No images after upgrading to MX7

After upgrading to ColdFusion MX7 I noticed my exisitng .cfm
pages are no longer displaying images on the local testing server.
I did see that I had the old CFusionMX and a newer CFusionMX7
folder. I moved all my files from the CFusionMX folder to
CFusionMX7 folder using the same file structure for images. Nothing
else changed however when I launch the web pages I get red x marks.
I did update my site data to match the new folder locations. And
even duoble checked my image paths. Any Ideas ?

I did see that I had the old CFusionMX and a newer CFusionMX7
folder.
That could mean that you didn't completely uninstall the old
version of Coldfusion before installing MX7. You might have copied
old system settings that affect images or path. Alternatively,
there may still be places where you have to change
CFusionMX into
CFusionMX7.

  • Blurred low res images after upgrade, no export, READ DON'T UPGRADE

Hello, I am Pro photographer, I mainly have used iPhoto for family stuff. After upgrading from 09 to 11 ALL my images seem to be blured as if they were only the reference thumbnail. Trying to export the images to my Desktop to see what is going on iPhoto just hang and then crashes.
I've just lost nearly 10 years of family pictures? come on Apple this is like a early Alpha.

I have now upgraded three different machine with different iPhoto databases and have not had any issue with the clarity of the photos. I suspect that something happened to your photos during the conversion process.
I suggest you go back to your original iPhoto library and do a new conversion with iPhoto '11 to see if you get a better result as no one else has reported this issue.

  • Problems unmounting/ejecting a disk image after upgrade to 10.4.9

Since I upgraded to 10.4.9 I have the following problem:
After viewing a slideshow of pictures located in a disk image I cannot unmount/eject this image. I receive an error message that the image cannot be deactivated/ejected as some file is still in use.
Using the activity monitor I checked which files are in use by the Finder and found out that the last picture shown by slideshow is still referenced.
To me it seems as if the upgrade from 10.4.8 to 10.4.9 either changed the behaviour of slideshow (which does not close all files when terminated) or the eject image function (which does not force all open files in the image being closed).
The only bypasses I found so far are
    - using "umount -f" on Unix level (think I have to be an admin for that)
    or
    - logging off and on again / restarting the computer
Has anybody got other ideas how to force the unmount without using native UNIX commands in a terminal window?
Can someone tell me how I can report this bug to apple? On Apple's support pages I could not find any information on that.
Thanks in advance for any helpful hints.

The "Dock" contextual menu item to "Relaunch" the "Finder" is the equivalent of a "Force Quit", which is quite different from a regular "Quit".
Unless it is being unresponsive to a normal "Quit" signal, force quitting any application is not recommended because unsaved changes will be lost. In the case of the "Finder", any sort of file transfers in progress will be interrupted. Data loss may also occur if a file containing "comments" has been moved at some point earlier in the login session.
A normal "Quit", such as what occurs when logging out, quitting through the menu, using AppleScript or the "Quit" option of "Activity Monitor.app" ensures that the app quits in an orderly manner.

  • Safari won't load some images (after upgrade to Mavericks from Lion)

    Hi,
I've noticed that since I upgraded my OS from Lion to Mavericks, Safari won't load all images on certain websites.
I've tried loading the same pages on my daughter's MacBookPro (she upgraded from Mountain Lion to Mavericks) and everything works just fine.
We cross checked the Safari preferences and everything is identical.
Below are two pictures, the first one taken from my computer, the second one from my daughter's. As you can see, in the first photo the image won't display, while it's been perfectly loaded in the second photo.
    Here's the website: http://blog.alice.tv/berengario/2013/11/16/trasmissione-su-arturo-tv/
I've tried opening the same page on Firefox, and all images are perfectly displayed.
    Could you please help me?
    Thank you for your support!
    Kind regards,

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, or by corruption of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and  Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Actually I don't know what to do now. Maybe strange is that when I upgrade 7.0.220 software to 7.3.112.0 the wlc hangs after a while and I have to unplug power. Then after reconnecting the power, the unit has the new release.
Reason for the upgrade is.... Windows 8 clients cannot establish a wireless connection! It seems that this issue is resolved at least in the version I try to put on it.
    Thanks for any help

    Hi Ralph
Did you by chance push the Russian LDPE code to your wlc ?
What is the full file name of the code you upgraded to ?

