No Image Library, Samples Keynote 1.1.1

I bought an iMac G4/800 running Tiger with Keynote 1.1.1 in the Apps folder. When I open the program, click on "File", both the Image Library + Samples selections are greyed out. I cannot seem to locate either of these folders on my computer. How can I get both the Image Library + Samples then install them into Keynote? Thanks, Ken.

I have uninstalled Keynote 1.1.1 I suspect my install was never complete, somehow corrupt + I am using NeoOffice 3.1.2 which has excellent Power Point like software in it. Thanks to all for reading my question. Ken.

  • How do I copy an image from one Keynote presentation to another one?

    I have a previously saved presentation on Keynote in iCloud. I created it from my desktop at work. Some of the images I used for the presentation I want to use again in another presentation, onlh this time I am working off my laptop and don't have the same access to those images. Is it possible to copy/paste images from one Keynote presentation into another? I can't even seem to click on the image and save it.
    Any suggestions?

    Clicking and dragging does not work.
    Click on the image and Copy and Paste
    or
    Inspector > Metrics > File Info > click on the icon of the file and drag it to your desktop
    You can then drag that file back in wherever you want.

  • How to automatically remove the wiki page's images from the Images library , when a wiki page is deleted

    I have noted the following strange behavior inside my Publishing enterprise wiki site collection. Now by default when I create a new wiki page and I add Pictures to it, the pictures will be saved under the “Images” library and will be inside a unique folder
    that have its name similar to the page name.
    But when users delete the picture from the wiki page or they delete the whole wiki page, then the related folder inside the “Images” library will not be removed. So can anyone advice if there is a way to automatically remove the page’s pictures
    folder from the Images library when the page is deleted? as currently i might end up having many pictures inside the Images library which are not linked to a wiki page, and they will waste my server desk space...

    I think, not sure, there's no out-of-the-box solution in SharePoint for this problem. So I can only think of custom solution:
    In event Receiver, ItemDeleting, you can delete images. The only downside is if some other pages are referring the images..... you need to check somehow which is quite time-consuming operations if you have thousand of pages in wiki library
    A timer job, that will run periodically, every day or week, and clean all unused images.
    Hide the default delete button and add your own. And then using your own custom layout page, show a 'configuration dialog' to user if they want to delete both page and images.

    Please do not tell me this is not supported out of the ox ,,,,, i that i should handle this process by myself !!! and SharePoint does not support this feature .... this is another  problem i should include in my list .....

  • Organizing image library with Bridge

    Hi! I'm new to the Adobe Forums but very experienced online. I need some help with Bridge.
    I've been tasked with cleaning up an existing image library of (currently) ~40,000 images. I have another batch of ~8,000 files I'll be adding later. I'm using Bridge CC on Windows 7. I don't have access to Lightroom, haven't used Bridge much since CS3, and use Aperture as my DAM at home, so I'm re-discovering how things work.
    We have numerous, not well-organized folders with many duplicates, retouched versions, multiple sizes, etc. I want to be able to search, delete duplicates manually, and move remaining files into a new folder structure. I'm also assigning labels and adding copyright/ownership metadata.
    I'm having a couple of problems using the Edit->Find command.
    When I've run Find and built a list, then do any editing operation like delete files, the Find command starts over instead of retaining the existing results. This is obviously time-consuming and throws me out of whatever set of images I'm trying to manage. Is there a way to use the Find results and NOT have Bridge start the search over?
    I also need a way to search with both AND and OR operators. Example: Find JPEG or TIFF or Photoshop or Camera RAW images and filename foo. I can't use specific criteria to narrow my search, so I'm getting a huge set of results. This takes forever, eats RAM, and my first issue makes it impossible to do any editing.
    I'd also appreciate any tips or suggestions to make this job easier.
    Thanks in advance for the assistance.
    Dave

    I'm not sure why that functionality isn't just built into a better Find command? Adobe?
    As this is a user to user forum you are not addressing Adobe here, you need to use the Feature request site from Photoshop Family for this:
    http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/
    Also be aware that you have very specific needs and while Bridge can be a very powerful tool for organizing files it s not that very good for archiving in long term with large numbers of files. ideally you should use a combination of Bridge and a real dedicated DAM (digital asset management) application like Canto Cumulus (can be costly for custom build solutions but has also a single user version at a reasonable price) Canto can find duplicates by itself and has the option to build customized queries for searching.
    You also have Extensis Portfolio and some other reasonable cheap solutions you could take a look at. However, for the ideal DAM you need a custom build one that sadly comes also with a price

  • Show image from image library in another list in standard view

    I have a few images in an image library. In an "Awards" list, I want to show the images in a column named "CatImage," based on the value of a column named "Category" in the same list.
    So, for instance, there is an item in the Awards list where the Category value is "Great Teamwork." For that item, I want to show the "teamwork.png" image file from the image library in the "CatImage" column.
    In the image library I have the following items:
    Name                       Path
    customerservice       /Image%20Library/customerservice.png
    hitthemark               /Image%20Library/hitthemark.png
    improvement           /Image%20Library/improvement.png
    results                     /Image%20Library/results.png
    teamwork                /Image%20Library/teamwork.png
    The "Awards" list has the following columns:
    Item    | Category              | Created By  | Modified      |  Status      | CatImage
    Item1  | Great Teamwork  | Dave            | 10/1/2014  | Approved   | <image>
    Is there a way to do this with some java code in a CEWP?

    you need to use lookup column .

