I'm sorry, but your translator didn't work very well that time...I'm having a very hard time determining what you are saying in that last post...

Then how do you know that the BB is "only good for BES" as you said earlier?

Where, exactly, is this Geolocation? Since it says something about an IT Policy, it is possible that the BB indeed has one on board.

  • Calling Custom Internet Service from Template

    Hi,
Can anybody let me know what's  the process to call the custom internet service from existing internet service's Template  in new window  ?
    Thanks,
    Sachin

I have also tried to remove the commons-logging dependency and then I got this error:
org.apache.commons.logging.LogConfigurationException: Class org.apache.commons.logging.impl.Jdk14Logger does not implement LogSeems like somewhere in your classpath there is another (older?) version, which does not implement the Log interface.
    Options you have:
    - replace the other version with yours (this can straightforward, but may turn out impossible)
    - redesign your code so that the Log interface is not needed - you may have to first find some info about the version you are forced to use

  • Invoking a Web Service from a mobile application

    Hi all,
I have installed Sun Wireless Toolkit 2.5.2 for CDLC and MTJ.
I want to invoke a web service from an MTJ Application and I have not a clue of how to start.
First let me say I am working with RSA (which is over Eclipse)
My first attempt was creating the web service client and then try to convert it into a mobile application (through the use of MTJ --> Convert to Midlet Project)
I found 4 errors when doing so:
First was solved changing the jre to 1.6.
I am still dealing with the following three:
    * Error preverifying class mipaquete.MiServicioService
    java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError: javax/xml/ws/Service
    * Error preverifying class mipaquete.ObjectFactory
    VERIFIER ERROR mipaquete/ObjectFactory.createMiOperacion(Lmipaquete/MiOperacion;)Ljavax/xml/bind/JAXBElement;:
    Illegal type in constant pool
    * Type mipaquete.MiServicioPortProxy$Descriptor Error preverifying class mipaquete.MiServicioPortProxy$Descriptor
    VERIFIER ERROR mipaquete/MiServicioPortProxy$Descriptor.getDispatch()Ljavax/xml/ws/Dispatch;:
    Illegal type in constant pool
I only started to solve the first one. I assumed that I have to add the right .jar to manifest file (please let me know if I am wrong). I tried to do by adding the textual classpath rt.jar, however I am not able to give it the right path:
C:\Archivos de programa\IBM\SDP\runtimes\base_v7_stub\java\jre\lib\rt.jar (even though I split the too long sentence into two and I include an space at the beginning of the second, I still get an error when saving)
    I would appreciate any help
    A) to solve the existing problems
    or
    B) To create a web service client in an EclipseME application through any other method.
    Thank-you very much in advance,
    Guadalupe
    PS Any clue is welcomed!!

    Hello rss,
If you want to invoke a web service from a JCD you will have to build the SOAP message using JAX-RPC or AXIS and then programmatically creat an HTTP connection.
Or you can leverage the HTTP(S) eWay and then you only have to build the SOAP message.
Or use eInsight. You can import a WSDL into eInsight and eInsight will offer you a business process Activity to invoke the web service operations defined in the WSDL.

  • Is it possible to launch internet services from a BSP?

Hi. I've created a BSP in SRM and what we want to do is allow users to be able to choose from a few options, 1 of which needs to then open the SRM shopping transaction, which is an internet service.
I have tried calling the transaction which points to the service, but get a dump "DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND". I think it might be trying to call it as a gui transaction.
Does anyone know if it is possible to call it as a web service, and if so how?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
    Regards,
    Dave.

Hi. I am trying to open the SRM shopping cart transaction BBPSC02 from a BSP page.
I only get the JS error when calling it from BSP, when I call it from SRM menu it is fine.
The BSP is also called from within SRM, I put it in a role.
What we want exactly is for a user to log into SRM then use the BSP. The BSP will have a few options, 1 of them is to create a shopping cart. If the user chooses that option then we need to call the shopping cart transaction BBPSC02 and it needs to work as normal.
To be honest if we can get all functions working by being called from the BSP then we could bypass logging into SRM and just call the BSP, but we would need to be able to call all SRM transactions to do it this way.
Thanks a lot for your help.
    Regards,
    Dave.

