No interface mapping in interface determination.

Hi ALL,
I am doing a simple File to File scenario. i have created all repository elements and activated them.
Now while configuring them in Directory at interface determination level I can enter
inbound Interface but in interface mapping i can´t see my Interface mapping object so i am getting error while testing scenario in Directory.
Can anybody tell me where exactly can be problem_
Please note that i have created interface mapping object in repository.
Thanks,
Atul

Hi Atul,
After creating your business system or business service, click on your BS and include  the sender and receiver interfaces.

  • Add Interface mapping to Receiver Determination is not possible

    Hello,
I create some scenarios from R\3 to BW and R\3 to File.
When I want to add Interface mapping to Receiver Determination is not possible.
Not to choose from list and not with copy and paste.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Elad,
Just check whether ur interface mapping that u defined in IR is activated properly or not.It will be present in the hit list as soon as u click the help button of the interface mapping of the interface determination in the ID.

  • Interface mapping in Interface Determination??

    Hi friends..
    iam doing IDOC to File..
in message mapping ,i changed the occurance of IDOC to unbounded and did the same in interface mapping also..
but in intrerface determination i am not getting Interface mapping ,i tried Extended interface mapping also..
    please suggest me..
    thanks and regards

    Hi,
MultiMapping will not work for IDoc's.You need to use Idoc packaging for this,

  • No interface mapping in Interface detemination

    Hi all ,
while creating interface detemination Integration Configuration i am not able to choose any thing in interface mapping though i have created one interface mapping in integration repository .
    regards
    praveen

    Hi Praveen,
Please make sure u have activated ur IM and MM.
If yes then also check tht whether u have chosen the right pair of interfaces.
If u have a udf in ur MM then check tht it is error free.
Please revert back in case of issues.
    I hope this helps.

  • Interface mapping Object _Doesn't exist in RuntimeCache_Error_SXMB_MONI

    Hi  EXperts ,
    Issue in XI --Dev System
I have an simple IDOC  (DESADV.DELVRY03) ->Flat File Scenario . Mapping is done as per the Line of Business requirements .
I have tested mapping and  I get the response as expected.
We released the IDOC (Outbound Processing ) in SAP R/3 , but I get the mapping error in SXMB_MONI.
    Error:

Activtaed the Interfcae mapping and refeshed the  configurtaion Object :  Interface , Receiver Determination.Noticed  that we have error in Cache Notifictaion --Design Part . The Configuration --Cache update is fine.
I have raised the Ticket to resolve this error.
But as this was high proirity task to be delivered, how can i try fixing this issue myself . I have tried couple of times, creating new interface mapping , activating , referring new interface mapping in : Interface , Reciever Determination but nothing fix this issue.
    Please provide me inputs.
    Thanks,
    Vara

Thanks to all of your for your support .
Yes as Udo said , I  did reassign the Interface mapping in : Interface Determintaion / Reciever Determination and activated .
Buta s this isuse was in Development System , and I reliased that there was mismatch of Password entered for : PIAPPLUSER --pipeline user  and Cache Error  with SLD  in Design . Configurtaion / SLD .
Raised ticket for Cache Error which got solved . Resetting password of PI service user also worked .
Release new IDOC in WE19(--outbound DESADV.DELVRY03) and it was successfully processed  to File(xml).

  • Why no interface mapping?

    Hi Xier,
    Secnario as following:
    1. JDBC sender send message to BPM.
    2. BPM call Sync ABAP Proxy
    3. BPM get proxy response
    4. BPM use JDBC receiver write data back to DB.
So we need to define interface Determination for step 1.
we input Inbound Interface, but the interface mapping is optional, which show "Not Specified" in Receiver determination.
My question is why here don't need to input interface mapping, this interface mapping should transform JDBC sender interface structure to BPM's abstract interface structure. Why it's not mandatory?

    Hi,
Since the Message type of both the Inbound Interface and the Abstract Interface are same it is not mandatory to do mapping explecitly.

  • Interface Mapping Not found in ID

    hi all,
I am not getting the Interface mapping in interface detemination.
I have cleared all the cache.
My inbound mapping and interface mapping in IR are corret and activated.
Please suggest me possible cause for the problem.I have to give a demo by today EOD.
    thanks and best Regards,
    Nidhi

    Hi,
May I Kidnly request you to explain your scenario in more details.
as per the information till you will not activate the Inteface Mapping, it will not be available in ID.
Thus you need to temparory create the request side mapping with request side Message structure and don't mapp all the fields =, just mapp the header nodes. and use it in Interface Mapping.
I think you don't wish to pass any data to receiver just to triger the event on receiver with call and the receiver will give back teh response to you.
    Thanks
    Swarup

  • ** Interface Mapping - No Objects Found - IDoc is receiver

    Hi Friends,
In our scenario, sender is File & receiver is IDoc. For each record in file, we need to created one IDoc.  IDoc is CREMAS.CREMAS05.  For this as usual we exported XSD and changed the occurrence of IDOC node as minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded"  (as explained in Michael Blog - 2762) and did the message mapping successfully.
While create Interface Mapping, (Message interface (OB) for File, no message interface for IDoc, we directly use CREMAS.CREMAS05 in the target interface) and 'Read Interfaces' and select the Message Mapping option' it shows 'No Objects Found'.  What could be the problem ?
Note that earlier it was working fine (Some times ago), now it is showing this error 'No Objects Found".  I am very confused why this error is coming.
Kindly help me friends, to solve this.
    Kind regards,
    Jegathees P.

