No interfaces visible in ECC's SPROXY for user A, while visible for user B

Hi guys,
we're facing a strange issue.. One user can see wothout any problems all available intarfces in the ECC's SPROXY, but another one doesn't. This obviously can't be then a problem of a connection, and what is even more interesting, both users have the same roles.
Any idea what could be wrong there?

Its really strange . Try to execute connection check programs from the user (interfaces not visible)
SPROX_CHECK_IFR_ADDRESS
SPROX_CHECK_HTTP_COMMUNICATION
SPROX_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE

Hi Denish,
You have 2 ways of loading data from R/3 to APO.
1. R/3 to BW cube to APO-BW cube to APO planning area
or
2. R/3 to APO-BW cube to APO planning area
BW can be a enterprise BW system ( independent) or you can use the BW inbuilt in APO also referred to as APO-BW.
The only difference between the 2 BW systems is APO-BW can not take the load of reporting where as the enterprise BW can.
Unless your company policy requires the enterprie BW system, I suggest using 2nd way.
You can load the data from R/3 to APO-BW cube using extractors either generic or standard depending on your data. You need to have a RFC connection setup between APO-BW and R/3. ( This is not CIF).
When you load the data into the APO-BW cube, you just have to load the data from the cube to APO planning area using the transaction /sapapo/tscube.

There no new functionality in ECC 6.0 for auto clearing of bank clearing account. Still you need to depend on Manual / Electronic bank statement to clear them.

Custom filed not appearing in APO while ECC-APO CIF for Sales Order

Hi,
I require a custom field to be passed to APO while CIF.
For this i created a custom field ZZKDGRP in CIFSLDCCUS in ECC and CI_SLDCCUS in APO.
While CIF in ECC ,the field is passing to the structure CI_SLDCCUS in APO.
but it is not appearing in product view /SAPAPO/RRP3.
The characteristic column (Pyramid) is blank.
Please help..suggest alternative..

New tcodes in ECC 6.0 for obsolete tcodes in 4.6C

We are doing security upgrade from 4.6C to ECC 6.0.
There are some tcodes have been deleted in ECC 6.0, but I don't which new tcodes will replace them.
I am looking for the new tcodes in ECC 6.0 for list of tcodes in 4.6C (below) which have been deleted in ECC 6.0:
AL02, AL08, AL10, AL18, AL21, AL22, CN90, CN92, CN94, KSRP, SAPSAP_IA,
SB02, SO80, ST08, S_P9C_18000155, S_P9C_18000155
Note: i verify the table PRGN_CORR2 in ECC 6.0, and the list provides from OSS note 991377, however both of them not include those tcodes I mention above.
Your input with the new tcodes, that replace the tcodes above, will be appreciated.

As you know, most standard SAP report allow Excel export. I just wonder is any different between ECC 5.0 and ECC 6.0 for excel report in standard SAP reports?
In ECC 5.0, Reports in profit center accounting, LIS, or PA, etc. has their own different way to export to excel and is any improvement in ECC 6.0? I Thanks.

In ECC 5.0, a lot of reports don't have Excel export function instead user has to go to system -> List -> Save -> Local file -> spreadsheet.
I just wonder is any improvement in ECC 6.0? just like LIS report, user can select export -> Transfer XXL to either pivot table or just plain excel but the function only exist in certain reports in some modules and not all.

Set a productive ECC as source for two BI's?

I don't know if this is an obvious question (sorry if it is)... but I've looking for related info and found nothing.
I have my productive ECC system working as source system for the productive BI. Now I'd need to connect this ECC as source for my development BI system also. When setting the connection I get errors RSAR 371, RSAR 373, RSAR 374, RSAR 8 and E0 414. I found some threads about these errors but related to system changes. I don't want to change source systems but add a new one.
Is it possible to have an ECC as source for several BI systems?

Yes you can set up 2 BI system after ECC6 system.
Check that the set up of the logical source system in ECC is done correctly with specific idoc segments, specific ports of communication, etc.
You may haveto ask a basis expert for that
The only issue you might face is linked to the delta sources not target system dependant.In thatcases you might loose the delta data into one of your BI system

Hi,
This is not the correct place for such businesses. Just to have a S user is not sufficient to download SAP IDES. You have to buy this software and I would propose you to buy it the official way instead of using ebay.

in this manual it is described that in LSO 600 you either have the possibility to export a SOAP interface directly from the SAP HR Netweaver instance and OR can go through SAP XI for doing this.
my problem about this is that i can not find a manual for doing this. my preferred way would be to export this soap requests via NON XI (just ECC 6.0).
does anyone know a manual for exporting this interfaces or similar ones to soap/wsdl?

Creating interface visibly outside package, but not implementable

Hi,
I want to make interface which is implementable only within its package, but usable also outside the package.
for example:

I guess that there's no much difference if I put the interface here as an static internal interface of SomeClass, or as a package visible interface...
Its a little hard to understand how it bypass my problem.
Let me give an example (not the real example..) of a place my design takes place.
So, lets say that There is an interface IUSACitizen implementation,
Now lets say that every state treats its citizens with whole different methods and processes, so each state has its own IUSACitizen, like New Tork having NewYorkCitizen, Whashington has WashingtonCitizen.
For the sake of state purposes, new york processes will use NewYorkCitizen, but for the sake of U.S level usage, it will treat them all as IUSACitizen.
So, I want that methods that need to use IUSACitizen will be able to do so, but methods that will try to implement IUSACitizen will have to go through one of the underlying classes/interfaces.

Enterprise Services in ECC using SPROXY transaction

Dear All,
We were able see the Enterprise Services available in ECC 6.0 EHP 3 using the transaction SPROXY, we have even tested one proxy through this transaction. But now when we have configured ECC to connect the ESR (of PI), it is only showing Software components / Service Interface available in ESR throught the SPROXY transaction in ECC and not showing the Enterprise Services which are available in ECC.
How to see both the things, existing Enterprise Services of ECC and Service Interfaces of ESR through SPROXY transaction in ECC?

Hi Ravi,
It may be that you just need a delta cache refresh but I would start by checking the SLD configuration.
First strt with SAP Note: 1169869
- I think that you might need to try changing the vendor (sap.com) that's assigned to the Software Component Version.
- If you were seeing the SWCV before it should be installed on your system anyway but you can double check using the steps I've specified here: [Can't find ESA ECC-SE 603 SWCV;
- You might also want to check if the SWC is correctly assigned to the relevant business system/s in the SLD.