  • Unable to call Internet Service from EP IAC iview

    Hi.
I'm trying to call a r/3 transaction with ITS from portal iview. I wan't to hide menu and toolbar, so I've created an Internet Service in SICF/SE80 with several parameters (webgui_simple_toolbar, ...). The service is activated and published. When I run it, Internet Explorer send me a 403 error.
I've tried to create an iac iview and links the service to it, but system return same problem.
ITS is ok, because I can run r/3 transaction from EP whithout any problem.
    Any idea?
    Thanks a lot!

    Hi Edgar.
Service doesn't run from R/3 system. I've used ITS parameters "TRANSACTION", "WEBGUI", "WEBGUI_SIMPLE_TOOLBAR" and "GENERATEDYNPRO".
R/3 can't run the service and give a 403 error.
Service is actived and published, using SICF and SE80 transactions. Finally, I've run SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INTERNAL and all is good.
When service runs on R/3 system, I will build IAC iView on EP.
    Any idea?
    Thanks a lot.

  • Not able to access SOAP web service data control from adf mobile

    Hi,
I am trying to call web services from adf mobile..
I have created data control from external web service and it is perfectlly working on web browser..
But why it is showing an error on emulator??
Is there any .jar file missing in adf mobile so that it is not supporting a web service?
Or is there any other problem? Emulator is connected to network and I am able to run WSDL in emulator's browser..
Please help me to solve this issue..
    Thanks,
    Laxmi

Emulator is connected to network and I am able to run WSDL in emulator's browser..
Connecting to WSDL in the browser is not the same as connecting to WSDL in an application.
To access a web service from an Android device enable a permission in AndroidManifest.xml that allows applications to open network sockets. Add the following uses-permission element.
    <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET"></uses-permission>

  • Publish internet service through SAP ITS Standalone

    Hi all,
I have installed SAP ITS 6.20 standalone (Patchlevel 38) in conjunction with SAP R/3 Enterprise (SAPKB62063).
We have developed our own custom-build RF transaction and want to access this transaction from a mobile scanner through the ITS.
We have used ITSmobile to publish the RF screens as a Internet Service from SAP R/3 to SAP ITS. The html templates and service file for ZMOB00 have been published successfully to the local ITS.
Now I am trying to call the internet service using the following URL: http://<server>:<port>/scripts/wgate/<ZMOB00>/!
Using this URL I am reaching the logon screen for the internet service. However, after logging in the RF transaction is not started and a empty screen is displayed.
Did I miss something in the configuration? Is the URL correct? How can I make sure my RF transaction is called successfully through standalone ITS?
Thanks in advance for your replies.
    Regards,
    Kenny

    Hi Kenny,
What are the parameters that you have set in the "ZMOB00.srvc" service file?
What generation style did you use to generate teh templates in SE80 - before publishing them to the ITS 6.20 agate/wgate server/s?
    URL is correct

  • We traded our home internet service for a Sprint Hot Spot.  The hot spot does not have an ethernet port to connect through.  Can we connect our time capsule to the wireless hot spot?

Hello, we switched our home internet service from an ethernet modem to a wireless hot spot.
Do you know if there is a way to connect our time capsule to the hot spot?
Everything I read only suggests connecting through an ethernet cable.  I'm hoping there is a way to do this.
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks!!!

No you can't join a wireless hotspot with a Time Capsule directly via it's 'join' option (tried and failed - well to be exact it kinda works but the Time Capsule's ethernet ports no longer work).
What you can do is buy an airport express and use it's 'join' option to connect to the iPhone's hotspot. Then you connect the airport express via ethernet to the time capsule (in bridge-mode).
You can then connect your computers to the time capsule via ethernet or use it's wireless function to set up wireless network (with a different name to that of the hotspot) that your wifi stuff can connect to.