  • Do images imported to Keynote retain their previous color profile? In other words, if the Keynote presentation will be shown using an sRGB profile projector, should the images be converted to sRGB prior to importing?

    Do images imported to Keynote retain their previous color profile? In other words, if the Keynote presentation will be shown using an sRGB profile projector, should the images be converted to sRGB prior to importing or can they be batch adjusted in Keynote?

    While I feel your comment doesn't directly address my question, why I am worrying is this.
    This presentation is to a camera club. Color is important. Images shown in meetings are projected by an sRGB color profile projector. Most serious photographers us a color profile with a bigger space than sRGB (typically RGB1998). If you project an RGB1998 image on an sRGB projector the colors go to crap. More precisely they become dull and lifeless. Thus, I am trying to determine whether I need to convert the images I plan to put into my Keynote to sRGB and boost the saturation PRIOR to importing them or whether Keynote has a way to do this as part of the software.

  • Find source for images & movies in Keynote

    If one has a Keynote presentation, and wants to get a copy of the actual image or movie used in a slide, is there an easy way to figure this out?
    Specifically, the images and movies are all kept in the Keynote package and can be perused with a right click and show package. However, if there are lots and lots of images in a Keynote presentation, it may take a long time to manually go through each of the images and movies to see which matches what one sees on the Keynote slide. Can one get information from the slide easily about the name of the image or movie that was used to make it?
    Thanks!

    There are two ways that I can think of to do this. The best would be to have the two different videos on two different slides. Then you can use a disappear transition from one to the other and have the videos play automatically after transition.
    The other option, if you need to keep them all on one slide is to put the two movies in. Set the first one to automatically play after transition. Then add an action of Opacity and set to 0%. Then have the second movie start to play after the Opacity Action.
    I should add, that I have not tested this, but I think that it should work.

  • Upgrade to 2013 leaves "Images" library without Thumbnail Preview working

    The issue I am seeing is occurring after an update from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013. The library is a publishing library created in 2010. These features are enabled in 2013. Looking at the "Thumbnail Preview" column in any view shows the
    generic sheet of paper icon. Viewing the images in the "Thumbnail" view shows the thumbnails correctly. The images for the list in question are all .gif. As far as I know those are the only ones failing, but we could have missed some other filetypes.
    I've tried moving a document to a newly created Images library and the preview shows as expected. So I believe I've pretty easily demonstrated that the actual image is not a problem and that SharePoint 2013 can render it. However, it's not a workable solution
    to move these files.
    If I open the library with Fiddler, I get a 404 error for 256_icgif.gif. From there it's been sort of a dead end as I wouldn't know where to test and see if that's part of the issue.
    This is our dev environment before upgrading to 2013 so we're looking for a fix we can perform during or before the upgrade.
    Thanks!

    Hi Christopher,
    Casting my mind back to the Beta, I hit something similar during a test upgrade and if I remember rightly it was to do with the content type mappings that came across. There are two content types Picture and Image which behave differently, so try swapping
    the available content types in the library and changing that.

  • C# VisualWebpart get Images from a specific Image Library.

    Hello,
    I'm working on a VisualWebpart Project in VS2013.
    Are there any possibilities, where I can get the Images from a Image Library?
    Like this:
    //pseudocodeSPLibrary imagesLib = new SPLibrary("mySite\Library")
    var imageList = imagesLib.GetContent(".jpg")
    Thank you.

    SPList LstPicture = web.Lists["yourlist"];

    foreach (SPListItem item in LstPicture.Items)
    string ImageUrl = Convert.ToString(item["Thumbnail URL"]);
    string ImageName = Convert.ToString(item["Name"]);
    lsts.Add(new ImageCollection(ImageUrl, ImageName));
    or
    SPWeb thisWeb =
    SPContext.Current.Web;
    SPPictureLibrary pictures
    = (SPPictureLibrary)thisWeb.Lists["Houston
    Photos"];
    int pictureCount = pictures.ItemCount;
    int index = randomNumber.Next(pictureCount);
    string source = thisWeb.Url

    + pictures.Items[index].Url;
    var image =
    new Image();
    image.ImageUrl
    = source;
    image.Height

    this.Controls.Add(image);

  • The best way to migrate image library and Lightroom settings form PC to Mac?

