I am trying to create VM using Python API.
I have a custom Linux image:

When I used this image to create VM, it failed.
I would like to use the ubuntu 1204 image in the Gallery.
How do I specify the image_name and media_link in my Python code? Basically, where and how do I find the image name and media_link for an image in the Azure image Gallery?

Export to Pdf: Image not shown

I'm a newbie with Crystal Report.
I'm trying to export a loaded Crystal report document in C# to pdf.
I have a image in the document but it will not show. The Image path is an url.
If I export it to CrystalReport format it works fine and the image is shown.
crdoc.ExportToDisk(ExportFormatType.CrystalReport, logPath + debugFileName + "_1.rpt");
If I export it to Pdf format it will not work.
crdoc.ExportToDisk(ExportFormatType.PortableDocFormat, logPath + debugFileName + ".pdf");
I also tried to export the document like this

I found a solution to this problem:

A dynamic image from an HTTP source does not appear in a .NET application deployed to a production system.
Cause
This problem occurs because the library file libcurl.dll is missing from the Business Objects bin directory. The libcurl.dll is not included in the .NET merge modules for Crystal Reports XI and Crystal Reports XI Release 2.
Crystal Reports XI Release 2
1. Find the libcurl.dll on the development system in C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\3.5\bin.
2. Copy and paste libcurl.dll to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Business Objects\3.5\bin on the production system.

Image name shows instead of image?

i have done several homepages in iWeb.
when i tried to make one new today, as usually i dragged the picture from media archive into the page.
instad of showing the image on my iweb page, the filename shows.
and i cant find whats wrong. i want to use the image ...right now i just see file name?

i read some about backing up iweb ...and located the file "domain.sites2"
might klicked it of misstake i dont know.
when i drag an image to the page its wierd...i just see the linkname still....if i leave mouse pointer over image name ill see the path to the domain.sites2 folder...
adding pictures not been used before maybe klicking that file will insert, images used earlier wont show, just file name...

Fix for iTunes Producer error message? Fixing unallowable image names in iBA Gallery

In Gallery I had image names with unallowable characters, e.g. "photo name.jpg". I changed the name to "photoname.jpg" and re-added it in Inspector>Interaction>Gallery Media. It still appears as "photo name.jpg"??? Even in a new Gallery Widget?
I'm new here so please forgive me if I am violating any protocol. I would greatly appreciate any guidence in correcting my error.

The delivery of your book ended in error because there are image files that do not match the file extension type. Make sure that all image files inside the book file end with one of the following: .jpg or .png and that the image file itself matches the file extension type."
I did have a few tif images which I converted to jpg.
But, I ran across this posting which suggested I had other problems with my naming convention.

So, it turns out, the problem with these png-images is the NAME. There are no restrictions, to name your pictures, but when you intend to use them in iBooksAuthor, make sure, that there are no "wrong charakters" in the name. You may use a to z charakters, 1 to 0 numbers and "-" and "_". That's it.
The file "St. Giles.jpg" has
a) a ".", which is wrong and
b) an empty space, which is wrong too.
When you use screenshots, things are getting even worse "Bildschirmfoto 2013-02-08 um 08.02.  15.50.19".
So, if there are error codes as specified, you have to go through the document, click on each and every image and then check the filename. As you see below, you must activate the image itself to see the filename (in this case the filename is corrcect)."

I have selected Print and a image is shown. When selected in library mode the image I want is shown, different image in print mode? How do I get the image in library mode to show and print?

When I select an image in library mode the image I want it is shown. When I go to print mode a different image is shown. Why doees this happen? How do I get my required image to show and print?

Align title in bridge web gallery, change font of image names.

I have a web gallery that was created in Adobe Bridge (slide show template). I have most of the customization done that I want.... except for 2 issues:
1. I would like the gallery title to be right aligned rather than the default left. I have, in the past accomplished this... but for the life of me, I can't figure out how I did it now! Any help would be appreciated.
2. I have given the images names.... how do I change the font color of these image names that appear?

I haven't used the Bridge galley, but my first guess would be dig into the gallery's CSS. It's either in a CSS doc or in the head of the gallery pages, but it's sure to be in CSS somewhere. This would be for colors and font anyway,,, I don't know if Bridge formats wilt CSS or tables, you just have to open the documents in Dreamweaver to see.

Earlier in the week I created PHP photo/image upload form so clients will be able to upload to my site, it worked very well uploading image to designated directory to the C:/path/ but there is more that I would like to do with the form, and that is to write the image name with the extension, “Joplateau.jpg” for example in the database after upload. I wanted to use hiddenField but it's not working for me, may be i am not doing it right. If any one has an idea how to do this please let me know, and thanks in advance.

Pass image name and path to flash from html

Hello Flash Forum,
I would like to use Flash to display a larger image in an
HTML page that opens on top of a window with
thumbnail images. The thumbnail page will be a php page. If
the user clicks the thumbnail, I would like to open a swf that
diplays the larger image. I would like to pass the path and name of
the image to display to my swf. It would open a browser page (or
just a swf file) over the thumbnail page. The use could then close
the larger image display, and click another thumbnail, etc.
How could I do this? I have a swf file that will display the
image, but I would like to pass the image name from outside the swf
file.

Some Artwork images are shown and some are not, in Finder ???

I scan the CD Cover of my music CD that I put in my iTunes (all with the same scanning setting; size, resolution, JPG...). When I go in the saved folder (Album Artwork) in Finder, some images are shown and some are not (even in Cover Flow), for those who are not, they only show a default image of a little boy with JPEG written in the center. When I go in iTunes, the image Artwork are OK, it's only in Finder that some are shown and some are not. In Finder, when I click for more info on the file, all the info seem OK and I see the preview image as it should. The bug is only in Finder.
What is the problem, and how can I fix that ???

If you select one of the images for which you can't see the thumbnail, Control + Click and select "Get Info". Can you see the thumbnail Preview in that view (Expand it if necessary)? What are the Sharing & Permissions at the bottom?

Change default image names

I'm not finding much regarding the new iOS with this question. We have the need to change the default photo name to date and time stamps on the iPhone 4S.. using the lates iOS... is this possible?
I'm not seeing any way to change image names at all on the phone.

Click on the image and then do Command+I (Get Information). Where it says 'Open with Preview', change it in the drop-down menu to 'Photoshop' and underneath than click on the button 'Change All'. All images of that type will now open in Photoshop.

I'm pretty sure the IPTC data gets completely consumed inside an Adobe
PDF file, even if the original images have this metadata or extended
data (XMP) information. In other words, they do not make it through.
Try downloading a copy of Enfocus Pitstop - I know you can link to an
original authoring document (InDesign/Quark) through the CertifiedPDF
route but you cannot display the image name?

Syndicate Images(name) from MDM

Hi All,
as syndication of image file is not possible from MDM, and we can only syndicate image names from MDM. Say we have a record in MDM and an image(ABC.jpg) attached to it. Now we edit that record and add another image(DEF.jpg) to it. Now if we want to syndicate the record only with the new image(DEF.jpg), MDM doesn't allow this feature as an out of box functionality.
Is it possible to achieve this using JAVA API's and how, or is there any workaround available for this, on which some one has worked.

Try this.
Create a time stamp field in the repository and specify Image field as selected field property for time stamp. So this field will hold time when image is changed for the record. Now in syndicator use this time stamp field and specify filter to select all the records which have image changed after last syndicatin date (you need to know last syndication date in this case, which is easy) for record selection . In this way you can acheive your requirement. But you may face problem if Image Field is multivalued. Because in that case it will syndicate names of all the images, and not only new images names.