  • Best wireless modem/router for Comcast internet service?

    Hello!
I am looking to switch internet service from Verizon DSL to Comcast. I have a MacBook Pro using Airport Extreme (supports 802.11 a/b/g/n), and my other computer is an iMac (OS 10.5.8, iMac 6,1), with a printer and a Roku box (I'm also thinking about switching to Apple TV). All are currently set-up wirelessly with a combined modem/router.
I know that there is a list of a bunch of potentials on the Comcast website, but I'm looking for real experience from Mac users. Good, bad or neutral comments are appreciated.
    Thank you!
    Ken

Don't pay Comcast monthly for a router. Buy a router. A router is a router, the best routers are Cisco based rackmount devices. Honestly the AirPort Express and Extreme are amazing and work quite well with Apple products. Plus if you purchase one and get AppleCare on it you get AWESOME support from your friendly AppleCare advisors... sure as **** beats going to India and talking to Fred.

  • Tethering vs. conventional internet service

I don't have an iphone--yet. But I like the idea of using an iphone to get internet access via the tethering option from ATT. I currently pay for internet service through my cable TV company. Soon I will be moving to another part of the country and living there part time. I will need internet service there as well. The idea of paying for internet service in both places, or switching one on and the other off, as I move from one place to the other, doesn't appeal. Since I would have the iphone with me in both places, would the tethering option take the place of paying for internet service from two different cable companies? Is there a flaw in my thinking here? I understand that 3g via the iphone isn't quite as fast as a cable modem but I've read that it's quite adequate. I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who uses tethering via their iphone in lieu of conventional internet service.

I'm rather late coming in on this thread but thought I'd respond anyway, in case you're still looking for answers. I'm in Canada, on Rogers, and have the 6GB data package (at $30/month because it was a special introductory offer). When internet tethering became available a year later I tried it out with my MacBookPro, found it worked much better than the satellite modem I was paying $100/month for, so cancelled the satellite and have been using the phone as my modem ever since - about 18 months, if I'm remembering correctly.
I receive MANY large files for a magazine I work on plus websites I maintain. Only twice have I gone over the limit on my plan, so I would think that if you don't do a lot of heavy-duty downloading (or watching videos as someone else suggested), the 2GB plan would be ok.
The downside of this method is that I live in the country, where there is no 3G available (barely even cell service at all sometimes) so I have a booster on my roof which gets me to the 3G level. I've noticed that when I have 3 bars or more my tethering is much more reliable than when it drops down to 1 or 2 bars of 3G. As long as you're in a strong cell area, it should work just fine.

  • RV042 - I have customer who upgraded to 20 meg cable internet service and can only get 10 meg thru the router.

RV042 - I have customer who upgraded to 20 meg cable internet service and can only get 10 meg thru the router. The customer had upgrade to a 20 meg cable internet service from a 10 meg service.   The customer is only able to get the 20 meg service going from cable modem to PC.  If he goes thru the RV042 router, he is only getting up to 10.7 down and 1.37 up.  Additional steps taken….He had a Linksys SRW224P switch connected to the RV042 router and we had disconnected this switch for testing purposes.   We performed the speed test again and we get the same speed results so we know the switch is not the issue. He had upgraded to firmware version 1.3.12.19 – TM Feb 13, 2009 – tested speed and no change. We accessed the web management interface and tried several modifications.   This includes the following…..-       We disabled the firewall – no change-       We disabled SPI with is the Stateful Packet Inspection (I was thinking this one would do it) – no change in speed.-       We disabled DoS (Deny of Service) – no change.-       We set MTU to Manual and tested various byte increments based on MTU ping testing. – Once again, no change in speed.  He is NOT using Load balancing on the routerHe has NO access rules but does have a few port forwards. Finally, with each change, he is saving the changes on the router.