    I want to migrate my image library and Lightroom Catalogs and settings over to my new Mac Pro. My images are currently on a separate external drive, whilst my Lightroom Catalogs and settings are on my old PC.
    My intention is to situate my entire image library on it's own dedicated drive, which is one of the four separate drives on the Mac (in this instance, drive 4). I have also installed Lightroom 3 onto drive 1 (the same drive as the OS and all other applications, including CS5). I bought this as an upgrade to LR2, which is on my PC.
    My questions are:
    (a) How do I transfer my LR2 Catalogs and settings housed on my PC, over to LR3 on the Mac?
    (b) Once the library has been moved, what do I need to do to get Lightroom to find them?

    (a) How do I transfer my LR2 Catalogs and settings housed on my PC, over to LR3 on the Mac?
    Simply copy them. When you launch the LR2 catalog in LR3 you will be prompted to convert it to a version 3 catalog. This will create a duplicate. Once you are satisfied all is well you can delete the version 2 catalog.
    (b) Once the library has been moved, what do I need to do to get Lightroom to find them?
    Control click on the topmost folder and direct lightroom to the current location of the folder on the external drive. All images in subfolders should sync nicely.

  • Need several forms to show the same image from an image library

    Hi
    I have several InfoPath forms with a logo at the top of the form. I would like to have the logo linked to an image file so if I have to change the logo, I can just overwrite the file that's sitting in a SharePoint image library without having to edit and
    re-publish 30 forms.
    I can get the file placed in the InfoPath form, but when I publish the form, the image looks correct but the publish process embeds the image. If I view the properties of the image on the form in SharePoint, the URL isn't the URL to the image in the image
    library. It's a long URL that looks hashed.
    So I went back to InfoPath and tried Insert > Picture > pasted the URL to the image in the image library > then clicked the down-arrow on the Insert button and chose Link to File. Now when I publish it, I get an error that says:
    Linked images are not supported by InfoPath Forms Services. To fix this problem, make the image a part of the form template. (Then it has a link to the image from the image library.)
    Is it possible to link to an image file so if the image file is updated the forms will see the new image?
    Thanks in advance,
    Sonya

    Thanks for the reply. So if I understand the info on the links above, to simply display an image that's not embedded in my InfoPath form, I have to create a Rich Text Box in the form, add a Receive data connection to a Picture Library on SharePoint, add
    a Loading Event to the InfoPath form template and edit/paste C# code (because I only want to display one image from the image library and not a repeating table like the example in the article above), then edit and add more blocks of C# code to an "addImageToTable"
    function, save/build/publish the form, then perform an "administrator-approved form template deployment" on the server? lol, all of that seems excessive just to display a non-embedded image. I'll need to decide if I want to fool with that since the logos don't
    change very often.

  • Java image library

    Hello:
    Can anybody help me to find a library in java to work with tiff?. I need to do some operations on the tiff, like resize, negative, put ellipses, circles and annotations over the image. I need an open source library or a low cost one.

    JAI, the Java Advanced Imaging library ought to work.
    It is available from sun, perhaps only as an early access, but search a little and you will find it.

  • Profile Imanges are not getting deleted from Profile Image library

    Hi,
    If I go mysite and edit my profile and set a profile images and save the changes. Image is uploaded to profile Image library in the root of the mysite.
    I Edit my profile again and this time I remove the profile image and save the changes. Image is not getting deleted from the profile Image library.
    as per my understanding it should get deleted. My site clean job is running. user profile is active in AD.
    Thanks
    Omkar

    My first question would be is it a big deal if the picture doesnt get deleted from the libarary?  My understanding is that the profile picture field is a URL link, the first time you add a picture it will provision 3 copies of differing sizes to the
    library.  When you "remove" the picture, it just empties out the picture URL field.  Which is a nice hidden recovery if someone accidently deletes a profile photo they really wanted (Or if your company really locks down picutures so you only get
    a choice of a couple avatars instead of a personal photo).
    Similar issue:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/sharepoint/en-US/17bc8538-568f-4fff-8933-458fdba4b701/delete-user-profile-picture-in-sharepoint-2010-when-account-is-deactivated-or-deleted-from-ad?forum=sharepointadminprevious
    and response:
    Since the user photo library follows certain standards OOB:
    http://iedaddy.com/2010/12/sharepoint-2010photo-management-for-social-mysites/
    I would say just create a small script that will periodically read the UPS and make sure there are no photos sitting in the library not associated to an account... here's an example of accessing the User Profiles w/ Powershell:http://iedaddy.com/2010/06/sharepoint-2010-updating-user-profile-properties-with-powershell/
    You would just modify it to delete image files whose name is not associated to an existing NTName in the UPS.