Please note transcript of chat session with Apple support, below:
    Chat Transcript
    Friday, June 20, 2014 05:20 AM
    Duration: 33 minutes 26 seconds
    Cynthia:
Thanks for contacting AppleCare chat support. My name is Cynthia, and I'm a Senior Advisor. How can I help you?
    Cynthia:
Hello Peter, how are you today?
    Peter:
I was told to contact Apple about a problem that Adobe says is being caused by "bugs" in my GPU hardware which is causing horizontal and vertical banding when editing masks in the latest version of Photoshop 2014.
    Cynthia:
    Thank you for your patience!
    Peter:
    Okay...
    Cynthia:
I am sorry to hear you are having issues with the Adobe. Do you mind if I ask a few more questions for clarification?
    Peter:
    No, go ahead..
    Cynthia:
Are you chatting from the computer with the issue?
    Peter:
    Yes
    Cynthia:
Are you only getting that message when working with Photoshop or with other applications as well?
    Peter:
The problem is also showing up in the latest version of Adobe's Lightroom in images that are saved from Photoshop. The distortion is different there. It never happened with the previous versions of either LR, or PS.
    Cynthia:
What OS X do you have and have you recently upgraded? Did it work in previous versions of OS X?
    Peter:
10.9.3, and yes it worked in the last version(s).
    Cynthia:
Are you using upgraded versions of Lightroom and Photoshop? You stated is did not happen in previous versions.
    Peter:
Yes, upgraded versions and it never happened with the previous versions.
    Cynthia:
Thank you. That helps to narrow it down! It sounds like a compatibility issue. Have you spoke with Adobe about this?
    Peter:
Yes, and their lead Photoshop engineer emphatically stated it is a problem with the GPU hardware on the 2013 Mac Pro. Others have written in with the same problem, again, only on the latest Mac Pro.
    Cynthia:
I would like to see what I can find on this and once again, I am sorry to hear about this issue! Just a few more minutes, please.
    Peter:
    Sure..
    Cynthia:
Again, thank you for your patience. I have found information on the issue you described from the Adobe support site blogs. They have listed a fix for the issue till a permanent one is found. This is an issue that Adobe will need to fix in their application. For support of their products, we are required by the producers to refer you to them for support. Here is the link: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2014/01/photoshop-cc-14-2-update-jdi-features-mac-proos- x-10-9-compatibility-and-notable-bug-fixes.html
    Cynthia:
Are you able to access that link, Peter?
    Cynthia:
My daughter also uses those applications and I thank you for bringing that to my attention!
    Peter:
I have the link/article and will read it... It is referring to the last version, not the current one. I have a feeling Cris Cox from Adobe is right, that it in the end might be an Apple problem but I'll see what Adobe has to see about the article.
    Cynthia:
I do understand. Please let us know what you do find out. For the moment, I have not found any other fix or work around.
    Cynthia:
If you do need to get back with AppleCare, your case number for this issue is ************.
    Peter:
Okay, thanks Cynthia! BTW, will I get a copy of this chat to include with my communication with Adobe?
    Cynthia:
I will be happy to send that out, it will go out as soon as the chat ends. I thank you again for bringing that to my attention!

  • No audio on finished DVD or disk image after upgrade to QuickTime 7.1.3

I have iDVD 6.0.2. I routinely burn iMovie output to a DVD a couple of times a week. Yesterday I was getting ready to burn a DVD and got a software update alert for QuickTime. I installed 7.1.3. The DVD I burned after that update doesn't have audio. I deleted the encoding and made a disk image. No audio on that either. Until the QT update I had never had any problem burning DVDs. The iMovie output plays fine in iMovie and iDVD. The only plugin in my libraries is AppleIntermediateCodec.Component (v1.1).
    Thanks for any help!
    MacMini G4 1.42 ghz 512mb Superdrive   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

I also had an audio problem with a iDVD6 for project I was working on last week (I have latest QT update). I added 2 different iMovie projects into iDVD6 Dual Layer project using submenu pages. Total size from Project Info was close to 7.7 GB limit using 'Best Performance' option. I selected 'Best Quality' option and it showed over 4 GB. I used this option and saved a disc image of this project. After done, I relooked at DVD size from Project Info and it now showed close to 7.7 GB. When I opened image file with DVD player, first movie played fine with audio. The second movie had video, but no audio.
After skimming some of the posts in this discussion group, I found one suggesting that if audio problem occurs, export your iMovie project with transitions, etc, as full quality DV, then bring back in as new iMovie project and re-establish chapter markers. I did this for the second movie only, and readded to original iDVD6 project. After recreating a disk image, I opened in DVD player and the video and audio was fine for both movies. Burned disk worked fine too.
Sooo ... if you have no audio problem with your iDVD6 project, if you recreate your iMovie project using procedure above and bring it back into iDVD6 project, maybe ... the audio might be there. At least it worked once for me.
If this trick works for anyone else, please post here for all to read.