You are expecting 20MB throughput on a $150 router?  Well, ok, maybe.. Can you check on your router or switch if the port is set or auto negotiated to 10 or 100?  That could explain 10MB limit (although technically a 10Mb port is considered 20Mb theoretical max throughput as 100Mb port is considered 200Mb per Cisco).  So maybe you ended up with 10/half somehow?  MTU 1500 would also be good for that connection I think and to try to get max throughput.

  • Verizon Blackberry Internet Service Client (BIS)- How to create an e-mail Filter

Hello. Thank you in advance for replying to my question. I am trying to create an e-mail filter so that a contact's e-mail messages do not get delivered to my BB and instead just go straight to my regular e-mail account. I understand that you can do this function from the BIS, however when I tried to create an account I received a message that said "please use your device to access the BIS." I did just as the message told me but I did not get the same menu options from my BB as I would have gotten from doing it from the internet. The page only showed a list of my e-mails and an "edit" and "delete" choice for each one. There was no "Filter" button for me to click. I remember a while ago I able to access this page and was able to remove the BB signature (i.e.. "This message is being sent from a BB"), so I know that it was possible to access this page. I do not know why I am not able to accesses it now.
If anyone out there has Verizon and knows how to access the BIS, please let me know how. Or if you know how to create an e-mail filter function, please let me know.
    Thank you,
    Fred

    Hi there!
To log into your BIS account from a PC/browser (not the BB browser), go to this URL:
    https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw
Enter your BIS credentials and you will then be in your BIS account screen. From there, use this KB to create the filter you desire:

i want to know how to internet browsing from the wifi connection not from the "DATA SERVICE" when i off my data service from mobile network option then i can't able to surf.........my wifi connection is on and connected.

Do not turn off the Data Services. Just turn off your mobile network connection in the Manage Connections screen.
Go to Options > Advanced > Browser and set your browser to Hotspot, and save. Now, use the browser with the Wifi connection for surfing the internet.

  • Email not accessible from Blacberry using BB Internet service

    Hi all,
I received several time this message and have difficulties to send/receive emails (see below).
Using BB Internet Service There is nothing else to do then subscribe to the service.

    Thanks beforehand

This email account is not currently accessible by your BlackBerry device, so you may be experiencing a delay in email delivery. This issue may be caused by a temporary problem with your email provider. BlackBerry Internet Service will continue attempting to access this account.
     Email Account Information:
    Email Account: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    Email: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    UserID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well, I have some good news.  After spending an hour on the phone with T-Mobile and RIM I finally got ours working again.  Here is what they had me do.  I hope this works for you.
First they had me log into my BlackBerry account online and delete the mailbox.
Next I recreated the mailbox but during the first step I was told to enter the email address but leave the password blank and then click Next
The next screen had two radio buttons: "Re-enter email address and password" or "I will provide the settings to add this email account".  I was told to select the latter and click Next.
Again two radio buttons: "This is my personal email account" or "This is my work email account".  Again, select the latter and click Next.
Next there were three radio buttons, I selected the one under "Outlook Web Access" and clicked Next.
Finally you can re-enter the Outlook Web Access URL, User name, Password, Email address, and Mailbox name.
I filled out everything the same EXCEPT the Outlook Web Access URL.
Here is an example of what our OWA URL is like:  http://email.companyname.com
that is what we always used to use and is where we send our users to log in.  Going to this site would then forward you to something like this: http://mail.companyname.com/exchange
where you would enter your username and password.
So, instead of entering our OWA URL in the BlackBerry setup as http://email.companyname.com as we normally do he had me enter it in as http://mail.companyname.com/exchange
I clicked Next again and hard reset my phone.  A few test messages later I confirmed it was indeed receiving mail again.
I hope that makes some sense to you guys and that it works for you.  If you have any questions about what I am talking about I will try to reply as soon as possible.
