem also to objective developement to fix this!

how on earth do you contact adobe - i lost my serial number before registering my standalone software...the phone service is offshore and not very helpful - the chat (i thought it was realtime) has been slow - if i understand, you need your proof of purchase and they will issue a serial number

To help address performance issues the Identi-e web site is currently down for maintenance.  If you are trying to redeem a product code to obtain your serial number for the Student & Teacher edition of our software you will currently be unable to do so. We would recommend installing the software in trial mode for the moment until the maintenance period is complete.

  • How does chat applet works?

how does chat applet works? What specific technologies should i learn to make a chat messaging work?
thanks in advance for ur help...

Chat applets work on sockets. Normally there are two parts. One server and one or more clients. The clients connect to the server and any message sent by a client is then distributed by the server to all the other clients.
Sun's site is incredibly slow tonite so I'll give you a google link