  • Failed to load backgroud images after upgrade to 4.1.1 in Mozilla Firefox

    Hi,
I have recently upgraded our test APEX environment from 3.2.1 to 4.1.1.00.23. Everything went smoothly - I have only one small but annoying problem. In both administration and administration services some background graphics are not displayed. This issue occurs only under Mozilla Firefox (in MS IE it OK). The application frontend is OK in both browsers.
Under Firefox, I inspected the sourcecode in Firebug and the relative links to images. e.g.
    background: url("../apex/builder/bg-region-darkblue-r.gif") no-repeat scroll
show message "Failed to load the given URL".
I suppose that the issue might be somehow related to the fact that our application is accessed via apache proxy. Because when I open the administration and/or administration services page in FF directly on the server, it displays correctly (incl. images).
But the network (Apache proxy) configuration is exactly the same as in the previous version of APEX where we had no problem. Something must have changed in the sourcecode of the new version...
Does anybody know how to tackle such an issue? I'd like to have it solved before upgrading the production environment.
    Thank you.
    Zdenek

I forgot to mention that we use EPG instead of Apache HTTPD.
And, of course, I updated images following instructions in http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23903_01/doc/doc.41/e21673/otn_install.htm#BHAJIGDA
    >
    As you have mentioned earlier
Because when I open the administration and/or administration services page in FF directly on the server, it displays correctly (incl. images).Which means the images are uploaded correctly in EPG.
Maybe there is a virtual directory, or some other setup, on you Apache proxy that is still pointing to a folder has does not have the latest images.
As you have rightly concluded earlier this is most probably something to do with your proxy setup. Not Apex.
    So, check you httpd file.
    Cheers,

  • Missing Images After Upgrade to OS 4.5

I upgraded my handset to OS 4.5 today, and noticed that the sample pictures that came with my phone (or images that came with my phone in the device memory), are no longer there. Prior to my updating to OS 4.5, the images were found under Pictures/Preloaded Pictures.
Have the been moved to another location (they are not on my media card), or have they been deleted? I really liked those images as my handheld's background, and would like to get them back.
    Thanks!

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I don't recall if .77 had the preloaded images or not, offhand.
Enabling Mass Storage on the Media Card will allow you to treat the Media Card as a removable drive when you are connected via USB to the PC.

  • Safari has no images after upgrading to OSX10.4.7

Upgraded OS this morning and now no pictures in any site. And yes I've done "Preferences, Appearances, Display images". Running Safari 2.0.4 on an iBook G4. Never any problems before.

    Yes, try the 10.4.7 combo
If that doesn't solve it, check your Console log ( the Console app is in Applications/Utilities/ ) for any messages saying "...unsupported color conversion request..."
If you do see these, locate the file /System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/I mageIO.framework/Versions/A/Resources/libJPEG.dylib & use 'get info' to check the file size..... it should be 143,244 Bytes.
If it's some other size, post back here & you can either use Pacifist to pull the right file from the update package, or I'll gladly email you the correct version with instructions.
For more background on this, check out some of the posts here

  • Keynote deleted my images after upgrade? Not acceptable.

Keynote's updated functionality was already a step backward—but the fact that upgrading to 6.2 has now caused images to disappear from my presentation? That's unacceptable.
This is a massive FAIL, Apple.
I use your products so I don't have these issues. This experience is not remotely close to my expectations.

A similar problem here too....  Upgraded to 6.2, opened a file created in 6.1 (just last week!) and get the error message "This presentation may look different.  Some images are missing because they were deleted from the document."  Where is the attention to this?  It has been happening for a while now:
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/24383846#24383846

I have been a die hard Keynote user in the past.  How can I continue to use this product if it doesn't work?

  • Scheduled Tasks Run Twice After Upgrade To MX7

I've recently upgraded to CFMX7 and now my scheduled tasks
are running twice. I've recreated all of the tasks, rebooted the
server, and made sure that I'm on V 7.0.2 but nothing seems to
help. Is there a solution for this out there?

I've got a couple ideas. I haven't seen this before but this
should be some stuff to try. There's a file in the ColdFusion lib
directory called neo-cron.xml ... this contains an entry for each
    scheduled task.
I'd be very careful about making any changes to this file
directly but take a look at it. Are your scheduled tasks
duplicated? If so you can either remove the duplicates manually if
you're feeling brave, or try deleting the scheduled tasks in the cf
admin and then recreate them. Perhaps that would get rid of the
duplicates. If you don't see dupliactes in this file then somehow
ColdFusion's process that runs the scheduled tasks is probably
running once for the old install and once for the new one.
Sorry I don't have any more definitive info but hope this
helps point you in the right direction.

Actually it does. It imports them And once they Are innate uploaded images can be viewed full screen. But if opened with, say, Photogene, iPad shows only a very small and low res thumbnail....