    Friends,
Thanks for all your reply. When we click Read messages button automaticlly our source message (type) and target message (type) will be selected. Then, we select Mapping Program which is suitable for the Source & Target Message. When we do like this, it is showing the error 'No Objects Found'.
I want to check with you Is this due to what reason ? (Because, earlier it was working fine)
Eventhough we select 'Any' to 'Any' and select the mapping, save. After that If we do consistency check , it will show an warning message about the namespace issue.

  • IDoc to IDoc Scenario - Correct Interface Mapping configuration

    Hello All,
i have to configure an Interface Mapping for an IDoc to IDoc scenario.
IDoc Type for sending and receiving already imported and located under Imported Objectes\IDocs in respective Software Component Version.
Now, how is the correct configuration? Add the sending respectively receiving IDoc Type directly to Source Interface/Target Interface under Display Interface Mapping or create first a sending Message Interface and a receiving Message Interface and add the IDoc type under configuration Message Types. Then add the Message Interface to the Interface Mapping.
The selection for direct import of the IDoc structure under the Interface Mapping (Source Interface/Target Interface) is possible.
    Many Thanks in advanced!
    Jochen

    hi,
for IDOCs (if you don't use a BPM)
you don't need any message interface
so if you have already created a message mapping
you can put the IDOCs directly to your interface mapping
    then click on read interfaces
and select your message mapping program
if you want to learn more about IDOCs and XI
have a look at my book:

  • Message Mapping Vs Interface Mapping

What are the differences between Message Mapping and Interface Mapping?

    Hi,
    Message mapping
    1) Transformation from one message structure to another message structure
    2) Message Mapping is nothing but a set of rules for producing target XML from the source XML according to business requirement. These rules are nothing but relations between the source XML tags and target XML tags
    3) 4 types(graphical, java, xslt, abap) mapping
    4) You can check whether a complete message mapping functions at runtime once you have described it, by using the Test tab page.
    Interface mapping
    1) Interface mapping registers a pair of interfaces for a scenario and specifies the message mapping to be used
    2) you can execute multiple mapping programs consecutively
    3) To check whether an interface mapping that you have defined functions at runtime, test the interface mapping on the Test tab page.
    Limitations
    1) value mapping table cannot be accessed here
    2) runtime constants of the mapping runtime are not set,but set to dummy values.
    differences
message mapping you declare how the source message will be mapped to the the target message.
What source field will be mapped to the target field and any conditions for it to happen.
interface mapping you define what interfaces that will be communicating with each other. You will also see what message mapping the interfaces are using to exchange data. You need to do the message mapping before you do the interface mapping to get it correct.
    Other releated things
->I think there can be Interface mappings without any Message mappings. This will work properly if both the source and target interfaces are of same type.
There might be less sense in these scenarios but they cannot be ruled out. They can help at times.
Interface mappings register your mapping program for an interface pair in the Integration Repository. If you require a mapping at runtime, it is sufficient to select the interface mapping for the interface pair at configuration time.
->The Integration Server uses the interface mapping to identify associated mapping programs for request messages, response messages, fault messages, or all three.
You can also create multiple interface mappings for the same interface pair.

    Hi,
You can only choose the Interface mapping for the Enhanced recevier determination in the extended tab of Receiver determination. & I dont see the Interface mapping in the select list.
Where do I have to check for the proper outbound message???

  • Interface Mapping not found in interface determination

    Hello experts,
I am facing a very basic problem in my scenario which is stoping me from moving forward.
In interface determination when i select the inbound interface and then try to select the interface mapping, nothing is shown in the value help.
this is happening for all my scenarios even though the IR configurations are correct and I have also refreshed the cache.
What can be the problem? some installation problem, SLd prob or IR??? Please help as i am stuck!!
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Yash

    Hi Yash,
This is really very strange despite of most probable solutions.
Can you do one thing delete all configuration objects in Directory and activate. Now in repostiory remove mapping programs(message mapping and interface maaping) and activate.
Check the message types and data types and message interfaces.
Specially in message interfaces check whether correct message types are assigned. If so proceed with new mapping programs and activate the objects.
Also do a fresh configuration in ID, activate and execute your scenario.
One question, can you give a arrow diagram of scenario(e.g. file>xi>JMS)
    Thanks,
    Gujjeti

  • Interface-Determination: selecting an interface mapping not possible

    Hi all,
I configured a scenario CRM (IDoc) -> XI -> Oracle database using BPM. Now I want to configure the same scenario without a business process. But in the interface determination it's neither possible to drag&drop the interface mapping, nor select it from the list. What's the problem?
    Thanks in advance
    Dominic

    Dominic,
Like pointed by Michal , you have missed something somewhere.
1.Look into message mapping and check what the source and target message types are.
    2. Look into Interface mapping and check if  the message interfaces  use the same message types as in the message mapping
    3. Look into Interface determination and see if the source and inbound message interface is the same as in Interface mapping.
    4. Make sure interface and message mapping is activated.!
